Ashtail was sitting beside Nightglisten, and Shiverpelt was not far off, looking stunned still.
"As ready as we'll ever be I reckon." Ashtail muttered, glancing at the cats around him.

Icefire grinned as she shook out her pelt, following behind Ashtail. “Where do we go first?” She asked him.

Ashtail headed for the camp entrance, waving his tail in farewell to the guards, one of which was Whiteraven, who scowled and bristled as he thought of Sandpebble going with the group. However, he wondered if StarClan choosing her meant something.
Ashtail turned to look at Icefire and frowned a thought frown. "Uhhh wellll I guess towards the pine forest at the border. Me and Sandpebble explored there earlier, and it leads pretty close to the mountain range that PineClan's valley was next to so..." He shrugged.
Nightglisten frowned and sighed, seeming to disapprove of his younger sibling's uncertainty in his voice, and Shiverpelt also sighed, but in a wistful, unnerved way.

(Sure! And then I was thinking Wildmist is hunting while they try to escape so Meltedpaw heads back and Krestlepaw just begs her or something and she’s like well I can’t leave you here, if that works?)
Icefire grinned. “Sounds like we’ll be spending some time in the mountains then!” She responded gleefully.

"The mountains... Uh, sounds... cold." Shiverpelt commented bluntly.
"Depends how high we go, sweetheart." Ashtail said cheerfully, itching to make a mad dash towards them. He wanted to get back to his clan as soon as possible and help rescue them, and what about Lilactail? The thought of her- and her somewhat scary sister Wolfeyes- made him both apprehensive and more eager to return home. "I love the mountains. We used to go watch hawks there, and sometimes even hunt them, but they're pretty tricky to get a hold of!"
Nightglisten recalled apprentices in his day bragging about trying to get close to hawks, eagles, and other birds of prey. "A bit of a risky pursuit and rather pointless, but sounds like things haven't changed much." He said with a sigh.

Icefire shrugged. “Sounds fine to me. The only mountain I’ve been to is the one on our territory.” She giggled with excitement. “Seems like this whole prophecy will be one big adventure!”

Gingerfoot padded to the nest and settled down, lying on her side. She lifted her head to look at the medicine cat. "I'm fatigued," she explained, "and my stomach has been spinning all morning. I tried to see if going out and eating would help, but neither did." |

Meltedpaw sat down in front of the camp's entrance, watching the journeying cats become smaller than smaller until they disappeared. Although excited for his sister, he still felt exceedingly jealous. He sighed, pawing the ground.
