Nightglisten smiled and chuckled at this, but his face fell after a few minutes, as he looked at Mooneyes, then around the camp. "... Not anymore, Mooneyes. You'll have to entrust any help with Pinepaw now." He responded in a quiet, serious tone. He almost said something dramatic like I won't be coming back but stopped himself. That'd be ridiculous.

( Cardinalsong Cardinal what if Melted and Kestrel plot together to go, since Kestrel's going uninvited? cx Might freak his mom though lol. ) Nightglisten was relieved that there weren't many comments on him stepping down to be a warrior. The prophecy and the suddenness of all of them leaving was obviously overwhelming enough, so he let out a breath. Turning, however, he spotted Wildmist looking at him. She wasn't going with them, and it occurred to him just then too. He hesitated for a moment before padding over towards her. (Fine by me! Maybe that means Wildmist won't go since I'll have so many cats) Wildmist caught his gaze as he walked over. She pawed the ground, trying to hide her emotions. |

( Hi Morning and Cardinal! Typing ideas in drafts for possible future rp so probably will vanish.

Ashtail stared at her, then the ground, then the camp in an awkward, nervous silence. Finally get got to his feet and said. "Errr guess we should go talk to the others?" He mewed with his usual smile. "To sorta plan ahead f whatever, since we're leaving... very soon." He added to clarify.

Galefoot lunged towards the dog and managed to claw at it's leg before racing towards the fences. The dog yelped in pain which only made it angrier. He raced off after the cat ready to catch it!

Coralmoon led Lavender away as fast as she could. She stopped once they reached a grove of trees and turned to wait for Galefoot. SHe prayed he'd make it out ok.

( MotherofSolace I have offered to rp with you several times with no answer... So, uh everyone's caught up with the prophecy, I suggest you just post a starter with your cat's reaction to what Harestar said during the meeting.  ) Nightglisten blinked and glanced over at Wildmist. Apparently Mooneyes was more perceptive than he thought- that or it'd been more obvious than he had thought- and a question came to mind as she said live enough for the both of us with her. Wildmist's comment about her and Ravenheart came to mind, and he thought of saying something about it, but figured it wasn't his right to suspect or criticize, considering. He tried to give her a reassuring smile, but it faltered- she could not see it after all. Instead he said with a scoff. "I understand... but, don't go so far to insult both my teaching and your own merits in one sentence. You'll be a fine medicine cat on your own, and Pinepaw will be too, one day.... Goodbye, at least, for right now." He touched the tip of his nose to her forehead in farewell, and strode over towards Wildmist, his expression serious as he sat beside her, his bushy tail curling around his paws as he remained silent, waiting for her to speak first. |

Mooneyes then went back to her den to help Pinepaw prepare the herbs needed for the others to travel.

Badgerstripe sat in silence, her fur beginning to rise as her mind raced. Why me and not Blizzardstorm?, the black and white she-cat was secretly disappointed that the tom wouldn't be joining the journeying cats. Blizzardstorm padded up to her. "Pretty cool you get to go, huh?" He said with a small smile. "Be careful out there. Maybe ol come back with an eagle." He told her, bringing back up the joke they had when they were younger. |
