Duskfeather slipped out of the nursery, enjoying the pleasant rub from the brambles on her spine. She blinked her blue eyes up at the sun, adjusting to its brightness.

Kestrel examined the crab, poking at it's claws, as well as sniffing it. He nodded to himself, then took another look around. After a moment he noticed a crab scurrying away, as if it suspected them, and followed after it at a quick pace down the shore. However, he was very careful. Upon reaching it and trying to pin it as Riversong suggested, his bushy tail began to wave, and it managed to move aside and clamp it's claw on it. He yelped as it pulled hair, and then the crab, as he swung his tail in an attempt to get it off, went flying, landing with a small splash into the shallows of the ocean.

( Maybe Lionpaw and one of the apprentices? I have all my other cats open though, besides Ashtail, Shiverpelt, Crowwhisper and Kestrel, that is. And ok. I don't mind remaking it so idk. cx )

Lionpaw strolled around camp, and stretched his claws. He was a bit tired after training earlier, but still felt he could do more.

Crowwhisper nodded his head in agreement, heading to pick up the few fish he had caught during the trip, which where near a rock nearby.

"Oh! Alright, if you think so... I... guess it would be hard bringing this much back heh. It was a great hunt though! The best!" The young cat answered, turning to pick up the fish he'd caught earlier and laid aside when they's arrived, picking it up and beginning to trot back towards camp with it merrily.

Kestrel ran at a run, but slowed, recalling Riversong's words of earlier. He waited for both Crowwhisper and Riversong to catch up, before slowing. Something had come to mind all of a sudden, and he wanted to talk, but didn't want to put down his fish. He frowned and headed onward, thinking he'd wait till they reached camp.

Crowwhisper also hurried back into the camp, leaving his prey in the pile as soon as he reached it, and dipping his head back to his companions before heading to rest near the warrior's den, where he saw his father, Fox, was resting just outside.

Kestrel skipped into camp, leaving his own fish in the pile after Crowwhisper did. He then looked to Riversong, tail waving with some concealed excitement. He quickly asked, "You think I'm talented enough to join, sir Riversong? I really really like it here, but I don't want to leave my family, but I doubt they'd join, you think I can visit some times but stay here? You could even be my mentor and I could learn so much! Like we did today! What do you say?"

"Oh! I forgot, heh." Kestrel said with a chuckle. "I suppose I'll get to know everybody though, so I wouldn't mind another mentor. Maybe Crowwhisper!"
Crowwhisper looked up from where he was sitting and frowned.
"This'll be great regradless! Uh... I guess I have to ask my mother first... then Harestar, should I ask Harestar? You think he'll let me join?"

Erminetail suppressed a small jolt of surprise as he felt Burntember begin to groom his fur. Something about her purring and the repetitive motion of the grooming calmed him. “How do you know how to do that?” he purred.
Boldkit purred loudly as he watched Sunkit fling the leaf back into the air. Will we still be able to play like this in a moon when we’re apprentices?, he wondered solemnly. “I can’t believe we will be hunting real squirrels in a moon!” he mewed trying to sound excited.
