Erminetail stifled a purr as he padded alongside Burntember. He struggled to think of anything to say and kept glancing at his paws.

Boldkit batted at a leaf half-heartedly. His eyes slowly rested on the apprentice den as he let out a quiet sigh. I wonder what Lionpaw is up to, the young tom though as he felt a small pang of jealousy for his adoptive kin. He puffed up his chest as he thought about becoming an apprentice. I’m going to become a great warrior like Ravenstep, he silently reminded himself.

Galefoot looked over at Coralmoon. "It was my old name though I have a few nicknames." He explained before walking over to Martha. "You are looking well how are ya?" Martha purred and sits down in front of him. "I am doing well for the most part. However, I can tell you aren't here just to see me." Coralmoon stood slightly behind Galefoot as he talked to the shecat. She looked around and wondered about his life here. |

I think I like newleaf the best!” Erminetail purred as he stared up at trees, letting the sound of bird song and the scent of new growth flood over him. “Everything seems better in newleaf, it brings so many new opportunities, new hunting, new plants” the fluffy white tom rambled on, his eyes shining as he admired his surroundings.

“Hi, Sunkit” Boldkit sighed but smiled when he saw his sister. “It feels weird that Lionkit is an apprentice and we’re not” the small tom kicked the earth gently with his forepaw. “I know he’s older but it never felt like he was before now” he admitted, looking down at his own paws.

"Yes!" Boldkit's voice squeaked in excitement but he quickly shook his fur out and regained control over it, not wanting to sound like a little kit. "What should we do?" he meowed, trying his best to sound grown up.

I mean he can't be that likeable." Foxtail, realizing he was being a bit rude about the medicine cat, he shrugged. He didn't hate Nightglisten, but he just didn't get how anyone could befriend, let alone like him as Honeydew suspected her sister did.
