Owlpaw frowned at her response. His eyes lit up again as he spoke. "Are you kidding? I think you'd be the greatest deputy!" he told her with a smile.
Icefire chickened. "Looks like Owlpaw is laying on the charm thick " she joked to Blackdawn.
Wolfshadow nodded and rested his tail on her shoulder. "You'll do fine. Let's go," he told her.
(Mintkit - No I had to change it. I was Icefire on the OG forums but someone took that here. That's why I named one of my cats it here instead)

Snowpaw gave a small purr.
"Maybe one day, but I have to get tougher." The she-cat said with determination. Though she really didn't want to be like Timberstone, all he seemed to do was bark at cats.
Blackdawn shook her head with a laugh.
"I'm just happy to her so cheerful. She's always so worried about Batscreech and making sure our mothers fed. Sometimes I wonder if she should have become a medicine cat's apprentice." The warrior said.

Icefire shrugged. "I'm sure it's just because Doeleap is her mentor," she told her, knowing the older she-cat would do those things as well.
Owlpaw jumped on her back. "Get stronger!" he laughed as he spoke.

Snowpaw fell on the ground with an oof in surprise. She rolled over on her side and towards her back.
Blackdawn nodded.
"That is true, but I'm glad Doeleap is her mentor. It helps her learn trust and loyalty amount clanmates." Blackdawn said.

"These two better get taken out on a patrol soon though. They might destroy the camp." She chuckled.

Blackdawn thought of her own apprentice, wondering where they were at.
"How do you think the apprentices will do?" She asked Icefire.

Mudfang hissed and furiously tried shaking Timberstone off of his pelt. Emberspark rolled her eyes. "Classics tom," she told her, as she shook her totortoiseshell pelt. "Come on, I'll take you to Harestar." Icefire lazily yawned as she woke up for her nap in the warrior's den. |

Icefire looked at all the apprentices. "We got really lucky to have had such a boom. I think they'll turn into fine warriors,"

Lucky was one word for it. If her mother were loyal the young apprentice wouldn't be here.
"Yes indeed." She answered simply.
Snowpaw eyes grew wide.
"Should we?" She asked, but was already looking around for a tree.

Owlpaw looked up at the leader's den, it was underneath the tallest tree in camp. "What about that one?" He offered Snowpaw.
Wolfshadow followed behind her, eventually catching enough speed to be in step with her.
(You can now? Hmm.. maybe I'll see if I can get my name back)

Snowpaw looked at the tree. Climbing above the leaders den could be frowned upon by the warriors. On the other hand, what could expanding their skills hurt?

- TIMESKIP -
Half a moon has passed since Mudfang and Sandpebble stepped into OakClan's territory. Mudfang beat Timberstone in his battle assessment, and Timberstone had to swallow his pride and report to Harestar that he could join OakClan. Harestar allowed both brother and sister to stay in the Clan, although most of the Clan was still weary of them. Some still waited for more of "WaveClan" members to come into OakClan, although that never happened. Mudfang suggested his Clan must had either drowned, died off, or scattered to other places.
Sandpebble was spending as much time with Harestar as she could without being too obvious that she was his daughter. She made friends with Emberspark, and has considered telling her their secret.
Mudfang has only started plotting his plan to kill Harestar, but has decided he needs time to earn the Clan's trust. It was a matter of thought how he should do this. Get a mate? Pretend to have fought off a predator? Only time will tell. Leaf-fall has just started and his deadline to kill his father was leaf-bare.

( Hi guys! And ooo, story update. o: Interested to see what Mud is plotting. Huh... I need a subplot for my cats so they're not always drifting around bored and thus giving me rp block. cx Like rivalry or romance or something? Also Cardinalsong is it ok to make my loner character Fox who is still a loner and have him appear sometimes? Him and Sparrowtail are still mates so I wanted to be sure that was ok, they'll probably be the only pre-decided mates though because they have kits. ) |
