Duskfeather trotted into camp with a thrush in her jaws. Placing it on the fresh kill pile, she settled outside the warriors' den and began to groom her dusty pelt. Pumpkinstripe yawned loudly and stretched in his nest. It must be nearly sunhigh, he thought guiltily, jumping out of his nest with a shake of his bright ginger pelt. Wolfshadow followed behind Duskfeather, a crab in his jaws. "Nice catch," he told her as he placed the prey down onto the pile. |

Snowpaw sat down and looked at Icefire. Tawnyhaze padded away and Blackdawn sighed. He should be taking this out on their mother not Snowpaw. Snowpaw looked at Icefire.
"I was just wondering..." She mumbled.

Snowpaw tried not to chuckle.
"You said he's just serious, right Blackdawn?" Snowpaw asked.
"Of course." The older she-cat purred. Snowpaw shuffled her feet.
"I'll make him proud. He'll see!" The apprentice cheered up, puffing her chest. Blackdawn gave a small purr.

Icefire smiled and padded over to catch up to Tawnyhaze. She had a bone to pick with him, and could never avoid confrontation. "Hey! What's your deal bullying your sister?" she ran up to him.
Owlpaw noticed the commotion and padded over. "You alright?" he asked Snowpaw.

Tawnyhaze almost jumped when Icefire ran up to him. He stopped walking.
"I didn't realize repremading was bullying now." He said.
Snowpaw stood up and shook her fur, already having forgot the confrontation.
"Of course." She said quickly to Owlpaw.

"Whoever it was, I can take them down!" I just learned new battle moves, Owlpaw told her, playfully pretending to bat a cat.
Icefire rolled her eyes. "She told me she has to prove herself to you now. You're her sibling! She shouldn't have to," she protested.

"Snowpaw always thinks she has to prove herself to all cats. She likes being brave." He said.
Snowpaw watched Owlpaw.
"You could take down Tanwyhaze?" She asked. The she-cat watched the move.
"Can you show me?" She asked excitedly.

Owlpaw faltered. Tawnyhaze? He's so big! "Uhh.. yeah! You just climb up one of the Oak trees and jump on his back! The ultimate surprise!"

Snowpaw tilted her head and then smiled.
"Like this!" She asked, jumping on the other apprentice.
Tawnyhaze looked at Icefire.
"She knows I support her, okay?" He said tightly, his frame tense. He started walking again.

Icefire raised an eyebrow. "Oh really? Does she know that? Seems like Blackdawn is always the one to hang out with her," she countered.

Snowpaw gave a happy purr.
"When do you they will take us on a patrol again?" She asked. The apprentice hadn't been on a border patrol in days.
Tawnyhaze whirled on the other warrior.
"What my family does is our business, not yours!" He hissed.

Owlpaw arched his head as Snowpaw was still on his back. "Maybe once all this WaveClan stuff settles down. I heard they're joining soon."
Icefire narrowed her eyes and spun around. "Fine! Excuse me for looking out for my Clan."

Snowpaw forgot about their play fighting and climbed down. She looked at Owlpaw.
"Really? I thought they hate us." She said.
Tawnyhaze glared at Icefire, walking to the other side of camp. Blackdawn watched the engagement with a concerned gaze, her ears flicking uneasily.

Blackdawn let out a long sigh. Tawnyhaze knew better then to snap at Snowpaw for reasons beyond the apprentices control.
"He'll get over it. The tom's always have tough skin." She said, giving a half smile.
Snowpaw blinked.
"Maybe I heard it wrong I guess." Snowpaw said.
"Could you imagine another clan in camp. There will be so many cats!" She exclaimed.

Owlpaw nodded. "We'd call the Clan WaveOakClan! And I'd be the leader," he said as he puffed up his chest.

Duskfeather smiled warmly at Wolfshadow. "You too, sir." She nodded at the crab, and replied with a gentle grimace, "I've never been skilled at catching those. Never got the hang of the sideways movement thing." She smiled again, as if remembering a time she'd attempted to catch one of the crustaceans.

Wolfshadow chucked. "My sister is obsessed with the beach. She basically taught me how to catch those by all the times we were at the ocean." He shook his still dripping black and white pelt.
