Fayne watched his companion(s?) excitedly, his tail wagging eagerly before he gave a soft woof. "That was awesome, Pine!" He barked, suppressing a vague feeling of jealousy. He wanted to hunt too! But his stupid leg made it difficult right now. He paused after a moment though, gazing around the clearing and slowly pacing in a circle before he let out a bark of warning. "Show yourself!"

Pine's body was rushing with impatience. If she was tired moments before, there was no sign of it now. The young dog was ready for an adventure. She was especially happy that other dogs were with her! She was trying hard not to jump everywhere. It was then the wolf-like dog Fayne barked.
She stayed close to the river rabbit she killed.
