Kasida watched Harlan drag Collis away to the break room. Of course she was relatively intimidated by her glare, but she didn't let her fear show too much. If anything, she simply let out a long huff before got onto the ship with a bit of a huff. Of course she put on a brave face as they were starting to hijack it and all. "Guess we get to have some fun." she laughed as she was already starting to shoot at some extra manning pilots. She wasn't too bothered with the blatant rejection anyway. She figured that it was only fun. Collis sighed and leaned against a wall. He was bored. "You know what'd be fun? Instead of killing the former prisoners, we could use them as hostages to taking all the docking ship's good loot. Then we could sell the stuff we don't want, keep the squidonian from the docking ship and sell him. Then we'd have enough money to do something extra fun. Host a part, kill everyone who shows up? Buy poison and poison all the drinks at a bar? Go into the black market and throw around some threats? Sounds like fun." He mused, talking more to himself than he was to Kasida.

Harlan waited with the scummy little things and even had a conversation. She noticed a ship outside "Oh look our rescuers are here" she joked with her hand to her forehead like she was going to faint, and got all the little things to laugh.

(Thanks! I guess I'll go with that then, she's stowed away on the Andromeda ship with the bounty hunters and stuff.)
A life support room wasn't the best place for a Zaeli to spend the night, as a young stowaway by the name of Elii'a'Eolis quickly found out. It might have been better it weren't for the commotion- within the last hour the room had slowly heated up to dangerous temperatures with the strain on all of the ship's systems and the constant cycling of airlocks as boarders came in or went out to the other ship. The small, pixie-like alien wasn't sure exactly what was going on but given that she'd stowed away on an Andromeda ship, it was probably some kind of piracy or slaving attempt. Ellie, as she preferred to be called, had slightly greenish skin and the bright blueish green ritual tattoos that her species was known for covering most of her body. On top of the tattoos, her species had other unique features as well- pointed ears, two bone ridges along the top of the skull, an extra finger on each hand, and small amounts of chlorophyll in the skin that provided the greenish tinge and lessened her need to eat food. She also possessed eyes that were inverted colors from that of a human- the pupils were white, with a colored iris- in her case, light blue- and otherwise wholly black. She was very small, like the rest of her species, at only 3'11, which had been helpful in boarding the ship unnoticed. It also contrasted nicely with the other being in the room- a hulking metal construct that stood inactive across from her. Ellie could hear footsteps coming down the hallway even as she finished up connecting a wire to her robot's computer. She closed the access panel and stood up, no problem for her even in the tight space of the ventilation chamber. Quietly, the Zaeli whispered "Rune, wake up." The construct whirred to life, its single ocular processor glowing a dull orange. The robot made an attempt to stand up, but failed to in the tight space. It settled for resuming its kneeling position.
"RN-35c online. Ellie, my sensors indicate that multiple combatants have taken control of the ship. I suggest we move away from this space and into a more defensible location." Ah, Rune. Once a decommissioned military exosuit prototype from twenty years ago, Ellie had found him in a junkyard on some dump of a planet and rebuilt him. Mostly. He was honestly kind of a mess. A bulky, blocky android with a vaguely humanoid shape save the lack of a head (his ocular processor and CPU were located in the 'chest'), he may have seemed a pinnacle of military technology at one point, but his chassis was now covered in rust and most of his parts replaced with those from other pieces of equipment. He only vaguely resembled his original form, but he had kept the integrated weapons and heavy armor from his original form. His right forearm was entirely replaced with a small laser cannon that acted as an innacurate but powerful machine gun and he had small shoulder mounts on which Ellie had placed a laser welder and an honestly quite ghetto-looking scrap launcher.
Ellie grimaced and tucked her tools away back into her toolbelt. She dressed as any true junker, scavenger, or mechanic would- an old and worn formfitting engineer's jumpsuit with copius amounts of harnesses, belts, and pouches worn over. Her old helmet had a flip-down welding visor and a hazard mask that fit over her lower face hung loose around her neck, connected with tubes to an oxygen tank that clipped onto the back of her belt. Unfortunately, none of that would help if she got into a fight with someone. That was what her partner was for, after all- she'd fixed him so he could be her protector of sorts, after she'd gotten on the wrong side of some bad people back in Andromeda. Part of that was the reason she stowed away here- she was hoping to get away from that. The small Zaeli had no way of knowing whether she'd actually made it anywhere, but that didn't matter right now. "So you're saying we're on a ship with a group of people strong enough to take down the Andromeda soldiers, and that those people now control the ship."
"Affirmative."
"They're probably going to kill us all, aren't they?"
The robot paused for a moment before answering. "Affirmative."
"Well isn't that just splendid." The girl sighed. "Let's get out of here. Do you think you might be strong enough to take them down?"
"Unlikely. I do not appear to be equipped with reserve ammunition, and I am running low on power cells for my main cannon. Prolonged combat action is unlikely to succeed. Might I suggest a diplomatic approach?" Rune stated calmly, internally checking its power core and ammunition count as well as running probability simulations of potential solutions to this issue.
"Right, and get both of us killed." She paused for a moment and thought about it, before saying "Alright, <heck> it. We'll go and talk to them. We'll probably die either way, so we might as well get it over with. And hey, maybe they won't want to shoot me with you around."
"Unlikely. I estimate a 67% probability that we will be shot at during this encounter, however there is still a 12% chance of success assuming we survive. Allow me to lead the way, Ms. Ellie." The robot stiffly turned, scraping himself somewhat on the narrow entryway before stepping out into the hallway with heavy footsteps. The girl shook her head at Rune's probabilities, understanding that the machine probably didn't understand that the low chance wasn't encouraging in the slightest. Then she followed quietly, trusting the large robot's ability to lead the way through the maze of the ship's interior.
(Sorry for the long post, I tend to have fairly long starters. :3 Hope these two are acceptable, tell me if Rune is too overpowered. As a side note Ellie carries no weapons but she might pick one up if needed. She's a terrible shot though.)

Harlan was walking back to Collis when she ran into a tiny little thing with a robot. She looked at it in amusement "You part of andromeda?" She asked, not in a killing mood. She whipped out a cigarette and tapped her foot in impatience, waiting for it to attack.

(I mean I would help but my characters are not particularly space-faring)
(I guess I could introduce a new character, maybe as part of the reinforcements for the Nolina.)

She whipped out a cigarette and tapped her foot in impatience, waiting for it to attack. "No, actually, just wondering if you might take it easy up there." Ellie wasn't actually sure where 'up there' was considering she had no idea where the bridge was but she guessed she was referring to the ship in general. "This ship can't take too much more stress before things start breaking. You maybe wanna stop whatever you're planning, or at least be quicker about it?" The small being didn't particularly care how the woman looked down at her as if she was some funny thing, nor did she care that she had to look up at the other. The Zaeli scrapper was used to it by now. She also didn't care that she was intentionally antagonizing the being with the power here, considering the fact that she had a seven-foot-tall armored robot just behind her with a laser cannon that spit out bolts at a ridiculous rate while the other had: what, some pistols and a machine gun? And a cigarette, don't forget about that. Lung cancer was a serious advantage to have in close quarters combat.

"I'm sorry" she said, for once legitimately "you're absolutely right" She kept eyeing the robot warily "Hey Collis!!" She shjouted into the cockpit " how much does a junker like this and the bozo who made it sell for? They're pretty smart! " she looked the two up and down waitkng for one to attack her.

Collis walked out of the cockpit and made his way over to Harlan, not even noticing Ellie as he looked right over her head. He was 6'9, after all, so he towered above the girl and wasn't that short compared to the make-shift android. He followed his girlfriend's gave downwards and his eyes landed of the girl. "She's tiny!" He couldn't stifle his laugh. "A little mechanic girl? Well, her skin's definitely odd, bet that'd fetch a higher price; there are a lot of people who want unique traits in their slaves. Being a mechanic is a plus. Maybe, 230,000? A mechanic is good to have around and she's also a fancy gem, her temper would be the main source. If she's timid and obedient, we could probably pump up the price another couple thousand, but if she has a short temper and speaks bluntly, then the price will probable drop five thousand." He mused, eyeing the girl. "As for the android, not even five thousand. It's scrap metal and I doubt it's very good at using the weapons that are equipped to it, plus it looks old. It wouldn't sell for much."

"First up, screw you, both of you. Secondly, neither of us are for sale." Ellie smirked. She knew she was being overconfident and was probably going to get beaten or shot or something but the whole thing was really just too funny. She'd just ignore the jabs at her pal's appearance and her own 'evaluation'. Rune was being silent, which was probably a good thing. Don't reveal all of your cards until you had a reason too- a smart robot was more dangerous than a dumb one. "You don't seem to be killing me though, so I'll take a little rudeness. So, are you going to stop breaking the ship with your killing people and being present in a warzone? Or I suppose you could just kill everybody here in one blow instead of shooting up the place. Oxygen controls would do the trick. I suspect you'll want the profit from the slaves though- dead corpses tend not to sell well." She sneered a little, not particularly concerned. If they were going to kill her or everybody else they should have done it already. This was just wasting time, which was fine by her. Maybe whoever the other side was in this battle would show up.

Kasida was merely an observer until Collis pulled out a knife. Then she bothered to take a stance on the issue, and flex out the three pairs of dragon wing she had before stepping in front of Collis. "Seriously?" she huffed a little as she bared her teeth slightly. "You would consider damaging the profit on this little thing?" she felt herself growl more, being a mere 6'5", she nearly had some advantage on Collis. "I say we keep her, it's boring to watch you and Harlan bicker and canoodle, this little thing and her little scrap would make a good pet." she chuckled.

"Can't watch my tongue, my eyes don't work like that." Really, this was too funny. Also scary as hell, but whatever. She wasn't going to tell them that. She flinched a little at the knife, but only a slight twitch. Her expression didn't waver. "Rune, you mind?" The robot stepped forward towards the man, aiming a massive laser cannon at the two of them almost point-blank and extending the welder while bringing the other hand in front of her torso- not grabbing her, but making it easy to do so should the man continue moving. The action took very little time- whatever Rune's outward appearance, Ellie had always kept his joints and moving parts clean and unimpeded and the quality of his AI paired with his military programming meant that his reaction time was extraordinary. The guy could diss on the robot all it wanted, but a laser cannon to the face was a laser cannon to the face, no matter how 'not very good at using the weapons' you were. This guy had a butterfly knife. Probably with some kind of energy enhancement or something, but still, the argument stood. The girl? She couldn't see what kind of weaponry she carried but it probably wouldn't matter too much. Also, now she was going to be a pet? These people should make up their minds on what they wanted her to be: slave? Pet? Hostage? All of the above? She couldn’t resist crossing her arms and saying, "Woof." Why was she still antagonizing these psychos? By all means she should have run away or started shooting way before this point. She was probably going to get herself killed. At least she'd have some fun while doing so. (Sorry if this character is actually annoying to you, but she doesn't take anything seriously. Like, nothing at all. I’ve mentioned before that she’s gotten on the bad side of bad people in the past and this is pretty much exactly how that happened.)

"It's only fun if you get to torture or kill them, Kasida. Plus, no one'd buy such an annoying bird. There's a reason tropical birds aren't kept as pets, they annoy people with their voices." Collis pointed out, not paying much mind to the android as it moved in front of the girl. He set his wife back in its holster. "Whatever, if you want to deal with her, be my guest, just make sure you teach her some manners. The android won't sell for much, so if you destroy it, that'd probably shut her up. Anyway, I'm going to check on Harlan." He said, nonchalantly. He left the hallway and made his way to the room where the bulk of the prisoners were, noting two people at a monitor. "What the hell are you two doing?" He asked with a cold glare, not in a good mood. "Autopilot. I mean, if you're going to kill the captain, we've got to keep the ship from crashing somehow." Ray replied and Collis just shook his head. He lashed his pointed tail as he made his way toward where Harlan had run off to, guessing she would be down at the cells.

Kasida pursed her lips with a bit of a huff before she soon glanced back to the little imp with her robot. Oh well, the woman figured that they wouldn't get much profit from a bad-mouthed thing like her, but she couldn't deny that her skills could be useful. "Alright, Collis... She should be in the cells." she added while she soon looked back over to the girl before laughing slightly at the sound she made. "Hmph, you may be a pet after all." she smirked before she glanced to the robot, a little annoyed with it. "Call that thing off, will you? You probably have a good chance of sticking around here if you keep on my good side." she added as she ran a hand through her hair. "I have half a mind to talk to the others about applying you to our little crew, but I don't know if you have top notch skills or just a big talker." she mused to herself. "I'd be willing to keep you under my wings if you watch your tongue and prove yourself. We take bounties and we're damn good at providing for ourselves. Your thoughts?" she prompted the girl to speak.

Harlan saw Collis walk into the room and ran to him "Am i not scary?" She asked him " I know you're scarier, but i'm at least better than dragonwings up there with her chase after you" She laughed "Can we break the robot?" She smiled and started to laugh, over her sadness.

"That's a... generous offer." Ellie finally said. She wasn't sure if this was something she wanted to do, but it seemed like a good way to not die so she'd take it, for now at least. Probably break off from these guys when she could but for now that wasn't a bad plan. "Rune, stand down." The robot complied, taking a single step back and pointing its weapons away from the woman. Not that the phrase 'stand down' meant anything to the robot- it wasn't a command to back off entirely, but rather a command to seem to back off but remain ready. She paused for a second or two, clearly mulling something over, before asking, "What do you need me for? I'm sure you can see that I wouldn't be good in a fight." She made a gesture indicating her height, and then continued, "But if you just want me to continue keeping this ship together I can do that, so long as you quit shooting and we get out of this fight as soon as we can. All this laser discharge and ambient energy is playing hell with the air systems and who knows what else." Some ships just weren't meant for interior fighting.

"We're all warriors, I feel like it's necessary to have a little tech specializer... So for now, I'm guessing all the use you're gonna have is to maintain the ship." Kasida said as she examined her nails for a moment or two. "I think we just need to get out stuff together and wait for others to make their moves." she said with a bit of a shrug. She reached over to pat the top of her head with a slight laugh. "Just leave the other two alone and keep your mouth shut around them." she advised before she sat down in one of the pilot seats for a moment.
