tinybreeze Longdust decides that this isn't particularly important, and heads back to camp. He does alert Lionstar, however- "MountainClan cats were talking with some young cats at the twoleg nest between our borders. Probably just kittypets, nothing too important, but I thought you should know." Lionstar stretches, just having woken up from his nap. "Thanks for letting me know, then. Shouldn't be a problem." Longdust now has 1 action left this moon.
"I can introduce you to my leader, if you like. I want to make sure he's alright with you staying on our territory," Oddnight explains. Connor only gives her a weird look, standing from his spot. "'S my territory too. Like I said, been living here nearly all my life." He doesn't actually complain, though, and follows Oddnight back to camp- he even carries a few extra poppies for her. HailClan +8 poppy flowers (dried and seeds shaken out. Poppy seeds are used to ease pain, aid sleep, and sooth distress)"This is Connor," Oddnight introduces to Lionstar. "He says he's been living in this territory since before we came here." "Since I was a kit," he clarifies. "Don't have a problem with you, though, 'long as I get to stick around." How should Lionstar handle this situation? Longdust will go hunting. Gotta stock up, after all! --- Lionstar will let Connor stay. As long as there's no trouble, everyone should be able to coexist. |

~HalfMoon~ Tonight is the half moon! Which in game-terms means that there's about one irl day before the Full Moon. (This full moon will be tomorrow night, roughly around 12AM pacific time.) All non-injured, non-sick medicine cats will automatically head out to the medicine cat gathering, the result of which will probably be posted sometime tomorrow afternoon. Leaders should choose sometime today or tomorrow who's going to the gathering, as well. Cats who go to the gathering may interact with and become friends with cats from other clans, and will also be representing your clan as a whole! If you don't pick any cats to go, by default only your leader and deputy will attend. Note that none of this interferes with regular events and actions, because you can assume that each action happens mostly on different in-game days from each other, simply within the same moon.

Rosestar and Paleblossom head out for a hunting patrol, but it becomes obvious that Rosestar isn't at her peak. As Paleblossom bolts down her second rabbit for the day, Rosestar lags behind, only managing to assist insofar as blocking off escape routes for the prey. "Is something wrong, Rosestar?" Paleblossom's concerned mew meets her leader, and Rosestar simply flicks an ear in response, apparently considering whether to clarify or not. "My head feels like it's filled with stinging bees right now. Running doesn't exactly help," she explains, shaking her pelt as though to signal it's not a big deal. "We don't have anything for it back in camp, so I didn't ask Tinyburr about it. It'll go away soon, I'm sure." "You should've just rested," Paleblossom points out, eyes narrowing. "You can just let me handle the hunting, Rosestar, I really don't mind." Rosestar's answer is a laugh of a purr. "You already seem to take care of most of it yourself, to be fair. Our best hunter." Paleblossom scoffs, only mildly embarrassed, and heads off to catch another. BrookClan +6 mealsRosestar and Paleblossom are now friendly acquaintances!

As Waspmouth nears the brook border, he spots an adult tom on one of the center rocks, encouraging a younger cat to hop across to join him. They are crossing toward BrookClan territory, but don't seem to be trying to move directly into it. Should he try to talk to them, or leave them be?

Waspmouth should try to talk to them. Talking to them might reveal more about these strangers, and make sure they weren't planning anything malicious.

stonekeeper "Why would you want to become part-time wildcats? Or have anything to do with being feral in the first place?" Runningstar remains tentative, but the tom notices nothing, his eyes seeming to light up with the question. "Ferals are so cool! They get to fight people all the time, and their food tastes really good! But I don't want to do it all the time, because my housefolk are really nice and I don't think sleeping in bushes would be very fun," he explains. Scooter has taken to grooming herself, not seeming as enthused as the other. "I don't actually care that much about being wild," she explains casually. "I'll do whatever seems fun, and messing with noisy birds is pretty fun."
"That was great! Your first day of training!" Roseshine's voice is full of warmth as she praises her apprentice, who only ducks his head as though he's embarrassed. "Oh, I don't know if it was all that! I feel a little bad that I didn't get everything right." He curls his tail around his paws, self-conscious. "Now that's just silly! No one gets everything right on their first try, and you're a good learner." Honeypaw shuffles his paws on the ground at the praise, managing a quiet "Thanks, Roseshine." Roseshine and Honeypaw are now close acquaintances.

blueheart No problem at all!! That's why moons stretch multiple days, so that people can play whenever they have time.
-They should question what exactly the tom wants, but try to not be too aggressive with him, in case he's not looking for any trouble, I don't want to scare him off...- "What do you want, exactly?" Dustrat questions, suspicious but not wanting to get aggressive quite yet. The tom doesn't seem to answer, though- instead he shuffles awkwardly before continuing to talk. "Oh, sorry, I... I was just going to ask how the prey's running for you guys. You know, how the weather's been? It's pretty nice this greenleaf, isn't it?" Dustrat doesn't believe for a second that this isn't a trick of some sort. This tom is just acting too weird.

CreamCrow Pondflower hops up onto the platform with the tom, examining the she-cat in front of her. She only blearily opens her eyes to glance over at them, before closing them again- she doesn't even try to speak. Pondflower can tell without even having to look at her that she's having issue breathing, but with a bit more inspection she guesses that Tilly is suffering from some sort of advanced infection. In the short-term, juniper berries might help, or some mint to clear her airways. In the long term, stinging nettle might help fight the infection. But more than anything she'll need direct fresh air and food to keep her strong to fight against it- and even then, she seems fairly far gone. She might not make it even with perfect circumstances.

kiwi cheesecake That's adorable, I'm sure she'll turn out a great Clan cat ;u; Harestar and Icepelt head out for a patrol- but as they near the thunderpath, they see a white cat leisurely walking along it, apparently not bothered by the threat of monsters. True, in most seasons they don't come this way- but in greenleaf it's quite common, and so this seems a little strange and dangerous. When the cat catches eye of the clan cats, however, they change their direction, strolling right up to the very edge of the border before stopping. "Greetings," they speak, holding their tail up high. "Are you interested in learning something new this day?" Icepelt recoils a little, seeming suspicious. "What's with this guy, Harestar?"

"Hey!" Waspmouth calls over the brook, just as the younger cat attempts the jump- they fall directly into the water, squealing loudly as it soaks into their pelt. Thankfully there's no real danger in it; The water is shallow here, and the currents aren't quick enough to whisk the young cat off of their feet. Waspmouth doesn't seem to care too much, only continuing to speak as the older cat helps the younger one out of the water, and then hops to the BrookClan side of the bank. "What are you two doing here? You're about to stray into BrookClan territory." The older cat looks mildly annoyed. Waspmouth's charisma revealed: -3 "Yes, I noticed, thanks." He turns back to the younger cat, encouraging again for them to hop across- "Come on, Dodger, you can make it across. The worst you'll get is another splash of water." "Why are you here?" Waspmouth continues, pacing toward the older cat. "Because this is BrookClan territory. You're the newest ones, aren't you?" The tom pauses as the younger cat hops across, giving her a few licks over the top of her head. "Great job! See? I told you you could do it."

CreamCrow Pondflower takes awhile to describe juniper, mint, and stinging nettle to the tom- and where the might find them. And then, how he might be able to keep Tilly alive- with rest, fresh air, and food. "Do you have anyone who can hunt for her?" She finishes, and the tom gives an enthusiastic shake of his pelt, seeming livelier than ever. For the first time, he had some idea on what to do. "Yes- I can hunt for her. And I'll try to figure out how to get her out of here- it might be hard, she... She hasn't gotten up in a few days," he explains, but quickly changes the subject- tries to stay more positive. "If this works, we might be able to start healing everyone, you know? So many cats die just like this, and this means... We might be able to do something about it other than just sitting around, hoping for them to get better." He pauses, leaning down to give Tilly a few gentle licks of his tongue, before hopping down off of the platform. "Come on, I'll show you out back- You can take as much of our plants as you can carry. I'd offer to help you back, but... I don't know if I've got the strength to go very far, and even if I did, I'm one of the healthier cats here."

CreamCrow Pondflower follows the tom as he leads her down the stares, through the den. She can easily hear more wheezing from the cats around her, and a few quiet voices, but none of them approach or ask who she is. "So-" Pondflower starts, about to address the cat only to realize she doesn't know his name. "Um..." "Uday," he offers, hopping over the gap in the steps again. "Right. Uday. See, I come from a clan- A group of cats, with a leader and warriors, and a medicine cat- that's what I am, if you remember," she explains. "If you want, you could talk with Dewstar- my leader- and we could see if you could all stay in camp for as long as you need to. We have more prey there- outside of the twolegplace- and there's no confined spaces that will trap in illnesses." Uday seems to consider it for a long few moments as they walk, going silent, and then- "How far away is it?" "On the other side of the twolegplace. Just outside of it," Pondflower explains. "It's quite a ways, so it might cause issues, but..." "I don't know if we can do that. Most of us aren't well enough to make the trip out to a few dens down and back, much less all the way across the twolegplace." He comes to a stop at another opening in the wall, smaller than the last one, and just barely manages to pull himself through. "Besides, this... This has been our home for as long as any cat can remember." Pondflower pushes her own way through, shivering as she breathes in relatively fresh air once more. She'd gotten used to the stench of sickness and overcrowding while inside. The entire yard is filled with catmint, growing tall and well- it swarms the yard, clearly not having been picked in a long time. It would be enough to cure several clans of greencough, but she would surely not be able to carry that much back tonight. "Well, I understand if you don't think it's something you can do, right now. But you're always welcome to seek us out- You'll easily be able to smell our borders if you ever come around, and if you wait outside of them, one of our warriors will escort you back to camp." "Thank you for the offer, Pondflower. And you're always welcome to come back here, of course." Is there anything else Pondflower should do before she leaves?

~Half-Moon Gathering~ The half-moon was yesterday! The medicine cats are returning from their trip, separating and giving murmured goodbyes as they head back to their clans. Bitterleaf and Shrewtail look forward to meeting each other again- They discussed herbs and which ones might be best to collect before greenleaf is over. Tinyburr and Redstripe couldn't stop talking on the way to the moonstone, even getting into some really personal stuff. Already, they seem to be becoming friends, and are a little remorseful about having to leave one another. With the gathering over, the medicine cats consider the events that happened tonight. BogClanPollen-noseBitterleaf dreamed that he was scaling a wondrous cliff, to find at the very top more food than he could ever hope to eat. At first, he considered that this might just be what StarClan lives like- but it felt almost too real for that, with no StarClan warriors there to greet him.
Bitterleaf thinks they could try to find this place, if BogClan is ever desperate for food.
BrookClanPenguin ~ ❄Tinyburr didn't notice anything strange in his dreams- He only had a quiet talk with an old StarClan cat, perfectly normal.
DawnClankiwi cheesecakeShrewtail had a long, drawn-out conversation with a StarClan she-cat, seeming casual in every way. She only seemed to want to ask small-talk questions to him; "How has your clan been making do?" "There's a new apprentice, isn't there? I'm sure she'll do a wonderful job." "I hope you've had luck finding herbs; Make sure to look out for as much as you can while it's still greenleaf."
It's only as they're parting that anything sticks out to Shrewtail- a gentle expression on the she-cat's face, just barely faded and dusted with stars.
"When your daughter comes," she speaks, voice a gentle whisper, "I will watch over her just as I have watched over you. Treat her well, Shrewtail, and she will become a healer to rival the great ancients."
"What- I... I don't have any children, though. I'm not going to have any children," Shrewtail insists, seeming confused. "Please, tell me what you mean- Will this cat be my kin, or only feel like she is?"
But the StarClan cat is already fading, and does not answer Shrewtail's question before he wakes. He is only left to wonder if "daughter" is some metaphor, or if the she-cat is trying to imply he'll have kits of his own.
DimClan
blueheartMorningfern recalls easily a big burly tom, looking so battered and looming that she should be terrified, yet exuding only a gentleness she had never felt before.
"You must understand, Morningfern," the tom told her. "Your clan is nothing but a group of kits, young and naive- and while that had many advantages, you must keep an eye on all of them. Your leader, and by extension, your entire clan, will need your guidance to grow strong and reliable."
HailClantinybreezeOddnight can't even seem to get to sleep; No matter how hard she closes her eyes, or how still she makes her breath, she can't manage it.
MountainClanstonekeeperRedstripe doesn't dream, this time. It's only a black nothingness, and in an instant it seems like he's waking up again.
SeedClanCreamCrowPondflower doesn't manage to dream this night. Instead, she simply gets a restful sleep, with no particular inkling from StarClan.

"This sounds like a trick, Harestar, we shouldn't listen to this kind of ridiculousness." "No, I'm being honest," the cat insists, although doesn't actually seem annoyed at the hostility. "I can give a new understanding of your natural abilities to you, for only a small price." The cat is offering to reveal your cat's stats in exchange for food. They will reveal one stat (which you choose) for 1 meal, or reveal all of one cat's stats for 4 meals. Note that you need 5 meals to feed all of your cats this moon.
Shrewtail heads out to collect herbs- Nothing too interesting happens, but he does bring back: 5 doses of ferverfew (helps with fever and headaches.)
