stonekeeper Redstripe takes some extra time to plant an herb of each type in the little gardening area, getting them all set up and tending to them nicely. It takes some effort, but it'll hopefully be worth it. Redstripe has 0 actions left this moon.

Tonight (technically tomorrow? Like an hour from now) is the half moon! Which in game-terms means that there's about one irl day before the Full Moon. This full moon will be on the 18th, posted roughly around 12AM EST.
All non-injured, non-sick medicine cats will automatically head out to the medicine cat gathering today, the result of which will be posted sometime on the 17th.
Leaders should choose sometime before the 18th who's going to the gathering as well!
Cats who go to the gathering may interact with and become friends with cats from other clans, and will also be representing your clan as a whole! If you don't pick any cats to go, by default only your leader and deputy will attend.
Note that none of this interferes with regular events and actions, because you can assume that actions mostly happen on different in-game days from each other, simply within the same moon.

CreamCrow Pondflower figures out the problem pretty immediately- the berries are probably too large for the kit, and it's probably too draining to try to chew thoroughly right now. "You should take a leaf and crush the berries on it," Pondflower suggests, glancing around to figure out how she might be able to demonstrate. She moves to pull a leaf off a bush, rather small but good enough, and returns to show them how to crush the berries. "That way, it'll be easier on her throat, and she won't have trouble swallowing." Uday brightens up a bit at this information, enthusiastic purr bubbling up in his throat. "You see? She's brilliant, I told you. That's great!" Quincy reaches out a paw to pull the leaf holding the crushed mixture toward her, nudging the little kit toward the leaf and murmuring sweet encouragement. The kit licks it down, not seeming to have all too much trouble. "We'll just have to see if she can keep it down," Quincy comments, giving a slow nod to Pondflower. "Thank you for your help regardless, though. We all owe a great debt to you, if this ends up saving us."

((Just realized I've been using the wrong pronouns for Sunstar all this time, whoops...))
Sunstar should back down a little and explain that he wasn't trying to frighten the she-cat, but she did want to see if she had friends she was bringing the rabbit to. She's clearly in need of help, though, so she should ask the she-cat's name and offer to let her come back to camp if she wants to -- She'd have reliable shelter and food, and once she recovers, she'd be an asset to the Clan; she's clearly a great hunter if she can take down a rabbit and lead her on this chase in her current state.
As for the Gathering, she and Nightwhisker will attend, and Sandbreeze as well. Cinderstripe will stay back to guard the camp. If this cat accepts the offer, I'll decide about her later.

~HalfMoon~ The Half Moon gathering has ended, and the medicine cats are returning to their respective clans now, murmuring to each other as they separate. Hailcloud brings together a couple of the other newer medicine cats, Nettlemist and Blackpelt, and the three of them stick together for their first trip. Oddnight and Pondflower both quietly wonder to eachother whether they'll be able to dream tonight. They didn't know anyone else had that problem, last time. BogClanBitterleaf finds nothing of interest in his dreams. A small chat with some StarClan cat of very little importance. BrookClanTinyburr meets a large, battle-scarred she-cat. Her ears battered, an eye gone along with half her face, a tail broken in several different directions. She dips her head as Tinyburr enters what could only be her den, and then begins to speak. "I fear you'll soon be tangled up with outside forces. Is compromising the very nature of the clans worth avoiding such an early battle, I wonder?"
Tinyburr tries to ask her what she means, but she stands as soon as the other's voice starts up- "It's a choice you'll have to make for yourselves. But beware dangerous ideologies, Tinyburr. Those who fear nothing will also stop at nothing."
Tinyburr's connection revealed: +1 CloveClanSweetwolf doesn't have a very important dream, but does enjoy the company of some nice StarClan cats.
Sweetwolf +1 morale CraterClanHailcloud might have dreamed something important, but doesn't remember it now. DawnClanShrewtail gets to sleep without any trouble, but doesn't dream of anything interesting. Instead, Shrewtail spends time searching for the cat from last time. No luck, though. DimClanMorningfern meets a pretty she-cat and explores the StarClan forest, but can't remember her name after waking. FieldClanSandbreeze speaks to a very motherly she-cat, who speaks in gentle tones and always seems to brush pelts.
"You feel it too, don't you? Who could it possibly be?" the she-cat asks suddenly, quiet for only a moment before continuing- "I hope such a large litter will survive through leafbare."
"Someone's having kits?" Sandbreeze wonders, confused. No one even seemed to be mates yet.
"There will be kits by the end of leaffall, Sandbreeze. I swear by it," the she-cat responds.
Sandbreeze's connection revealed: +2 HailClanOddnight gets to sleep, this time. But nothing too interesting happens- a meal with a couple of friendly StarClan cats. MountainClanRedstripe barely remembers his dream, but he knows that it's urgent. Recalls a serious voice speaking to him, and a few choice words.

Do not fail in this NightClanBlackpelt dreams of a great journey, with some sort of treasure at the end. After waking, though, the memory of the path is already gone. PineClanFrostleaf can't find the right place to fall asleep, and spends the whole time tossing and turning. SeedClanPondflower finds herself discouraged as, once again, she's able to speak to no cat of StarClan.

Pondflower's connection revealed: -3 ShroudedClanNettlemist has a quiet chat with an old StarClan tom, who seems to greatly enjoy the company. He's almost entirely see-through, and if it weren't for the far-away, echoed voice, Nettlmist might not even realize he was there.
"I'll tell you this, Nettlemist- I will fade tonight. I have been forgotten by all cats alive today, and I can feel it will happen now." There's no sorrow in his tone as he continues- but maybe hope. "Maybe it's a lot to ask, but when the time comes for your Clan to flourish, and kits are abundant, if you could allow me to be remembered through name I would be overjoyed."
"I do not know what happens after a fade," he continues, voice very far away now. "But I would like to think I could live again, after so long."
When Nettlemist awakes, she recalls only part of the tom's name; Stream. |

CreamCrow "Of course," Pondflower agrees, dipping her head to the mother- Then, she turns to Uday, finding that Alma has gone off somewhere else. Oh well. "Is there anyone else who might need help?" "Well, if I'm honest there are a lot of cats I'd like a check on. Just watching you work would teach me a lot," Uday explains, glancing around at all the cats out here. "I know it would be a lot of work, and we don't have a lot to offer, but I swear to you if you continue to help us like this despite all that, we will be forever indebted to you and your people. Not that there isn't a lot of debt to pay to you already." He stands, but doesn't walk- seems to be trying to decide which cats to focus on, here. "Do you want to spend the night helping? I don't at all want to impose. You really have done a lot already." If Pondflower decides to do any more work, it'll take an extra action and exhaust her, giving her penalties until she can get a rest. Should she still help out?

legendarymanpig Scorchingstar gets a little closer to the cats, just as the smaller of the two flings herself off the ledge, rolling and landing clumsily on the spot below. She doesn't seem bothered, though. "Beat that, you big sack of fur!" The cat still at the top- a big, long-furred tom- huffs at the taunt, backing up to fling himself further than the she-cat had. He tumbles down several ledges, hissing in pain as he lands at the bottom of the slope. Scorchingstar is fairly sure she heard a "crack" there somewhere. "What's going on here?" Scorchingstar questions, skeptical. The she-cat makes several smaller jumps and tumbles to reach the bottom, as well, without the apparent injury. "We're just diving," the she-cat comments, licking a paw and drawing it over her face. She doesn't seem even slightly bothered by her friend and his tender paw, which he lifts carefully and holds above the ground. "Testing our bravery," the tom agrees. His voice is gruff and stern, but his body language is fairly neutral. These two don't seem hostile.
Hailcloud decides to risk looking around in the old twoleg garden. It's mostly weeds; Thistles that tug at Hailcloud's pelt and dandelions that tickle the nose. Hailcloud does find a couple of raspberry bushes, though, and collects some of the leaves. CraterClan +10 raspberry leaves (eases pain, less effective alternative for cobwebs)
Hailcloud has 0 actions left this moon.If Hailcloud wanted to take on the work of weeding and upkeep, this spot could be used to grow some herbs.

~Dappleheart~ There aren't really any wrong pronouns to be found in this game! I put "chomosomes" and not "gender" on their profiles specifically because you can call them by whatever you want. Trans and non-straight cats are totally cool as far as this games goes, so it's totally up to you what you want to call them!
So like if you want to go with Sunstar still being a "he" that's really no problem whatsoever. Sunstar slides to a halt, keeping a neutral posture and not progressing toward the she-cat. If nothing else, she's awfully fit for someone who looks like she's starving. "I wasn't meaning to frighten you," Sunstar tries to explain. "I just wanted to see if you had friends you needed the rabbit for." "Ha! You could've asked that before you tried to take something I'd caught perfectly fairly!" The she-cat's tone is still scathing, tail-tip flicking back and forth in an irritated fashion. "Oh come on. What's your name? We can be friends here," Sunstar tries to reason. The she-cat narrows her eyes, still looking about ready to bolt in the other direction. But she doesn't. Not quite yet. "My name is Constra. My friends wouldn't take the food I'd caught for myself- this is for my children, if you must know." "Well, Constra, if you'd like you're welcome to come back to my clan's camp for awhile. You'd have reliable shelter, food- we can help each other," Sunstar explains, taking a step forward. Constra steps back just as quickly, tensing up once again. For a moment, she looks like she's about to refuse the offer. But then she takes a deep breath, glancing at the rabbit. "My kits- There are four of them. They eat fresh-kill now. Will there be enough for them as well?"

It's the night of the full moon! All the clans are beginning to crowd into the gathering place, but first: Game News:- Some updates to wording on the main info post. - Added an indicator in the main post for what season it is. - Added a section about genders, chomosomes, and mates to the "how to play" section of the first post. For anyone who wants to look, it's at the very end. TLDR is; Chromosomes don't dictate what pronouns you have to call your cat and they're pretty much there for "who can have kits with who" purposes. - In addition, I've also added a "pronouns" field for each cat, just so I can easily keep track of which pronouns people have used for which cat. - It is now the first moon of Leaffall- Victor's Item Hunt has been updated for the new season, and now has new stock. - Not actually game news, but I started a reader-interactive comic here on the forums earlier this week, if anyone's interested.
SeedClan and ShroudedClan get to the gathering first, settling down to speak and wait for the other clans. SeedClan has only brought their deputy and leader, but Leafheart is quick to socialize despite the small size of their group, while Dewstar sits back to simply observe. Leafheart dips her head to Flickerstar, motions poised and respectful. "Do you mind if I sit here?" she wonders, getting a curl of the tail from Flickerstar to allow her more room to sit down. "How's SeedClan been, then?" Flickerstar wonders. "Just fine, thank you. And ShroudedClan?" The two she-cats small-talk like this for awhile. Leafheart and Flickerstar are now distant acquaintancesCraterClan has arrived by the time Flickerstar and Leafheart have finished their chat, Blazingwillow settling down beside Scorchingstar. Neither of them look very good; A little too thin. Nettlemist opts to chat with Hailcloud- another medicine cat, and already a friendly face after the Half Moon. "What's up with them?" Nettlemist murmurs, glancing at the new arrivals. "Has there been sickness in your clan?" "No," Hailcloud assures. "Just a bit of bad hunting- we're not doing all that horribly, I promise." The two medicine cats chat for awhile, wondering who else will show up. Nettlemist and Hailcloud are now friends.MountainClan and FieldClan seem to arrive at nearly the exact same time, leaving a lot of cats to squeeze through the entrance all at once. It makes Nightwhisker stumble, knocking into Redstripe and nearly knocking him over. Thankfully, Nightwhisker is quick to correct for his mistake, swerving around the small tom and keeping him upright. "Sorry about that one," Nightwhisker laughs, not all too embarrassed. "I guess we probably should've waited for you all to be inside before we entered." "No, no, that was definitely my fault- You're so tall, I thought I'd be able to get under you," Redstripe explains, walking at Nightwhisker's side into the clearing. This starts a nice enough conversation, until Nightwhisker has to part in order to sit with Sunstar. Redstripe and Nightwhisker are now friendly acquaintancesIt takes the other clans a long while before they get in, bringing with them only leaders and deputies. By the time they get there, there's no time for more talking, and the gathering starts. Announcements made:- BrookClan's newest apprentice, Dodgepaw, has started training Other notes for specific clans about next moon:BogClanYou had no food left, and so most of your cats have been moved to stage 2 starvation. CloveClan You had no food, and so all of your cats are now at stage 1 starvation. CraterClan You only had 2 meals (mostly because of bad hunting luck,) so 2 of your cats were not fed and are at stage 1 starvation. Because you have no queens, kits, or elders, it was randomized.
The starving cats are: Scorchingstar and Blazingwillow DawnClan You only had 1 meal left, and so all your cats except for Sunpelt are now at stage 1 starvation. MountainClan You've received 1 piece of prey from Booter and Scooter this moon.
PineClan You only had 1 meal left, so everyone but Frostleaf is at level 1 starvation. |

AmoraGiven the Clan's luck with finding food so far, I'm not sure Sunstar can promise everyone will be stuffed. But the kits will be fed first, as is Clan law, Sunstar will make sure of that. No kit in her Clan will starve. And, between the larger numbers and the medicine cat, they will have a better chance at survival if they join than if they don't. Constra can think it over if she wants, the offer will remain open. If Constra wants to see the camp and learn about Clan life before she makes her decision, that's fine as well.

It might be a lot of work, but I'll get rest when I return back to my clan," Pondflower assures, taking a deep breath and preparing herself for work. It takes pretty much all night for her to check up on everyone out here- not to mention to show Uday the proper techniques to help them. And even when she's done here, there are still cats left inside- She hasn't seen Tilly anywhere. There's no way she can excuse helping possibly countless others, though. SeedClan will be worried about her otherwise. "You look dead tired," Uday comments, startling Pondflower with a nudge. "You should get some rest before you head back home- I think I can handle myself for awhile, after all this. If there's anything you want to take back with you, just let me know."

~Dappleheart~ "No cat in my clan will starve, I swear to you," Sunstar assures. The she-cat seems to deliberate it, glancing from the rabbit out into the field now. Sunstar decides to keep talking. "And with numbers, there is strength. We all work together- and we all protect our young. We even have a medicine cat, who can keep them healthy. If you want to think it over, that's okay, too." A deep breath, then she speaks- "Allow me the rabbit now, to feed my children. If you'd be feeding them anyway, you shouldn't miss it," she reasons. "Then, when I can be sure we have protection and the strength for the journey, I will bring my kits with me to your border. We will wait there for you." There's no way to ensure that she will actually do this, and she gives no specific timeframe, but Sunstar believes that she's telling the truth about waiting for a FieldClan patrol. Does Sunstar accept?

"It's not the most obvious way of doing it," he confesses. "But to leap head-first into danger and survive; It is bravery. It conditions you to be unafraid of death, and to know how close you can come to it without giving in." "And without all the poetry of all that," the she-cat puts in, giving her friend a nudge, "surely you must know the rush you get of a potentially dangerous situation, and going for it anyway? It's a thrill, you know?"
Hailcloud decides to remember this place and return next moon. This action was from last moon, and doesn't effect Hailcloud's current actions.Now, in the new moon, Hailcloud heads back out to start the process. With one action, they're able to clear enough weeds to make room for 4 different herb plots, which they can plant any herbs they currently have inside. It's a lot of work, and will take a lot of upkeep, but this area can be expanded to plant even more herbs later. For convenient reference, CraterClan has these plantable herbs currently: 3 doses of thyme (Calms nervousness, anxiety, and shock) 1 dose of goldenrod (helps heal wounds)

AmoraSunstar should allow her the rabbit for her kits. If she believes Constra is telling the truth, then I see no reason to suggest she shouldn't accept the loner's terms. This is all in the last moon, yeah? Once this is wrapped up, how're my clan doing for the next one?
