stonekeeper Roseshine goes out to hunt, managing to catch a fat rabbit and a mouse. Nothing too strange seems to happen, and this should be enough to fill a good few bellies. MountainClan +4 meals added to the fresh-kill pile. Roseshine has 0 actions left today. If she does anything more, she'll be overworking.Meanwhile, Redstripe goes out to search for herbs. He finds: 2 doses of sorrel (builds up appetite, used as a traveling herb)
1 dose of hemlock (poison; causes convulsing, foaming at the mouth, possible death)
2 doses of ferverfew (helps with fever and headaches.)Just as he's about to head home, Redstripe spots a patch of Lamb's Ear growing nearby, but it's down a steep ledge. He can get down there safely if he takes his time (and lose an extra action), try to take a riskier way and risk injury, or ignore the patch altogether.

(Ask her about her situation first- why is she desperate for food? Is she starving? Does she have family she needs to bring it back to? Is she sick? These could all be crucial factors. After he figures out these details, Shrewtail should bring the she-cat along to find Sunpelt and Icepelt, and check for their approval as well.) As Shrewtail rattles off questions to her, the she-cat looks nervous, but she does answer the question. "My housefolk have been gone for so long- they haven't been around to feed me, and I'm no good at hunting. I've been able to catch a few things, but not enough to keep me well-fed. I don't think my housefolk are coming back and- and I don't really know anyone else. I stayed in their den all the time before this happened." Soon, the she-cat is following Shrewtail to find his clanmates, her paws shuffling nervously in the dirt as they look her over. Icepelt has a single, small mouse, while it looks like Sunpelt has managed a shrew. "Well, if we think there's enough food to spare we could at least give her a chance," Sunpelt offers. Icepelt is quick to chime in, a little suspiciously- "Yes, but she's a starving kittypet as well. Will she really be able to contribute anything?" If she's allowed into the clan, this she-cat will likely have to go through some training to be able to be considered a warrior or a medicine cat. Should the clan accept her? (Right now, we need all the paws we can get. We'll accept her. Even an untrained warrior could prove valuable in time. Also, it would weigh heavy on the cats consciouses if they abandoned her to starve.) |

It takes much longer than a normal herb-hunting expedition would, but when he gets back to camp Redstripe has extra herbs to show for it. MountainClan +3 lamb's ear (Strength herb. When a medicine cat is using their action to treat wounds, you can have them give this to someone to give them +1 action.)

Harestar and Icepelt depart soon after the new arrival, focusing namely on marking borders and, if they happen to find anything, catching prey. On their way back, the prey practically leaps into their claws, and both seem to have fantastic luck with hunting. Pretty good, considering they were mostly marking borders. Harestar's perception revealed: +2

"I never thought that the clan cats would be so nice," she explains, as the three of them gather moss for her new nest. "I was so afraid they'd attack me if I came here but- you're all being so nice to me, it's really amazing!" Leaving her with such kindly cats seems to have helped, and by the end of the day she's settling in nicely. Sunpelt, Shrewtail, and Stormfeather are now friendly acquaintances.

stonekeeper Runningstar and Heavywolf head out to hunt, both seeming to have good luck. By the end, Runningstar has grabbed a wren, a mouse, and a blackbird. Heavywolf seems to have grabbed a few fish instead, all small, but making up even more than Runningstar's catch. Nothing particularly interesting seems to happen, although it does take them awhile to get all the fish back to camp. Runningstar's perception revealed: +2MountainClan +8 meals to the fresh kill pile.
Runningstar and Heavywolf now have 1 action left this moon.

stonekeeper With limbs still healing and the territory still new, Honeypaw hasn't been talking much since he's come to camp. Heavywolf comes in while he's snoozing, and Honeypaw startles awake with the sound of her entering. "How are you adjusting?" Heavywolf speaks in a gentle voice, and Honeypaw's startled expression soon relaxes. "It's really weird, I'm not sure I'm used to it. Changing my name, and living with so many other cats." He pauses, curling his tail around himself. "I'm glad you let me stay, though. Thank you for helping me." Honeypaw's morale +1
Honeypaw and Heavywolf are now friendly acquaintances.

~~ Full Moon ~~ Game News:- Two games/activities have now been added and can be checked out on the main post. (Matka's Kit Guess, Victor's Item Hunt) - Slight updates to wording in the "how to play" post to coincide with changes to how stat rolling works. - Added "actions per moon" to each cat in the allegiances. Most cats have 2 actions per moon, but because some traits alter this, I thought it'd be helpful. Clan News:BogClan:It's 1 moon until Milkberry has her kits. Staying in camp would be safest, although she can leave if extra help is needed.
DawnClan:Stormfeather has been fed enough to start training, but only gets 1 action this moon. She's still regaining her weight and strength. MountainClan:Honeypaw's wounds have mostly healed. stonekeeper Heavywolf and Runningstar's patrol isn't all too interesting for the most part, but as they circle around the top of a dirt-and-rock slope, Runningstar halts. With his tail, he gestures down below, where the giggling of young cats is easy to hear. It doesn't take him long to spot a couple of young kittypets, playing outside their twoleg's den. They have a bird between them, batting it back and forth with excited squeals. "Wait..." Heavywolf pauses, sounding concerned. "Is that bird still alive? They're not even trying eating it."
Honeypaw slides into the medicine cat's den, having spent a decent amount of time here already. He still walks a little funny, but no longer seems to have sharp pains every time he stands. "I know you said that I'd be okay to start training soon..." He flicks his ears, awkward and not wanting to insult Redstripe by questioning his word. "I just thought maybe you should take another look, just to be safe." Redstripe can do a thorough inspection (lowers chance of further injury, -1 action for Redstripe) or he can send Honeypaw off without looking, knowing he'll be fine as long as he doesn't strain himself.

CreamCrow Dewstar and Ashenwing make their way out to the border, and everything seeming peaceful until they begin walking and marking along the side of a thunderpath. All seems quiet, but Dewstar stops at a rank stench, tracking it easily to a creature piled up in a heap on the thunderpath. The black-and-gray fur of the creature blows lightly in the wind, its body mangled and unmoving. They could investigate it, but it would require treading onto the thunderpath.

Whisperingflame has less luck, however, returning to Lionstar with empty jaws and a disappointed look. "I didn't have any luck," she explains. "If you want to head back, you can, but I'm going to stay out until I find something." Should Lionstar stick around to keep her company, or head back to camp?
Longdust is walking along the MountainClan border, and comes to a stop at the twoleg den that separates two sides of the border. Just outside, the HailClan side, Longdust spots what looks like a mouse under the shade of a tree. Although close to MountainClan, the twoleg's den is no one's territory. He can likely grab the mouse without any trouble. Should he try?
Oddnight heads out for a patch of Marigold that she'd noticed previously. She's about halfway done collecting it when she notices fox-scent. As she looks up, she sees a red-and-white figure quite clearly staring in her direction. Her gray pelt does nothing to hide her among the bright yellow flowers. What should she do?
