• Prompts are posted on Tuesday afternoons, and you have until the following Monday at 8 PM EST to enter! Judging will follow that evening as close to 8 PM as my schedule allows. Please be aware that I have a job that takes precedence because, y'know, I get paid for that.
• You don't have to ask to enter; just submit by the deadline, and you're in! Additionally, you're never required to submit every week. Submit at your leisure! Prompts are judged on Monday nights, or after there are three entries, whichever comes second.
• There is a maximum word limit of 2500 words, and your entries should be posted in their own thread that you link me to.
• Please keep entries cat-related, as this is a WFF contest series.
• Prompts are given a score from 1-10 based on this criteria. Should there be a tie, the inclusion of the bonus prompt (and the quality of its inclusion) will serve as the tiebreaker.
• Winners receive a main page feature for the week, as well as advertisement for a story or story hub of their choice. Of course, they also receive a ringing endorsement from yours truly.

It's not often a perfect ten rolls through the challenges, but Dingo pulled it off this week. She has a brilliant way with bringing forth a character's emotions, and her sense of weaving their interactions together into a cohesive pattern is brilliant. Not only that, but she excels at angst and fluff alike, this week's entry being a heart-warming example of the latter produced just in time for Pride Month, another delightful aspect of it. Overall, Dingo's entry this week is wonderfully crafted, shot through with deeply real emotion and a dash of hopeful happiness we could all use at the end. Well done! |
