You stumbled as another wave of exhaustion hit you and the snow that was weighing down your fur in clumps grew heavier as the snow drifts got deeper, each one left you buried half way up your flanks. You couldn’t see or hear anything, the howl of the blizzard’s wind drowned out everything else, and your nose stung with each tiny snowflake’s impact on the sensitive skin of your nose. I should’ve hit some kind of life by now, you thought and kept struggling through the snow. You had been in the snow since the first signs of a snowstorm before sunhigh, so you should’ve hit something right? Even the Twolegs who had imprisoned you were better than freezing out in the snow storm, never to see a clear sky again. Your thoughts stopped abruptly as a sharp cracking sound made its way up to your flattened ears and you squinted down at your paws before your eyes widened in horror I’m on a lake! The ice beneath your paws shattered and you plunged into the icy water. “Someone’s under the ice!” You heard a garbled meow a moment later as your mouth, nose, and ears filled with water and you struggled toward the surface, the weight of the snow getting worse as the tips of your fur froze over. “I’ll get Frostblizzard!” Your ears hit the underside of the lake’s thick layer of ice and you clawed at it desperately, blackness starting to creep into your vision and your lungs burned with the absence of air. “Frostblizzard!” A moment later the water around you was disturbed and you managed to catch a glimpse of determined blue eyes and white fur before the blackness flooded your vision and your world went black.
“How is he/she Goldenshine?” An authoritative mew cut through the black shrouding your mind and you inwardly groaned, your body hurt all over and exhaustion made your paws and eyelids heavy, making you want to go back to sleep. “he/she will be fine,” a kind mew purred warmly, “as long as he/she stays here in the den and rests anyway. There are no traces of illness and his/her fur is as thick and wet repellant as our own.” “he’s/she’s lucky that Frostblizzard and her patrol were out there or he/she would’ve drowned.” The authoritative female mew meowed calmly. “StarClan has its way of making sure everything happens according to plan,” the kind mew meowed warmly, “but he’ll/she’ll be fine within a few days, food and rest can heal a lot Snowstar.” “Of course, thank you Goldenshine.” You then felt a soft nose prod your flank, “I know you’re awake, Snowstar wishes to speak with you.” The kind mew meowed gently. You forced your eyes opened and sat up. You blinked slightly in surprise when you found yourself in a cave-like den with a blue crystal catching the light from the sparkling snow outside to illuminate the large den. “Uh… where am I?” You croak before apologizing, “sorry.” You remembered the stories of clan cats that your mother told you and how the leaders had the ending ‘star’ and how they deserved your full attention and respect. “No worries,” the authoritative mew belonged to a long legged, battle-scarred, pure white she-cat with thick fur, a graying muzzle, and sharp leaf green eyes. “You are in IcicleClan, where you are safe from the snow outside.” “Well in camp anyway,” the kind mew belonged to a golden tabby she-cat with thick fur like her leader, warm and distant emerald green eyes, a sign of blindness. A scar also crossed her face that went across her green eyes. “I am Snowstar, and this is Goldenshine, our medicine cat,” the white she-cat mewed and gestured toward the golden tabby with her long tail. “And I have come to give you a choice. You may stay with us here in IcicleClan, or you may stay and regain your strength before you take you down to the Twoleg village at the bottom of the mountains.”
Welcome to the Clan where the cats live in the mountains, where snow is abundant three seasons a year, and where the cats have the ability to form ice and snow paths as they walk! This Clan is a slight fantasy Clan, with their “powers” of forming ice and snow paths as they walk or at will and their ability to make their fur thick and nearly impossible to penetrate with claws or teeth. IcicleClan cats are used to low temperatures and they can survive out in a blizzard for half a moon and perfectly fine, but they are happier when it’s warm, which is why their camp and dens are located inside a mountainside system full of blue crystals that generate heat and light which keep their dens warm and lit up. Other Clan features are that the cats have thin, fur covered, webbing between their paws!

Territory Map Twoleg Mountain Village
The two-leg mountain Village is rather small with it being on the other side of some very tall mountains that block it off from the inhabitants on the snow fields and mountains themselves. Most of the cats that aren't born into IcicleClan come from being captured by the Twolegs who lived in the village above the mountains. Camp Mountains The camp mountains is also commonly know by rogues who call it the crystal cavarns in honor of bright blue shimmering cyrstals that warm and light up the series of caves that the snow dwelling clan live inside ofSnowfields The Snow Fields is a vast stretch of plains that is covered in snow three seasons a year, and when it's not snowed over from the weather, it's snowed over by the apprentices training on it and the consistent running of patrols back and forth across the grassy plains. the Snow Fields take up about two thirds of the territory not including the Dead Forest. The Herb Forest The herb forest in where the medicine cats gather the herbs that can't thrive in their den or the snowfields, it is called the herb forest because every where you look (except for during Leaf-bare) there are herbs of all colors, shapes, sizes, and uses. From the camp mountains to the herb forest and back takes from sunhigh to sunset. The Dead Forest The dead forest is a chilly and sandy dessery surrounded by hills that Dark Forest Cats cannot ecsape. This desert like area with many dead trees and the ruins of an old twoleg village, is rumored to be the place where living cats meet with Dark Forest cats who can not go any further than the hills in any direction. Because of their anger and annoyance at being trapped, virtually all life has been sucked from the previously grassy dip. Pine Island Pine Island is the home of medicine cats, it is where the cats may lap a few drops from a hollow tree that has a scoop where water collects and remains pure before settling in the high branches of the pine trees and sharing dreams with StarClan. With the ground covered in snow, it's much warmer where the coldness of the snow can pierce their thick and nearly waterproof pelts. The Pine Forest is also where Loners are allowed to roam the area close to the edgesThe Pine Forest The Pine Wood Forest is where the clan does most of it's hunting, a two day long trip of hunting, freezing the prey and bringing them back to camp through a long tunnel where the heat from the crystals that surround the fresh-kill pile warm the frozen prey and thaw it out to what it was like before it was frozen. The Pine Wood Forest is also home to where most of the battles happen, due to the border being three days over ground travel from the camp. Twoleg Village at the bottom of the Snow Fields The Twoleg Village located at the bottom of the snowfields is a no go zone, the Twolegs there despise cats and the leader of IcicleClan lost her mate to a particularly violent Twoleg who attacked a border patrol. Since then, the border has been moved to where the oak trees grow and no further. Ice Sheet Lake Ice Sheet Lake is the lake that surrounds Pine Island, it's called Ice Sheet Lake because the moment something disrupts it's normal soft waves lapping against the shores, it'll freeze over with a thin clear sheet of ice, giving the appearance of a shimmering, not at all moving, lake. Camp Map Leaders Den The Leader's Den is a wide spaced den with a packed dirt floor and blue crystals lining one of the walls. The den is relatively empty, with nothing besides a mossy and feathered nest tucked up against the crystals, the icey arches of an entrance, and the thick bramble screen that cuts the den off from it's two entrances. The den is lit up by a small crack of sight that shines down on the crystals, producing enough light for the den to be lit up nicely.Medicine DenThe medicine den is bigger than every den besides the warriors den. The den is split in two large halves, one half is part of a large tunnel where they grow snow dwelling herbs that they use most often, the tunnel has a hole in the roof that allows light to spill down and reflect of the crystals inside the tunnel. The other half is the main den that has a packed dirt floor that is covered in soft moss for the injured. The back wall has blue crystals scattered along its stone texture and a tiny stream emerges from the wall and into a large dip that forms a pool where the medicine cats can use the water for sick and injured cats. The light in that half of the den is from cracks in the walls that shine light on the crystals and the water, making the den have small waves of light that ripple softly and give the den both a warm and a calm atmosphere. One corner of the main den has mossy nests on top of blue crystals, where the medicine cats sleep if there are no injured cats. Near the pool there is another mossy nest where Goldenshine in particular, likes to sleep with her nose touching the clear water.Main Clearings The main clearings are a set of three clearings that connect all of the dens through thin tunnels or direct entrances. The first clearing, is the clearing where the three main entrances to the camp are located and where the floor is lined with blue crystals on the edges where the crystals ward away the tunnel chills and warm the warm for returning cats. The second clearing is the main connection clearing, it has crystals peppering the cave walls and is the only entrance to the warriors den besides the apprentice den. The third clearing is home to the hunting tunnel and the fresh kill pile. The fresh kill pile is a small pile of snow that strangely isn't affected by the crystal's heat, where the clans fresh kill are kept during the night before they are moved to a small dip lined with moss that lay on top of lots of crystals that slowly warms up the prey during the day for the clan to eat.Common Prey

Leader Snowstar is the leader of IcicleClan and she is 58 moons old. Snowstar is a long legged, pure snow white she-cat with many battle scars, a graying muzzle, and intelligent and sharp leaf green eyes. She is calm, level headed, very much a thinker, and does everything she can to her clan. She tends to be seen as a little intimidating with her many scars from battles in her youth and rather calm and unruffled personality. She has long limbs, good for leaping up into her den and jumping into the trees to shake snow down onto their enemies.Frostblizzard is her only daughter and her mate was killed in a border skirmish before she became a leader. Tigercry
Deputy
Open Medicine Cat(s) Goldenshine is a 30 moon old she-cat who is a medicine cat for IcicleClan. Goldenshine is gentle, kind, and treats the entire Clan like they are her kits. Goldenshine may be gentle but she can be very assertive when it comes to stubborn patients who refuse to listen to her directions. Goldenshine's temper doesn't really make itself apparent more often than not and she'd much rather urge the stubborn warrior or apprentice to listen to her guidance when they are injured or feeling down. If Goldenshine hadn't been blinded by a mountain lion she would've been a warrior and a mother.Goldenshine is a golden furred she-cat with a tan underbelly, tail tip, paws, and eat tips. Her golden fur is splattered with white splotches that give her fur a golden snowy look, she also has a large white spot around one eye and along with all of the toes of her paws. She has emerald green eyes that are rather distant and slightly dull from her blindness born from when she was attacked by a mountain lion. She has been blind since she was a kit and escaped the camp mountains. Tigercry Open Medicine Cat Apprentice
OpenWarriors
Shadowpelt is a 21 moon old tom warrior. Shadowpelt is friendly towards his Clanmates, if nothing else. Although he tends to be pretty harsh on himself, the young warrior does his best not to let his negativity effect how he treats the rest of the Clan. Usually he comes across as pretty awkward and timid, but he is fiercely loyal to IcicleClan. Shadowpelt would give anything to ensure the safety of his Clanmates. Shadowpelt has a rather small, wiry frame, being built more for agility and speed than brute strength. His name comes from his glossy black pelt. His green eyes are typically the only thing that can give away his position in the dark. He is a skilled hunter due to his natural tendency towards stealth. He struggles to fight fairly, as he is smaller than most other warriors, being only slightly larger than the average apprentice. b1oodyface Frostblizzard is a 25 moon old she-cat warrior who’s usually hunting and out and about. Frostblizzard is a very level headed she-cat with an attitude and tends to ooze a cool determination to do her best that matches her snowy coat. She tends to be slightly withdrawn from other cats, but she isn't mean, or grumpy, rather she's a little indifferent and sarcastic. She is often annoyed by special treatment because her mother is the clan leader, but if you don't give her special treatment and don't have a history of doing it, she's quite the sociable she-cat and would gladly goof off in the snow while out hunting or patrolling. With that being said, she is extremely driven and hardworking, she puts her best paw forward no matter what. Frostblizzard is a young, slender, light gray furred she-cat with long limbs, a thick fluffy tail, and overall thick nearly waterproof fur. Her light gray fur would be like a sheet of fog if it were not for the many spots and almost swirls of white that give her fur the appearance of a snow storm. Her paws and tail tip are completely white along with the top of her head which looks like she's had a bunch of snow dropped on top of her, besides the light gray diamond around one eye. Like her mother, Frostblizzard has a very good grip on her ability to make icy and snowy pathways, she can use it to create thin platforms for her to jump up on top of for a few seconds before they shatter into snowflakes. She doesn't have many friends and remains more of a respected outcast despite her young age. Because of that, she doesn't stay long in the camp, preferring to stay out in the snow where she can hide and blend in with the cold outside world. TigercryLoudsky is a 23 moon old she-cat warrior who is currently expecting kits which she is in the dark about. Loudsky is loud and outspoken. She likes to argue and makes a point to be heard. She is bold and outgoing and likes to be right. She loves to be the center of attention and can't be without another cat. Loudsky is a silver-gray tabby she-cat with emerald green eyes. The gray is her base color and the silver is in tabby stripes and tabby markings around her eyes. She has white paws and a white splash on her chest. Loudsky has narrow features and dainty paws. Her tail is very long and plummy and she has a white patch over one eye. Both her eyes seem to be outlined in black like eyeliner, with three small dots under her eyes. Her eyes are emerald but have a slight tinge of amber in the outside ring. She can be a little brassy and rude because she doesn't know boundaries that well. She also has a little bit of anxiety when she is alone. Littlesong42Aprentices

Cats Outside of the Clan Yarrow is a 31 moon old Tomlo. Yarrow has been on his own for most of his life, and as a result he tends to be quiet. When he does open his mouth Yarrow is soft-spoken and shy. He has a rather short temper and isn't afraid of a fight, but usually wouldn't be the one to throw the first blow. Despite his temper, Yarrow wishes for company and becomes rather upset when others react negatively upon seeing him. He has grown to be a rather large cat. His large frame and powerful muscles make this loner well-suited for battle, but leaves him a clumsy hunter at best. He has a pair of bright yellow eyes that seem to shine when compared to the rather dull color of his pelt. His dusty brown pelt is covered with scars from his past, the most notable being a rather long and jagged scar running down his face that left his left eye damaged. Along with his injured eye, Yarrow's right ear is torn and the tip of his tail is gone. b1oodyface

(Alright.)
Shadowpelt was sitting just outside of the warriors' den, taking small bites out of the mouse he had chosen for his meal. His ears perked up as he heard Goldenshine stepping out from her den, and he stuck his head up to try and see her. The medicine cat had always treated him well, and was probably one of the few cats around camp that he wasn't too nervous to talk to. "H-hey Goldenshine!" the young warrior called out to the blind medicine cat.

Goldenshine's whiskers twitched and she changed her directory from going toward the camp entrance to the young warrior. "Hello Shadowpelt, how's your mouse?" she mewed curiously before she trotted over to the fresh-kill pile and nosed through it for something she wanted to eat before she went to the herb forest.

The tom swallowed a bit of his mouse before answering. "It's f-fine." Shadowpelt looked down at his paws, scolding himself mentally for stuttering again. It wasn't like he couldn't speak properly, he was just rather unsure of himself. "So what are you up to?" This time he spoke a little slower, but made sure everything sounded right.

Goldenshine carefully pulled a medium sized white-furred rabbit from the pile and padded over to the tom, the rabbit held determinedly in her jaws. "I'm planning on heading to the herb forest later," she mewed as she dropped the rabbit and settled down next to it on the rough ground. "what about you? Going on any overnight patrols?"

Shadowpelt shook his head, grumbling quietly as he did so. "No, a-at least n-not that I know of. I should ask Snowstar." Being a young warrior, he was more than just a little bit eager to prove himself to the Clan. If Snowstar would allow it, he would gladly go out on an overnight patrol. "I know I-I'm not t-the strongest warrior around, b-but I still want t-to show I can be useful around here."

Goldenshine purred at his enthusiasm, "just because you're small it doesn't mean that your not strong Shadowpelt, even the youngest apprentice makes the clan stronger." She took a small bite of the rabbit, her green eyes gazing blindly in Shadowpelt's direction, the emerald green pools gleaming with warmth. If she had to choose what her favorite age range was for cats, she had to say new warrior and apprentice, they were usually very excitable and underestimated themselves.

The tom shuffled his paws nervously, but was glad to hear the words of encouragement from the blind medicine cat. "T-thanks Goldenshine." He smiled as he stared down at his paws, imagining himself in the future as a great warrior. All Shadowpelt really wanted was to be find something he was truly good at. Leaning in closer towards Goldenshine, he brushed his muzzle against hers. "I-I appreciate the k-kind words. It's nice t-to have y-you around." He said in his usual soft tone, his gaze still locked on his own paws.

Goldenshine's whiskers twitched at Shadowpelt's movements. "Your welcome," she mewed in her usual kind tone, "even the senior warriors need encouragement sometimes." Her green eyes twinkle, "and they're all 'big and strong'," she mewed in amusement as her tail twitched in light amusement. Just the other day, she had had to deal with a senior warrior complaining about a thorn in his paw, who had whined and complained just like a kit.

Shadowpelt chuckled softly at the notion of the warriors he looked up to needing the same kind of encouragement he did. They probably all felt like I do now at some point... He let out another short chuckle before finishing off the last of his meal. "W-well, I'll s-see you around G-goldenshine. I'm g-going to see if there's a-anything S-snowstar needs me t-to do." He brushed up against the medicine cat once more, then padded off in the direction of the leader's den.

(give me a minute and I'll make a character form for a warrior (Frostblizzard, the warrior in the intro)
Snowstar padded out from her den, her leaf green eyes calm as she observed the rest of the clan, well, the ones in the clearings anyway. Her white coat gleamed brightly in the blue crystal's light, giving the leader a more authoritative and unique appearance.

(Okay!)
Shadowpelt froze for a moment as he saw the leader stepping out of her den. Taking a deep breath to calm himself, he padded closer to Snowstar. The tom forced himself to look her in the eye rather than reverting to his usual habit of staring down at his paws. "G-greetings Snowstar!" He called to the powerful she-car, inwardly cursing himself for stuttering. "I-is there a-anything you need m-me to do?" Despite his best efforts, Shadowpelt still sounded as intimidated as ever. It didn't help that he had always found it difficult to confidently address Snowstar. Still, he hoped she would see how eager he was and give him some sort of assignment.

Snowstar gazed at the young warrior through intelligent leaf green eyes for a moment before she nodded at him, "The fresh-kill pile is getting rather low, how would you like to take a patrol of two cats and go hunt in the pine forest?" She suggested curiously. "The usual patrol is still out on a border patrol and I'm sure you're capable of leading a patrol."

Shadowpelt was beaming as he nodded just about as quickly as his neck would allow. "Y-yes, I-I can! Thanks S-snowstar, you won't be d-disappointed." Despite the nervous stutter, the young warrior sounded rather confident. At least compared to his usual shy, hushed was of speaking. Now he just needed to find another warrior to go along with him, and make sure he didn't screw up leading this patrol. I'm glad we're going hunting. Shadowpelt was still smiling as he began to search for a hunting partner, knowing that this would play to his strengths.

(Check the character post for Frostblizzard's form! ) Froztblizzard slipped in through the hunting tunnel with five mice dangling from her jaws, her light grey and white coat was speckled with snow, making the light gray harder to see and making her look more like her mother. Other than her bright sky blue eyes. She dipped her head politely to her mother before she dropped the mice on the fresh-kill pile and shook her coat free from the snow.

(Seems like fun.)
Shadowpelt watched as Frostblizzard as she padded into camp with five mice. Well, that was that. All confidence from Goldenshine's earlier pep talk was gone. Still, he had a job to do and it seemed Frostblizzard was the only other warrior around at the moment. Smiling weakly, the nervous warrior approached his Clanmate. "H-hello F-f-frostblizzard." His paws weere shuffling again, and his stutter seemed worse than ever. This could definitely have been going better. "I s-see you just g-got b-b-back, but Snowstar w-w-wanted me to t-take out a hunting p-patrol a-and well..." He glanced around the camp to make his point. "N-no one else is a-around, s-s-so would y-you mind?" Shadowpelt sounded more like a scared kit than a warrior, but seeing how skilled Frostblizzard was made him even more nervous than usual.
