Touka’s face twisted as the Doctor spoke, recognizing the wisdom of what she was saying but barely able to resist the temptation of starting something anyway. “Tsk...somehow I think we’ll manage if you ever stop blinking,” she muttered, turning away and stalking past the Doctor, effectively leaving the scenario. Just give me a reason... She still had to follow them into a room, but the pirate’s bad attitude had made it even less of a compelling idea than If was to start with.

Sky chewed her lip. "I don't know. I could try Aguamenti again, but it didn't work as well before. It might try to strike during that time." She looked at her wand in her hand anxiously. "I don't think any dueling spells would work against it, though. I don't even know if it could get hurt, as it's made out of fire. I think. "But also, if we do get past it, we'll have to face the mob. My spells might be better suited there, but it'll just prove their point if we hurt them." Finally, she admitted, "Then, I don't know how many spells I still can do. I'm rubbish with my left hand, and my right one is acting up a lot too. If I keep using it, it'll just get more aggravated." She felt a bit of heat creep into her cheeks. She hated when she felt helpless, and in this room, that was a lot. There were too many factors to add in, too many things to consider. "Whatever you two think though. I'm good with whatever." She finished her little presentation, looking at Kid and Enjolras expectantly.

Hook kept walking even as he heard Touka speak behind him, forcing himself forward despite how desperately he wanted to turn around and keep the dispute going. As they walked he found he had a hard time exhaling. It was difficult, but if he pretended best he could that Ougi wasn’t the one walking next to him, he seemed to discover the ability to let out his breath. This was similar to what he was used to in a weird, twisted way. He groaned a bit as the student spoke, her voice breaking his attempts to forget her presence. “No,” he sort of huffed. “I needed something to say,” he admitted flatly. He continued on a few more steps before glaring at the girl to his side, “What do you want exactly?” He snapped, remembering back to when she’d tripped him not five minutes ago. The two of them had never really gotten along ever, now that he thought about it, so why she thought she could wander off with him like some lost puppy was a loss to him. “Go find some newbie to harass or something. Touka and Enjolras are in need of more shit starters back there,”

Ougi - Hallway
When Enjolras was next to concede and suggest following The Archanist into a room, Ougi gave Hook a look out of the corner of her eye to see if he would follow their lead. Even though she had just been internally pitying Touka, she didn't have any qualms with what the ghoul said next. In fact, it had been precisely what she had just been thinking. Voicing her agreement further, or even continuing on the topic at all after he gave his excuse would clearly be a step too far though; the pirate was visibly ready to burst from all the restraint. "Oh, I'm not sure about those newbies," she murmured in reply. She continued the conversation as though his question were a serious one and not something rhetorical. "Usually I would." Owning up to her typical newbie harassment. "But the pickings are slim, at least for anything entertaining." Her feet picked up a little more quickly as she kept up, being the shorter one. She was in part running from The Doctor, scared off by that blinker's friendliness and intuition. "But you're acting stranger than I am! Normally you would have snapped twice by now." Oh... that was it. Since he hadn't full-on attacked anyone, Ougi had deemed it safe enough for pestering and questioning. She might as well do it now at least, in case later he changed his mind and reverted to his old ways.

Hook lifted up his good hand to his hair, rifling his fingers through it vigorously for a quick second almost as an alternative to literally shaking himself off. The restraints were still leaving him tense, but now that he was letting himself relax again he couldn’t help but feel disappointed. He’d been close to walking away without confrontation...but it felt like every time things started to escalate he didn’t know how to do anything but keep advancing deeper and deeper. Damn. He still appeared vexed as Ougi took his question seriously, though an eyebrow raised a bit at her comment. “You miss the first bastard or what? I’m surprised I didn’t punch that brat in the mouth.” He muttered, flexing his fingers absently. He shot her a cold look with where she went next with the conversation, again lifting up his lip in an annoyed scowl. “Am I? How about you point that out back there?” He snapped, then threw up his hand in an exasperated sigh. “At least a single damn soul can take any notice - ‘course you got to be crazy as hell.” It was hard to imagine anyone taking Ougi seriously, or if they were it was probably out of some kind of fear, but who else was going to give him a chance?

Hector didn't blame Maladict for this; they were probably better off sticking together anyways. As he watched from the ground, the hawk flashed it's wings as it put on a burst of speed to catch the magpie before it reached Hector. Reacting quickly, the warrior threw the dagger just as the hawk reached its talons out to grab Maladict. It burst into foamy feathers, which began gently floating down to the soapy floor. The dagger sailed through it, seeing as how it was only bubbles, and landed with a ploof! before sinking into the floor. Oops. As Hector's eyes followed the flashing bronze weapon, it was then that he caught sight of the shark fin. Of course.

Ougi's mouth became a straight line when Hook mentioned punching the other blinkers, and she stood a little straighter and more alert just at the thought. At his question she thought for just a moment if she did, just to humor the prompt, but it was an easy enough answer that she didn't. She was just blindly curious toward even the smallest gateways of human interaction, and whatever was going on between the pirate and Touka and Enjolras was interesting enough for her. Maybe this kind of curiosity went hand in hand with the way she didn't always grasp interacting with other people. The looks he sent her way were neutralized, as she hardly ever seemed to even register when someone was giving her angry or uncomfortable body language cues. Her expression was blank in the face of confrontation, like armor. "I'm starting to see that you're upset because you care what they think of you," she murmured thoughtfully, fingers tapping together in front of her from within her sleeves. The cuffs swayed with the movement. "It's all right. They just haven't caught on yet." It was something someone would say as a hopeful reminder, but instead it came out of her mouth in a way that suggested yet would inevitably become never. When he called her 'crazy as hell' she only smiled up at him, presumably affirming it. "So, do you get in the same amount of fights in your universe? I would assume you're the villain, too." I am a villain in my world as well, is what she meant.

Hook looked ahead in surprise at her words, dazed by the preposterous suggestion. “What?” He demanded, “No, shit to what they think, I care about what she thinks - and she’s pissed off because they’re pissed off. So-“ He sharply cut off, deciding he was done sharing with the nut job for now. He huffed in distress again as she failed to reassure him, a sound he seemed to be making a lot this blink. Her question caught him a little off guard, and for a moment he thought about if he wanted to answer or not. Villain was a word he seemed oddly comfortable with, but it seemed to be counterproductive considering his current goal. “Aye, I’m paid to get in these types of fights in my universe, and if I’m not, I have to anyways, or I want to. It’s easier when you’re not surrounded by magical freaks all the time; and everyone else is just as much of an ass as you are.” He rolled his eyes a bit, thinking about how much nicer his chaotic world was. “You...some kind of criminal or something then?” He asked, sort of nervous to know the answer. Ougi had a creepy vibe to her, and being familiar with weirdos didn’t make it anymore pleasant to ask about their deeds.

Ougi's eyes seemed a little more orb-like in that moment, honing in when Hook let a little more information slip. She had an idea of who he was referring to, at least. But it was more interesting that he wasn't changing solely for the other blinkers. He was doing it in spite of them. What does it matter if she's not around? She refrained from saying it aloud, knowing it was a touchy subject and that it would at the very least set her back with her lax interrogation. The student's head nodded when he explained his world, as if he were listing everything she had predicted. "Criminal... Not the perfect descriptor." She opened her mouth as if the word left a bad taste in it, but it was still hardly a movement along her pale face. "I suppose... I might do bad things to get what I want. I prefer to think in terms of casualties rather than anything intentional." As she said it she nearly smirked, but then held it back, bristling as if forcing restraint. Her bangs settled a little farther in front of her face. She became aware of Hook once again. "Not as much anymore. In that way, maybe we're a little alike then." She looked over her shoulder slowly and subtly at that, considering the other blinkers. "I'm less menacing here than in my own universe anyway, so they shouldn't have... much to worry about." It was her way of asking why she didn't get along with anyone else, even in an alternate dimension like this.

"Yeah!" Astolfo casually raised his arms behind his head and reclined back. "I bet any Mage would jealous of powers like that!" Julius mentioning of it being an easy way to kill people made the servant pause. That... Wasn't exactly one of the reasons he'd thought that the Viper's magic was neat, but that worked too... Of course, the second his own powers were complemented, he was beaming again. "R-really?" He asked, his expression becoming one of sheepishness. That was the last thing Astolfo had expected Julius to say, especially after experiencing them first hand. "That was La Black Luna! And yup, that's part of it's main use! Although I've never used it on anybody who wasn't a Servant and seen them survive... It usually just vaporizes them." The Rider froze awkwardly. "Uh... What I mean is you must be really strong to shrug it off like you did!" Reminded him of a young dragon back home? "You know a dragon, too?" Excitement turned to curiosity as Astolfo slowly tilted his head to the side, his pink eyes lighting up like neon city lights. And then the floodgate was opened... "What's he like? Is he big? Or scary? Where does he live? What color is he? I bet-" Luckily for Julius, the servant blinked out before he could cause his fellow blinker to go deaf again. Julius tensed momentarily at the mention of mages. Either her mages were different in her world, or she was just being really nice. He snorted, "No mage would ever be impressed by an elemental. Those bastards are too high horse for their own good." The only exception was probably the old man, but he was a different anomaly all together. He grinned at the mention of others being vaporised by it. No wonder part of his clothes were torn from it. "Now that's even more impressive. I like it." He was wishing even more that he had some kind of power. He'll make sure to remember to ask the old man if he could do anything like that. His grin widened, "Oh, I've yet to find anything that works effectively on me." That wasn't entirely true, Ainoqres would wipe the floor with him. Then again, Ainoqres could probably wipe the floor with even his father. Her enthusiasm was lifting his mood. Before he could answer however, she blinked out. His smile turned into a surprise frown. He was really enjoying Astolfo's company. Soon afterwards, he blinked out.

(Pfft. My calendar is still set to May. As soon as school started I forgot to change it.) The Doctor (reblinked) | Crowded Hallway The form of The Doctor disappeared for a second and then jumped to a different part of the room. It was pretty clear she'd blinked out for a little, since her clothing had shifted from the coat and classic shirt she'd been wearing most of the time (the one with multicolored stripes over the abdomen) and pants to a loose fitting sweatshirt with plenty of folds in the cloth. It all looked like wool, knit in several different patterns and colored a creamy tan. A cup of tea was in her hand. "Oh," she said, seeming a bit surprised as she looked across the hall. "Uh ... this again? We haven't gotten into a room yet?"

Mini Myrnin | Au Room There was a successful distraction for Myrnin to regain his attention. For starters, he hadn't been making much progress on all the fluff anyway. He whimpered a bit, still hungry, as he shifted and looked around. What was going on? Suddenly a lot of shouting had started up. It wasn't because of him, though Hange was looking at him strangely. He turned fully, shoulders hunched, and tried to see what was going on. All he could see was Sandalphon was flying above their heads. From there, Elliot and Hange was blocking his view. He backed up several paces. Something in his mouth moved. The sharp points on his lip disappeared. He glanced in the other direction of the nose and the angel, hearing someone approach. He had some of the same trepidation which Elliot did. "R-rogue Primarch?" he asked, his red eyes glancing around and not sure what he should be looking for. "Who's that?" Then he looked back at Sandalphon and noticed the injuries. He hurriedly turned back to the odd people and bristled. "Hey! Stop hurting him! He hasn't done nothin'!" Said the boy who'd been, just a second ago, biting a dragon who hadn't done anything. Once again, Myrnin looked to Hange for answers, buzzing with his new, distracted worries.

Hange silently watched the scene unfold for several moments, eyes scanning every available detail as they pieced together what was happening. The people shooting at Sandalphon recognized him as an enemy, which meant that this place must be his own world, or at least the House’s approximation of it. But why blink them here? It seemed out of character based on what they knew of the House. Regardless, the situation was quickly spinning out of control. Sandalphon was taking heavy fire already, and the group didn’t look like they were planning to stop anytime soon.
They had been just about to take a step towards the threat when one of the group approached the bunch of them and began speaking - talking about protection, and having attracted the rogue primarch - no, Sandalphon’s attention. “Stay here for a moment,” they told Myrnin softly, patting him on the shoulder. “Keep your head down. I’m going to sort this out.” And with that, they headed over to the one who seemed to be leading the hunting party, hands waving to get their attention. “Hello! I’m afraid there seems to be some sort of misunderstanding - do you lead this group?”

A different member of the skyfarer band, a large man with a pair of horns on his head and pointed ears, answered Myrnin. "'Who's that'? Ya been livin' under a rock, boy? There isn't a single person in the skydoms who doesn't know who the Rogue Primarch is." His gruff voice was less friendlier than that of the younger human who had first greeted the blinkers. As the child protested against what the rest of his squad were doing, he couldn't resist the laugh that erupted from within him. Oh... To be young and oblivious again...
"Ain't done nothing? That thing up there is the reason our world is done for, kid. In my opinion, he deserves far worse then what he's gettin'." The horned man, who's race were called the Draph, said upon composing himself. Jabbing a thumb behind him to point back towards Sandalphon, "It's because of that monster that the islands are all fallin'. Nobody knows why he did it exactly, but he went on a rampage and stole the wings from the Primarchs that held the very elements together. Now that they're gone, the sky's gone to ruin and we all have a date with the earth realm in the near future."
That was the sum of it anyway. There could have been various reasons the boy wasn't aware of things, so the Draph had decided to enlighten him.
---
And if he'd been standing next to the others when the accusations had been thrown at him, Sandalphon wouldn't have denied it. He had done those exact things. They just had been stopped before escalating this far in his, the real, version of the world and anybody had been killed.
It was also something that still haunted the archangel, even after all the time that had passed and people who said they had forgiven him. From his point of view, he still had not fully atoned for his actions. Whenever he could, he took every opportunity that arose to try and remedy that.
This was why the setting the house had dropped them into had bothered the Primarch so much. It was like having salt rubbed into a raw wound. Speaking of wounds...
This dodging game was going nowhere, besides earning him a few lost fathers. Despite this Sandalphon made no effort to fight back, because he knew what was going on. He'd figured it out the second he had spotted a separate group of them running towards his fellow blinkers. The skyfarers were trying to 'help' them, probably thinking that he had been plotting to attack them.
His attackers were simply a bunch of frightened mortals, trying to do what they thought was right and save more of their own from a being they, in this case, had every right to fear. There was no way in his right mind he could attack them back, as it would make him no different then the monster they thought he was. At the same time, the archangel didn't want to sit here and be used as target practice, even if these mortals did deserve a chance at revenge.
A lightbulb flickered on in Sandalphon's mind as realization struck him. While the skyfarers didn't know it, they actually made things easier. After all, the original plan the Primarch had been about to propose to the other blinkers was for them to head to the city. Now they could go there with this group of skyfarers, who could act as guides.
He just had to get their attention off of him so they would play their part. Which would be easier to do if he played his own...
Swallowing his pride, everything after this moment was a plotted act as Sandalphon's demeanor changed into a facsimile of the version of himself that the skyfarers thought they were facing. As he did so, he was purposely making an extremely subtle effort to hinder his dodging abilities, just enough to where they wouldn't catch on he was purposely giving them an advantage. A few more projectiles managed to hit him square in the torso, causing him to dramatically wince again as he was struck and shout out a few quick profanities. It didn't hurt as much as he was trying to make it look, but the goal was for him to seem like he was taking more damage then he actually was. He wanted the skyfarers to think they were driving him back.
The archangel flew backwards a small distance, stopping just past the edge of the island and over the open sky below. From all appearances he was about to dive at his attackers, giving the weapon bearers a feigned look of hatred.
Alright, he was in position. With as must subtly as he could provide, he gave his fellow blinkers an awkward attempt at a thumbs up to tell them not to worry. That was what this hand gesture was for right? He'd seen the other crew members on the Grandcypher doing it a few times.
One final bang cracked the air, the source finding its target in the Primarch's chest as his fake expression morphed into suprise. His red eyes squeezed shut as full blown pain blossomed from the site, actually drawing a genuine reaction from him this time. The shot had managed to strike his core, and while no mortal bullet would be enough to destroy it and kill him, that didn't mean it didn't hurt. His six wings vanished from his back and the angel's body plummeted from the sky like a rock, right past the edge of the island out of sight.
Hopefully the rest of the blinkers had taken the hint to go on ahead...
---
Up on the hill, the attack squad stood there in stupefied shock. Had... They actually managed to drive their foe away? They waited a few minutes with their weapons still at the ready, but the beast didn't return. Finally one spoke up. "He's gone! We showed him not to mess with us!" Cheers filled the air at the victory, even if they knew it was probably only temporary.
"Would you look at that. We actually pulled it off." The young man mused, a wide grin splitting his face as he watched his crew celebrate. "Huh?" One of the civilians was trying to grab his attention, so he turned to oblige. "Hmm. I guess you could say that." He ignored a awkward cough from his Draph compatriot, who was the only actual airship captain amoung them. While that was the case, this young Human was still the designated leader of the party. "A misunderstanding?" He replied to Hange, tilting his head sideways in confusion.
As the young man spoke with Hange, the rest of the gathered crew began to drift back towards the city. They had been just about to end their patrol anyways, and now that they were certain the area was safe and the civilians they had found weren't injured, there was no need for them all to stick around. Before he went to join them, the young human gestured for the blinkers to follow. "Can you elaborate for me? I'll try my best to clear anything up on the way back."

It was odd to him that she preferred the moniker ‘villain’ over criminal. The difference between the two titles seemed to make the odd student’s idea of herself a little clearer to the pirate, especially as she continued to speak. He couldn’t be sure what she got into in her world, but he immediately decided it was no sort of business he was familiar with. Nor wanted to be involved in. He cocked his eyebrow when she compared their situations, shaking his head a little. He looked back as well, frowning at her words. “You’re probably better off keeping out of the way...unless you’ve got some freak shit of your own. Which...do you?” He realized with a jolt he knew next to nothing about the girl he was probably about to do a room with. It was probably in his best interest to figure her out before he inevitably got on her bad side.

Kid | Monster Room | Cloverleaf Auransky zeph!Kid hissed a bit under his breath. Not good. He glanced down. Then up. Then straight ahead. If Sky couldn't do anything, he and Enjolras were sitting ducks. From his brief understanding of vampires, they went up like dry paper when exposed to fire. And currently that seemed to roughly be the same case for Kid. They had to get away from the horse. Hornets as well. He could hear them. "We need to head for the roof," he decided, but glancing at Enjolras for help with the decision. The sewer was to confined. The thing in chains might not be able to climb for all Kid new, but he was betting it could fall. Anyway, the roof was open and worse comes to worse they could jump down. Right here, they weren't going to get anywhere. In a hurried shuffle, he made his way toward the ladder and looked up. Too foggy. He couldn't see very far up. But it would have to do. "Can you get up there?" he asked Sky, noting the fact she had talked about her hands being in bad shape. He wasn't too sure about himself, come to think of it. Could mummies climb? He didn't know of any cases of them doing so. Enjolras should be fine above or below. Right here was where he was in the most danger. With that horse.

( XD Everyone in the chat: HECTOR KICKED A PUPPY) Maladict the magpie spun midair, dodging something which wasn't there anymore. There was a surprised exclamation from his beak as the knife landed in the soap beyond him. There wasn't any time to hesitate, however. Mal spun into a deep dive, pulled up at an angle which pulled at his wings enough to strain and hurt them, before leveling out in an attempt to loose the other bird. The shark, as if in ambush, leaped from the 'water' and Maladict swerved to avoid that. Logically, he should have just changed back into a much larger human, which most birds would have trouble eating. Logic wasn't factoring into Mal's small bird brain. Instead he flew once around Hector, then dived at the remaining puppies with claws out. There was enough logic to understand that the small beasts were easier targets than the larger hunters. Hector could then deal with the large animals. Probably. Maladict's body stretched again and he nearly rolled across the slippery expanse of floor. His movements seemed very awkward. He patted down his clothing once, as if expecting that they would disappear, but they hadn't, and instead he was faced with ... "I think I'm afraid of sharks," he said, darting to the other side of Hector and leaping. He grabbed at the falcon just as if was about to curve away. "I have a sword at my waste if you can use it," Mal said. His fingers, hooked in the same position as the claws they had been seconds before, raked through the bubble falcon. It wasn't a move which would work for Hector unless Hector could deliver a blow which could rip metal in two. "I can't use it," Mal added. Why he had a sword he couldn't use ... was a story for another day.

(no they're still in the hall)
Ougi didn't affirm what she said any further when he prompted her. He could either believe her or not with any of the things she said, but she preferred not to elaborate further on the villain part. She swiftly faced fully forward again when she saw Hook looking behind them too, wondering if he had noticed her doing it. 'Freak'? "Oh, I don't know what you mean," she murmured under her breath, then spoke a little clearer but still within the realm of a mumble, "I'm just a high school student." Her smile and earnest nod to the query said otherwise, but it wasn't a complete lie. When Oshino had called her 'my niece' back then, it turned her into what she had pretended to be for the previous six months: a high school student. In a way, she now actually was what she had pretended to be ever since she appeared in the Paradox House. It could have gone completely unnoticed, and it probably did. The only one who would have been close enough to tell would have been Arthur. But this didn't mean she wasn't still an aberration. Something mythological, and menacing at that. The student narrowed her eyes up at the pirate, her head only slightly turned to him but mostly away. "When you're asking something like that, are you referring more to a person's psychology or a person's physiology?" Seeing as the question had been about her, she was--in a potentially obvious way--turning the question back to something about him.

"Uh ... this again? We haven't gotten into a room yet?" (I might have missed it if they noticed her, so I'll repost. ^^ )

Elliot turned his head to spot Myrnin poking his head through the crossfire. He bit his bottom lip, as a parent would in irritation to a kid not listening to the initial directions. Then again, he never gave Myrnin directions. He stepped back turning his body to directly get his attention across to the kid. "Get down-" He stomped his foot, irritated now. This kid was worse than the fresh meat thrown into the army. At the same time Hange called out to Myrnin, telling the kid to get down. Seeing as Hange was taking charge of Myrnin, he whizzed around once more to return his full attention to the incoming fire in the distance. After a bit of analyzing, it seemed like they were after Sandalphon. Which meant, they should be okay for the time being. Quickly he returned to Myrnin and Hange his attention glimpsing at Rue before refocusing on Hange. Listening to Hange order Myrnin to stand still, he reshifted himself to stand aside to Myrnin. He crossed his arms watching Hange interact with a rather large man, he wasn't human, appearances could confirm that without a second guess. He briefly closed his eyes, listening in on the conversation a few meters away. Yet it seemed like the man in uniform was approaching, with Hange backing up with questions. The man had a gruff voice and seemed to address Myrnin. He couldn't help but slightly push Myrnin a bit behind him, as the man laughed and spoke about oblivious fantasies. Elliot couldn't help but glimpse back and forth between Hange and the uniformed man, then at Sandalphon who was taking fire willingly. He tapped his elbows lightly, as he listened to the conversation take place a few inches away, and the man in the sky. Irritating to say the least.. Yet celebration broke the air, as Sandalphon quickly plunged to the ground far below the floating islands. It couldn't have been that they actually hit him-no.. the Angel didn't seem like the type to fall easily. "Hange." Elliot spoke up without turning his head, from the area in the sky where Sandalphon was at a few moments ago. "Take the group with you, and make sure everyone has been tended to." He was speaking with concern in his voice, though it was a lie-the group wasn't massively injured, maybe a scratch or two, but claiming they might have heavier wounds meant that getting answers would be easier. He pulled out a small green crystal out of thin air, like a coin trick in a magic show. "Call me in a bit." He waved his crystal in his hand before, whipping his wrist in a circular motion making it disappear as a magician would to a coin. Without another word, he stepped off heading towards the direction all the crossfire had been initiated. He didn't care what the individuals in uniform had to say. Regardless of where they were, and where they were headed; Elliot wouldn't let anyone talk down to him.

Hook listened with dubious attentiveness, doing his best to analyze her words. She spoke in a way that brought sport to her lies, like it was her intention to leave him suspicious. For that reason, he was hesitant to give her words much consideration, still, he was curious what she could be hiding from him. Instead of pressing her for an alternative reply, he continued their advance with pressed lips until she spoke again. A glare once again turned towards her, “I can be the judge of the former, no questions needed. Now, entertaining as it might be to see your personal evaluation, I was referring to any...yknow,” he sort of waved his hand, gesturing to not even he knew what. “Anything weird that might be helpful.” (Dude apologizes for shitty post rn, most these post are written in awakened periods of free time - I’m free soon!)

(ok des! ^^) Hook was right to think that Ougi was making a game of it. It was partially that, and partially her boasting that yes, she now did exist as a human in her world. At least mostly. She didn't have to be believed in just to exist anymore. Her smug smirk had a hint of something genuine in it, of her being happy for her own sake. It didn't mean her malicious personality was completely gone, though. "Oh I see. Like how you have a hook for a hand," she pointed out, literally pointing it out in fact. A pointed sleeve was aimed at his left hand, her eyes following. "Hmm... I don't know the limits of my on physiology. Wouldn't you think a room would be just the thing that would allow me to find out?" Her voice turned excited slightly, as though she were ready to be turned into a superhero and he was perfectly willing to play the mad scientist who put her in a blender, or a vat of acid, or a pool of alligators. Her pace quickened a little like they would go into a door sooner that way; it was fitting, teenage energy that came with her stature.

(going to use arlo for now but i might switch her for eliyen later) "-don't want to stay longer than we need to, it's not really safe here," Arlo said from behind her notebook as she appeared leaning against a doorframe. She looked up, recognizing the change in her surroundings, and turned to look around what she'd at first thought was an empty room. The room was not empty, nor was it a room. She had blinked into the hallway this time and the woman from the medieval castle kitchen room was standing near the entrance. "Oh hey," she said, trying to remember her name. Had she ever actually said? All she remembered was that she was a doctor and had been the only person who had any idea what they'd been doing in that room. "Did that thing with the recipe actually work? I blinked out before it was done."She notice that Hook- he'd somehow managed to stay alive while she'd been dead- and Ougi were a bit further down the hall but they seemed to be pretty focused on their conversation.

Sky paused with a frown. "Hmm. Didn't think of that." She went over to the ladder and experimentally tried to pull herself up. This time, her gasp was slightly audible. "Nope. Nope. Can't." Although, when thinking about it, she wouldn't have been able to even with her arm okay- she had forgotten that, well, she was at the moment torso and up. Still, she was at her normal height, at the least slightly hunched over. I'm floating. She thought with a start. Sky had forgotten this as well. "If I'm able to do this, I wonder..." She murmured almost inaudibly to herself. She closed her eyes, and imagined going higher up- to the fourth rung of the ladder. When she opened them, she watched as she slowly gravitated up, before making a stop at the fourth rung. "Spooky." She mumbled, before calling down. "Nevermind. I made it. Are we going this way then?"
(Sorry I didn't reply yesterday. :3)

Hange watched Sandalphon’s signal, wondering what it meant. Was it some sort of sign language they hadn’t encountered? But he was also smiling, so they decided they could probably go out on a limb and say the meaning was positive. Moments later, however, Hange’s stomach dropped as he was hit, rocketing out of the sky...at first, Hange made a move to help, but then stopped, heel digging into the sand. No. They had people to help. Stick to the course. Keep your head down. Complete the mission. So they turned around, face plastered with a smile that didn’t betray their unease with the situation. “Yes, a misunderstanding! You see, that archangel up there, as far as we’ve seen, is friendly. He wasn’t trying to do us any harm, when you saw us together.” They were careful to avoid mentioning that he was their friend, that they’d known him before - clearly, these people were not angel friendly, and having them turn on them would be very bad. They glanced at Elliot as he approached them, trying to read his expression. He was worried, and he wasn’t all that good at hiding it. “Roger, roger,” they said, giving him a sturdy nod and putting their hand to their chest in a small salute.
