Monster Room : What you were (not) waiting for
Unarmed / Crowd : Individuals unarmed in the square
Round Man : A local government authority figure
Yard : Scotland Yard
Vicar : Church authority figure
Lady with the whip : Widow
mob : group of citizens that arrived to the square, with the yard and vicar : armed and angry
Doctor : “Leader of the Monsters”
It seemed like the mummy wandered down a direction less frequented. Or everyone was more occupied with the louder sound of steps stomping through the fog. Nonetheless, the
mummy seemed spared-graced-gifted?
The fog was thickening-in the allies.
Off in the distance, there was a faint sound of shackles. Shackles being dragged along the ground, it seemed slow-and approachable. It seemed to be going away from the sound, but given poor visibility, and the endless allies-it was difficult to tell.
Going west, into the night; the Vicar, the round man, and the volunteers forced their guest down the foggy and chaotic streets. They rushed through, trying to get away from the mayhem, the monsters- and the sound of death.
The unarmed citizens in the square started picking up rocks, rubble and everything they could grab, throwing it towards the group of blinkers as the ones who didn’t initially run away were still in the square. The unnarmed citizens didn’t want to be left out, so they grouped up and started throwing things.
“Like hell..” Someone screamed in the mob, screaming at the remaining yard members to aim.
Other unnarmed people started to form human barriers to block the direction the government official, church official, and volunteers went.
The werewolf , quite large-six feet to be exact, launched at the
multi headed dragon. Its snarl was nothing more then a greeting in its own right, but its body language cried out blood. The multi headed reptile was tall, and it was a one strike deal, in this case whichever was plausible, and like a gift-it had its mouth open. The beast forced onwards, and almost like a gift the dragon’s head was lower then anticipated, to the point that the beast’s hind legs landed on its nozzle, and scratched it across the face. Still holding on , now burying its claws on the reptile, it tried to strike a second time.
The second attempt was easier said then done. The wolf tried to land a second blow, but to no avial. Trying not to get thrown off it buried its claws deeper into the skin, similar to how a needle needs to be brushed off rather then peeled off. The head went into a frezy, and the wolf tried to hold on, but eventually-it was flung off being thrown into the abyss of the fog below, landing with a loud thud that sounded like it landed on people rather than the cobble directly.
A whimper could be herd-drowning out the sound of two mutters, then silence.
But it wasn't complete silence , as dozens of more people oranges around madly.
The damage committed by the remaining heads could be herd yet not seen. The fog was thick in the square to the point that you had to stand at eyes length to see. Snap…Shriek….Silence , Sounds that were herd then silenced-followed by a few snaps. The smell of blood was starting to fill the air, and the sound of feet moving was easily herd.
The yard , accompanied by several people from the mob, followed suit after the
runaway blinkers. The blinkers surprisingly had a good a distance, and given the fog it made it more difficult to keep an eye on their directions. It was almost as if the yard and mob groups lost clear visual of the individuals they were pursuiting.
Despite the poor visibility, footsteps trooped on. The people didn’t stop-they were at a breaking point, at a high point. The church brought the prophecy-the end, and they just needed to truck through to the bitter end.
Back at the square the woman with the whip was starting to retreat as well. She didn’t want to miss the grand show at hellfire, but she also didn’t want to be around to watch the grand finale of the town square. It was evident that the weapons were not working against the dragon.
She slipped away, in pursuit of the small group. The sound of shackles was barely audiable but it was a distinct sound-distant but followable.
The sound of
Sky falling, as she followed
Enjolras, brought a unique sound to the cobble stone. One that caused an individual from the mob to scream down an allyway. “This way!” They screamed, redirecting the group’s initial direction. Though they couldn’t be seen, the sound of many stopping then switching different directions could be clearly herd.
Up ahead, in the direction the blinkers were running towards there was a sound of buzzing. As the blinkers approached that direction, the sound of buzzing grew louder. Then louder-louder, louder-the buzzing followed by the sound of flapping wings (for any monster with good hearing) was making its way through the fog. It was a hornets nest-somebody accidentally fired at a hornets nest in the mayhem, and triggered its colony. There was two allyways on the side leading to other parts of the town, or the option to return the way they came, knowing full well the mob and yard were closing in.
Off in the distance, gunfire could herd rounding off continuously. Weapons were thrown, arrows were shot. The sound of windows shattering sounded like rain drops, given everyone’s blind positioning. The mob, and the yard couldn’t see , they were relying on sound-and to a poor result hitting everything and everyone.
A man cried out as he was accidentally
wounded by a knife.
A woman shrieked as glass rained on her from a second story, that an archer had mistargeted.
A snap , two snaps, a few snaps could be herd every now-
A man fell as a group of people rushed into him.
The sound of a child crying could be herd into the distance.
Someone screamed as metal pierced their flesh.
Dogs barking could be herd everywhere, and it echoed through the square.
“Are we almost there?” The round man demanded an answer as he asked the Vicar. The small group was further away from the mayhem, it almost too true.
The Vicar looked away, “We must find our way out of this maze.” He replied then turned back to hear the shackles, followed by three outlines.
The Doctor was being dragged willingly by the two volunteers in the audience.
One of the volunteers looked over at the other volunteer, “Say-have you ever been to hellfire?” He whispered.
The other man shook his head, “No… we been told it be haunted. The church is only allowed, as it’s the purest of protections.”
The two looked at the doctor, then back at one another.
The round man looked back at the two men dragging their guest, then looked up ahead with a rather snobby hmpf…. He was going to speak, but the sound of feet scurrying rapidly turned his attention to the wals above him. The fog was too deep to look further then eye level, but unknowlingly they were being followed by giant spiders, that were setting giant cobwebs between the allies-a perfect live net to say the least.
Off in the distance pursuing
Enjolras’s group, an individual from the yard fired some rounds. Though uncertain, the sound of a bullet ricocheting off a copestone followed by some abnormal step brought some kind of optimism to the group.
The other few yard members started firing as well, blind by the fog-they fired blindly, unaware of the hornets approaching them from the north end of the road.
The pursuing the self declared leader’s group, was still at a distance, relying only on footsteps to get across. Yet, something else started galloping in suit of the group. It appeared to be behind the mob and yard pursuers, and then-it passed them. The fog made it difficult to tell initially, then through the fog-following after the vampire’s group, there was a light. As it got closer its head was bopping back and forth-and it galloped after the group. As it was close, the outline was revealed to be a horse. A horse in flames, from head to toe, and yet this flame was not hurting it, rather the horse was one with the flame. Its bare red eyes glowed, as it chased after the group, letting out a heft neigh , as it pursued to close in.
