"Doubtful," said Myrnin, still shivering a little but not enough to effect his speech. But with only a bit of hesitation, he took Castiel's hand and followed the man. He didn't know why he had said he was so strong, but Myrnin really didn't think it mattered. Instead, the small child was the one to take the lead, pulling Castiel along - well, not pulling. He was only five. But he did lead rather well. He had to pull up when he saw both the other two blinkers seemed to be stuck in the doorway. "Come on!" he piped up, a bit loudly. "We wanna get outta this room too. It's just an infinite hallways. It's nothin' special!"

[[Castle Room || Luna ]] The dragon's ears twitched as the people in the room started talking and it shifted slightly, but didn't wake... Not until the tapestry it was clinging to finally tore, and the poor creature fell to the ground with a loud hissing sound. It landed on its feet like a cat and looked around the room, dark eyes wide and surprised. Shaking the shredded remains of the tapestry, it slowly turned its head to look at each of the blinkers. The dragon didn't really seem aggressive, just confused.

Sky listened to the others in the room. Mentally, she kept a tab of all the words still unknown to her, such as blinker. When the Doctor addressed her, she gave a small smile. “Heh, okay. I don’t know how well I can, but sure. Do you know what it looks like? Color?”

Castiel let himself be pulled along with no resistance, trusting that the child had taken the lead because he had a goal in mind. Overall, Cas didn’t really have a preference where they went as long as they went somewhere. As he entered the hallway he stiffened ever so slightly, his mouth falling open by a fraction of an inch as the endless hall stretched out in front of him. Out of habit he tried to stretch his wings and fly to the end of it, but of course, nothing happened. The House has taken that ability from him. He wasn’t annoyed by that so much as he was disturbed. Binding an angel’s wings would take incredible strength, and doing so without him even feeling it was almost unthinkable. He glanced sideways down at Myrnin and realized for the first time whether he could really protect the child as well as he’d thought. He didn’t say any of this though. There was no need to cause worry unnecessarily, and so far he’d seen nothing dangerous. He squeezed the tiny hand a little bit, reassuring himself more than Myrnin, and looked quickly at the others before speaking again. “Would you like to pick the door?” He asked, genuinely not sure whether that was something he wanted to do or wished someone else would. “If you’re frightened, I will do it for you.”

"So you're saying that this place has brought us here?" Willow asked, eyes widening in interest. From what she was getting, this 'Paradox House' was sounding like some sentient A.I.. A bloody advanced one, at that. Getting out didn't sound like it would be easy. As for the blinkers, she still wasn't sure what to think of them. She hoped that they could make good allies, especially since a couple of them appeared to have powers, namely the purple-haired woman who'd disappeared into thin air and the dragon who looked to have frozen the ceiling. At the Doctor's comment about gems, Willow quickly turned towards her. "Are jewels the key to getting out of this place?"

"Where would a stone or gem even be in a castle?" Sky wondered aloud. "Is there a treasure room, or something? That would make it a lot easier." She looked at the others, hoping that they would confirm her theory.

Blinking a few times to make sure he wasn't hallucinating, Sandalphon shook his head and focused on the matter at hand again. "Let's." He said to Elliot. All the doors were the same with no defining features. Trying as hard as he could, the Primarch couldn't sense if anything was hiding behind any of them. In fact, he didn't feel anything at all... Like they all just led to the void.
Since there was no differences, he just chose the one in front of them. "'Just an infinite hallway'? Even for a child, acting like this is normal is strange." He mused out loud when he heard the little kid shouting at them from the living room. Sounded like the boy was doing better now.
Sandalphon took a few steps across the hall, stopping about a foot away from the chosen door. "Frightened? Nonsense." The mortal angel had joined them as well. The Primal looked back at Castiel with a raised brow. There was a reason he was going first after all, it was to make sure he was between whatever the house might throw at them and the others to try and keep them safe. Despite the confident air he put on, Sandalphon couldn't deny there was a part of him that was slightly nervous. Not that he'd ever say that out loud to a bunch of strangers... "You're welcome to stay here if you feel that way." The words might have came off as condescending, but he meant them seriously. If any of them were scared, it was better for them to stay where there was no danger.
His floating blades were at the ready as he looked like he was about to cautiously open the door, before he simply shoved it open with a kick from his heeled boot. His excuse? Maybe they could catch whatever was behind it off guard...
At least until seeing what was, or the lack of anything, behind it. It really did lead to the void. There was no better way to describe it. One of the archangel's blades flew forward to plunge into the emptiness, then the other, followed by, after steeling himself and placing a hand on the sword at his hip, the Primarch himself.
The darkness was gone as soon as Sandalphon lept into it, and the first thing that greeted him was not an all powerful beast, but a large rectangular hole in the ground full of water. The distance was too short for him to summon his wings and avoid it, so with red eyes widening in horror and a shout of obscenity, in he went to the deep end with a loud splash.
The hole, actually a pool, was built into the floor of the padio of a futuristic house, all of its walls made of glass. Around the property fields and trees spanned as far as the eye could see.

“Head east and meet up with Levi and the others! I’ll cover Petra!” Hange was zipping through the air at top speed, all their attention concentrated on manipulating their maneuver gear as they made their way through the forest, swinging from tree to tree as they slowly began to gain on their target. Only... In midair, their surroundings changed, and they pulled up fast, trying to brake, but too late - they were headed straight for - With a deafening CRASH, they smashed into one of the huge windows that made up the futuristic house’s walls, plunging headfirst into the pool below and taking a good deal of broken glass along with them. After a moment, they surfaced, gasping and spluttering in shock as they shook themself, trying to get their bearings. They were in a little pond...only it was too square and perfect to be a pond, and the water tasted terrible, like lab chemicals and salt. Their surroundings were all made of surfaces they’d seen before in the House, but didn’t know what they were - there was glass, of course, but also the long, smooth surface that held...those horseless carriage things...automobiles, they’d been called. What an odd kind of place.

"No, no," said The Doctor lightly. "Ya misunderstand." She glanced around and then broke away from Volt. She glanced first at Sky and then at Willow. "It's a small jewel. It was in this room. I'm not sure what color it was." She held up her fingers to indicate how small. She was about to move away when the dragon came crashing down to the floor. A bit of water splashed everywhere and things got shaken up a bit. The Doctor whirled and asked the dragon, "Are you alright?" She didn't sound like she was worried about the unusual creature with them, much less the fact that it looked agile enough to do damage. "I take it you just appeared here out of nowhere as well as them?" she asked, nodding at Willow and Sky. As she glanced back, she noticed a slight glint in the water the falling dragon-creature had churned up. She bent down, holding a small rock between two fingers. "This," she explained to Sky. "Was what I was looking for. We're in a room in the Paradox House. Entering them means you either have to survive what's in it - or there's some sort of puzzle to solve. There was an arrow on a tapestry which pointed to a stone. I pressed the stone and it eventually led to this. So it's probably important."

"Species?" Volt broke her concentration on the new woman long enough to look at Neb, only to see her vanish into nothing. Well.... at least the attire had been explained. As tension in the room eased, the Tenno stepped back as well, although she remained wary. The large white creature, while called a dragon, looked enough like what Volt had been conditioned to consider a wolf that it made her uneasy, but it didn't seem hostile. Torchlight reflected off of Volt's metal plating as she silently looked between all the new faces, letting someone else do the talking. She wasn't in a position to explain anything to anyone.
Suddenly the dragon fell from its perch near the ceiling, startling her. She quickly reached out a hand to stop The Doctor from approaching it but then paused and let it drop, watching as the woman fearlessly addressed the wolf-like creature. Then she seemed to find the rock she had been so fixated on.
"That's what you were looking for?" Volt asked. It was so small, fairly unimpressive in its current state. "What are you going to do with it?"

Myrnin looked at Castiel and then, still holding his hand, he dragged him past Elliot and after the other angel. "Come on!" he insisted. But somehow between crossing the threshold and entering the room. He almost fell after Sand-whatever. Instead, to avoid this, he tucked his head and gripped the edge of the stone lake. When he was sure he had his balance he hurriedly moved to the side. He yelled after the other angel, "Hey! Are you alright? You can swim right?" Myrnin couldn't swim very well, but he could at least survive in the water for a little. He thought it might be a bit more difficult to get out of this small pond because there were no reeds and things to pull yourself out with. He looked around, but didn't see anything useful.

Cas hesitated, narrowing his eyes at the black space behind the door. He should be able to get some idea of what was inside, but....it was like the space beyond the doorway simply didn’t exist. It was just nothing, in a way he hadn’t ever encountered before. Sandalphon’s remark distracted him from the void and he turned, giving the other angel a closer look than he had before. “No, I'm not frightened of this impossible dimension of paradoxes.” He returned, face as deadpan as his tone. It was impossible to tell whether he was intending to be sarcastic or simply answering the question posed to him honestly. He opened his mouth to ask another question, but the other blinker was through the door and gone before the words reached his lips and he stiffened, then stepped closer, leaning forward to look inside like a chicken with a new yard. And then there was a tug on his hand and he lost his balance with a startled shout, plunging headfirst into the void that suddenly wasn’t nothing anymore but colors and sounds and- He landed with a loud splash and went under, instantly disoriented as the world was replaced by echoes and shards of colors. He looked up and saw concrete, then down and realized that the rest of the blinkers were down there. Up there. After a few moments of righting himself, the angel broke the surface and spat out a large mouthful of water that had ended up in his lungs. Then he shook his head like a dog, flinging droplets of cold water on every direction, and flailed until he saw Myrnin and began attempting to move towards him.

The door slowly opened, and Elliot stiffened for anything. Sandalphon seemed ready for the worse, but even then it wouldn't hurt to carry that extra percussion. It seemed like they were going too slow, maybe slower than anyone naturally would open a door; given young Myrnin's annoyed response. Patience.. Elliot bit his lower lip, resisting the urge to scold the child.
Then Sandalphon's warning was almost a jerk back, had he not bitten his lip tighter to prevent himself from reacting in any sort of way. Keeping himself silent, he watched the man open the door, continued listening to the boy complain about time, and the other angel who offered to let the boy open the door. I guess we are taking this too slow, to permit a child to open a door
The door was kicked open, and immediately Elliot stumbled backward away from the door in response to the intense lighting illuminating from the depths of the oddly shaped pound. To make it worse, the stone ground was illuminating, and between some plants off to the distance there were lights of various colors pointed directly at them, and towards the massive glass structure in the background. The light was reflecting off the glass structure, making the scene brighter than it actually was.
Elliot was very irritated from the change in lighting. He had an arm over his eyes trying to recompose his sight. Unfortunately, being caught off guard he lost track of everything-their footsteps, their scent, their blood, their hearts. The first splash could be heard from inside the door. Followed by the smell of wet cardboard that had been underground for three months. Before he could even consider the splash, he heard a large shatter, followed by a second splash. As if the smell of wet cardboard wasn't enough, the sound of shattering glass was ringing repeatedly in his ears. He was about to speak up when he heard the third splash.
Still blinded, he slowly stepped forward keeping a hand on the door's ledge, while the other arm still blocked his sight. He shifted his left foot up ahead to feel the ground ahead, surprised to feel a ledge, he slowly shifted his left leg towards the right to feel the ledge running horizontally. The boy's voice broke through, calling out to what appeared to be everyone who had fallen into the water-wait... If the boy is calling out, then he didn't fall? But... I heard three splashes, and we are three people. He kept his grip on the door ledge, Who was the third? He thought unaware of Hange's presence. He slowly pulled his arm away from his eyes, trying to regain his vision against the large blaring accursed lights. He winced, blinked and struggled as the various colors and intensities made it difficult to keep himself strongly focused. He kept his head down, now seeing the ledge his foot hovered over. To his left, the boy who seemed worried. Wincing again, he turned his head slightly up to see three people inside the body of water. Elliot knelt down along the edge, then leaned slightly forwards to see the door. From the inside of the house, the door was established along a long wall. From the inside of the door, to his left and right there was no wall, rather an open space. But-this door's positioning was right in front of the pound. He winced his eyes a bit more, as he returned his attention to the glaring lights. "It appears we will have to swim, to go further into this room." he softly told the boy.

"Incorrect!" said Myrnin with a bit of a laugh at Elliot. Then he reached past the other blinker, grabbed the edge of the door, and swung it closed. As soon as the door was closed, it disappeared, leaving the way clear behind them. Then Myrnin looked back at the water, chewing at his lip, trying guess what he could do to help the other blinkers out of the water. Then, because he recognized one of the blinkers, he waved his hand. "Hange! Hange, do you need help?" He looked over them, still very concerned that his friend would drown. That happened sometimes where he was from. Could they swim?

Would you look at that, Elliot had been right. Of all the places one imagined a magical door would take them, the bottom of an artificial lake certainly wasn't one of them. Sandalphon let his body sink about halfway down and idly floated there, his mind trying to still put everything together in a way that made sense.
The farther down this rabbit hole he went, the more confusing it got. At first, it had seemed easy enough to figure out. A Primal with the ability to reach through time was taking people from different times and places, and bringing them to one of it's choosing. For what reason? Who knew, but it was simple enough. Now, with things like endless hallways and doors to anywhere, things had just got a lot more complicated...
As if remembering it needed oxygen, burning pain in his chest tore the archangel from his thoughts and he let out a choked gasp, unintentionally letting some of the water into his lungs. His head swung around as he tried to get his bearings, quickly catching sight of the surface. He moved as fast as he could and came bursting out in a coughing fit. His lungs felt like they were on fire, which was only made worse by the horrible flavor now tainting his mouth. It was a struggle to stay afloat until he finally managed to stop.
The Primarch's first coherent thoughts were of the cup still protectively clutched in his hand. He shook his head to clear the brown hair clinging to his face out of the way so he could see properly and gave it a quick once over. It was still in one piece, its surface unmarred. He gave a silent sigh of relief seeing that it was still safe. It was going to need a thorough cleaning to get all taste of this foul water off it though...
Two more splashes marked the entrance of the rest of the group, the Primarch didn't have to turn around to guess that one. Even so, he glanced back to make sure none of them were drowning. Castiel, along with a new unfamiliar human had been the ones to hit the water, both seeming to have basic water traversing skills at least. The child and Elliot were perched at the pool's edge, lucky, or cautious, enough not to have fallen in.
"I don't know about if my sense of taste will return after what it's been subjected to, but besides that yes, I'm fine." Sandalphon called dryly back to Myrnin. "And I can swim well enough not to drown anyway." When he wasn't lost in his own mind that was...
By this point, he was well eager to be out of here. Since nobody was in immediate danger, the archangel began the slow swim towards the nearest wall, the movement awkward thanks to his soaked, heavy clothes. Once he got to the rim, he placed his coffee cup out of the way, spun around and hoisted his body out.
"How am I going to explain this..." What would the crew think when he came back soaked? It was going to be a pain hiding any of this if being sent home looking like he'd had a pond dumped on him became a regular occurrence. Setting to work, he tried to shake himself dry as best as he could.

The dragon tilted its head when the blond woman spoke to it, then nodded in response to the question. It glanced between The Doctor, Volt, and the other blinkers a couple of times, considering them, then sat back on it's hind feet. As it did, it shrank and shifted. One moment it was a dragon, the next it had become a young woman with pale skin, snowy hair and dark eyes, wearing a long silvery dress that reached the floor. "Whoa, how did that happen?" she asked tugging at the fabric of the dress as she tried to get a better look at its design. "I've never worn anything like this before." The light glinting off the gem caught her eye, distracting her from the dress. Curious, she stepped closer and started to reach toward it before thinking better and lowering her hand again. "Like some sort of treasure hunt?"

Willow nodded. "So I take it we should be looking for some sort of clues, then?" she asked, crossing her arms. Maybe the gem was a clue. She took a few steps closer to get a closer look at it, but from what she could tell it wasn't pointing them in any direction. Looking back towards the other blinkers, she managed to witness the dragon change into a human woman.

"Possibly a treasure hunt," The Doctor agreed. "I'm not sure. Haven't gotten that far, have we?" She grinned. She glanced at Volt, who'd asked a similar question. "Well, I'm not sure yet. I'm assuming there are more or that it will be used for something else later on. Havta see." She shrugged. "Did we wanna get out of the wet?" She indicated the floor and their clothing. Was it possible to catch cold in this place? She didn't think so, but she thought that it was possible to be hard to do things any more in this room. If they needed more of anything here then they could always come back. Anyway, there were other exists to this room, so maybe they should explore those. "What do ya all think?" she asked.

Volt stared as the dragon suddenly morphed a human. Even with her expressionless helm and dark node-lights, disbelief was still written across the Tenno's 'face.' Something that large becoming something that small was impossible, right? Where did the- Then the dragon-now-girl questioned the new clothes, causing Volt to glance at her own attire. She was currently in an extra-dimensional "house" that spawned forest, wolves, prehistoric buildings, and attire. At this point there wasn't much point in questioning how the creature had changed.
"That would be preferable." Volt replied to The Doctor. She had managed to find two rocks to stand on that kept her out of the pooling water, but none of this was pleasant. At least with her energy stores gone she didn't pose a danger to the others. She looked around for the exit, spotting two doors; one that led to another room and one that seemed to lead into a hallway. Choosing the hall, the Tenno crouched down and made a leap for it, aiming to touch the least amount of water as possible.

Sky gave a small shrug, and began to follow the others out. Skirting around the puddles (save for her dress- it swished in the water, and Sky grimaced as she looked at the wet edges. Hopefully it would be off soon), Sky soon faced the room one last time, examining all of the edges with her good eye. But even she knew that she didn’t know what to look for. With a small sigh, she slowly walked out of the room and into the hall.

Ononoki blinked back into the room and stood still as a tree as Hange flew past her, shaking her turquoise pigtails in their breeze. She automatically turned and went that direction when she heard The Doctor’s voice, recognizing it. She drew closer like Willow and stared blankly at the gem, as if pretending to be like the others and examine it. “Hello again,” she told The Doctor in monotone, “I said with a posed look.” She greeted her as though nothing significant had happened since their last meeting, and she was simply returning to business as usual. Of course that wasn’t true, and plenty of things were happening in her world that to anyone else would cause distress. “It’s a scavenger hunt,” she said as a suggestion.
(One question: has the outfit situation changed at all lol)

I can swim! I appreciate the concern, though.” Finally, they reached the part of the pool that was shallow enough to stand in, and stood up the rest of the way, dripping the odd-smelling water everywhere and stretching their arms out to be sure they hadn’t injured themself going through the window. Aside from a few shallow cuts here and there, and some rips in their uniform, they seemed to be okay. Their maneuver gear might need some tinkering with, though... ”Strange place, isn’t it?” they said to Myrnin, tilting their head at the child. “Smells strange...”

Willow couldn't help but be curious about Ononoki. She looked like a human, but her voice was monotone and reminiscent of a robot's. If she's an A.I., is she created by whoever made this 'Paradox House'? she noted it mentally, as it was certainly a question to keep in mind. Without saying anything in response, the hero nodded again. Scavenger hunt or no, it seemed like a good idea to search the premises. Willow walked over to where Volt and Sky were, not caring to dodge the puddles. She personally didn't care if her dress or feet got wet.

Elliot turned his head towards the side, refusing to meet the boy or give him the least of any attention. How dare he speak up in such a manor? He resisted to urge to lash out. Back home, this would be a pending death sentence. Then again-he wasn't home. For this same very reason, he was still uncomfortable with all forms of in formalities. With the door vanishing, he could stand now and take a step back. The water wasn't harmful, given the three bodies sacrificed to it. But the stench was terrible.
The boy did provide some insight to the third person, it was Hange. Sandalphon called back out to Myrnin, which reassured Elliot that he too was fine. The other angel seemed to be moving around too. Good.. He silently relieved himself. His own sight was fairing better, but a part of him just wanted to destroy every accursed form of light. or at least come to an agreement in intensity.. He complained.
