"You'll have to wait until the House wills it. Meanwhile, would you like to go exploring with me?" Annabelle offered, tilting her head far to the left. Her glasses slipped a little off the bridge of her nose as she shifted from foot to foot, as though she could explode at any moment if she stopped moving. Her hazel eyes shone lightly.

"Sure." Sky replied, suddenly feeling bright. If this place was its own dimension, then who knew what it was like... "Lead the way." She added.

Annabelle nodded, then started walking down the hall. "Do you want to choose which room to go into?" she asked softly, almost whispering. She sounded worried, but not quite scared yet.

Sky shrugged, suddenly feeling unnerved. "What about this one?" She said, her light hazel eyes suddenly focusing on a door. She made her way over and began to open it, excitement overcoming foreboding into a feeling of pure adrenaline. She pushed through.

Annabelle followed quickly, long legs going full stride to keep up. She tugged nervously on her sleeve, glancing around as she reached for her back pocket. She'd started carrying a pair of scissors around with her just in case, and she placed a hand on where they were safely placed in the back of her jeans pocket.

"U-u-um," said Myrnin, eyebrows knitting together as he pulled his blanket closer to his body. "A fair amount? I've been coming here a looooong t-t-time." But then again, a child's concept of times was different from an adults. Myrnin considered a week long. But he had been blinking in close to two to three months now. He watched both of the girls - he assumed one wasn't a newbie - walk away and down the hall. "Uuuuh. S-should we follow them?" He looked between both angels and then the vampire. He wasn't too sure. They could probably handle things themselves, but it was probably still a good idea to keep a group together.

Sandalphon let his gaze wonder down towards the ornate coffee cup he was still holding, although it was now empty. If one was adapt at picking up on subtle emotions, they would see the hint of sadness that extremely quickly crossed the Primal's features. It was gone in a flash and as if it had never happened, he answered Elliot's question.
"For the last one, Lucifer, it was to command the rest of the archangels, along with watching over and guide the evolution of all life in the skydoms." The Primarch explained, "Now that the role has been passed to me, I just do my best to keep the world and it's people safe."
This room was starting to grow quite full, it almost reminded Sandalphon of things on the airship. Just with less people running around confused on what was going on. Although that did happen occasionally there too...
It was still a bit awkward being surrounded by so many in such a closed proximity, even more so when all the faces were unfamiliar. Out of the corner of his eye, the Primarch caught sight of a door. Instinctively he took a step towards it. Well, that was a good place as any to get started scouting things out, right?
"So it does seem." He agreed with Elliot. He also acknowledged Myrnin's glance, but instead of turning away like the man next to him, he simply stood there a bit awkwardly, unsure of what to do. Even after all the time he'd traveled with both the Singularity and Girl in Blue, he still wasn't particularly good with kids, even more so one as young as Myrnin.
The human-angel's name was Castiel, huh? A name like that would fit right in with the rest of the Primarchs. Maybe one of the other archangels had heard of him, Sandalphon would have to ask them the next chance he got.
"Shall we see where that door leads?" He asked Elliot, tilting his head to point at the one he'd saw before. "Maybe we can get more leads on what's happening here."

Sky suddenly found herself in a tight cyan dress- she looked around, confused, at the stone walls and golden sconces. "What- are we still in the Paradox House?" She asked. Thank goodness, her wand was still in her hand. "Lumos." She muttered, comforted by the brighter light emitting from it.

Annabelle was wearing knight armor now. "Woahhhh! This is SO COOL!!!" She was totally having a fangirl moment. Of course she was. She did a little excited hop, making the armor clang and jangle. She clapped her hands with a little laugh. It had always been a dream of hers to at least cosplay a knight, but now, it appeared that she actually was one.

"Oh dear," said The Doctor, as someone else turned up in armor. "Someone else stuck in armor." She stepped forward, the dress she didn't really want to be wearing flowing around her ankles. "Do ya need help out of that?" She looked back at Mallory, puzzled if this person was or was not distressed at this new outcome, but unsure how to ask. "Ya in a castle - in the Paradox House," she added. "In case you were wonderin.'"

Annabelle shook her head. "I'm good! Unless we need to be super stealthy, I'd honestly rather wear this than anything else at the moment." She did finger guns and then fidgeted with the shoulder pads of the armor. "The House sometimes confuses me with all these weird rooms..." she muttered under her breath.

"If ya sure," said The Doctor doubtfully. "It look a bit heavy." Hopefully they wouldn't have to run, but for now she didn't see a problem with Annabelle wearing it. She shrugged. "I enjoy its originality." It ... like it was an actual being. She still wasn't sure about that. "Anyway ... we were heading in this direction," she said, and then turned to stalk down the hallway. She'd seen another blinker go this way and hopefully they would catch up with her. When she entered the next room, it was covered in tapestries. She looked around at all of them, hanging off the walls and telling stories with woven cloth. "Fancy," she commented.

Annabelle followed this random lady dutifully, the wiry teen nearly tripping over the bulk of the armor as they entered the next room, but managing to keep her balance. She acted like nothing happened as she tried to figure out the stories to each tapestry. She was probably reading between the lines here, but the one on the far side of the room seemed to depict a war...? All she knew was that there was a lot of red used in that one. Oh well.

Elliot herd sound coming from the boy, but no actual words came out at first. He remained silent, keeping his attention slightly away from the bigger crowd. He didn't mind crowds, he was forced to edure them. Yet, he was always surrounded by people, not because they wanted to be by him but because they were forced. In this situation, everyone was just clumped into a room, with no context and no knowing if the person to their right or left was some insane lunatic. Even then, Elliot was slightly uncomfortable.
Sandalphon seemed to be an enthusiast of coffee. Something Elliot had herd rambles about from other guests of this house. The new company seemed upset, most likely because of the empty cup. Why do I feel like I am looking through a mirror? He couldn't help but wonder. Myrnin did return his attention, with his declaration of being a regular cast member, but Sandalphon's silent sorrows were more interesting. Elliot scrunched his eyes briefly as though he had just been flashed with a bright light, he was concerned with his own thoughts. Why did I take pleasure in something so distraught?
"Lucifer?" He stepped forward with a soft remark. It was almost as if someone yanked him with a lasso from the farm. Sandalphon's expression was enforcing the idea that he was being serious about thee lucifer, the angel. "If I may ask further, Lucifer the angel? I take it you are an angel then? He stiffened, feeling the pressure to uphold himself to a serious manner when discussing the matter. "Well, I wish you the best in your endeavors. It sounds like a grand task."
Elliot's attention followed Sandalphon's, still acknowledging Myrnin and Castiel, but more engaged with the stranger he accidentally assaulted earlier. Seeing the man approach the door he took a step forward. "I would advise caution. These doors seem like any other, but many times they lead to places you may not imagine." He softly warned. He was still new to the doors of this place, but from what he heard and experienced, everything seemed to make sense.
Being personally used to crossing doors to other worlds, Elliot was weary to tread on the experience of others. He knew nothing of Sandalphon's experiences, but given his confidence from earlier, it never hurt to lightly warn. When Sandalphon begged the question, Elliot couldn't help but slowly nod.

"I'm curious ..." murmured The Doctor, but then trailed off before she could finish the sentence. She approached the nearest tapestry, hesitantly reaching out and running a hand over the fabric. "Ah," she said after a second. "Ya know ... if I didn't know better I think this might be a hint." She pointed to a place on the tapestry - a woven, pointing arrow. She moved her hand a bit to the left and then pushed the block of stone directly next to the arrow's point. Something gave, and then there was a large creaking sound ... and a block about as big as someone's head fell from the ceiling above ...

Annabelle reacted almost instantly, pushing the Doctor out of the way of the block. You know, just in case it was a death block or something. Because death blocks always happen in movies, so obviously that would apply here. Right? Right. What she didn't understand is why the death block would be in the second room of the castle. You know what? Castle is a boring name. Let's call it a stone death trap. Because if there's death blocks in a castle then there has to be other traps, right? Right. So this stone death trap was trying to murder them on the second room, so therefore, there had to be either something valuable or something more dangerous.
{{Annabelle's logic is just,, all over the place. And I love it.}}

Arlo nodded, putting the paper plane back into her notebook where it had been for the last decade. She glanced away as she considered his question. "The plane went down and we managed to get out but the water was... really rough, like nothing I've ever seen before, and it was full of rocks so..." She wasn't sure how long she'd been in the water but with the way it had dragged her down and slammed her against the rocks, broke bones and forced the air from her lungs, tore at her hands as she attepmted to pull herself to safety... it had felt like an eternity. "It's... a bit of a blur," she said as she forced her mind back to the present. When he asked about her friend she nodded again. "Yeah, I don't know how he survived as long as he did- too stubborn to die I guess- but I was able to heal him enough that he'll be fine. As for me, well... it's going to take a little while to finish healing. I've reversed more deaths today and yesterday than I thought was possible including my own so I didn't have enough energy to heal completely..." Arlo trailed off and sighed. She knew that wasn't what he'd meant, or at least not entirely. "I'm... still trying to wrap my mind around what just happened," she admitted.

<Raintalon> »ƑαƖcση Neb's ears had twitched just a moment before Volt spoke, but as she quieted Hange down and silence fell over them, a deep frown crossed Neb's face as the noise from within the trees reached her. "Yeah," she answered back, carefully taking a couple of steps closer to the forest.
Her eyes scanned the treeline, brow creased, and one hand flexed at the ready. There wasn't a direct source of the sounds, Neb realized, it was echoing far too much to pinpoint where it was coming from. She held her other hand up to motion the other two stay as they were as Neb risked inching even closer. The sound seemed to halt for just a moment and Neb's ears remained pointed up, straining to listen.
And then it came crashing through the foliage. The hero nearly tripped on her frantic back up, eyes wide as she got a look at not just one, but four large creatures that bore a resemblance to a mix of the wolves from earlier and a bear in its size and muscles. Neb turned quick, teleporting in a flash to reappear next to Hange and Volt. "We gotta move! Now!"
(hello!! pls forgive the timewarping just this once, we really gotta finish this room up CCx )
Volt took a step back in shock, then her helmet tilted downwards in focus and she drew her swords. These creatures were enormous, nearly the size of armored-Neb. The creatures approached from all sides, cornering them against the boundary of the lake. Even with her augmented speed and agility, the Tenno wasn't certain she would be able to make it over the mountains of flesh and rage to escape, so she prepared herself to fight.
The Tenno shot a quick glance down at her forearm, as if hoping her internal sense was wrong. But no, her lights still flickered dimly, her dip in the lake having drained most of the energy reserves she had.
"Neb, save yourself." Volt's tone of voice was grim but determined. "Teleport away! I'll join you in a bit." Maybe. If she could survive the initial encounter.
She planted her feet more firmly into the rocks and faced the monsters barreling towards them.

Annabelle struggled to her feet, tossing her hair out of her face. "Is everyone okay?" she asked, examining the newcomer before glancing around. "That arrow practically screamed 'trap'." she muttered to herself. She folded her arms behind her back and started pacing. Two steps left, two steps right. It was easy to imagine a loading sign above her head.

Annabelle glanced over as Enjolras as he spoke, pausing in her pacing. She hesitantly shook his hand, smiling faintly. "I'm Annabelle. It's nice to meet you, Enjolras." She probably mispronounced that, but whatever. She'd catch on eventually. Her hazel eyes kept shifting around as she shifted from foot to foot. This girl really could not sit still.

Neb stepped in closer, almost pressing her back to the other as the creatures closed in around them. The Doctor wasn't here to say otherwise, so right now Neb was more considering fighting the way out, although she was really feeling the effects catch up to her from all the energy she had been using in this room. She might not last too long-- As her powers began to bubble around her hands, she paused for a second when she heard Volt, glancing just enough out of the corner of her eye at the Tenno. "I'm not gonna just leave!" she argued. She was tired from how much she had expended earlier, but she'd be damned if she wasn't going to do as much as she could to get them out of here.
Neb's eyes darted around, finding the other side of the lake clear of danger. She could get them there... right? She hoped she had enough endurance left in her to make the full gap - it was a bit farther than she liked at the moment. "Grab my hand!" she told Volt, already reaching for her, eyes glowing brighter as her teleportation activated.
