Touka jumped as Rex lunged ahead, fearing he’d seen something in the woods, then let out a startled shriek as the snowball hit her square in the shoulder. She stood still for a moment, dumbfounded by the sight of the stoic soldier himself suddenly acting like...well, a child. But then, amusement rose in her chest, replacing the anxiety, and as a grin spread across her features, she quickly stooped down, packing as much snow into her hands as she could manage. Oh, two could play at this game. “Okay, pretty good,” she called, running after him(admittedly, pacing herself - a human’s top speed was no match for a ghoul’s). “Just try and dodge this!” With that challenge, she let the snowball fly, flinging it from the shoulder as if she were throwing a baseball. Maybe all those P.E. sessions in high school hadn’t been for nothing after all.

Eises tilted her head, "What's a Black Box?" Was it literally a magical box that was black? Maybe it was a metaphor for something else. An enchanted item? That wasn't unheard of in Theia, items giving off magic, and of course Eises of all people would know. "Eh?!" The wolf couldn't believe what she was hearing. They looked...small and weak. They all had rust of them judging by the pictures, so how were they able to do anything remotely dangerous? Wouldn't that rust get in the way or make them fall apart? But to wipe out the entirety of humans...That was...depressing. "I see..." Was all she was able to say. "They got robots for almost everything." The wolf started, "Machines work in factories, dunno if those count as robots though. But yeah the Theian-looking ones are only used for battle. No machine in Theia has a conscious or could think." For Eises, that was a good thing. Fighting soulless hunks of metal is easier than fighting something that can think.... sort of. She really couldn't think how it would be possible to give them a conscious, how would that even work? "Uh, do you have a name?" Was that weird question to ask? This blinker was an android after all, were those given regular names in her world? "They're the most important thing in our bodies. It's what powers our systems, and also stores our memories and personalities." 7S lifted a hand and produced another hologram above her outstretched palm. It was a ebony cube with various patterns resembling circuitry covering its surface. A white glow pulsated from within, causing those patterns to glow brightly. "If I have my facts straight, that's how the artificial life back home started as well." The S type mused, "Over time, as technology became more advanced and through constant refining of artificial intelligence, the creations became just as sentient as their creators." Whether that was a blessing or a curse, however, was another thing altogether... "Hmm. Probably not the type you're thinking of." 7S bit her lip in thought, pausing for a second. "Unless a... What's the word humans used to say... 'cheesy'?, nickname counts. If so feel free to call me 'Sevens'." The corners of the her couldn't resist lifting in an amused smile. "But most people call me 7S." Her left hand raised to her chest in the YoRHa salute, and as always she threw in her personal twist of doing it with a slight bow. "O-Oh." Eises simply replied, not knowing how to respond properly. She wondered how a box could store memories and personalities, but it was clearly a type of magic that didn't exist in her world. She decided not to think about it too hard, the wolf wasn't in the mood for a headache. If Evina were here, she'd be all over it probably. "I dunno how technology can create a conscious though..." After all, people have had those since the beginning, way before electronics were a thing. "Maybe it's the magic in your world." So once again, Eises decided not to think about it further. This was a pretty good topic to bring up to Evina whenever she returned, the demitheian may not be able to to understand most of the talk that would happen, but she enjoyed listening to her friend regardless. "Human?" She tilted her head for a few seconds, "Oh right." It took her a few moments to remember what those were. They didn't exist in Theia after all, her only experience with them was here in the House. Her eye widened when the android bowed, "Woah woah, you don't gotta bow! I'm not anyone special." In Elisia, bowing was a way of greeting and dismissing one self to someone of higher status, a status that Eises definitely didn't have. "Sevens isn't so cheesy, I like it. You can call me Eises!"

Satisfaction flashed through Rex as he heard the snowball hit. He risked a glance over his shoulder, seeing the grin spreading across her face. The game was on. He kept running, heading for the trees. They'd make decent cover for their snowball fight. Hearing her yell, he looked back, his heart jumping in surprise. She'd caught up fast, but he didn't dodge laser bolts all day for nothing. Diving into a roll, the snow crunched beneath him on impact. Flying to his feet, he skidded slightly, then took off again, laughing. "You missed!" he yelled over his shoulder. Slowing only a tiny bit, he snagged some snow off the ground and smashed it into a ball. Spinning, he threw it wildly in her direction, more as a distraction than an actual attempt to hit her.

Okay, he was good, she admitted, as he dodged her blow with an impressive show of agility and reflexes. But really, she hadn’t expected any less. At the sound of his taunt, her lip curled in playful frustration and she leapt forward, trying to gain back some of the ground she’d lost by taking aim. But then, she had to dodge to the left as he flung another snowball, barely avoiding being hit by the haphazard throw as she skidded on the unstable ground. Keeping her eye on her target, she tried again - she grabbed up yet another pile of snow, compacted it quickly into a lopsided ball(hey, she’d never been good at arts and crafts), and let fly, aiming straight for center mass.

“Wanna bet?” Touka was nearly right on top of Rex as he turned and threw the snowball - right on time. Gathering herself, she leapt straight up in the air with all her strength instead of to the side, missing the snowball by the smallest hair’s breadth. Judging her distance carefully, she grabbed the lowest limb of the tree she was under and swung forward, landing with an ungrateful stumble so she was now several feet in front of, instead of behind, her opponent. Was she showing off? Yes. Was she having fun, for the first time in...well, she wasn’t sure how long? Absolutely. Not wasting the opportunity her acrobatics had earned her, she quickly made another snowball and chucked it in Rex’s general direction, aiming to use the distraction to scramble back to her feet.

Hyacindiemo blinked into the lodge in his dragon form. With his tail, he accidentally knocked down a couple of chairs. Snorting, he didn't bother to shrink his size before sniffing around. Now this was a comfortable looking room. Placing one of his front paws on a decorated sofa, he noticed that there were actually windows on the walls. Approaching them, he had to lower his neck just to look outside. The snowy landscape surprised him.

Hyacin whipped around at the sound of a young voice. It came from a very tiny looking Theian, or what appeared to be Theian. She was so small, he probably wouldn't enjoy it much if he ate her. Turning around, squeezing under the ceiling, Hyacin only needed to take a couple of steps forward before he was right in front of her. He shoved his snout onto her, getting a good sniff before he decided to shrink his size to that of a large dog. He shook his haunches before leaping onto the sofa and taking a soft bite into her arm. It was hard enough to feel his sharp teeth, but not enough to draw blood.

(sorry to hear that apollo, see you around!) Clementine jumped when his large snout pushed forward to give her a sniff. Her eyes squeezed shut and her hands found their way down to grip at the hem of her dress. One eye peeked out when the creature shrunk his size and her face reflected her awe at the sight. "Whoa..." Her gaze followed him to the sofa, her lips still parted to say something, though instead a yelp left her when teeth met with her arm and she instinctively tried to pull away. "Ow! Wh-what are you doing?" Was he going to try and eat her too? It didn't matter where she was, dream or real life, everything seemed to always be after her.

{Aaah what about OCs @angelfur ? ;; }
No way was Hyacin going to eat something as small as her, he preferred his food with lots of meat. Unless it was fish, but obviously there were no fish here. He tugged on her arm a little before backing away to the other side of the couch. He sat down with his back straight and wings stretched out to his sides. Shaking his haunches once more, he quickly transformed into his semitheian form. "What's up, kid?"

{Yeah, you can always replace your current characters with new ones ! @angelfur We do it all the time }
Hyacin tilted his head and placed his finger on his chin in exaggerated thought, "Why not?" This was the first time anyone had asked him why he would bite them, no one ever questioned him before. He didn't exactly have a response for that either, he just...wanted to. Maybe it was instinct to try to eat anything smaller than him that moved, even if he had some control over that. "What's your name?"

"It's not UN-nice!" Hyacin replied, "I didn't make you bleed, so there's no issue!" He rolled his eyes playfully. Straightening his back and placing an arm at the edge of the sofa, "No one else cares when I bite 'em, at least I didn't try to eat you!" Now the latter was something he was taught, to just not eat anyone he wanted. He knew by now not to attack children anyway. "Oh, isn't that like an orange? I'm Hyacindiemo."

Hyacin was almost tempted on biting her again out of spite, but used all his strength to refrain from doing so. It'd be weird to bite her while he was in his semitheian form anyway, and he didn't want to transform back so soon either. Her arm was safe this time for now. "I dunno, can you?" He gave a teasing grin, "I'm a dragon! What's with all these worlds not having dragons anyway?"

Hyacin lifted his eyebrows, "Make-believe?" He stretches his wings out for a few moments with an exaggerated frown. Was his the only one that had dragons? There was the one with no-teeth, but he hasn't seen him in years. Hyac wasn't entirely sure no-teeth even came here anymore. These other worlds sounded dreadfully boring if something as great as dragons didn't even exist. "I'm guessing you're new here? Mmm if your world doesn't have any of my kind, then yeah, that means we're not from the same place."

(hey!! it's fine with me ^^) She wondered about telling Duck this. He'd probably flip out if she said she'd met a real dragon. Although... Clem glanced around, taking in the room. It felt like how things used to be before, and how she remembered Christmas with her family. "I guess so," she murmured. "Where is here anyway? And...can I go back?" It looked nice here, and it was warm, but she liked the people she was with and so far she hadn't seen any of them here yet.

{Eyy }
Hyac stretched his arms upwards, giving out a small groan. As he stretched his torso sideways, he started, "You're in the Paradox House! It's uhhhh a world of its own that brings people from other worlds together. Crazy I know." However, what Hyac didn't know was what this room was. It almost reminded him of the living room, it seemed too comfortable to be a regular room. "Yeah! You'll go back when this place wants you to, time's frozen in your world so it's like you were never gone."

Jax blinked into the House, and for some reason it seemed warmer than normal.The ice mage glanced around, noting the decorations. His family had never celebrated Christmas, for religious reasons, but he still enjoyed how all the decorations always looked. The young teen also took in the sight of other Housemates, some he'd seen before, though never talked to, and other's he'd never laid eyes on before. And worst of all, Crutchie wasn't around. Great... He shoved his hands into his pockets and decided to listen in, though look completely disinterested. Maybe there would be a conversation worth jumping in on, maybe he'd learn which people to avoid, either way, he didn't really want to jump into the conversation unless directly addressed. It just seemed kind of rude.
