“I don’t mind taking the next-“ Arlo’s words cut off abruptly as her surroundings changed and the ground jerked sharply below her feet, causing her to lose her balance and stumble into someone, though she didn’t really notice who. She quickly jumped away from them and threw out a hand to grab the back of the nearest headrest to steady herself. No not again, she thought, her head whipping back and forth as she scanned her surroundings and found exactly what she’d been afraid of. She was on a plane again, and like last time, it was crashing. She knew they needed to do something fast but she couldn’t focus. Her mind was spinning, her fingernails digging into the headrest she’d grabbed when she’d slipped. The strange and all too familier feeling of weightlessness flooding her mind and muddling her thoughts. They were going so fast. She couldn’t tell how high they were but if they hit the ground like this it wouldn’t be good. They had to slow it down, stabilize it, something. “Can… can anyone here fly?” she stammered finally.

Rae blinked in surprise when the man announced he'd go to the controls instead of her, and she watched as he ran for it. "Wai--" She stopped herself when Nico began talking, once more focusing her eyes on him. She nodded, stammering, "uh, y-yeah." Even if we can't land. Right, there was no way everyone here could land a plane by themselves. Their best bet was to soften the crash. Rae nodded again in understanding as Nico started to look through the manual and call out to the girl.
Though right as she stood and prepared to go after the man Nico called Kel, she felt a weight bump into her and, combined with another sway of turbulence, she crashed over a seat. As she struggled to straighten herself back out, she recognized Arlo's voice and scrambled to get upright so she could see the other woman.
"A man - Kel? - just ran up!" Rae answered Arlo. "I was about to go after him. Ah! Do you know how to land?!" It all flooded back then, of not that long ago she'd seen Arlo after she'd 'survived' a plane crash in her own world, though she didn't know if Arlo had been in control then. Man how she hoped at least one of them now had some knowledge how to work this.

Nico’s brows raised and he raced forward, following Sam as best he could. He was no match for him with speed, though, and he was out of snowballs. “Can too!” he retorted, leaning down to grab a snowball before he appeared a few feet in front of Sam, almost stumbling a little bit. He regained his balance and threw the snowball as quickly as he could manage, though he had lost the advantage of surprise. Sam would probably be able to run away from it easily, but Nico could hope, right? He wasn’t quite trembling, but he was getting cold, and his hands were pink from touching the snow without gloves. It was worth it – he felt more alive than he had in months, his eyes bright and his smile wide. “Should we call a truce?” Nico asked, brows raising. Without waiting for an answer, he plopped down into the untouched snow besides them. He stared up at the dreary sky, grateful it had allowed him and Sam this game without Sam being hurt. And, almost without thinking, he began to move his arms and legs up and down, creating a silhouette in the snow. “Care to join me?” he called up to Sam. Well, the snowball had no effect on Samuel, because rather than dodging to avoid it, his hand came up and closed around the snowball that Nico had just tossed. He expected it to explode in a shower of frozen snow, but all that happened was it flaked a bit, firmly caught in his hand. Personally, Sam looked really impressed. He hadn't thought that would happen. He let the snowball drop back to the ground, where it almost became indiscernible from the other snow at that point. He then walked over to Nico, looking down at what he was doing, slightly confused before his brain caught up enough to input this scenario from the movies. Snow angels! The young vampire at once dropped to the ground, looking pleased that he'd gotten it, and started to mimic what Nico was doing. He was starting to get a bit stiff, he'd noticed. It was hard to move his arms and legs. But he didn't say anything about that. "This is fun!" he breathed excitedly. "I haven't done this before."

A familiar voice broke through Arlo’s whirring thoughts and she wrenched her gaze away from the clouds passing the window to find the person who was speaking. Rae? Arlo had known that she was blinking again, but she’d only seen her once recently, after she’d died in an accident very similar to the one currently happening around them... Under other circumstances she would have been happy to see her, but right now, knowing that she had more friends stuck in the situation she and Jasper had been in only made her feel worse. And then she spotted Nico and a kid she didn’t recognize. Why are you doing this, House? It took a moment for her to process the words she was hearing. Every muscle in her body felt tense, her heart was racing. She was stuck on a plane again, plummeting toward the ground again, and this time there may or may not be anyone who could fly it. That name- Kel- sounded sort of familiar, but in the chaos she couldn’t place it, and Rae hadn’t really said whether he could fly or if he was just trying to figure it out. At the question she started to shake her head then paused. “I don’t know- a friend of mine- I’ve watched him fly one before, but I’ve never done it myself.” The last time she’d watched Jasper fly a plane had been recent and hadn’t ended well. Before the crash, had she even been paying attention to what he’d been doing enough to pick up anything useful? “I might be able to figure it out?!” Or she might not... Considering the situation, it was at least something though.

Sol | Airplane room | @ basically everyone |
"Hey, what - " Sol glared in Kelsier's general direction as he pushed past them, heading for the controls-place instead of her and Rae. Great. The number one most panicking person in the whole airplane was gonna be in charge of the controls. "You gonna land a plane with your anxiety?? What's your plan, buddy?"
Well, he wasn't listening, and Sol couldn't make her way to the controls-place without someone to guide her, so instead she turned around, focusing back in on Rae, Nico, and...a new voice.
"Great, can you go help stupid in there?" she asked, pointing in Arlo's general direction. "I don't think he even knows what a plane is. Hey, you - " she swiveled to point at Nico, "and you," she moved a little towards Rae, "In case those two crash us into the ground, do you guys know if this thing has any safety stuff on it? Like, uh..." she waved her hands, thinking. "Like cars have airbags so you don't smash your skull. Or like some weapons have safety latches so you don't shoot yourself in the leg?"

Kelsier | Plane Crash | everyone The voices blended together for Kelsier, and he wished he had tin to help him figure out who all was speaking, but he didn’t actually know if that would have helped. Maybe he was just wishing he had any sort of Allomancy right now. He was Mistborn, he needed his abilities he needed to stop hyperventilating like a frightened child. So what if he was trapped in a small container? So what if it felt like all the air had left his lungs, if panic refused to release its claws from around his racing heart? He bit his tongue, hard, forcing himself to think through the terror clouding his brain. What was wrong with him? He wasn’t afraid of anything. Certainly not the House. And he’d been in plenty of potentially deadly situations before this, and he would be in plenty after it, and he didn’t have time to figure out why he couldn’t breathe, screw breathing, he didn’t need it. He ignored the voices behind him and shoved his way into the other room instead, where he was greeted with… “Oh, hell.” He muttered, then stopped, because his voice was still too high-pitched. If he hadn’t understood what he was facing before, this was much, much worse. He didn’t even know what any of these things were called, much less how to use them. So maybe he as the exact wrong person for the job. Too bad. He seemed to be the only person for the job. And he was not letting a single person here die. He didn’t care how impossible this was, he would figure it out. They were going down too fast. If they didn’t even out this thing, they were going to nose dive right into the water. They needed to slow the fall, they needed to glide, not dive. He moved forward and leaned over the controls, shoving the desire to curl start hitting things into the back of his head. The fear could wait its turn. Well. Things couldn’t exactly get any worse, right? He let out a slightly hysterical laugh and scanned for any sort of instructions or even something to give him the slightest hint as to what any of these things did.

“Someone just go after my d.. Kel!” Nico snapped, eyes widening a little bit at his own slip of the tongue. They really needed to have a conversation about that last room, but that was almost definitely not going to happen now. They had bigger fish to fry. “Planes usually have two pilots, and there aren’t even any planes in his world, so… so one of us probably knows how to fly better than he does!” Was he worried about Kelsier? Undoubtedly. It was far easier to be worried about Kelsier than it was to consider his own fear. He just had to keep not looking out the windows. He would have followed Kelsier to the cockpit if he had thought he’d be able to survive seeing how high they were from the big windows instead of these smaller ones. It took him a few moments to realize Sol was addressing him. “Oh… I uh… I found the safety manual,” he called back. “If… if you feel above you, against where you’re leaning… it says child safety vests, can you reach them?” Hopefully, she’d realize he was addressing her this time. “I’m looking for anything else that could help.” He was, even though his hands were shaking just a little bit too much to easily read the safety manual. In case of emergency landing… “Flotation devices…” he muttered, trying to follow he diagram. No, those were masks for breathing… what was even the point of those? Was it supposed to help if they were losing altitude? Sure, Nico was suffering from a lack of oxygen, but it was his own damn fault for hyperventilating. He didn’t think the oxygen masks were really going to make that much of a difference. He didn’t know if Rae or Arlo was going to go help Kelsier fly, but he figured he had a job now, and he better do it. “I think…” he reached under the seat, trying to feel for the flotation device the manual seemed to mention. His eyes widened as he instead accidentally yanked an entire piece of plastic out from under, but he tossed it to his side and kept feeling.

Rae | Plane Crash | Everyone "That's better than nothing!" Even without technical knowledge, at least something of a first hand viewing would be more useful than everyone else currently combined. Rae gripped the back of the seats hard as she hoisted herself back to her feet and steadied against the constant bumps.
Sol barking orders actually sounded more sensible than anything Rae had heard so far. "They should," she said, and nodded to Nico without thinking of the visible action. "Ah, yeah Nico's gonna figure it out." She watched the boy clearly struggling, but they all needed to do their own tasks to make sure they made it out alive. And Rae had suspected as much, but Nico confirmed the fact Kel wouldn't have any idea about what a plane did. Two people from worlds with the same technology would be a better bet.
Another pang hit Rae's chest before she could act and she clawed at her shirt. Hold on a bit longer, she told herself, feeling the sweat beginning to race down her face. The ever growing lump in her throat was persistent in not wanting her to breath, but she forced painfully past it and straightened up as much as she could. "Arlo, let's go up!" she called. "And kid, help Nico out please!" She cast Nico a quick glance, silently promising to him that she'd be back, and motioned for Arlo to follow her as she made her way after Kelsier.

[[ Arlo || plane crash || dawnsky strider raintalon hawkpath ]] Trying to listen to what the others were saying seemed to help her mind stay a bit clearer, so Arlo forced herself to focus on the words being said around her. According to the unfamiliar girl, the man Rae had mentioned didn’t even know what a plane was. “Oh great,” she muttered. Not too surprising, considering the assortment of worlds the blinkers came from, but unfortunate. If that was the case, then she probably was the better option, even if the last plane she’d been in had crashed. Even if she had died. Technically it wasn’t the crash itself that killed you, she reminded herself. “Yeah, seems worth a try at least!” she agreed with Rae. It wasn’t like she could make the situation much worse than what they were already dealing with. Arlo waited for Rae to move before heading after her, her steps more steady now, though she still needed to grab the seats occasionally as the plane bumped along. She didn’t want to think about the last crash, but if it would help save the others she would do it.

Myrnin took the proffered clothing item, though he didn't mention the fact it wouldn't help much. It would keep heat from escaping as fast, but it wouldn't mean that he actually regained any of it. He'd take what he could get though. The information about the stone just sent him humming. He personally couldn't say he had much stance on the matter all things considered, but if he could have gotten his hands on one of those rocks in his own world he would have enjoyed being able to work out the finer details of what Rowlin had just said. He was surprisingly quiet as Rowlin explained a bit of his history. He was a bit surprised by Rowlin's history. He thought the other vampire was older. "I'm a little over two-thousand years old," he elaborated. He might have said more, but Rowlin had just face planted into the snow. He could almost hear his back cracking (correction, he could) as he bent over, extending a stiff hand to Rowlin to try and help him up. "Are you often this clumsy?" he asked, an eyebrow rising as he said it. "Or are you only like that around company." It was amusing, needless to say. Anyway, he could at least assist the other vampire. "Why is the crystal on your wrist asking like that, then? Are we close to something or is that, like, your alarm to do the dishes or something?" His eyebrows were a bit too incrusted with ice to wiggle around in a joking manner. He settled for widening his eyes a little.

Kelsier | Plane Crash | everyone It would have helped if Kelsier had so much as known what a button was. Or a lever. Or any of this, in fact. As it was, all he knew was that lives depended on him learning really quickly, He swore quietly, straightening up, staring at the controls. There were no instructions, of course there weren’t. That would have been too easy. He leaned over the controls again. His hands were shaking, badly...he caught himself watching them for a moment and tore his gaze away, looking out the window instead. Bad idea. They were currently hurtling downward. Which, surprisingly, didn’t seem to be the scariest thing about this situation. Well…if he didn’t do something, they were all going to die. Maybe it was time to start hitting things after all. He was about to start touching the little colored circles when he heard people approaching and glanced up sharply. “Hi.” He said, his voice a strange combination of strangled and light as he saw the other two blinkers, He smiled, though it didn’t do anything to mask the panic in his eyes, and tried to think of something else to say, but his mind was refusing to cooperate. He tried to take a breath. It didn’t work. Was there actually no air or was that just a side effect of whatever was happening to him? Focus! He turned away from them, back to the controls. “No instructions.” He said, mostly for their benefit. “Looks like we’re winging this.” Yes, because when you’re trapped in a metal container hurtling towards your death, that’s the perfect time for puns.

Sol | Airplane room | strider specifically but anyone |"Oh yeah, where it says child safety vests. I'll just go ahead and read that," deadpanned Sol, but she reached up anyway, feeling around until, to her surprise, her fingers grazed over a series of familiar little bumps, spelling out Child Safety Vests. "Huh," she said, and felt along the edge of the compartment until she found the latch. She pulled, and it came off completely, showering her in...well, stuff. "Is this what you wanted?" she asked, picking up one of the objects and holding it up for Nico to look at. It was, in fact, a floatation device, one of the many that had just fallen on the girl's head.

Kelsier hadn’t intended to ruin the mood, but he didn’t regret telling Myrnin what had happened. Or..not what had happened, but a little about Mare. He couldn’t really speak of flowers without mentioning her, now could he? “I don’t know whether they would grow in my world.” He admitted, smiling a little. It was small, but genuine. “But I don’t suppose it could hurt anything to try. Still...I would like to see your favorite kind of flower, if it wouldn’t be too much trouble.” He hesitated, but he found he wanted to tell Myrnin the truth. “Yes.” He said simply. “It is. I decided I would make her dream a reality. A world with soft green plants and flowers, where ash doesn’t choke the sky and fall like snow...I will bring that world.” He gave a small, rueful laugh. “They’re right, you know. I’m insane.” He turned his attention back to the cookies, focusing on the oven instead. “Maybe?” He answered, narrowing his hazel eyes at the contraption. “I did something, and it’s hot now, so...yes. The oven is sorted.”

Each step felt like a drag as gravity and turbulence threatened Rae's balance, but she'd made her way to the cockpit in one piece. And there was Kelsier, fumbling to figure out what must have seemed like a million odd buttons and dials lighting up the dashboard. Rae bit into her cheek at the sight herself; she hoped they didn't need to understand all of those...
"Of course there isn't," Rae breathed out. Did pilots have instructions sitting around usually or were they expected to know everything off the top of their head? Didn't matter. She eyed the control wheels, the only semi-recognizable thing, and moved up beside Kelsier. Right, winging it. "We need to use these," she told him. Though when the plane shifted again into another angle, Rae braced against the console, which caught her attention to just how close the hard waves of ocean were closing in. Oh crap.
Her throat throbbed in time with her increasing heartrate, and within a second she dropped to her knees. She couldn't look, everything had begun to spin and it was getting harder and harder to ignore her body's desperate attempt to shut down. Rae forced in a breath, then out again. One. Two. Three. What was it with planes? How did the wheels work? "P-Pull--" Four. Five. A trembling hand reached to her chest, finding the dangling crystal which she squeezed tightly. Six. Seven. Eight. She couldn't lose herself here. She could do this. "Sorry. Sorry," Rae managed as she wiped at her clammy face. Nine. "The...the control stick thing. Can you get in and pull one towards you?" she asked Kelsier, shakily pointing to one of the wheels. Ten. Okay. Okay! "Arlo?" She looked to her friend as the worst of her reaction passed. "Do you know how? Or-Or do you need me to try the other?"

Orpheus may not have been L’s first friend, but he had already become a close one, in spite of L not having known him for very long. In that time, his life had been saved already, and he found he looked forward to seeing Orpheus when he blinked in. Whether or not he was a good friend...he couldn’t answer that, since he was himself and he didn’t actually know what made a friend good as opposed to bad. The things he had done, he had done because he wanted to. True, he had wanted to because he seemed to want Orpheus to be happy, but...his motivations still felt selfish. Being selfish didn’t tend to bother him, but in this case he couldn’t help feeling worried about it. He listened, considering Orpheus’ words. They made sense, he supposed. He did find it easy to care about Orpheus and he enjoyed listening to him, music and words alike. He wasn’t sure he believed they were meant to friends, but he could believe they worked together, couldn’t he? He could believe that some people clicked easier than others, and it seemed obvious that they clicked quite well. He found it very easy to want to be Orpheus’ friend, and he couldn’t help being pleased that Orpheus seemed to want to be his friend, too. Still...it seemed very selfish of him to have a friend when he was so likely to die. “There isn’t much.” He said quietly, meeting Orpheus’ eyes, his own expression still frightened but also something else. If it was selfish of him to have a friend, to make a new one, then maybe he would just have to be selfish, because he found he didn’t want to push Orpheus away. “Better than nothing.” He repeated, and he didn’t look away for even a second. He wasn’t sure he could allow himself to be reassured like this, but he also wasn’t sure he could help it…Orpheus meant what he said. He was going to be there for L even though he couldn’t control his blinks, even though logically it shouldn’t have been possible for him to do that. “I believe you.” He murmured, almost sounding surprised at himself. This was so dangerous, believing in someone, believing Orpheus when he said he would be there. He told himself firmly that it wasn’t trust. Of course it wasn’t trust, how could it be, he didn’t know Orpheus that well. Only he felt like he did. It was too late to take it back. He was already trapped, if Orpheus were to betray him now...it would hurt very badly. “I believe you.” He repeated, and his voice was a little steadier this time. “If this….is my last blink...well, you’ve been a good friend, too.”

| Enjolras | Hallway | Enjolras blinked into the House. He looked around, taking in the familiar look of the Living Room. The drab carpet, the bookshelf, the couch. And those beanbags, which were there sometimes. For the moment he was alone, but he figured others would blink in soon. Sometimes it just took a couple of minutes. But the House seemed eerily quiet for some reason. He put his hands in his pockets and shifted his stance, fidgeting a bit. After a few minutes, Enjolras headed towards the hallway. Hypothetically the House could just throw him in there alone for hours, even if that rarely, if ever, happened to blinkers. He figured he might as well explore a bit. He started down the hallway, one hand still in his pocket as he strolled. He reached the end of the first branch and took a left, walking down the expansive labyrinth of hallways. The gas lights flickered, keeping the hallway lit but not bright. It felt... odd to be alone in this place. The House felt large, larger than it did when it was a group together in the little living room.

Kid | Hallway Kid blinked in, his had dipping to reveal his scruffy, badly cut hair. He adjusted it as soon as he saw where he was. As the House liked to do, it had blinked him in with his thief outfit. He was a bit surprised to appear at all really. With that in mind, he didn't see anyone in the living room, but could hear the vague sound of footsteps out in the hall. He stepped into it, glancing around even after he noticed Enjolras. "Hey," he said, pleased to see someone he recognized. "Anything interesting going on yet?" Honestly, he'd liked to know if anything interesting was going on recently in the House at all. He ... still didn't know what to do here. He was starting to suspect that the House was keeping him away because he wasn't interesting to it anymore. That was saddening. He wasn't able to watch his remaining friends here grow and change. He wasn't able to watch the House change. It made him wonder whether it would either stop letting him appear or leave it long enough that it would feel like he was the newbie next time he blinked in. Or maybe it was waiting for him to find some sort of purpose just as much as Kid was. He shook that idea out of his head and instead picked up his pace until he was walking next to Enjolras. One thing was nice about the House ... He took off his gloves. He was damn tired of keeping his scared hands hidden. Most people who'd seen him in the House thus far knew about them by now though. So he could put the gloves away. As usual, it was a bit of a fumble to get the white gloves off and then more so to put them away into a pocket once he had. But while he did that, he asked Enjolras, "We doing a room?"

Or I could make it more resilient if you brought some of what your soil was like. I'd work something out." He really did sound like he intended to do just that. He shook his head slowly as well. "It wouldn't be too much trouble. As I said, I can figure it out. And see about my favorite flower, though it might be too big to drag around. Huuum. I'll find something." If the House allowed it, that was. He nodded several times after Kelsier told him that this was what he wanted. "I'll help with that too. You have to start somewhere. So we can start with me. See if that will help. Then you can bring that world. My world to your." Then there was just a tiniest of grins. "Insane people get things done. Often a lot faster than anyone sane could." For good or ill ... The oven was sorted, so Myrnin put the cookie in. He couldn't feel the heat, but he could see the waves of it distorting the inside of the oven. This would be interesting. He closed the front of it. Now to wait. He indicated the gingerbread house. "We maybe can do that while we wait for the cookies to finish. If you wanted."

Arlo blinked into the living room, taking her notebook out of her pocket before taking her coat off and tossing it onto the table with a sigh. Both she and the coat were a bit damp, like she’d fallen into the ocean- again- and hadn’t really had the chance to dry completely. She started to open the book but stopped when she realized she’d blinked. At first the room around her seemed empty, but then she heard a familiar voice from the hall and started briskly toward the doorway, wanting to catch up before the others went through a door and closed it. Arlo paused briefly as the others came into view, Kaito, who she’d heard from the other room, and Enjolras. Had she actually seen Enjolras since she’d come back..? Her blinks had blurred together a bit, it was hard to remember what had happened when. “Hey,” she started as she continued toward them. “Mind if I join you two?”

| Enjolras | Hallway | With Kid and Arlo | Enjolras turned carefully, hearing footsteps. His stance was guarded, cautious, until he recognized Kid as a fellow blinker as he approached. "Nothing too exciting. Luckily for us, the House seems to keep all the excitement behind those doors." He nodded to the long line of doors. "I've been meeting a lot of people my past couple blinks, though, so it's odd to find the House so quiet." Kid's fumbling with the gloves caught his eye and he glanced down briefly at his scarred hands, but Enjolras looked back up quickly and said nothing. The House brought in folks from all sorts of worlds- many more dangerous than his own. It was not his place to pry. "I'd say ye-" Enjolras started to answer Kid about the room, but cut off when he heard a familiar voice. One he thought he would not hear again. They weren't in a room yet, so this couldn't be the House messing with them- could it be? "Arlo?" He asked, tentative yet hopeful.

Steve | Hallway | Open Steve blinked into the house positioned in mid-swing, firm hands grasping tightly onto the handle of a decorated baseball bat. The weapon had been embedded with sharp nails jutting out its intimidating frame. Perspiration trickled down his bruised forehead, his startled brown eyes darted from the hallway walls to the other blinkers. His heart continued to beat at a dangerous tempo. The sickly visage of the Demogorgon was no longer in his poor line of sight but instead replaced far friendlier faces. That, of course, made him lower his bat but he held onto it for good measure. Right beside the motley crew were doors after all...

Nico’s eyes widened as Sam, rather than being hit by the snowball, just managed to catch it. He hadn’t expected that. It was, if he were being honest, rather impressive. He was also rather proud of the fact that it had apparently been packed tight enough that it didn’t explode on impact. “Nice,” he commented, a hint of a smile on his features. He watched as the snowball fell, blending in with the rest of the snow. It was so white. No filthy brown sludge from the traffic of the city. It had been a long time since Nico had seen snow like this. He glanced up at Sam from where he was laying in the snow, wondering for a long moment if his friend was going to join him. He seemed pleased as he did, the two of them spread apart just enough to make the snow angels. “I don’t know if I’ve ever done this before,” Nico admitted, tilting his head a little bit. “If I have, I can’t remember it. But… it felt right.” He stopped a few moments later, sure the angel was defined enough, and just laid there, staring at the cloudy sky. “This was fun,” he admitted after a long moment, glancing in Sam’s direction. He was mostly hidden by the undisturbed snow.

“Yeah!” Nico called at Sol, moving forward. “I… I didn’t expect them all to fall down,” he admitted, sounding rather ashamed of himself. He should have known that would happen with how erratically the plane was moving. “So… while they’re all trying to fly the plane we should probably make sure we survive if they fail.” He was still breathing rather hard, but he was more focused on making sure they survived than he was on his own panic. “Put… put your head through the hole in the middle,” He suggested, getting close enough to pull one closer to himself. Was he still technically a child? Would the child safety device fit him? Well… he would have to try it for now. He tried to put it on, then pulled on the cord that said “pull here.” It immediately inflated. He stumbled a few moments later, falling into a chair a few feet away, but he found the inflated vest at least made his landing a little bit softer. Now they just needed to find the adult ones.

Kid | "Open the Door" Room Well, since there seemed to be a small collection of people in the hallway at this point, Kid nodded once. He didn't pay any attention to how Enjolras was addressing Arlo, unaware of what that might mean. He did wave to Steve, since it seemed like he was here for the time being and that made a good collection of four people. The wave was a bit stiff. He wasn't completely able to extend his fingers without difficulty. He glanced once around, then said simply, "I'll open a door then." Which was exactly what he did. He pushed open one of the doors, stepping into the new room. The room was decently small. Maybe the size of a small bedroom. He glanced around, at the fact there was a door still open behind him and a door directly ahead of him. To his left, there was a side-table, with a bowl placed on top of it as decoration. A picture hung above the table. To the right, there was a window frame. Beside the door, there was a glowing set of letters: Open the door to win"Uh ... sure House," muttered Kid.

[[ Arlo 2 || hallway/open the door room || everyone ]] Enjolras’ tone was enough for Arlo to guess the answer to her unasked question. Either this was the first time he’d seen her since she’d returned, or it was the first him he’d realized that he’d seen her since she’d returned- in the chaos of certain blinks it could be pretty easy to miss a blinker or two. A slight smile forming on her lips, she nodded. “Yeah. I…” she paused, trying to think of the right words. ‘Made it’? Not exactly, despite the fact that she was standing there talking to him. ‘Was okay’? Also not exactly. “Came back… somehow,” She decided finally. Her understanding of the ‘somehow’ still wasn’t very clear. “Glad to see you again- it’s been quite awhile.”Both hearing and sensing the energy of yet another blinker, she glanced over her shoulder and spotted an unfamiliar… Newbie? It was hard to say, considering the recent spacing of her blinks. From what others had mentioned, it seemed as if a great deal of ‘time’ was passing in the House, in what had only been a bit over a week in her own world. “Hey, are you okay?” He seemed to have blinked in from a pretty bad situation. “I think we’re about to try a door, if you want to join.”As Kid spoke again, Arlo turned back to watch him choose and enter one of the many rooms before following. “Well, this is different...” It was probably the most normal room she’d ever seen, aside from the message on the wall, which probably meant that it would be far from normal. She glanced from the message to the other door, briefly tucking her notebook under her chin so she could reach up with her messily wrapped hands and tie her slightly damp hair back as usual since there didn’t appear to be an immediate threat. “I guess we could try it? Sounds like a trick though…” She took a couple steps toward the other door, then paused and glanced up at the painting, looking for anything that might give less obvious hints. Why give someone a puzzle and tell them how to solve it right at the start?

| Enjolras | Just a few more doors | With Kid, Arlo, and Steve | Enjolras took in her tentative explanation for how she was here in the House. But really, he didn't need to know the full details to know that she was back, that the House had returned its first blinker to its halls once again. A genuine smile appeared on his face. "It certainly has- I'm glad to see you too, Arlo." As Steve blinked in swinging a bat, Enjolras jumped a step back to avoid being hit. Recovering from the surprise, he nodded once in greeting. "Looks like your world's pretty eventful right now?" Enjolras caught the frame of the door as Kid went in to hold it open so the whole group could go in together. Inside, the small room was decorated much like the rest of the House- normal but drab, and quite claustrophobic. The window was frosted over so one couldn't see outside. The door ahead (helpfully labeled DOOR) looked much the same as the other House doors. "Open the door to win." Enjolras read aloud suspiciously. "Isn't that the entire theme of the House?"

living room | @ anyone A young girl blinked in near the corner of the living room, hunched over a collection of varied bags where she dug out several wrappers of food. Her scrawny form clearly showed she was in desperate need of a good meal, and not to mention if someone came close enough they'd get a whiff of the dumpster odor she carried. Unkept blonde hair fell in her face, and she seemed none the wiser to her new surroundings, appearing too preoccupied with her findings to pay much mind to the house.

Living Room | Anyone A young man wearing all black and a long hooded coat blinked in, looking at his reflection in a knife, a small smile on his face. “...oh?” He said quietly, looking up as he noticed the change in his surroundings. He turned a little, then stopped, noticing the other person there. He watched her for a long moment, then tilted his head a little, considering her. Admitting he had no idea what had just happened or where he was was no good. He needed more information first, and the absolute best way to get answers was, naturally, to pretend you already had them.

Percival | Living Room | Aaaaaaaanyone "We might need to -" started the man who just blinked in, appearing mid-sentence and mid-step, angled in a way that he must have been talking to someone beside him. His style of dress looked like it was out of history, but not so far back from the 21st century that it was too dated. Give or take early 1900s fashion. Even still, he'd clearly been taken out of something and from the way his eyes widened, he didn't like it. Spinning this way and that, he was tensed up, completely ready for something to occur. "Were am I?" he hissed.
