Nice poof me, xD sorry about that. And I love that sketch Falcon. )
Sherlock considered this, leaning suddenly to the side in time to dodge another bowling ball acorn. He was getting pretty good at this. "Well, yes, gravity wouldn't have changed." He agreed thoughtfully. "Consider dropping a bug. They don't go splat, partly because they don't have bones but also because they're so small that they don't weigh enough to fall heavily, same reason elephants can die from tripping." Okay, so he just happened to know these things. High-functioning sociopaths get bored too. "Although yes, if it's the tree that's large instead of us being small than I don't doubt I would die an impact. Even if I am small, my neck or back could easily break." He was talking about his own death quite calmly for it being extremely possible at the moment. He peered downward and discovered he could now see the ground. "We're getting closer, but it'll still be a bit at this rate." He added aloud. "I think I'll try falling a ways and catch another leaf."
(Also yeah, that sounds right to me. Good to know the Paradox House obeys the laws of physics sometimes anyway. )

(only long enough to make everyone feel safe I would assume xD )
"Oh yes, marvelous idea." Ghost's voice was thick with sarcasm. "You do that." Taking creative initiative by using leaves as makeshift gliders was something the robot could admire. Choosing to abandon a perfectly good solution simply for "thrills" made no sense whatsoever. "I'll send flowers to your funeral."

Yeah, probably. )
"Falling is faster." Sherlock pointing out irritably. "We've been up here for ages, how long do you think the House is going to be interesting in watching us glide? Sooner or later, it's bound to send something more deadly than acorns, and it might be a bit safer for us on the ground." The detective looked down again, waiting for a good opportunity. "Wild flowers, by the way, if you really must." He added, almost as an afterthought.

Ghost's eyebrows rose a little at the last part, but Dint comment. "Who is to say the ground is any safer?" He asked. "Being airborne is generally considered safer than being on the ground, and easier to defend from." An acorn zipped past, clipping the stem off Ghost's leaf and sending him into a slow spin. "But," He added, leaning to try and get the spinning to stop, I see your reasoning." (Hey!! Wb )

"How did you put it? I'll go splat if I fall." Sherlock looked over at the robot in time to see him spinning and gave a satisfied look. "Well, if you've caught on now this is as good a time as any. Just remember to take the wind speed and distance below you into account." And with that, he leaned sideways and let go, spreading his arms and legs to slow his descent as he plummeted towards the ground. For a moment it looked as if he would miss, but then he kicked forward and caught a brightly coloured leaf near the ground.

"Which is why you should stay on your leaf!" Ghost called after the falling man, then rolled his eyes. As a computer, he had to take those things and about 50 other variables into account every time he took a step. Extending the laser cannon out of his back, the shepherd shot two holes through his leaf and began to fall faster, drifting after Sherlock.
(Should the ground be trapped or no?)

Hmm, Idk. Maybe they could be attacked by killer Trick-or-Treating children or something. Or be forced to carve a pumpkin. )
Sherlock looked up, seeing the dog drifting down faster before his own leaf turned upside down, then up again, then dumped him unceremoniously an the leaf strewn ground. An oversized worm hole was nearby, and the detective took a couple cautious steps back before looking up again. "I made it, didn't I?" He called triumphantly, giving his surroundings a quick glance just to make sure his coat hadn't landed nearby. Of course, it was no where in sight.

(We'll probably have a Halloween room at the end of the month but we should definitely use those then XD What if the tree fell? Or like, all of the acorns started falling at once?)
Ghost leaped off his ride and landed a little ways away from Sherlock. "I just hope the exit isn't at the top of the tree." He muttered, looking up into the branches that might as well have been a million miles overhead. Because there was little chance they could ever get back up.

(Those are good ideas. )
Sherlock shaded his eyes so he could squint upwards, but only for a second before turning back to the rest of his surroundings. "I doubt the House would make the escape impossible." He reasoned, beginning to walk in a random direction. "You have to remember, this is a likely a sentient being. From what I can tell, we're entertainment. And if that's true, it won't want to watch us wander in pointless circles, so the exit must be accessible, although I doubt we've reached the last of the traps, too easy and quickly dealt with."

(Hello! Hop in guys, seriously xD The more the merrier. )
"If that is the case," Ghost replied, still sounding dubious to the whole 'the house is alive' thing, "Then it's hardly a stretch to assume that the exit is without a predetermined location. It could be placed anywhere at this entity's discretion." The shepherd took and few steps sideways as a leaf drifted past where he had been standing.

( Ghost and Sherlock are standing on the ground under a HUGE fall tree. They just floated down from one of the upper branches on some of the leaves and are now trying to figure out what to do next. xD )
