Amazing. I just came in completely unrelated to the poll to actually mention to you that I was talking to someone about the content of the poll. XD
I like how you used fixed points but still told your own story! It was really nice!
Were your ears burning yesterday? XD I was talking about you.

Beeheart's name was not in chapters 13 and 15 I read both chapters and didn't see it I'll have to recheck. I may have forgotten to add her in but she does appear in the POTLUCK story about Indipaw going to ShadowClan. (Breaking the Rules) And I should have her in Chapter 6 and 7, and maybe 8, as Beepaw. She is in Chap 11 & 12 as Beeheart, but nowhere else beyond. She does survive the battle tho.

I'm reading the new arc and discovered the Leafpool is dead?? I don't remember that happening in the last arc! Geez guess I have to know for my current story which is around the same time as the new arc, several years later!

Ouch. Time for new stories. I continue to love how you write AUs. Thanks:-) This one is tricky since it occurs after the new arc! The Moonpool freezing is a problem?? Geez it would freeze just like the lake if not more because its a smaller body of water. But we'll see. I already appaently altered the weather patterns with my cold snowy leaf bares LOL

It might have to do with a slight change of altitude perhaps? Or the river leading too/from the moonpool keeps it moving enough to limit freezing? Unsure, to be honest. XD

XD I suppose it depends on how big the moonpool is but it certainly is too big for them to attempt to walk across and thus is a small streamfed pond of sorts. Altitude would make it more susceptible to freezing. It never ever crpossed my mind reading all the books that the n moonpool never froze before now. And in NEW BLOOD, it freezes every winter LOL

I mean ... I don't get why it wouldn't freeze? Underground heating? I'm ... just not sure there's anything other than a fantasy reason for it not to freeze, so I can't actually think of anything other than the possiblity that the lake is actually a higher altitude than the moonpool and that the river from the lake flows into the moonpool instead of the other way around? But that doesn't fit.

But that doesn't fit. Nope it doesn't fitbecause they travel uphil to it. Maybe this new arc will reveal something and if so, I'll alter NEW BLOOD to accommodate LOL.
But if it is some underground heat source, that wouldn't fit either since geologically if the setting is similar to England there are no geothermic characteristics there. But with a fantasy world I suppose anything goes. . .

True, true. It's a place like England, and that doesn't make sense. Then again, there aren't mountain lions in England either, so we're already a bit warping on the things England does and doesn't have.

LOL and the coyotes I introduced as an invasive species that somehow got transported to the place the clans live in. But since the Clans are not aware of where they are on the globe, it really could be any temperate climate,--like New England and in New England, heheheheh that Moonpool would freeze solid by Christmas. . .. I am curious now if this is the case in the books where freezing is the cause of all that happens in this arc. They've had snowy and hard leaf bares in previous arcs. I just hope it doesn't make me groan. . .

Have you ever looked up the old forest on Google Maps? It's really cool how close it is to the maps in the first series.
Good luck! Hopefully you wont have to fix anything!

I wonder if they based their maps on it? When I get a chance I will have to look. I guess if an AU can gave characters that change things, I suppose a colder change in climate is not unrealistic? Frozen lake and Moonpool are common in the NEW BLOOD stories.

They did indeed! I looked over it and all they changed was the direction of the river and added Mothermouth. True enough! And added roe deer.
