then again that is after all everyone in the Figaro continuity. they managed to make a teenager hiding in a closet out to be the most suspenseful crap so man anything is possible I'm certain Susanna is the only sane person within miles of that place lmao @ - Are you talking about Cherubino? Omg lmao. Seriously, I loved Susanna. I liked her better than literally everyone (except Figaro, because I thought he was hilarious XD)
anime fan? divider by xxliving the black paradexx on glittergraphics.comCherubino is like most teenagers in that he serves to make everything even more dramatic than it already is. (sadly he can't be a teenager in Ensemble because Ensemble takes place before Marriage of Figaro so he's still an innocent preteen in it rip) Susanna is the best, she is Phenomenal. It's no surprise she and Figaro were basically my role models as a kid lmao (although seriously they're both great and good characters and I love them both)

Susanna might find Figaro to be dumb, and Figaro think Susannna to be... prissy? Idk, hope that makes sense. I'm really keen on seeing their relationship~ :3

Well, Jamilton is alexander hamilton and thomas jefferson.
grofflin is not actually hamilton characters, it's the cast members. lin manuel-miranda, the guy who made hamilton and plays hamilton in the show, and jonathon groff, the guy who plays king george (III).

my edits around with it are basically adding more maddening love dodecahedrons, more LGBT cats, and giving Donna Anna someone who actually cares about her and isn't that Don Ottavio dweeb lmao
Leporello seems to only exist for one purpose, and that is to be like a chew toy to everyone around him.

rp fanatics click here divider by xxliving the black paradexx on glittergraphics.comthey're cats. nothing is too over dramatic for them i have no idea why Don Ottavio is even in Don Giovanni. like everyone else is a complex, interesting character, and theyre all pretty fun to watch, except for Ottavio who sticks out like a sore thumb. he isn't even a good fiancé either, he's basically like "lol your dad died and you're in a state of psychological trauma; let's marry each other now". nobody likes him lmao so some directors turn around like "YO she doesn't need Ottavio" which is Good but then they have this weird affair thing going on with the Don and Donna Anna as well??? like no??? didn't you see how she described the whole neginning scene??? did you not see THE DON KILLED HER DAD!?! it's really gross and a lot of Yikes i have found however that there is one character absolutely perfect for Donna Anna, and now that I have the story's controls they're going to be A Thing and nobody can stop me

yeah he sucks "hey Donna Anna how about we marry now" "sorry but I'm kind of going through a mental crisis right now can't really comply" "why??? are you so cruel to me??? :'((((( you are a heartless being" people trying to make the Don heroic (or less villainous) are honestly horrible. god no. Just Stop Already in Ensemble, since almost all rich cats are pets, Donna Anna is kind of forced into being "in love" with Ottavio by her human owners (who don't see that Anna doesn't have much of an interest in him or most other toms for that matter). So she has to play along and be his fiancé or whatever while stealthily continuing to push the date of their marriage back (because cats can still set up their own marriages in Ensemble, even though this is hidden to humans as is the rest of opera cats acting like people).

He may have been a hero during those times (we don't know, and look at his ending; debatable), but these are much different times...
Ok, lol. "Yeah, that day doesn't work for me.... Can we push it to June? Ehhh, next year isn't the right season..."

The Don (and the Commander and Leporello by extension) was originally created by a monk who made the original Don Juan play to basically be a callout post to the Evil Partying Kids(TM) like the Don. And given that Mozart's subtitle for it is "The Rake Punished", the Don is a definite villain Donna Anna has postponing levels I aspire to.

people try to prove all sorts of weird points about the Don. I've seen some truly strange arguments on him- none of them are solid, obviously

he pretty much abuses everyone in the entire opera and then gets sent to hell. people try their damndest (pun not intended) to make him a hero. rarely works. there's even a few productions where they have Leporello sent to hell instead for no reason. It makes no sense

Leporello used to be portrayed as a gleeful henchman (or on occasion a wet blanket that stopped the Don from "having fun") around the time the Don was interpreted as a hero. It's a good thing things have changed now

As someone on DeviantArt put it so well, Leporello IS the short end of the stick. I mean, throughout he opera, he's abused, manipulated, straight up almost KILLED a few times, and then gets to witness two different deaths. Fun for him, is it not?
