(I'm soooooo sorry! I've had a super busy spring break, and haven't had a chance to pop in and mention it! And congrats on Hollowsky!)
Lunaflower snuffles her last heartbeat, and walks down slowly from the tree. She jumps, but it was awkward, and she ended up landing softly atop of Swiftcloud. They postion would mostly likely be described as a pin position, but her nose was very near his. Blood rushes to her ears, and she stays in the position, too scared to remove herself from this situation. Oh. My. Starclan. Help me!
![]() ![]() Just look up into goolge "cat pinning a cat" and its the first pciture of kittens playing.
Firepaw steps out of the apprentice den, hearing the announcement of Hollowsky. He runs to the small crowd of warriors and apprentices, and looks up at him excitedly. I wanna be deputy one day! Maybe even leader. I'll be known for my crazy ideas! He grins up at Swanstar, hoping that she'll anoint him. He swallows, with the petty taste of herbs left in his mouth.
Sunfall jumps slightly, awaking from his daydream, and walks into the direction of the High-Ledge. He silently congratulates Hollowsky. Being a deputy or leader didn't exactly suit him, it made him feel very responsible, and that was not a good feeling for him.

(Somehow I hadn't been aware that it was my turn. Whoops!)
Emotions weren't something that Hollowsky could describe well, but as Swanstar spoke those words to him, even he couldn't mistake that feeling in his chest as anything but pride. He did his best to serve the clan, but he never did think about being a deputy. Bowing his head in respect, the tom spoke solemnly "It is my honor to serve this clan"

Swanstar made her way to the camp entrance again, pleased with her choice, and knowing that StarClan had shown her who to choose. She flicked her tail, waiting for the cats who were to leave with her, watching as the clan congratulated their new deputy.
Swiftcloud chuckled as Lunaflower landed atop him, and felt her pelt heat up, "Are you alright?" He murmured.
Lionkit walked up to Hollowsky and dipped his head at the tom, "Congratulations! You'll be an amazing deputy!" He meowed.
Embersong purred at Sunfall and made her way over to welcome the new deputy.

Rather than congratulate Hollowsky, Palepaw proceeded to follow Swanstar over to the entrance of the camp. She figured Hollowsky was already getting plenty of attention, and if anything, she'd probably just give in her support later.
Hollowsky dipped his head in response, still feeling a little weird about all of this. "I appreciate your words Lionkit, and I certainly will do my best to be an...amazing deputy"
(Sounds like it was rough, everything good?)

(It was, and everything is fine now, I just have a cheap father who thought a generator was not in our budget to buy, could've used it though, it got COLD, we actually had to bring our horse, dog, and ducks into our garage to keep them warm)

[ all my doggies stay inside with the family c': theyd end up keeping us warm. a few years ago our power went out during a bad snowstorm. it was so cold we had to leave ]
Sandyclaw made his way to Swanstar. "Be careful." He meowed, watching as the cats chosen for the trip began to trail after the leader. "We don't need you injured or losing any lives."
Spottedkit waved at the group of cats leaving. "Good luck!" She squeaked, spotting Firepaw in the crowd and waving her tail at him.
Alderpaw smiled at Hollowsky but didn't say a word. Instead he turned towards the entrance and slowly made his way over. He wasn't at all eager to leave. What if StarClan doesn't speak to me? What if we encounter rogues or dogs? Oh StarClan help me!

Swanstar looked at Sandyclaw, "If I do, I'll still have eight left." She lifted her chin, "And if we get attacked, I'd rather go down hurt than an apprentice or one of the others, I can afford to lose a life, while they cannot." She broke into a purr and licked his cheek, "Watch over the Clan for me, I'll be back soon."
(It's my mom's rule that our dog isn't allowed in the house, she's a hunting dog and her first instinct after we bathe her is to go and mask her scent in the horse dung. She is somewhat big andd extremely hyper, and we have carpet, so her claws are not a happy thing for that. She's a German Shorthair-Lab mix. I might have a picture of her somewhere)

"Just be safe." Sandyclaw purred, letting his normally stern face soften up. He felt his ears burn and he shook himself to hide his embarrassment. "Oh I will. Maybe by the time you get back I'll be Sandystar."
[ thhat sucks :/ my puppy sleeps with me and idk what id do without her at night. plus we cant really just let her stay out. she'd just run off haha. but i assume you have a lot of land or at least a decent amount o: id love to see a picture i love dogs. my baby is already my pic so c': ]

"Don't worry Sandyclaw, I'll keep her safe!" Palepaw piped up from her spot next to Swanstar, feeling slightly braver around her mentor. Even so, the thought of something happening to the larger cat made her a little uneasy. She needed Swanstar!

(I didn't let my dad clip her tail, so she still has a full one, and she is about 5 now, she was 8 weeks old in the puppy picture, right after we got her. She's my baby though, and I love her. We also have about 6 1/2 acres)
Swanstar mock-glared at her deputy, "Oh? Vying for my position are we?" At her apprentices words she looked gently at her, "If something were to happen, I'd want you out of harm's way. Promise me that Palepaw."
