WELCOME
You have heard tales about a place by the rocky cliffs near the ocean inhabited by cats, but to you they were only tales. What Clan could possibly survive at just the mercy of the ocean and wind? Well, somehow they have done it. Although they can not control the climate and storms, they know what they must do to survive. They are very rescourseful and cunning, and are usually shut away from the world. Today however, is the first time the Clan comes out into the open. Making this an oppritunity for you to join them. Will you follow the path of these warriors or venture elsewhere?

RANKS AND THEIR ROLES
Raja- the Raja acts as the king or leader in the Clan and makes all executive desicions. The Clan's warrior general and medicine cat serve also as his advisors. It is yet unheard of for a female to serve as the Raja. The Raja chooses his firstborn son as his heir and trains him in the ways of leadership.

Kaiyou- the Kaiyou serves as a queen in the
Clan and serves as the matriarch. She is therefore head of the nursery, apprentice training, and caring for first time queens.

Ina- Ina is the term used for the son(s) of the Raja. Only the first born holds onto this title until he becomes Raja. Only this son has an arranged mate. The other sons lose the title Ina upon recieving their warrior names.

Binti- the Binti are the daughters of the Raja and hold onto this title until she has received a mate. The Kaiyou arranges the mates for her daughters.

Medicine Cat/Shaman- these cats serve as both spiritual leaders of the Clan as they interpret omens, make offerings, send prayers, and lead the Clan in sacred rituals. They heal the sick and injured with the native plants. The males that do this are called Shamans, the females are Medicine Cats. Unlike traditional medicine cats, they are allowed to have mates.

Medicine Cat/Shaman Apprentice- pretty self explanatory and is chosen through messages sent by the gods to the medicine cat or Shaman. They gather supplies needed for rituals as well

Warrior General- these are the most experienced and most intelligent of warriors. There is only one general and they serve until they develop many gray hairs around their muzzle. They are the most respected warriors in their Clan and give the warriors their names.

Warriors- we should hopefully all know what a warrior is

Apprentice- kits are made apprentices whem they are 5 moons old and are given a mentor chosen by the warrior general. They train until the warrior general sees they are ready to become a warrior

Reny- these are equivalent to queens in the warriors series. First time Reny are cared for by the Kaiyou.

Tua- these are the equivilant to elders in the warriors series and are respected for their wisdom and experience

GODS
OceanClan believes in four gods. Each take the form of ocean dwelling animals and each have their own sacred rituals once every year. Each god represents a season and a part of the foundation each cat must set their life upon.

Eel- Eel represents Winter and is the god of war. He gives the Clan courage to face enemies and come even closer in the time of need. His ritual is preformed on the last day of December then up until the first day of the new year.

Crab- Crab represents Spring as the god of wisdom. He gives them wisdom to learn about what the Clan could do mext winter to better prepare themselves and to seek out a new strategy to recover themselves from the previous winter. His ritual is preformed on the 2nd week of spring.

Whale- Whale represents Summer as the goddess of devotion. As a whale migrates across oceans to care for its young, she shows the Clan to be devoted in their faith and to each other. Her ritual is during the 2nd to last week of summer.

Gull- Gull represents Fall as the goddess of mercy. After the storms of the summer, the gull shows the Clan that since they kept strong, the ocean showed mercy. They must show that same mercy toward other cats. Her ritual occurs in the middle of fall

CODE OF THE CLAN
1. Your faith comes before anything else, including your Clan
2. No cat must kill another cat unless it is for self defense of protecting those who can not protect themselves.
3. Always listen to your Raja and his advisors.
4. Show mercy and forgive others
5. You are bound to your mate during and after life, never take another. Even after the other's death.

CAMP
Located in the rocky cliffs by the ocean. There is a small strip of beach at the base of the cliff and the dens are made of caves of various sizes. The Raja and his family are in the top most cave and the Shaman den is located below his. The tuas' den is left of the Shaman's den and the nursery is on the right. The apprentices are located below the Shaman den and the warrior general and warriors are below the apprentices. All the caves are connected by ancient walkways built by the previous indigenous people. Who may have stored things in the caves.

Now that you have some back ground information about the Clan, I will give you your character sheet and rules. I will also post the alligences.
