Cedarfall looked at her anxiously "S-should I go? Is our kit waiting for me?" he mewed, not wanting to leave her but also not wanting to leave their child alone, waiting.
Seafoam purred "I will always worry about you too, but it's all internal." she mewed, teasing him.

Yarrowcloud returned from training Nightpaw, stretching and giving a scowl at the heat. This Greenleaf was brutal, he missed leaffall and leafbare, where the air was cool and the snow and leaves were lovely.
Hornetstrike looked at Whiteblaze, his ear covered in a polituce as he spoke.
"I'm glad you were there before those kits were badly hurt...or worse. You alright?" He asked her with concern.

"I'm fine." Whiteblaze shook her head. She was in some pain. She had just gone back to warrior duties after her injuries during he battle and fighting the fox didn't help.
Silentflare was sittin in camp, watching. He looked over as Yarrowcloud came into camp.

Yarrowcloud glanced at Silentflare, giving only a small wave of his tail as greeting. He seemed a bit better today but still did not really stop to chat with anyone.
"Well, just be careful when you go out next time. We can't hunt together when we're getting injured by foxes all the time." Hornetstrike snickered.

Whiteblaze gave him a glare. "I was being careful." She said matter of factly. She flicked her tail before sighing, she hoped the kit was ok.
Silentflare slowly stood and headed towards his brother.

"I know. You were also doing your duties and saved those kits. That's pretty awesome." Hornetstrike mewed, also serious now as he gave a proud smile.
Yarrowcloud had moved to lay in the shade, eyes constantly on the nursery. He lifted his bad eye to stare at darkness where he heard his brother approach. He didn't speak but kept the unseeing cloudy eye in Silentflare's direction.

Slatesight gave Mapleleaf some borage. "Eat this," he told her. Hearing commotion outside, he turned to her. "I'll be back later."
Magpiekit was asleep.
Plumkit and Aspenkit were feeding next to eachother.

Mapleleaf nodded her head and ate the herbs. She then looked down at her kits. She smiled a little.
Stormkit was asleep next to his mother.
"I am pretty awesome, aren't I?" Whiteblaze leaned over to nuzzle him softly. "Don't forget that." She gave him a teasing warning.
"Hey." Silentflare meowed, looking at him.

"I won't...not as awesome as me though." Hornetstrike chuckled, pushing a bit closer to her as he enjoyed her affections.
Yarrowcloud was unsure if it was wise for him to answer and try things again. He didn't know how much love he had left. But, instinct won and he mewed a simple greeting. Remaining in his shady laying corner, he hummed.
"I feel old now...whenever I see Snowpaw scampering out of camp with Lightningstar...I'm surprised it took the old tom so long to assign another apprentice to himself..." He mewed lightly, lazily.

Whiteblaze gasped, cuffing his ear. "I'm more awesome." She said. She stayed close to him, leaning against him happily.
Silentflare stayed well silent as he waited for him to response. He flicked his tail, glancing over at the leaders den. "I suppose he's had a lot to do. I guess now he feels he has the time." He looked at his brother. "How are you doing though?"

"Ooh. Glad you hit the good ear. I want this ripped one to scar nicely. Make me look tough when we battle Riverclan in the future. We'll see who's the tougher brother." Hornetstrike pawed at the ear she had cuffed, a boyish grin on his face.
Yarrowcloud stared at Silentflare, eyes confused. He simply shook his head.
"Right now? Hot. I feel hot and hating that I have thick fur. Normal, really. Why'd you ask?" He asked with an unreadable tone.

Silentflare flicked his tail. "Can I not ask? I am your brother." He spoke, shifting on his feet awkwardly. "Do you wanna like... Go hunting or something." He asked.

Hornetstrike pouted playfully. He grinned.
"I'm like a Hornet, fly fast and sting hard. There are trees around Sunningrocks, and I can leap down from them like a rock. Riverclan fat cats can't climb trees as well as we can." Hornetstrike argued, playfully pawing back at Whiteblaze.
Yarrowcloud looked surprised. He hummed.
"Yes. I suppose you can ask what you want...you're never usually the one to ask me first..." He hauled himself up.
"I'll hunt but only if we hunt near the river. It's hot and I want to swim." Yarrowcloud nodded.

"Hah! Are you assuming another clan would beat your own clanmate? You ghastly lady, not supporting your favorite clanmate!" He mewed dramatically.
Yarrowcloud lumbered after Silentflare, a knowing look in his eyes as he mewed lightly.
"Lightningstar pulled this the other day...if you're going to ask how I really am, I will be fine. I'm upset, I always will be, but I'm not any weaker right now. I will be fine." He mewed.

"I bet I could beat any tom that tried to win your affections." He challenged.
Yarrowcloud glanced at Silentflare.
"I just find it strange that you want to hunt with me...you said it yourself that you don't want to be close, which I'm fine with, but why hunt alone with me if that's the case..." He gave a soft smile.
"I'm not mad if you're doing this because you care and you don't want to say it...at least I know you do." He waved his tail as they approached the water.
