Cedarfall drifted into sleep quickly, purring as Starclan was emerging in front of him once again.
Seafoam purred "Hello Badgernight."
Nettlepatch dipped his head to his father "How are you?"

Hornetstrike shook blood from the wound on his ear, not bad, would leave a cool scar. He looked at Shadepaw, mewing.
"You alright? You fought very well...the kits ok?"

Ravenwing purred, seeing him appear infront of her. "Hello Cedarfall."
Badgernight nuzzled his mate. "How are you guys?" He asked them.

Leopardkit was shaking, "Leafkit is hurt!" She squeaked.
Goldfeather rushed over to her kits, "Leafkit! Leopardkit!" She mewed.

Shardfury hurried over to his kits. "Let's get her back to camp."
Leafkit moaned soflty.
Whiteblaze panted soflty. "We didn't scent the fox in time. They must have wandered out here."

Cedarfall purred "Hello Ravenwing." he mewed, moving to be closer to her. (did you ask Moon about miracle kit? XD )
Seafoam licked Badgernight's cheek "I'm fine, Nettlepatch was just keeping me company."
Nettlepatch nodded "I was hungry after training Sunpaw(?)."

Goldfeather gently picked Leafkit up and started back to the camp.
Pantherpaw looked up at his mentor, he felt bad that he hadn't scented the fox sooner.
Squirreltail smiled, "Sure!" She chirped, her tail waving.

Badgernight nodded and settled down. "How's that training going?" He asked his son.
Shardfury picked up Leopardkit and followed.
Whiteblaze sighed, "go get the squirrel and we'll head back to camp."

Blizzardstorm smiled back at her "Great! Let's go." he mewed, jumping to his paws.
Cedarfall gave her a sad smile "I miss you more."
Nettlepatch glanced towards the apprentice's den "I think it's going well.. but I mean this is my first time mentoring... I'm a little nervous I'm not going to do a good job."

Goldfeather hurried into camp and took Leafkit straight to the Medicine Den. Worry for her kit evident on her face.
Pantherpaw nodded and hurried off to get his squirrel.
Squirreltail followed Blizzardstorm out of camp.

Seafoam purred softly, she was glad that Badgernight was a big part of their kits lives, she knew some toms weren't.

Leopardkit curled up into a ball in the nest. She felt awful, like the fox was all her fault.
Pantherpaw padded back to Whiteblaze, his head held high so the squirrel wouldn't drag on the ground much.
"Hmm, let's go to the Great Sycamore! I bet there are a lot of squirrels and birds there." Squirreltail purred.

Slatesight nodded in approval. "They're all beautiful... I hope they can live without a father," he mewed, somewhat truthful. He couldn't visit them as often as he wanted, not when he was a medicine cat with duties.

Goldfeather groomed her kit gently, waiting for Peachdapple or Slatesight.
Pantherpaw followed after Whiteblaze, his shoulder hurt from where the fox had gotten him, but he didn't complain.
Squirreltail bounded after him happily.

"Of course. Anytime." Badgernight nodded to his son.
"Me too." Mapleleaf looked at Slatesight longingly. She just wanted to press against him and look at their kits as a happy family.
Shardfury looked around for Slatesight.
"You ok? I saw the fox get you." Whiteblaze looked at him.

Squirreltail scented the air, "The only thing that smells extraordinary is you." She said, a bit flirty, "But other than that, there's a bird over there." She added, dropping into a crouch and going after it.

Blizzardstorm's eyes widened at her comment, the usually confident tom suddenly flustered "oh.. uh I.. I'm gonna go after that squirrel over there." he mewed, hurrying off.
Cedarfall's eyes widened "Really?"
Seafoam sensed Badgernight's distress and turned to face him "I'll be okay Badgernight." she mewed, nuzzling him. "I survived the first time and so did four healthy kits. The second time is always easier than the first."
