Slatesight sighed to himself in the medicine cat den. Herbs were beginning to decrease in stock. It was almost greencough season. Worry nipped him at the thought of Mapleleaf and the kits getting the dangerous sickness.
Nighteye returned to camp with a mouse.
The kits tussled.

Stormkit was playing by himself. He batted at a leaf softly.

Magpiekit creeped up on Stormkit. Wriggling her haunches, she pounced. "Got you!"
Nighteye padded over to the nursery with the mouse. "Hello?" he called.

"I win!" Magpiekit mewed triumphantly. "Magpiestar, leader of ThunderClan, has beaten Stormstar of RiverClan!"
Plumkit shook her head. "Come on. Don't be so dramatic."
Aspenkit ignored his siblings.
