"Then I will go to your country. My loyalty with always lie in my heart land, but I can be with you as a free man." Uriah said determinedly. There was a solution, they just had to find it.

Arabella turned to him, "You're willing to do that for me? For us?" She never believed that Uriah would switch his nationality, but now that she was hearing it for real, it felt almost the complete opposite. Arabella scooted herself over to him and hugged Uriah. Putting her arms around his neck and resting her chin on his shoulder, "I knew there was a reason why I loved you." She whispered into his ear and put her hand on the back of his head, with her fingers in Uriah's hair. Arabella closed her eyes, a tear coming down, but not of sadness, of joy this time.

Uriah hugged her back, his eyes squeezing shut. He let out a long sigh. Leaving his country wouldn't be the easiest thing ever, but knowing Arabella would be with him affirmed that he had made the right decision. He knew his mother would be happy with him, if she were still here.

Arabella kissed him on the cheek, "Do you love me as much as I do you?" Arabella whispered. Not moving from where she was sitting, holding onto Uriah like she was saying goodbye. She loved the feeling of him with her, and if her brothers disapprove of Uriah, she wouldn't care. This was her love life and not their's. The only thing she thinks that could tear them apart would be death. But she knew they would wait for each other, until the day they saw each other again. Uriah was the only person who had ever freed her from her own demons, and she did the same for him. No one had the same kind of charm as Uriah, no one could come close to him in any way.

Uriah tilted his head. "More I do believe." He smiled at her, glad that she was happy once again. It would feel good to walk freely again without worrying about being killed. He and Arabella could achieve many of the dreams they could talk about, including, seeing the ocean.

She sat back a little, so her hands her on his shoulders and she sat on her knees. Arabella gave him a small kiss on the lips, feeling the need to do so. "I don't know if that's possible." She smiled and laughed a little. "Do you want to leave tomorrow and help me continue my journey? Or do you want to stay for another day or so?" Either was fine with Arabella now. She would be okay so long as Uriah was with her. He made her complete, as she was only part of the picture that was her life.

Uriah savored her small kiss, closing his blue eyes briefly. There wasn't much left for him to here, but he did want to do something before he left. "I'd like to visit my mother's grave. After that, I don't care when we leave." He said quietly. Arabella would understand. Once he left Brom's kingdom, he didnt plan on returning.

Same!)
Arabella looked at him, with love and sympathy in her brown eyes. "I promise we will do that tomorrow. We can leave afterwards. I will do what I can to make you happy." Arabella scooted over to his side, putting his arm around her. And rested her head against him. This time not hoping he wouldn't mind, but knowing.

"And I will do the same for you." He said, running his nose over her hair lightly when she moved close. He was beginning to feel the happiness he had felt when Arabella first said he could be her guide. He had been so overjoyed and he was feeling that way now.

Arabella relished the warmth his body provided, "We need to go to bed soon if we're going to leave early." Arabella said softly, her eye lids began to feel a little heavy with the prospect of sleep. But, she wouldn't mind if Uriah wanted to stay up with her a little longer. Arabella closed her eyes for a little bit when Uriah put his nose close to her head, wanting to sit like this forever and ever. She hoped that Uriah and her had a real future together, with God granting it. If they had found each other where it was never to be expected maybe that was a sign.

Mavis groaned, tugging at the mules lead-rope again. "C'mon you stubborn mule." She pushed her frizzy, dark brown hair out of her deep brown eyes. She moved to the mule and slapped it rump, making it move forward and begin walking again. She wore servant clothes, and had dark skin. She was a bit short for her age, but very strong aswell. The mule she was leading was pulling a cart full of bags of flour, and some large hunks of meat. She was trying to get back to the castle kitchen before she would get in trouble for being 'tardy'. She was around the ages 16 or 17, but nobody realy cared, as long as she got the work done. The mule, named Bart, finally began coporating. "C'mon Bart." Mavis began walking faster.

Mavis tied up Bart outside the kitchen door and picked up a sack of flour and quickly headed threw the kitchen door. She knew she was late, and would get yelled at, maybe Mariah wouldnt notice, or better yet wasnt here. "Mavis." A stern voice called fron behind her. Mavis turned around slowly, "Yes mother Mariah?" Mavis smiled nervousley. "Your late, I told you to get back berfore the sun started to set." Mariah crossed her arms. She was a very large woman, and towared over Mavis. She, like Mavis, had dark skin, eyes and hair. "Bart was being stubborn again, I'm sorry." Mavis turned, hoping she could get away. "Get to work! I'll carry in the rest, you just start baking." 'Finally.' Mavis walked towards the back of the kitchen, where a large wooden bowl was already waiting.

Elijah came dashing out of the pantry with ingredients in his hands and all over him. "Hi sissy!" He greeted his sister in his 7 year old voice. He didn't notice that he had flour and vanilla spilled on himself, he prefered a messy apron over a clean one as that kept him from worrying about keeping it clean. At least, that was Elijah's logic. "What are we making today? I wasn't sure so I just brought out some random stuff from the pantry." He got up on his stool and dumped everything he was carrying on the counter. He looked up and smiled at his sister. He wanted to learn how to cook big meals and not just how to mix stuff, that was boring. Plus, it was not a chef size mess, it was just an Elijah size mess.

Omigosh. He is so cute. I just want to smother him in hugs XD))
Mavis smiled warmly at Elijah. "We're just baking bread at the moment, but when we're finished we can help mother bake the cake." Mavis dumped some flower into the bowl. "Could you fetch a pail of water?" She asked as she searched for yeast in the pile ingrediants Elijah had brought over. While she waited for the water she went and checked the dough she had set out eariler, before she had gone to fetch more flour for her mother. She checked under the cloths. They had all risen alot since she had left, and where probaly ready to be baked.

I didn't expect to make him as cute as I did! He's adorable!)
Elijah gave his sister a little salute before scampering off to go get the water. He wanted to hurry so they could make the cake, maybe he could sneak a piece...or 5. Elijah giggled at his mischievous thoughts, he can't steal food. He would just get in trouble and then he can't work in the kitchen, how boring! Elijah had been raised in the kitchen along with Mavis, they were cooks at heart, and Elijah knew that they would never lose that. He had big dreams of being the best cook in all of Brom's kingdom, there was where he could make his chef size mess. However, in his Elijah way. Elijah shut the door behind him as he stepped outside to grab the water. He pulled up his sleeves a bit, as they were always a litle too long for his arms, and lifted the pale of water. It splashed around inside the bucket and onto his apron, but Elihah didn't mind, it was watering the grass and maybe flowers would grow. Or at least weeds that looked like flowers. Elijah set the bucket down beside the door before opening it and taking it inside, "Sissy! I've got the water! I think it might be magical water, cuz when I picked it up again, the water was half gone." He had a wonderous gaze in his eyes. The truth was that he had just spilled most of it, and with the short attention span he had, Elijah merely forgot that the water had spilled.

"You're right." Uriah said, despite the fact that his mind was staying him to stay exactly where he was. Arabella was so perfect to him. No one, girls like Stella, they were nothing compared to her.

Arabella slowly moved away from him, hesitantly. She moved herself to the head of the bed, with her back against the wall. "Goodnight Uriah." She said sleepily and dreamily. "Until morning right?" Arabella asked, but already knew the answer to that question. Arabella's eye lids felt heavier than ever. She guessed that all the sleep that she had sacrificed was catching up to her. The only thing she should worry about now, is that Stella stayed away. They would need to go into town early and stock up on supplies before leaving, and as long as Stella wasn't there the journey should be an easy one.

"Goodnight Bella." Uriah whispered softly. He sat on her bed for almost half an hour, just watching her sleep. She was so peaceful now and more beautiful than before. Uriah stood up and kissed her cheek before walking out of her to and into his. He shrugged his shirt off and laid down on his bare mattress, closing his eyes blissfully, drifting to sleep.

Mavis looked over and rolled her eyes, "I'm pretty sure you just spilled it all." She straightened up and walked over, pouring the water in to bowl, sprinkling some yeast in. She grabbed a wooden spoon and began stirring it. "I need to put the other dough in so we can use the cloth, can you stir this for me? Just keep it moving." She handed the spoon to him and went over to the oven. She grabbed the paddle and began putting the dough into the oven.
(I think medivle ovens look so cool ^^)

He said, realizing he probably did spill most of the water. As soon as Mavis put it in the oven he got on his kness and started begging, "Please can we make the cake now?" Elijah asked with impatience. He had never baked a cake before, just tasted one. And it was delicous, maybe Maivs can bake another one for them to eat, he began picturing what it would look like. Maybe his sister will let him decorate it.

Mavis sighed softly, "Ok fine, go tell mother we're done with the bread and ask if we can make the cake." She said. "And I'll clean the bowl quickly." She checked the bucket to see if it had any more water in it. Luckily it did. She poured the small amount of water into the nearly empty bowl. She cleaned the bowl with her hand and then dumped the water out. "Now I need more water." She grabbed the bucket and went outside to the well. She filled it up and went back inside, putting the bucket on the table next to the bowl.

Elijah jumped up and down, clapping his hands, "Otay!" He always said 'otay' instead of 'okay', even though he was capable of making the proper sound. But he did this for a cuteness factor, and it worked in many situations; for example, when he got in trouble, when he wanted something, or when he was meeting new people. Elijah was smart and knew how to use his lovable disposition to his advantage. Like an amry general sending his men in a strategic attack. Not that Elijah was intrested in the military. He ran over to his mother, pulling up his sleeves again, "Can me and sissy make a cake? Pwease!" Another attack of his lovable personality was launched in the form of puppy-dog eyes.

Mariah looked down at Elijah and smiled, "Of course, renember to ask me if you two need help." She rubbed the top of her head before continuing with preparring the meat.
Mavis set out the ingredients she needed. She had everything set out and just needed Elijah to come and help.
