Brom sighed. Whoever was doing kitchen work was taking quite awhile to get his meal served and the prince had better things to do than wait around for his food. Brom went down the basement steps, disgruntled, looking for the servants who cooked for the castle.

Elijah heard someone walking down the steps and into the kitchen. He turned to look at who came, or is coming in, and moved his dark, shaggy hair out of the way. He jumped when he saw Brom, "Hello Brom!" He greeted the prince. Elijah had only seen Brom once or twice before, he didnt seem to like coming into the kitchen. Or, so he thought. Elijah pushed away the thought and ran up to Brom, and have him a hug, his arms going around the prince's waist and his head only a few inches above that. He looked up at Brom, "Did you come to see me?" He asked

Mavis glanced up, "Hello Prince Brom." She greeted as she stirred the ingridients together. "Elijah can you pull out the bread pans before you begin chatting with Prince Brom please." She asked.

Brom gave a slightly surprised look when Elijah wrapped his arms around his legs. He glanced at him. "No, I didn't come to see you." He said smoothly. He looked at the girl. "I came to inquire as to why the food is taking so long to be served." He said said.

Elijah got the message and backed off, disappointed. He turned around and walked slowly with a slouched posture towards his sister, "We're going..." he mumbled. How disappointing, was this the life of a servant? To be bossed around all the time and not shown any respect by your master. Maybe they could leave somehow...Elijah decided he would talk to his mom and sister about it tonight after they finished work. He got up on his stool and looked at his sister, "So no cake?"

I dont think Mariah or Mavis would want to escape. They may not love it there, but they dont hate it either. They get housing and food, which is all they realy need .3.))

"What? When did I say we where making bread?" Mavis tilted her head slightly, her curly hair falling into her face slightly.

Well of course you can jump in! You can either be in the woods and stumble upon the cabin Uriah and Arabella are in or, you can be in the castle.)

Elijah-
Elijah scratched his head in confusion. Wasn't the bread supposed to be for Brom? He shrugged his shoulders and leaned over to Mavis and whispered, "So...what is he going to eat?" He inquired. But he felt that Brom was glaring daggers at them, it burned into his back. But Elijah could be imaging that too, just like the 'magic water'. He brushed his dark hair, which watched his sister's, out of his face and leaned on top of the counter. Half of his body on the counter and the other half floating off the ground as he supported himself with his elbows.
Taylor-
Taylor was a servant of the castle, in charge of greeting new people at the door and acting as their temporary servant while they stayed here. Being in her position meant she had one of the higher positions as a servant of Brom's castle. She wore a plain black, long sleeved dress that brushed the ground and had her dirty blonde hair tied up in a bun. She stepped forward towards the carriage with quick and graceful movements. This was something she would have mastered by now as to not look a fool of herself in front of newcomers to the castle. Taylor picked up her dress as she walked and stood in front of the carriage door, seeing the guest for the first time when the stage coach opened up the door. Taylor curtsied in an act of politeness, "Welcome madame." She greeted her when she stood up from her curtsy.

Mavis flinched slightly, "Oh, the bread!" She quickly went to the oven and began pulling out the bread. A few pieces had black spots on the crust, but after the pulled those off the found the insides perfectly fine. "Whew." She wiped her forhead with a hankerchief before putting three pieces of bread on a cloth. "I'll go get some of the lamb from my mother, then you can leave with your meal sir." She said, hurrying to the back where her mother had been. He mother almost instantly thrust a tray with some finley cooked meat on it. "Thank you mother." She whispered before returning to the prince, grabbing the bread as she passed it. "Here you go sir." She said with a shy smile, handing him the tray of food.
(Making a new charactor cuz I can .3.)
Arthur sat in the main seating room, sideways on a tall-backed chair. His legs dangled over the arm on one side, and his back rested on the other. He had a red-leather book in his hands, and was deeply absorbed in its contents. He has curly red hair and blue eyes, and lots of freckles on his slightly tanned face. He was only 14, but he was taller than most his age. He was a nephew to the queen, and lived in the castle. He would much rather live with his mother, out in the forest, but she had forced him to live in the castle. He mostly hated it here, other than the wide selection of books, and the horses.

Taylor-
Taylor walked beside the other woman, keeping quiet until she was spoken to, "I will show you your quarters after dinner ma'am. For now, I shall take you to the main dining hall." Taylor walked passed many other rooms and corridors to reach the main dining hall. She saw Arthur seated there and made an 'ahem' sound when she saw his sitting in a very unsophisticated position. Taylor was also Arthur's governess. Meaning she was like his teacher and nanny in one, and quite a stressful job it was trying to keep up with his antics. She pulled out a chair where the lady was to sit and once she was seated she pushed it back in. One thing was odd though, Brom wasn't here. He must be in the kitchenshe though to herself.

Arthur groaned and moved around to sit in the chair properly. "That better miss." He muttered. He glanced at miss Leila before returning to his book. He continued fidgeting as he read, unable to get confortable again.
Mavis sighed and went back to the cake, pulling out a pan and began pouring the batter in. After she had got most of the batter into the pan she put the pan into the oven. She took off her apron and put the bread on a tray, getting ready to put it into the dining room.

Arthur leaned forward. "Not him!" He said, flinching when he relized he had said that outloud. "Woops." He muttered under his breath. He tried to hide his face with his book, feeling it grow warm.
