Uriah sighed. "What are you talking about, Arabella?" He asked, but she had already walked away. He followed her around and grabbed both of her arms. "What are you doing?" He asked her. Didn't she trust what he had said in the cabin. He never once laid hands on Stella, though she would have liked him too. All she did was stay indoors and talk about how crazy nights were with her. Uriah held left shortly after she mentioned that.

"Just leave me alone okay?" Arabella snapped before shrugging him off. Before she would have let him touch her, but now, things were different. She needs to go find food in the woods, never again will she come here. Never. Stella better not follow them, or show her face around Arabella again. She headed down the street, feeling nice enough to leave the horse for Uriah to ride back to the cabin. She was surprised at herself though that she was letting him stay there anymore. Or that she hasn't left yet. But that was something she needs to figure out later. Arabella walked through the woods, not sure where exactly she planned to go, but Arabella found herself near the river where she and Uriah...she couldn't continue her thoughts. It would have just angered her. Well, angered her more than she already was. The fish had come back though. Arabella drew her arrow back, hearing the bending noise of the bow as she did so, and she released once a fish was in sight. Bullseye. The arrow was stuck in the fish and she saw it flopping around in the water, a thin stream of blood flowing out of it. Arabella waded into the water until she reached where her fish was. It had stopped moving by now and Arabella turned to head back to the house. One fish was plenty for her, Arabella could cook it in the outdoor furnace when she got back.

Uriah watched Arabella walk away, completely baffled. He walked over to his horse, following her at a distance. What had he done? He didn't kiss Stella for lands sakes! He followed her to the river where he sat back and watched her fish. "And she kills a fish like she kills my heart." He commented dryly on top of the stallion. Maybe he should have been gentler, but he was utterly confused by her behavior. It made him feel oddly good that she had been slightly jealous but this was erratic behavior.

Arabella turned to look at him and sighed, "I know you didn't do anything, and that's the problem. Why didn't you say anything to her when she called me a wench? Why didn't you say anything when she told you to kiss her on the cheek? She will just keep going if you don't do or say anything." Arabella turned her view so that she was looking at the woods in front of her instead, "I felt...horrible when she came over to you, and acted like you two were still together. And yet, you didn't do anything about it. It felt almost like jealousy. That is why I'm mad." Arabella started forward into the woods, hopefully she gave something to Uriah for him to think about. Arabella loved him, and yet, when someone else comes along and acts the same way, it was almost like that meant nothing to him.
(What if Stella followed Uriah? That would be intresting...)

Uriah pleaded with his horse to stand still while ye tried to catch Arabella. He walked after her. "I'm sorry. I didn't think about it. I wasn't prepared for trouble and I froze up. I've never been good when im faced with a problem. I froze in the throne room and didn't stand up for you, and I didn't just now. That was my fault." He sighed and ran a hand over his face. "I can't protect people the way I want to."

Arabella stopped, but didn't turn around, "Saying sorry is one thing, but those are just words. Next time something like that happens you should act. And dont tell me you don't know how because everyone does, they just won't or don't want to." Arabella said all of this in a monotone voice before continuing and swinging open the cabin door in anger and slamming it behind her. Yes she accepted Uriah's apology, but he needs to wake up and realize that 'sorry' doesnt fix everything. Sometimes it took action, in which she figured Uriah had learned by now. But people can be wrong, in which she was. Was it the fact that he was a servant previously? But that shouldn't matter, one would think that they have gained a new confidence when given an oppritunity to be free. Arabella went over to 'her' bedroom and sat down against the opposite wall of the front window. The sky outside was a pink and orange color, she would cook her fish at night. Not feeling like exiting the cabin. If Uriah wanted to talk, he could come inside and talk.

Uriah listened to Arabella in complete silence. He felt guilty with all her words. He knew he should have done something. He had wanted to do something. He didn't though and now Arabella was upset, very upset, which he hated. Uriah ground his teeth together and kicked a rock hard. As much as he wanted to wait around for Arabella to talk to him, he couldn't. Uriah walked inside the cabin, closing the door much more nicely then Arabella. He walked to the room he slept in, knowing he needed a few minutes to think up something to say.

The house was dead silent, so when the door opened and closed it didn't go unnoticed by Arabella. Maybe Uriah came to apologize, or maybe he was just as mad. But either way it was lost by her, and didn't matter. If things continue this way, she would leave tomorrow or the day after. Uriah can live his life however he wanted after she was gone. After all, he wouldn't do anythinf about it, just like how he didn't do anything about Stella. Now Arabella had a least favorite letter; 'S'. It reminded her of Stella, and that was the last person she wanted to see, think, or hear about. That waitress was bad news. Arabella took off her top shirt and boots, feeling better under less material than the long-sleeve as it almost took away some of her anger with it. Arabella took in a deep breath, trying to keep everything under control before she climbed into bed. Lying on her back and staring at the ceiling. Hopefully Uriah would get his head screwed on straight and talk to her about this. But he was a guy, and guys don't think of the obvious.

Uriah paced his room for a bit, conjuring up in his mind what he possibly might say to Arabella. He hadn't defended her honor and he knew that was going to hurt for a while, but he could still try to tell her how sorry he was. Uriah walked out of his room, over to Arabella's. Uriah peeked in her doorway. "Can I come in?" He asked quietly.

Arabella didn't look at where Uriah was standing, she still stared at the ceiling. Whatever Uriah had to say better be important, "I suppose so." After all, Arabella wasn't going to stop him from talking to her. For once, she didn't want just his company, she wanted for him to say something, promise her something. Although she wasn't sure yet, Arabella figured it would come to mind while he talked. Arabella folded her hands of each other and laid them on her stomach.

Uriah walked over to Arabella and lowered himself onto the matress she sat on. He looked at her. "I know you're upset with me and I know it will take a long time for to forgive me. It will take a long time for me to forgive myself for not standing for you. I want you to know that I will never let anything like this happen again. I hate seeing you hurt and I will do anything to keep a smile on your face." He looked at her, hoping that she would look at him.

Arabella looked at the ceiling for a moment longer before turning her head a little to look at Uriah, "I hope you mean that. And for your sake, you better hope it's true." She said in a joking way without a smile. Arabella sat up, with her back against the wall. Although Arabella was not great with real relationships, as this was her first one, she knew that she was right. She didn't think it took a genious to figure that out. That's wonderful that Uriah wanted to see her happy, and that he apologized. She knew that promises were a hard thing to keep, but she can't be too picky, people are not perfect. Arabella looked over at the opposite wall with Uriah in her line of view, just not the main point of view. Maybe this was her oppritunity to tell Uriah that they can't be together. He may have said things that were nice but that doesn't change facts. "There...has been something I've been wanting to tell you Uriah..."

Uriah almost sighed in relief when she responded. He did not want her to keep scorning him. Uriah looked at her when she said something about needing to tell him something. "What is it?" He asked, trying to keep the worry out of his voice.

Arabella couldn't look at Uriah directly, she turned to where she couldn't see him at all, she but her lip hard. She was not going to see his reaction, it would hurt her more than her saying this out loud. "I don't think we should be seeing each other anymore. We belong to two different kingdoms. If my mission did lead to Eldin succeeding than people could think of you as a traitor for being with one of the people who belonged to the kingdom that took over. I can't be with you because that could be dangerous for me and my family. Eldin thinks that all people that are considered 'traitors', believes that their families are the same way and she be dealt with the same way. I love you, and it hurts for me to say this, but I don't see how we could possibly do this. I don't want you to get hurt, and if this is how I have to do it, this is how it has to be. I...I'm sorry..." Arabella felt teary-eyed. Her heart ached, she loved Uriah, and said it out loud for the first time. Why was everything so complicated? Why couldn't she fall in love with someone from her lands?

Uriah almost smiled. "Don't you think I've already considered that?" He said to her and touched her arm lightly. "The is Arabella, I don't care. I've spent my life living in a stable and being told that I would never become anything. Then I met you and you were so different from everyone else. You make me feel like I can be anything I dream go anywhere I want. If o have to live the life of a traitor to feel that then I will. Having your love means more then anything else to me, even if I have to remain a fugitive." Uriah said softly. He hoped she was listening. Uriah had never fully put his feelings out the way he did now and it actually scared him to be vulnerable.

"I know you feel the same way about me as I do you, but Uriah, I don't think you understand. I love you, and I want to see you free and live your life and love who you wish. But with the way things are now, I can't be free, you can't be free if we were together. Living as a fugitive is not freedom, it's just surviving. If you want to truly be free, I can't be with you. You may be free now but it won't last long if we continue like we are. Do you understand?" Arabella felt a tear roll down her cheek. This was harder than she thought it would be. She was almost flustered on the inside that he didn't get it, it felt like slowly ripping off a bandage. Which of course hurts much worse than if it was done quickly.

Uriah shook his head. What was she doing? "I don't understand. I'll always be a fugitive now so that doesn't matter to me. I lost you once and I don't want to lose you again." He said firmly.
(Sorry for short reply.)

(No biggie)
"No, you're a fugitive in Brom's land. No other land around here cares about what you did then unless you were some kind of serial killer. Know this now, before you hurt yourself." Arabella said sternly. She wanted to open Uriah's eyes to what was going on around him. He was not a wanted criminal anywhere else. And what about Brom asking Uriah to leave? What happened there? If Brom asked Uriah to escape from punishment that would mean that his crimes have been found not guilty by the prince. Uriah was free as long as he stayed away from her.
