Yea, we tend to have ours pretty early and get summer break early as well, but sadly we start school early too

I don't have a favorite. I use whichever one will fit the fan fiction. 3rd and 1st are the ones I use most often. Usually 3rd person past tense and 1st person past tense, but as I said, it is what fits the fiction. 1st I use when I want you to feel like the character (The Afterlife Trap for a example) or want you to see the story only from there POV. I use it to be more mysterious as well. 3rd is an aftereffect from Warriors. I wanted the style to match, so I got into the habit of writing in third. I'm better, in my opinion, at first, but am more used to third. I use third when I have more than one POV. It's easier to feel like you are watching the characters.
I hope it effects them like I want it to. I think I get a better reception for my 3rd person works, but that's probably because I slip into it if I write for to long (which causes some editing issues). So, in the end, I just confuse them. XD

Ok, ok, I'll try and get something up today XD
I ended up writing a mini-series, I guess. I wrote a playlist and then ended up writing a one-shot for each song... The 'shots are about my precious problem child Otto and his failed relationships, because I really needed more angst in my writing -.- It seems I didn't have enough of that.
Originally I wanted to write a sort of prequel comic to Westward, but I decided to write it instead. It works as a stand alone story set in the same universe, and chronologically falls before the comic starts. Mostly.

*points to my middle siggy link* My RP. Or The Afterlife Trap fan fiction in OTW. :3
Summery: The museum looks like a group of thieves went through it. Items are scattered on what passes for paths through the junk. Something, make of rock, ruby, or metal, moves within the depths of a pile. A museum run by a mysterious...well, he calls himself Sable, that takes people from their original world and traps them in the museum. The catch? When you wake, you see a note on your room's bedside table: Welcome to Sable's Museum. You are Dead! According to Sable, you died back in your old world and now you are trapped here. You will have to ransack the museum even more (a hard feat) to find one of two items. Your Life (aka Sable's Life) or your Death (aka Freedom). Or take the third option, which is to fight your greatest enemy and defeat them. The museum is full of objects from all universes. Are you tempted to wear boots that give you lightning powers? Play a flute that plays something other than music (Sable: "You're lucky. The last person who played that flute lost an eye")? Or how about fight a statue of one of the animals from the Chinese Zodiac? Fall in love, break your heart. Make a friend only to lose them to one of Sable's choices. Because, once you chose a path, you have to follow it. Deal with a rogue artificial intelligence or take up hang-gliding? It's really up to you. But the longer you stay here, the harder it will be. Because you can't stay here forever. You made a choice too. You have to follow through.

Please do. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts. The fan fiction, the Afterlife Trap, is set before the RP and works as a stand-alone story. I'll be putting up the short I wrote soon as well. It's called "Playing all the Gods".

Hey all, if you haven't noticed I started a library for the WFF and I need people to fill out the form for their stories so that we can have it all there, plus then people wanting a certain genre or writing can find what they want

On an almost completely unrelated note - would anyone be interested in a mediocre crash course on character design?
I'm doing a lot of late night scribbling to alleviate stress, and hammering out a bunch of minor things for my OC's, and while none of it's particularly spectacular, I've now got a pile of references and stuff, so I figured, if people are interested I might whip together a tutorial type thing... ?

I'm not ok. Same tho It started when I realised that one oc has never visited her little sisters grave, due to the timeline of the story. My poor babies. I torture them way too much.

I hate trying to fit timelines to plot events that have already been plotted .-. like having to move ages so they make sense in both the flashback and the modern day with the right age gaps but you wanted them differently in the past than in the future and nothing makes sense

That is frustrating :/ Can I help with anything?
I've had to manipulate ages quite a bit, but nothing major (luckily). I did, however, realise that one character needs to be at least 50, based on the ages of the other characters, and therefore needs to stop behaving like he's 25.

My favorite writing of mine is probably The Name No One Knows or Seeing The World in Black and Gold because I actually was able to finish them. My least favorite was Faith in the Stars because I couldn't think of how to continue it. Same with Lost in the Pines
