"Did the government give you my bounty ahead of time or something?" he asked. "That's new, you must be a trusted ally of theirs." After a moment he let out a sigh and looked down at Marcus with a wide frown. "If you think I'm just going to give all this up and go with you that easily, then you are gravely mistaken," he said in a low voice, the sand already swirling around his feet. ~~~ Lioncl: I knowwww I've been meaning to catch up for months now, I just have a million things to catch up in at the same time... and papers/exams are keeping me from catching up x_x]] Raiden poured himself a second glass and sat tracing his finger along the cup's rim. "I could do that... though I might just end up grilling fish if you left," he said with a laugh. He took a sip and sat thinking for another moment. "I'll have to see what the state of things are after we finish with Tatsuo. The thought of facing the Pirate Hunter's offspring intrigues me..."

Marcus shook his head and said," no I keep a record of all thous with bounties." Marcus then looked at the sand and said," your devil fruit turned you into a sand man." Marcus then raised his right arm and caused it to turn into a drill. Marcus then said," my fruit is known as then drill drill fruit and as the name implies it turned me into a drill man." The drill then started to spin rapidly causing a small vortex started to form around the drill.

"I wouldn't expect too much from the kid" Masaki said "The kid probably wasn't trained with Haki. Even if he or she was, I doubt it would be as powerful as say mine or yours. After all of this though we need to keep a crew to guard each of our territories. It seems like the other Emperor's are getting restless if we got one trying to take our territory. Or maybe you can just make a permanent base and manage it from there" he suggested
(Lol yeah let me know when you catch up with the manga it's epic right now)

He paused a moment to think, and in that moment of silence there was a sudden faint growling. He turned around with raised eyebrows to see an embarrassed Kandji, cheeks pink and hands over her stomach. "S-Sorry..." she whispered.

 sorry the picture is so big lol) Masaki smiled "Sorry, your food is done" he said as he placed the dish in front of Kandji "Hope you like it" he said before he turned back to Raiden "I would suggest one of the surrounding islands. It would probably make the civilians less nervous and less likely to freak out. We could also make use of some of their builders to make housing for us. If we pay them and give them a job as well, they'd probably be friendlier than they are as well" |

"Then I suppose it's follow the captain time?" Kuina said, her voice light. She seemed to not be as caring of the island anymore. However, her brother didn't look the same way, still studying their surroundings as they followed after Kyoden.

(Oh, jeez, I accidentally came up for some funny things for Joyeuse in the future, so she is most definitely going to join Raiden's crew, but only after she loses and swears that one day she'll defeat him cause thats her thing but I think I want everyone to think she's a guy at first xD just cause I imagined some things it could lead to.)

The Navy ship had left the port by this time and was currently heading towards Rod and Paloma's current location.
Paloma had gotten to the cliffs and had to wait for her ship to arrive. When it finally arrived she quickly jumped aboardas the ship kept heading off in the direction of Rod. Paloma went to the medical center on the ship so that she could get the bullet removed

As Paloma was jumping onto her ship, Rod was sailing out of the rocks, turning his boat in the opposite way of the marine's. Straightening the boat towards the next island on his log pose, he let the boat sail straight and ran to make sure the cannons were loaded and ready, in case the marines caught up to him.

The Marine ship could just barely see Rod in the distance and went after him at full speed. Paloma came up from below decks after about 20 minutes with a bandage wrapped around her leg

"There's just a little bit of curry rice and lobster meat left" he said "But I expected that you would expand anyways. I was just saying that maybe it would deter others from invading our territory as well as being a place of operations. There's also a chance that we could have more pirates that will come wanting to work under your name. And while you're at the base you send out others in search of the Road Poneglyphs"

(If you want I can have Paloma report to your admiral or the Revolutionary could save Rod's butt when Paloma catches up as long as that's okay with Rain)

Kuina followed, a little skip in her step as she did. Able, on the other hand, walked more like a shadow, not moving to catch up and keeping his footsteps as quiet as he was.
