Xio slowly lifted her heavy eyelids. The imagery around her was too blurry for her to make out any shapes. Where was she? What had happened? She tried to think of what she’d been doing before she’d woken up in this place, but she couldn’t remember a single thing. Who even was she? She couldn’t begin to recall what she looked like. Gradually, the scenery cleared. Once the fuzziness was gone from her vision, Xio lifted her head off the ground and observed her surroundings. When she looked down, she saw a dragon’s body – her body – laying on the floor. She also noticed that her head wasn’t the only one attached to its body. There were four others, and they all laid asleep on the ground. Just then, Xio’s memory sparked. She was an emperor dragon. She had a name, and her name was Xio. Her drowsy companions had names as well: Eri, Rua, Ysa, and Khi. They even had a name that they all shared, Anika. Xio suddenly remembered a few flashes of her “life” (or rather undeath back in her home world), too. It still wasn’t much, but she was content with at least rediscovering who she was. There was still one important question left unanswered, however. Xio was in a room. That was a given. She had no idea where the room was, though. Suddenly, the sleeping heads began to wake up. First was Eri, then came Khi and Ysa. Rua was last to awaken. Xio was doubtful that they had any more knowledge about the situation than she did, but she still asked out of curiosity. “Where are we?” Unfortunately, the results were exactly as she’d expected. “Dunno,” Eri stated. “I don’t have a single clue,” Rua and Ysa replied in unison. Khi simply shook her head. Xio sighed. She tried to think of what to do, but Eri already had an idea. “Should we explore?” the orange-scaled head suggested. “I see no other option,” Xio responded. There were only so many clues one could find in a tiny, plain room. There was one door, but it had the same problem as the room – it was very small. She half doubted that she would be able to fit through it. However, exploring seemed like the most reasonable choice. All four of her companions showed signs of agreement. With the help of Eri and Khi, Xio moved the Emperor’s body towards the door. Then, one of the dragon’s paws suddenly stepped on something. All five heads halted their motion and looked down. Underneath their skeletal forepaw was what looked to be a note. It certainly looked like a clue. Khi moved Anika’s claw off the piece of paper. Then, Xio got closer to the ground to read it. As she took in what the note said, her eyes widened with surprise. “This note says that we’re dead,” she stated. “Isn’t that obvious? We’ve been dead for thousands of years!” Eri spoke. “Who would send us a note just to tell us that we’re dead?” Ysa inquired. Xio couldn’t answer her companions’ questions. She was just as confused herself. Was it possible to die a second time? Was that why she could hardly remember anything? Just then, Rua chimed in. “Does the letter say anything else?” she asked. “It says that we’re in Sable’s Museum. We supposedly have three options. One is to accept our ‘death’ and find something called “Freedom”, two is to search for an item called “Sable’s Life” that will allow us to return to life, and the third is to stay here forever.” “Wait, seriously? Let me read it,” Khi said. “I’d like to see it, too,” Rua and Eri spoke in unison. Xio moved back to allow the other heads a chance to get close enough to read the note. After they each looked at it, they moved away in confusion. There was a temporary silence as the five thought about what they saw. After a few minutes, Rua spoke up. “So, should we trust this letter or not?” “I say that we should explore and keep our eyes peeled. We might be able to find more information behind that door,” Eri responded, nodding towards the door. “I agree with Eri,” Ysa said, “I think we should be especially cautious, though. That note is very odd. What’s to say about the rest of this place?” After Ysa was done, there was another silence. Xio took a moment to think. She did agree with her companions’ points, but she had another idea. When she was finally finished pondering, she opened her mouth to speak. “I think that this letter could be telling the truth. When I woke up, I couldn’t remember anything. I didn’t know where I was before I’d ended up here. I tried to think of it, but I still can’t recall much. Do any of you feel the same? If we died a second time, then maybe that’s the explanation.” “I have to say that I feel the same way,” Rua said. “I can recall flashes, but not much.” “If I were to be completely honest, that’s what I feel, too,” Khi spoke. The green-eyed head kept her voice quiet, but her words were just loud enough for Anika’s other heads to hear. Ysa and Eri nodded their heads in agreement. “I still feel like we should carefully look around. There is something strange going on, and I don’t like it,” Ysa stated. “I don’t like this place one bit, but I think Xio has a point,” Khi responded. “I’m with Khi on that one,” Rua commented. “What if we explored, but kept the letter in the back of our minds?” Eri improvised. Xio wanted to talk more about the letter. She especially wanted to discuss more about “Sable’s Life” and “Freedom”. However, she wasn’t in the mood for an argument. “That sounds like a plan,” she nodded in Eri’s direction. After Rua, Khi, and Ysa had agreed, the five moved the Emperor’s body to the door. As Xio had expected, it was a tight space. Luckily, they managed to get through in one piece. Unfortunately, the hallway outside of the room was still rather tight. Luckily, it seemed like the perfect place to gather information. There were miscellaneous items scattered everywhere. Xio still believed the letter and wanted to assume that they were artifacts from other worlds. However, if Ysa was right, then the items could be clues. mintedstar/fur (Hope you don't mind me tossing Sytry at her. ) The devil Sytry was bored. That wasn't to say that the flamboyant character hadn't been doing anything. But it was more Sytry hadn't actually been enjoying it. There were several things to be said about Sable's Museum. Few of those words would have included boredom. But that hadn't stopped them. So, while walking the hallway, they were rather surprised when instead of seeing the continues stretch that they had been used to seeing for ages, they instead saw a several headed mass of what looked like a decaying dragon. Honestly, it wasn't that unusual. Weirder things were in Hell. But Sytry hadn't ever considered the fact that maybe they might run into something like this that they didn't know the name of. "Hum?" Sytry muttered, then stepped forward. Their blue and grey outfit billowed out around them, their feathered headrest not even coming close to the height of the dragon. The heals hardly helped at all. Even still, the smaller devil looked up at the undead dragon with one hand braced on their side. "Who are you?" they asked, curious. Ref, if you were curious:

(Alright- thanks <3) *Screenname: zeph!*Name: Spinel *Where they are from: Steven Universe Future (Probably.)/Steven Universe the Movie Gender: Non-binary, but goes by she/her Age: Uh... At least 6000 years old, but probably way more than that. Headcannons (if any): She has a gem weapon of a scythe. Powers (if any): She's extremely elastic and malleable- she can stretch, contort, inflate, flatten, and really do anything of that without limits. She can also somewhat levitate, and takes a while to drift back to the ground. *Tell me. Are we alive? (The code word. Read the rules.): Unfortunately, no. *Path Chosen (If you don't understand look through the choices in the intro): Path two- she's unsure if she wants to be a group player, however. Other: More anxious, paranoid, and aggressive after her time in the Garden- it's also shortly after the movie in her timeline. *Starting Role-Play post(everyone start out in their room): As soon as Spinel blinked open her eyes, she knew something was wrong. Gems weren't supposed to sleep- she only really figured it out in the Garden. There was no reason to now. She lurched up, rubbing her eyes, before trying to make sense of the room around her. It wouldn't be on Homeworld, that's for sure. Was she on Earth then? She didn't know why she would be- after all, she wrecked it a couple weeks ago. No one would want her back, at least not yet... The gem noticed the note on the table next to her, which she hastily picked up. She unfolded it, narrowing her eyes slightly. It wasn't gem writing, but it registered in her mind like it was. She frowned, before beginning to read it slowly. She didn't get past the first few sentence, instead reading it over and over again as its meaning swirled around her head. A small laugh spilled unconsciously out of her mouth as she folded it again. Yeah, funny prank. As if she could be dead. Only, her memory was still fuzzy. And who would prank her? Absolutely the Diamonds. Not Steven, she hadn't seen him since she tried to kill him. The only person that would've done something like that would've been Pink- she gritted her teeth slightly at the thought. But Pink herself was dead! Gone! Never coming back! Like Spinel now? As the full reality sank in, she began to mouth something inaudibly, which turned into a whisper, and then a statement, and then a yell. "No, no, no, no, no... No!" At the last one, her fist hurtled into the closet, smashing into it with a loud crunch as the wood splintered. As her arm slowly receded back, she panted slightly, trembling, before sinking to the floor with a wheeze. Her life was turning around! She finally had good friends, and could play again, and stop worrying! She could make amends with Steven and the others, she could play with the Diamonds all day- for once in her life, things were actually going up instead of a downward spiral! But now she was here- she was dead. Like the universe couldn't give her one. Happy. Second. She shivered, before she went to stand up stiffly. She then extended her arm, grabbing the note off the floor and opening it again. She read the rest of it, eyes flashing slightly at the part about Sable's Life with hope. She could go back then! If anyone could find it, she could, right? But did she really deserve it? She'd done so many bad things... She'd almost killed countless lives, millions of lives- all for a grudge against her former best friend, who wasn't even alive. She got out of it all unscathed, her little tantrum over despite all the hurt she caused to Steven, the gems, and everyone else who lived on Earth... She was a bad person. She didn't deserve to go back. Spinel swallowed slightly, but, in one fluid motion, checked off the second box before her thoughts got the better of her. She took a deep breath, fists clenched together. Then, she exited the room, magenta eyes swinging around suspiciously as she took her first look at the place.

zeph!: Count Saint-Germain stood partially bent over at the far end of the hall, leaning in to examine a piece of pottery put on display. Despite the mess all around it, it had managed to stay sitting upright on its little pedestal looking perfect and pristine as if it was brand new. Though narrowed, the Count's eyes were sparkling as he deliberately circled around it. Standing upright again he adjusted the top hat on his head. "Quite a marvelous find, is it not?" he said, then frowned as he glanced over his shoulder and found his previous travelling companion to be no longer there. "This museum truly is a mystery..." he whispered to himself and crossed his arms as his eyes scanned down the rest of the hall. Then he spotted a new face emerging from the row of rooms. "Oh? Who do we have here?" he said aloud, making his way over.

Spinel had assumed a frown as she stared around the 'museum', whatever that was. There were none on Homeworld, at least, and she hadn't seen anything like this on Earth either. It wouldn't have been likely that she would've recognized it had she known what a museum was, however. The hall, for one thing, had junk everywhere, to the point in which she was unsure if it was intentional or not. She pursed her lips slightly, wondering which was messier at this point- the Garden, or here- before stiffening slightly at the voice. The gem turned ever so slightly in his direction, a mixture of surprise and suspicion reflected on her face. She took a moment to look him over, her eyes shadowy and dark above the streaks going down her cheeks. Then she opened her mouth to speak. "What's it to you?" She asked finally, her voice almost aggressive. Kuragehime

Kuragehime zeph!: The Count raised his eyebrows ever so slightly at the rough tone from this newcomer, though aside from that it didn't seem to faze the man very much at all. In fact, after taking a moment to look over Spinel, he even let out a soft chuckle. "I am merely curious," he replied. He took a few steps closer without encroaching on Spinel's personal space. "You see, I was previously travelling with another younger gentleman but he seems to have disappeared. Whether completely or just momentarily I am not sure." Saint-Germain shrugged. "Or perhaps he just ran off while I was admiring that lovely piece of porcelain, I do get very invested in my antiques," he added with a lighthearted laugh. "I merely saw you emerge whilst searching for him."

(Yea I'm down to slow rp and sorry this is terrible And thanks Hime lol how have you been?) Snake had wandered away from the group he had been with in search for the item he needed hinself. The young man let out a soft sigh as he continued walking in what seemed like circles. I'm never going to get out of here, am I? He soon had stopped walking and just sat down on the floor to take a quick break. And besides, he had sent some of his snakes out to help him, but none of them had returned yet. He was hoping nothing had happened to them.

It be like that sometimes xD]] Yay! I'll toss Robin in then!]]
Robin was wandering around in the area just outside the room where she had awakened in this museum. She'd meandered to the end of the hallway and taken a right turn where it conjoined with another, still very much confused about this whole situation. The first hall was lined with doors like hers but where she expected to see others, it was completely silent. And then there was the case of a book that had flapped its covers and flown away at her touch. It wasn't the weirdest thing the tactician had seen in her life, but was still out of the ordinary. A sudden movement on drew her from her thoughts, and her eyes landed on a snake turning the corner ahead of her. Were she at home she would have ignored it but in this case her first thought was to make chase and follow it. "Hey, wait!" she called.

The reptile didn't slow down, but instead continued to follow Snake's scent. After a few minutes, Snake heard a soft hiss and looked that direction, listening to what his friend has to say. From what Oscar was telling him, there was no sign of a way to escape this place, however there was someone following him - someone he had yet to meet. The hybrid tilted his head to the side and stared off in that direction, slowly standing up. Whoever was approaching, he hoped they meant no harm, but from experience almost everyone here was like that. Maybe this person will be just as helpful as the previous group before he got lost.

Scrambling over and around objects strewn here and there, Robin did her best to keep up after the snake. She was bound and determined to find out what lay at the end of its trail. After a while her pace was slowing down - she was never the most athletic - and she paused to take a breather. She bent over with her hands on her knees and took a few breaths, and when she looked up her eyes widened. She expected the snake to be long gone, but instead she saw a white-haired individual standing just a few feet away. "H-Hello there," she said, slightly startled.

</div>"Well sorry," muttered Newt, unable to keep something which was a mix of embarrassment and annoyance out of his voice. It was hard to do that, but somehow she managed it. There was a lot to be said about to be surprises. He wanted to caution Mei about stepping onto a different tile. He fully expected it to tilt with lava hiding underneath. But when it didn't, Newt relaxed just a little thinking that maybe there was a bit of wiggle room about crossing the tiles. Maybe if they were careful - But then that thought was completely gone as something new happened to Mei. Newt didn't even have time to react before the floor disappeared and Mei was just gone. And he was faced with a tile square of water that seemed perfectly innocent. Stiffening, Newt didn't really hesitate. He was used to things like Kelpies and there was no way that he was going to allow Mei to be drowned!

Snake glanced from the individual to the snake that was now around his neck. It hissed and the hybrid just nodded before looking at the lady in front of him. So this is why had been chasing him. At least she doesn't seem like a threat. "There's no need to be scared ma'am, I don't bite - says Oscar," Snake translated what his pet had said. He then offered the slightest smile, fumbling with his hands nervously. "A-anyway, I'm Snake. Are you lost, just like me?"

Spinel's frown deepened into a small scowl at the chuckle, thrown a little off guard by it. She was still unused to that stuff- she wondered if he was laughing at her, if she was doing something wrong already- why not just tell her, then? Instead of laughing at her? Her frown softened at his explanation, however, as slight worry gradually filled her mind. So you could just disappear into this place? Was it that big? Spinel took a moment to glance around again, her expression now becoming, while still tense, also a little lost. "Oh." She said simply, still looking around with a hint of nervousness. Then, she took a deep breath, and, just as quickly as it had appeared, the worry seemed to harden on the former best friend gem's face; although it was still there, she was now actively trying to hide it. She let out a sigh, before mumbling, "Well, okie-dokie then..." Kuragehime
