I spaced out so bad this weekend, I'm ashamed of myself quite honestly. I didn't do my math homework, some of my English homework, rushed to do my Spanish homework, it's just a mess I can try and get a reply in before I start homework though. If you could put our last replies on here that would be great }

Yours: Both of their names started with the letter 'E' she had noticed. And since Alice wasn't very good with names, she figured she was bound to mix them up at some point. But she was surprised that Erin didn't know her name. She assumed he would have to be well informed about her before going on this sort of mission to take her hostage. But she didn't mention it. "I'm Alice. Alice Taylor."
Mine: "Alice. Nice to meet you, Alice." He said very politely as he looked her way, his gaze then went back to his little brother Ethan, "now get out of here kiddo" he joked with a chuckle
"Whatever, Erin" Ethan answered as he opened the door "seeya later miss" he then said as he closed the door. He hadn't caught her name but nonetheless figured it didn't matter to him
Erin got up from his seat and took a look around for some food and surprisingly he found enough for the two of them in the kitched of the small building he brought it back into the room she was in and set it down "it's here for whenever you get hungry" he said as he sat leaned up next to a wall near the fire

Alice would have said it was nice to meet Erin as well if they weren't in the circumstances they were. However, this was what was happening now, and Alice kept her mouth shut. She merely kept her posture stiff as always, and remained standing by the window. Alice turned when the food was placed on the table behind her and she glanced at it quickly before viewing the window once again. "Thank you." She was quite surprised those words were coming out of her mouth. She can't thank him for much. "Do the two of you live alone?" She asked suddenly.

Erin noted her silence and just shrugged it off. He closed his eyes as he leaned against the wall until he heard her question he opened them again and sighed, "yeah, he's all that's left of my family. I try to get him to stay at one of his friends as much as possible as we don't actually have a real house for ourselves." He said, not looking for pity but just being honest with her. "We don't get the luxury of a castle to live in" he added bluntly afterwards.

Alice in all honesty was beginning to pity Erin. No one should have to lose their family, or have to find some place to stay. But then, what is this place? Is it not their home? Alice opened her mouth to ask, but then he made his comment. She gripped the cloak around her shoulders so tight, she could feel her nails against her skin. "I figured this is how it would go. You were too polite to stay that way for long. And now that you've started the snarky comments, you probably won't stop them. I'm sorry for those you have lost, but do not blame me for your woes. I shouldn't be involved in this in the first place." Alice used whatever she had in her to keep herself from spitting out the words in the cruelest of ways.

"I think you're forgetting the fact I'm being paid to do this. Also, I'm in no way trying to be rude or blame you for everything that's going on with me. I just assumed you'd been pent up in your castle so long it would be weird to see anything other than that, you know what I mean?" Erin said with a sigh. "The sooner this is over for the both of us the better, we can both agree on that." He added afterwards before he got up. "I'm going to get some air" he mentioned as he walked towards the door. He opened it and walked outside leaving the door open

Alice argeed with Erin on that. The sooner they get whatever this is done, the better. But when will that be? If it were to take longer than a month, her family would surely be dead, and that was not something Alice wanted on her concious. So when Erin left the door open, she had to attempt an escape. It might as well be her only way home. Alice quickly made her way to the door, and looked out in several directions a few times. There appeared to be no one there, and if no one was there, it meant a free path. Whether she knew her way back or not, didn't matter, she just needed to get to someone who did. Maybe they could point her in the right direction. Alice stepped out of the house very cautiously as if testing the temperature of water before dashing out. She made her way in the direction of a forest, as she figured there were plenty of places to hide.

Erin, who hadn't noticed her slip out was just getting back moments after she left when Ethan had been cominng back, witnessed her run off. "Hey Erin, did you let her go? I think I just saw that girl you took head off into the woods!" He said quite worriedly. He, although he was still young, understood what would happen if Erin messed this up.
"You're serious?" Erin asked Ethan quickly as he made his way over to the house. He checked inside very quickly just to be sure before running off after her. He cursed many times on the way and just hoped that no one would find out or he would be in serious trouble. As he made his way in there he looked frantically hoping to catch a glimpse of her somewhere. "Alice!" He called out knowing she wouldn't dare reply for the fact she'd be re caught again but he figured it'd be worth a shot. He was hoping she didn't know where they were located in regards of the castle so she couldn't actually get away. He kept walking through the woods looking around for her

Alice had made it to the woods what she assumed to be safely. That is, until she heard Erin calling for her. Alice dared not to answer back, she would be an idiot if she did. Instead, she continued staying close to the trees, to hopefully hide her shadow from the moonlight. When she heard footsteps getting closer however, she moved her foot, prepared to run again. But she happened to move her foot onto a twig. It snapped, and she winced before taking off yet again, this time, she wasn't very concerned about being quiet.

As soon as Erin heard the twig he stopped to look. As soon as he figured where the noise came from he made his way over. "Please don't run." He asked politely "we don't need this to be harder for the both of us. I doubt you even know where we are, honestly." He said sticking his hand out towards her but moving slowly so she wouldn't try to run thinking he was going to be hostile about the situation

Alice shook her head almost in refusal as Erin started coming towards her, hand out as if wanting to help her. She began backing away, but soon enough, she felt rough bark against her back. She put her hands behind her to feel what was there: a tree. She was trapped. He could dive after her either way she went and he would catch her. Alice swallowed nervously before speaking. "I don't have to know where I am. I just need to find someone who does." Alice said quietly, not finding herself able to speak up. "But you keep saying that, who is this supposed to be easier for?"

Erin stopped In front of her after she fell. He knew he had won but figured she should know a bit more. "Look your family clearly knows by now that you're gone. And someone from my people will eventually tell them what they want okay? I'm all you have right now. Everyone around here knows why you are here so I doubt they would tell you where we are, don't you think I'm right?" He put his hand out again signalling he'd help her up if she were to let him. "Lets just go back okay?"

They were putting whoever was going to deliver news to their family at risk. Her family could hold them hostage or kill them out of anger. But to get to her family before they do, she planned on using the cloak to her advantage, as a disguise, and perhaps then someone would tell her something. But apparently that won't happen now, she was cornered and could do nothing about it. Alice merely glared at Erin, there was a lot she wanted to say to justify her actions, but instead kept quiet and helped herself up. Alice didn't want his help, he had hardly provided any anyway. "You make it sound like you didn't just take back an escapee to imprisonment." Alice mumbled before pushing past Erin and focusing her eyes on the house again.

As she bumped past him he just looked to the ground. She was right in what she said. He did feel bad for kidnapping her but if it were to help him and his brother survive he would do it without hesitation. He began to follow close behind her but not so close to make it seem as if he was trying to make sure she didn't run, which he was.

Alice hated him being close to her, that feeling of someone close enough to breathe down your neck. She had guards like that, and she always found them odd. And, quite frankly, suspicious as to what their motives are in being her guards in the first place. That was one thing she didn't have to worry about anymore. Now she just needed to worry about everything else. Alice walked back to the house in silence, ans as soon as she got back, she took up her position by the window again. It was as close to outdoors as she was going to get for a while.

Erin closed the door as he entered. He took a seat and looked over to her "you know I didn't think this was the right thing to do. Kidnapping you, I mean" he said hoping she would listen but figured it was pointless, yet he continued anyways "I feel like all the senseless fighting that's gone on between my people and yours shouldn't need to happen. But my people are considered vermin by yours. Can I ask you something? Did you know we existed before this happened? Had anyone ever spoken about the people living in the woods?"

Alice listened to Erin in silence. Her eyes were fixated on the window like it was her world now. She didn't take her eyes off the window as she responded in a quiet tone, one he had probably not heard from her yet. "No. I was never informed about your people. Especially the monsters." She confessed. And when she said monsters, her tone made it sound like it was any other word and not the beastly one it was made to be. Alice wasn't attempting in insulating anyone right now, if anything she wanted to be left alone.

"You consider us monsters..." he said quietly, his voice barely audible. The fact she had only just heard of them and was already considering them monsters was reasonable enough. He knew they had done wrong and wished he could fix it but knew he didn't have the power to do so. "your bed is in the other room" he said as he pointed towards a small hallway with a two rooms down it. The other was a bathroom. "I'll not be staying here, I doubt you'd want me here anyways but I'll be around." He said as he got up from his seat. He knew people would be making sure she wouldn't get out overnight so he felt fine leaving her om her own overnight.
