Catori pulled herself up to her paws, turned and briskly shook out her pelt. She then sneeze-snorted (can't think of any better way to describe it; dogs do it a lot) and bowed down with her front legs in the canine universal position of play. Wearing a mischievous grin, the wolf replied, "Race?"

Kiba smiled and then stood next to Catori and got into the same position as the she wolf and said," Alright then let the race begin." Kiba then broke off into a run before the she wolf could.

Chase tilted his head as he watched the strange ghost leave. He then turned to Del and nodded. "Yeah definitely. You think she was genuine or making that up?" He asked his new friend with a small frown. He wasn't really sure himself. He wasn't really a people person. (Sorry I'm back!)

Pandora took the insult in stride, not appearing the least bothered by it. She'd heard a lot worse before, "Did you say a dead manticore? How the heck did it die?" She was more bothered by the prospect of such a ferocious beast dying. If the numbskull had found a way of destroying monsters, then it might possibly spell disaster for herself. It was Peter's turn to smirk, but he kept his mouth shut. He'd let Alfonse handle this one. "I killed it." Alfonse shrugged casually, and went along with the conversation. He didn't say how; he was somewhat worried she'd find him out. He hoped Peter would continue to bite his tongue. Alfonse didn't exactly lack the desire to creep her out for a change. |

"I'm not sure. I have a funny feeling she was lying." Delilah scoffed. Her irritation hadn't quite subsided. "Either way, she's weird. I don't know how I feel about her, but I hope we don't run into her again anytime soon. C'mon." She waved a hand, motioning for Chase to follow. (I'm sorry guys, but I'm about to pass out, lol. I didn't sleep well last night. I'll be back on tomorrow. Good night.  ) |

Catori immediately bolted after Kiba, occasionally snapping at his flanks as she sprinted after him.
Normally Pandora wouldn't believe such a skinny, nerdy human could kill anything remotely dangerous — much less one of the most deadly beasts there was. However, she could perceive that Alfonse was being truthful. Or at least, he believed he was. Her eyes narrowed angrily, "How?" She demanded.
Peter continued to play mute. Though he could be high-strung, he also recognized situations in which discretion was needed. He just enjoyed seeing the mean little girl get mad.

With a wolfish sound reminiscent of laughter, Catori leap-frogged over and around Kiba. She continued headlong into the woods, keeping parallel with the creek. Hardly anyone knew these woods better than she did. As for who the fastest one was, well, they'd see.

He said, starting to pad after her, trying to get his smile back. He was just a little freaked out by the girl now. He closed his eyes for a few seconds as he felt the beautiful cool winter wind on his scales. When he opened them again he looked up at the darkening sky. It really was beautiful around here now he looked at it all. Cool, green. Mostly green. He loved that colour in nature, which is why he was drawn to rain-forests. He looked toward Del. "So what were you planning on doing?" He asked. He was personally thinking of finding a room to stay in, or rooms really cause he figured she'd want her own space. Of course he was happy to do whatever if she had something in mind |

Alfonse smirked. "Can't betray that information to you, I'm afraid." He considered blackmailing the girl into telling him how to travel between Earth, and this other world, but decided against it; she'd probably lie, anyway, and the satisfaction he felt with her frustration outweighed his desire to risk being tricked. There was also a part of him that was embarrassed by the whole situation.
"I dunno, I sort of wanted a snack." Delilah grinned. "You haven't eaten, either, have you?"
Ferra's eyes blinked open sleepily, and she rolled over. Her nap had been much more short-lived than she had wanted, and against her better judgment, she rolled over to go back to sleep. It was only then that she remembered the puppy, and she briskly sat up.

Peter tried not to give any indication of his amusement at the situation. He made a mental note to examine her later with his reveal-glass, as he still hadn't figured out what exactly she was. The girl appeared human, but Peter knew just as well as anyone else there that appearances could be deceiving. Aura had crawled out of the bed at some point during Ferra's nap. The pup was now seated over against a dresser in the room, and it appeared she was trying to pull open the bottom drawer. |

Unlike Catori Kiba was just the right size to hit all the painful obstacles which caused him much pain. After a few minutes of pain he just stopped in his tracks and said," okay Catori I quit my back can't take much more of this." |

Catori was far enough ahead of Kiba that she didn't immediately hear him. It took the wolf a moment to realize she was no longer followed, and as she did, Catori turned back. She found him in a matter of moments, and her muzzle opened into a smug grin.

Alfonse gave a small chuckle at that. "You seem somewhat upset." He squatted in front of her so that he was just below eye level, and stared up at her with an arrogant smirk, and one eyebrow raised.
Ferra quickly rolled out of bed and approached the dresser. "What're you doing?" Her voice cracked sleepily, and she knelt beside the puppy. She wasn't quite sure what the animal was doing, but decided that the only way to find out was to open the drawer for her, and so that's exactly what she did.
"Then let's go!" Delilah took hold of his hand and raced off to the kitchen, dragging Chase along with her.

Pandora stared at Alfonse with absolutely no expression for several moments. Suddenly, she blinked and as her eyes opened they were entirely black. She continued to stare at Alfonse, as if looking straight into his soul.
Peter was far enough away that he hadn't noticed her eyes. However, he did get a distinctly creepy feeling that something wasn't right. The hair on his neck rose and he shuddered.
With some effort, Aura pulled herself up and over into the drawer and began to nose around it curiously. After finding nothing of interest, she turned and leaped back out of the drawer. She gave one glance up at Ferra before turning to explore the rest of the room.

Ferra gave a shake of her head, and lifted the puppy before she could run too far. "You need to go out." She wandered outside her room, and almost ran face first into Aurora.
Alfonse almost immediately leaped up, but bit the inside of his cheek and stayed in his position, silently, one hand draped over his knee, determined not to give the creepy child the satisfaction of frightening him. "I see you've made it apparent that you aren't human, but, of course, I already suspected that."

Chase's eyes widened as she grabbed his hand and had to run to keep up. He laughed slightly at her excitement and enthusiasm. He honestly hadn't felt this way for a long time and he loved it.
