Pandora blinked and her eyes were returned to normal. Her expression remained the same, but her eyes were practically seething with hatred and malevolence.

Peter looked at Alfonse questioningly, and took a few tentative steps over to see what he was talking about. But by the time he seen Pandora, her features appeared normal.

"Get out of my face." Pandora demanded in a low voice.

Aura put up a protest, but soon gave up and went still again as she was carried.

Aurora nearly stumbled, but righted herself against the wall, "Oh, hello Ferra." Her mind was on other things and she wasn't paying very close attention. Therefore, she hadn't yet noticed the puppy in Ferra's arms.

(Maybe you can have one of them go into the kitchen? Lots of people are congregating there it seems, and there may be a nasty scene about to break out. XD)

Catori ceased grinning and began trying to free Kiba of the various brambles and branches that he'd gotten tangled up in. She nearly cut her lips a couple of times, but finally was able to get them all off of him.

Catori followed at a distance, ears pointed back and looking somewhat guilty. She'd never intended to let him get hurt.

(Sorry I disappeared for awhile, you guys. I had to clean up, and get a shower. I'm staying the night with moon tonight though! Also, yeah, that'll be fine, though, Cloud.)

Delilah stumbled into the kitchen. She dragged Chase along behind her. As she noticed the others, she didn't say much. The air seemed alive with tension, and she didn't much appreciate it. She began to search for something to eat, and made an attempt to ignore the other residents.

Alfonse seemed beyond amused with the situation. He shook a finger at her. "Now, now, don't lose your temper, little girl." He stood slowly, without breaking eye contact with her, and patted her head. "Well, Peter, are you prepared to depart on our expedition?"

"Hey," Ferra took a moment to glance down at the puppy, before looking back up. "I was actually going to look for you. I, um, found this earlier. She was cold and half-starved. I figured it'd be rude to just assume I could have a pet without asking, especially one that may develop destructive habits. So, would it be a problem if I kept her?"

(Sorry for spoofing! Also is Pan, Peter and Alfonse in the kitchen? I'm not reading all the posts.)

Alfonse nearly leaped backwards, but hadn't the time. Pandora may have seen his eyes widen briefly, but upon the unknown resistance showing itself, he took a brave step towards the child. "I could say the same to you." With a smirk, he turned on his heel, waved an arm to Peter, and began to make his way out of the kitchen. "We'll have to make our way to the infirmary, I'm afraid. I'm sure there are scalpels, or other tools which may be of more use than this." He twirled an old, blunt knife around his finger. "Perhaps we should have looked there to begin with..." He sighed and strode briskly out of the kitchen.

With the ordeal playing out in front of her, Delilah had forgotten all thoughts of hunger. Each time the younger girl struck out at Alfonse, she had nearly leaped to his aid, but the resistance that the younger girl had met had prevented her from actually doing so. She backed out of Alfonse's path slowly as he came her way, her jaw slack and eyes wide as the young man brushed past her wearing a victorious expression.

Kiba looked at Catori and said," There is no need to feel sorry or sad." Kiba then waked over to the she wolf and said," Like I said I have faced far worse then this." Kiba then remembered his fellow Chimera Damocles who had been but four years younger then him when his creator had died. Kiba then looked at the ground with much sorrow in his eyes.

Peter had grown slightly pale, and merely nodded at Alfonse's comment as he followed him out of the kitchen. Once they were out of earshot, Peter turned to him with a bewildered expression, "You never mentioned anything about telekinesis!" He whispered sharply, grinning from ear to ear.

Pandora returned the blade to her pocket without a word and just stood there, eyes sparking as she angrily surveyed the remaining people in the room.

Catori whined with a small smile, walked over and licked his ear, trying to cheer him up. She hated to see anyone upset. (Don't take that in any romantic context. That's just how wolves/dogs show sympathy, as any fellow dog owner will know.)

Aurora scratched the puppy behind the ears, "She's cute. Have you decided on a name yet?" Aura stared up at her with a desperate, almost mournful expression, but Aurora seemed more or less oblivious to it.

Kiba smiled and said," Thank you Catori I was just thinking about my fellow Chimera that I had left behind when I set out on this little journey of mine."

(Sorry for the slowness. I'm gonna continue posting, but I've gotta relocate first. There's too many distractions where I'm at and I can't focus well enough to post DX I'll be back in just a few minutes.)

Peter deeply pondered it as they walked, until he arrived at a possible theory, "Well, there's one way to test it." Gee... I hope this works... Peter balled up his fist and swung fast and hard at Alfonse's shoulder. Right before he made contact, the same force as before acted on his fist and forcibly kept it from striking the young man. Peter stared in amazement, and it was only after he resolved not to hit Alfonse that he regained control over his arm.

"I guess I don't really know what counts as odd, considering that the only puppy I've ever had any experience with was Catori, back when I first got her. Catori sometimes eats fruit, but only as a last resort. I know she prefers to have meat. She's never tried to open any drawers though... Maybe this wolf is just different." Aurora shrugged, "I'm glad you found her, anyway. It would be a shame for anything to die so young." She smiled and pet Aura again, who kept tugging and trying to get closer.

Catori hung her head, appearing sympathetic. She wasn't yet able to actually speak to Kiba, and motioned for him to follow her back to their home so they could more easily communicate.

(I've heard it's good. btw, there isn't actually a fridge, but there is a small building outside where they keep cold stuff. Like, an outdoor refrigerator. It's no big deal really. I just thought I'd point it out. ^^ Usually, the fruit indoors is picked fresh and kept in baskets, or preserved in jars. There will be more modern additions added later on.
Heheheh... Pandora's really loosing her cool a lot lately.)

Pandora narrowed her eyes and bore her teeth in a small sneer, "Get your own dang knife." With an angry noise, the girl spun and made her way towards the kitchen door. Her plans were not going as planned, and she had some things to figure out.

(It's ok! Yeah, I noticed that.

Didn't you say Chase was something like 100 years old? If so, Pandora is older than him. XD

And Aura is a hybrid of four species common to Outcasts.)
