Aurora eyed his hand with a confused look. She wasn't aware of the custom of shaking hands to greet someone. Catori sometimes gave her a paw, but she just thought it was an odd quirk of the wolf. To Mason's question, she nodded, "Yeah, I've been here my entire life." Peter cut in, "I've been here a few months, so I'm the second longest living here." He grinned. Aurora rolled her eyes at him. (Imma be poofy after this, for a couple of hours.) (I'm back for good now) Catori easily picked up the scent of the rabbit, but she wasn't sure where exactly the small animal was. (You wanna RP the rabbit, or would you rather me do it?)

(Nah, I don't mind. It'll kind of make it easier.) The large, wide-eyed rabbit had sighted the two animals, and was trying to be as still as possible to avoid becoming prey. Catori hadn't yet spotted it and turned in circles, black nose held low to the ground as she sniffed and huffed the rabbit's scent. Her night vision wasn't that spectacular, and she couldn't tell what direction the animal had gone in.

Thank you)
Kiba looked at the rabbots aura and then slowly made his way over to the small creature all the while trying his best not to get noticed by the pray.

The rabbit spotted Kiba easily but remained stationary a moment more. Then, it's whiskers twitched wildly before the animal suddenly sprang up and bolted for its life.
Catori seen the movement in her peripheral vision, turned and took off after the hopping animal.

"Wait, only a few months? That means everyone's fairly new." He remarked, then tilted his head with a slight frown. "And that means you've been here on your own for a long time." He said to Aurora.

"Well, not technically. Catori's been here with me for a few years. You might have seen her. She's the friendly gray wolf that hangs around in the garden a lot." She smiled fondly at the mention of her closest friend.
This time, it was Peter's turn to roll his eyes, "Yeah, friendly my eye."
Aurora wasn't entirely sure what he meant by that remark.

The rabbit thrashed upwards, flipped and fell on it's backside, paws flailing madly in the air. Catori briskly came up behind it and crouched, looking between Kiba and the rabbit, as though inviting him to make the kill. Her biggest reason for the hunt was to help teach Kiba. She had eaten well recently, and had no intentions of eating any of the rabbit herself.

Kiba crouched down and then jumped inched a couple inches closer until he finally jumped up at the rabbit. When Kiba landed he pined the creature to the ground. Kiba looked at the rabbit for a few seconds until finally he struck the final blow to the creature killing it.

Catori stood out of her crouched position, then gave a wolfish congratulatory grin to Kiba. The hunt had gone much easier than she'd hoped, and she was proud that he'd made such a quick kill. She had a feeling he'd be very useful in her future hunts. After all, wolves were much better suiting hunting in groups or pairs, rather than alone.

Mason glanced toward Peter again. "Oh that's nice then. I don't think I did see her actually." He said to her with a small smiled. At least she wasn't completely alone, though she still would have been alone for quite a few years he supposed. "It's a nice castle. Do you own it or was it empty before you?" He asked her curiously.

Kiba smiled and then nudged his kill closer to Catori and said," As thanks for being such a great teacher I wish to have the first taste of this fresh kill."

Aurora fell silent for a moment, contemplating the best way to respond, "I'm not sure if 'own' is the proper word. I was born here, and lived with my parents until I was almost nine years old. I don't think anyone else lived here before then, at least not for a very long time."
Peter was just waiting on the right moment to casually and inconspicuously peer at her through his reveal-glass. He was still very interested in what it might reveal about her species.
Catori declined the offer and politely nosed the rabbit back towards Kiba. She wasn't hungry, and knew he needed the nourishment much more than she did.

Kiba looked at Catori and then the rabbit and said," Okay then if you are sure about this." Kiba then laid down on the ground and started to eat the rabbit.

Mason shrugged and nodded He wondered what happened to her parents, but he didn't want to ask that, plus he thought he may already have an idea of what happened to them. "Hey I'm not judging." He said then chuckled slightly. "Heh, even in another completely different dimension, I still find another mansion salvation." He said, partly to himself.

Catori went over and sat against a tree, glancing at Kiba every now and then with the look of a satisfied teacher.
Aurora wondered what a mansion was, but neglected to ask about it, "Well, just make yourself at home. There's plenty of rooms here — what are you doing?" She suddenly turned and snapped at Peter, eyes narrowed.
Peter had finally withdrew the special viewing glass from his back pocket, and was now gaping at Aurora through it as though she'd grown a second head. Which, actually, wasn't too far from the truth as far as the lens was concerned. If one were to look through it, they'd see a glowing blue aura surrounding Aurora; it was shaped exactly like a werewolf. Peter had to bite his tongue to keep from cackling. I was right! I knew it! There was also a slightly greenish hue around the girl. It was more pronounced around her ears, which were hidden beneath her hair as always. What did the green mean? Was she something else besides a werewolf?

The manticore grinned maliciously at Alfonse, murder and hunger in its eyes as its scorpion tail flicked with glee. With an eldritch roar, the beast lunged again with its maw stretched open as far as it would go. And... what comes next needn't be described in any sort of vicious detail. You can probably figure it out for yourself. If one was really curious and wanted to see what happened next for themselves in a much less brutal and kid-friendly way... then they could click the spoiler below. (Warning! It ain't pretty...) (I AM CACKLING) Alfonse shut his eyes and tried not to think about the manticore's hot breath on his skin, or its teeth chewing him to bits. He reminded himself that he would regenerate immediately after, but the thought wasn't helped by the fact that he would soon be broken down repeatedly by the beast's stomach acid. He wondered if he should try to make it sick, or if he should wait and... well, let the digestive system do its job. The manticore completely devoured its meal in under a minute, leaving no trace behind of Alfonse. It didn't yet know it, but the beast was going to have a MAJOR bellyache later on. For now, it was content to march back through the woods from whence it came. The sun was due to be up soon, and the monster knew better than to stick around for that.

"He told me it this thing that shows what you really are. Like he and I are a mutant, so we have a...what was it...blue aura around us." He explained to her. He then leaned back and looked through the lens himself. He tilted his head. "What's that?" He asked, meaning the blue silhouette. He wasn't acquainted with any werewolves so he didn't know what one would look like.

(Cory: I can't remember who last replied, but it doesn't matter too much. Unless you want me to go look for it. ^^) (Hi Winter ) "Red aura, actually." Peter corrected, grinning. Aurora stiffened upon hearing what the device was used for, "I-it does what??" She stammered uneasily. Ignoring her, Peter turned to Mason, "That," he motioned to the blue wolf-shaped glow, "Is, to my best guess, a werewolf shaped aura." Aurora's gonna kill me...

Alfonse remained in the beast's belly for some time. He frowned as he recognized a few chunks of himself floating in the beast's stomach. His lower half burned fiercely from the beast's stomach acid, and he decided that perhaps, before he suffocated, or died again from the digestive processes, he would enjoy himself. He drew back a scrawny fist with a smirk and punched the lining of the manticore's stomach. This sort of undignified behavior would never have been acceptable if he had been around others, but, since he was alone, and being digested at a relatively quick rate, well, what was the harm?

Mason could hear that she didn't like what they were doing in her voice and he frowned. He went to push the device so it was facing somewhere else. "I think that's enough." He said sternly to Peter. He then looked in Arora's direction, curiosity in his eyes. "What wrong with being...that?" He asked, figuring she would not appreciate it if he called her a werewolf.

(Well, Pan is in the kitchen if you and Winter want to RP :3 I don't think she's met Lani yet.)
The manticore unleashed a deep roar upon having its inner gullet punched. It wasn't used to its prey fighting back. Shouldn't it already be dead and digested by now?
Aurora's expression was completely livid when she looked at Peter again. Her shaking hands curled into fists and she couldn't even think of a response to him. To Mason, she replied, "N-nothing. Nothing's wrong with it. I just prefer my privacy." Her eyes narrowed at Peter, and he took that as a cue to run before she seized the glass and broke it... or worse.

Alfonse chuckled at the roar and began to tickle the manticore's stomach. He was beginning to feel nauseous from the whole ordeal, but made an attempt to ignore it in favor of making the monster's next few hours miserable.

He wasn't really angry at him, just disappointed. He was now though more curious about Aurora, though he understood her privacy and would make sure he didn't ask yet. And he wouldn't tell anyone else either.
