‘Aurora’ blinked slowly. “Oh, right. Well, I just thought you meant that you did it a second time.” She quickly amended. “Have you guys saw Catori around lately?” ‘Aurora’ asked, deciding to change the subject.
Catori was currently taking an undisturbed nap in Aurora’s room, as she often did in the evenings.

Cosmos lowered his head toward Aurora as she walked forward a few steps with an outstretched hand before being stopped by Peter. Alice glanced over at Aurora before shaking her head, she was about to take a step forward - seeming convinced that the book was a lie; but before she could, however, the beast's white eyes widened and it's pulled back; stumbling as it let out screeches as though it was in agony. As it cried out, Cosmos threw it's head back - a large white ball of energy, growing in size, formed in its mouth.
Alice took a step back before Danny, her eyes widened in fear. "I think you might have to try." She said in response to the person's question. "Run!" She suddenly shouted out in alarm.

Athena nodded, "Just keep yourself safe. You wouldn't want anything to happen to your-" She glanced up, hearing a loud smash as the creature flew down from the sky. She could just see it past the tips of the trees. "Let's go!" She instantly added on.

Danny frowned at the creature before sighing, "I am gonna hate this." He muttered before giving his head a quick shake, "Everyone back away!" He shouted before hunching over. The transformation was never an easy thing for him because of the pain, but if people were in danger he'd be willing to deal with it. At first it seemed as nothing was happening until it was noticeable that the air around his was getting darker to the point that he couldn't be seen. This dark spot slowly expanded a good nine feet out from where Danny once stood until a large four legged creature with fur darker then black could be seen in the spot instead. The creature shook it's head causing it four ears to slap against each other before letting out a screech that could hurt a normal humans hearing.

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you."  Claudia nodded and was about to tell Athena the same when she heard another creature sound and flinched from the loudness. With a frown she started towards the sound.
Runa smiled and debated hurrying along the potion to release it's contagious fumes. |

Aurora’s own eyes went wide as the ball of energy formed in the creature’s mouth. Though she still wasn’t clear on what it was, or what was going on, instinct was enough to tell her this was very bad. She took a protective step in front of Peter and drove him backward toward the castle. Aurora and Peter both heard the command to run, but they were too much in shock to move. It was not unlike one of those dreams, in which basic functions cease to work in the presence of a monster. Upon the ear-splitting cry from Danny, however, both of them drew their hands over their ears with a pained wince.
“Ohh… Right. So she’s in Au--um, my room.” ‘Aurora’ nodded once with a goofy grin. “Are you guys hungry?” She asked with a slight head tilt.
As Loki prodded the dark, sludgy material, it suddenly released a hot vapor. That certainly wasn’t supposed to happen. He quickly leapt back, but he wasn’t fast enough. The potion’s fumes entered in his nose and open mouth, burning his throat with sickly sweetness before reaching his larynx and lungs. His eyes widened as he felt a peculiar reaction begin to arise in his chest, and quickly covered his mouth, wearing a very involuntary smile.

Kiba and Damocles looked at eachother and then at 'Aurora' and Kiba said," sue we could go for a bite to eat big sis." Kba and Damocles then started to circle her as they waited for her to walk.

Alice covered her eyes painfully at the deafening roar. She glanced across at Danny through squinted eyes before glancing up at Cosmos - frozen in place with terror.
The glowing white ball of energy grew to the size of a head before being fired in a large, powerful beam of colours; reds, greens and blues - with white aura's gushing out as it was fired. The beam drew upwards from the ground just before the group to the trees. The destructive beam froze the surroundings before lighting them with a flame - causing the areas affected by the beam to let out several explosions.
Cosmos glared down at Danny as the person shifted, it's pain slowly changing to annoyance as the beast realised that Danny was going to try and attack it. Cosmos let out a screech, releasing an extremely cold aura.

"It's like there's a party or something." Athena stated with a frown, she took the aegis from her side and held it with one arm. She then turned and quickly followed after Claudia, following the sounds as she heard the bang of some sort of attack.

The creature made a sort of snort sound as it felt the cold Aura but with a brisk shake he reared up onto his hind legs before screeching again. It was trying to get the colorful bird to attack first.

'Aurora’ had no trouble descending the stairs, in spite of the two chimeras encircling her as she walked. In life, she’d had the balance of a cat, but she didn’t need that so much anymore since she was lighter than air. It made the chance of tripping or falling nigh impossible. She, of course, heard the commotion transpiring outside but pretended not to. Whether she liked it or not, she had orders to follow.
Aurora leaped back as the blast of energy scorched a portion of the clearing. She wasn’t sure what this creature even was, much less how to combat or deal with the problem.
Peter was almost as equally dumbfounded, even with his limited knowledge of Cosmos. The two of them gradually found themselves slowly retreating backward to the open door of their safe haven. Peter’s eyes went a little wide at what happened next.
Icarus had been closely monitoring Peter while he was at the castle. He’d briefly gotten distracted, but the sounds of the bird monster’s screech were enough to quickly refocus his attention. The young Arcanian soldier was airborne, courtesy of his military grade carbon wings. As he flew over the clearing, he swooped low and fired an energy pulse at the four-winged beast. He figured at the very least, it would temporarily stun it. With any luck. Immediately following the shot, he turned to his brother and gestured wildly. “Quit standing around! Everyone inside!”

Damcoles and Kiba ran into the kitchen and sat down on the floor. As they waited for ' Aurora' to follow them Kiba asked," so what do you think big sis will make this time?" Damocles shrugged and said," I don't know but I bet it will be good."

'Aurora’ arrived in the kitchen less than half a minute after the chimera brothers did. “Do you guys like sandwiches?” She knew there weren’t many ingredients just laying around in a place like the castle, so most modern meals were out of the question. Bread was plenteous in the original castle and she’d made many sandwiches there. With any luck, this 'new' castle would at least have bread.

Cosmos turned and saw the energy ball zoom towards it, the bird used it's wings the slow down the speed of the moving ball before absorbing it. At least it was distracted for a moment... It didn't seem to notice Athena and Claudia approach from another way.
Alice turned back to Peter and the others to make sure they were going to head into the castle. She turned her head back towards Cosmos, her eyes suddenly widening. Cosmos opened it's mouth, forming another ball of energy and firing it towards it's owner, however instead of it changing into a beam - it stayed the shape of an orb. Alice let out a cry and reacted by holding her hands in front of her face and turning away slightly. However it was too late, the attack flashed and exploded as it hit it's target.
Not too far from the mountains, Keldeo sat on one of the steady branches of a tall tree. It was peacefully watching the surroundings before it's gaze lifted up towards the castle in the distance. It could see a strange glow, surely something was wrong?

Athena rushed into the scene beside Claudia and glanced up at the beast, strangely enough she didn't seem scared - though she was unaware of the beast powers. "What is that?" She glared up at Cosmos before looking over at Danny, not recognising the two as anything she has seen before.

Loki turned when he heard someone laugh. One hand was gripped tightly over his mouth, the other around his slender throat. He didn’t recognize the young woman but her reaction was a dead giveaway that she must be involved. Somehow. All at once, the trickster removed the hand from over his mouth and started to shout ‘what’, but all that left his open mouth was a strangled sounding fit of laughter that he had no control over. Fortunately, his thoughts seemed unaffected by whatever was happening to him. ’Who are you? What is this?!’
Aurora still had her hand around Peter’s arm, gently trying to lead him back to the castle, when the boy suddenly ran toward Alice. The elf girl was pulled along with him, momentarily stunned by his strength. Peter’s efforts were in vain. He reached his newest friend only a moment after she was hit by the energy orb. (Feel free to hit both of them and Icarus. The latter’s suit will protect him for the most part, but it will damage his wings.)
Icarus ran around the edge of the clearing, attempting to reach his younger brother before the bird beast could harm him. His orders to retreat to safety seemed to have fallen on deaf ears. It would be up to him to get everyone inside, he decided. The soldier winced as the young girl was struck by the blast.

Alice was thrown again a nearby tree, several scars and severe burns across her body. Before she hit the tree, the girl widened her eyes as the bag on her back completely tore in half - eight triangle-shaped black plates were thrown in different directions in the air and were scattered around the large clearing.
Cosmos watched as Peter and Aurora raced after his owner, his eyes glowed deeply and the beast fired a beam directly at Aurora and Peter before dragging the across towards Icarus. The beam let off several eruptions as it collided. It then turned towards Danny, noticing him as a threat. Cosmos opened it's mouth and shot a beam of what looked like a blue and green flame towards Danny. Before the fire reached the target, it split off into several directions; surrounding the target completely with only a few gaps. The fire then froze into a thick, strangely coloured ice to temporarily trap Danny.

Athena noticed the trouble the others were in. "Mortals." She commented with a sigh and brought her spear up to her side; the tip ignited into a hot flame.

The creature got an annoyed look before using some magic to just transfer himself outside of the ice before charging at Cosmo. He didn't understand the objects that scattered around but he made sure to not step on any of them.

Loki continued to struggle through the involuntary, potion-induced laughter. It was hard to think, much less communicate. He found himself grateful for telepathy. When Runa made her statement, the trickster’s green eyes went a little wide. If she were from another universe, then how did she end up there? Not that it wasn’t impossible, but it seemed entirely too much of a coincidence for her to have arrived merely by happenstance. The question was obvious in his eyes. ’What have you done to me?’ Was the question he decided to ask instead.
Peter barely had time to notice the black triangles, which he figured were the restrictors, before the beam hit him. He fell to the ground with a strangled gasp, his skin burning and stinging in numerous places. As he glanced over, he noticed Aurora crumpled in a heap nearby, presumably having been hit too. His eyes squeezed shut after that.
As much as Icarus wanted to continue battling the creature, there were civilians to which needed attending. Others had appeared ready to fight the bird beast, and the soldier decided to let them handle the situation. For now, he had to make sure the three kids were safe. He reached his brother’s side and helped him into the castle first, since he was closest. Aurora was carried inside next and left just inside the entrance. Icarus then set his sight upon Alice. She appeared worse off than the other two, but honestly, he couldn’t tell for sure. He lifted the girl into his arms and hurried to the castle with her. The black triangles had all but escaped his attention.
“Alrighty!” ‘Aurora’ gave a slight nod and located a homemade loaf of bread. After cutting it into slices, she used what ingredients were on hand to craft together four simple sandwiches. They lacked condiments, but hopefully it wouldn’t leave them too dry. She put two plates on the floor, each loaded with one of the sandwiches. “Bon appetite!” The girl said with a slight bow.

Runa noticed the question in his eye and momentarily seemed worried but when he asked what had she done her eyes seemed to literally twinkle, "Oh, just did my favorite prank that I'd pull on the Asgardians." She answered proudly and in a childish way wondered if her father would be proud of her for pranking the Asgardians. |

Sabrina readjusted their position on Runa’s shoulder and peered around her neck at the cackling man.
’You… messed up my potion?’ Loki didn’t know whether to be angry or impressed. Some part of him took note of the fact that she’d just admitted to pranking the Asgardians of her universe, but it was awfully hard to feel any sort of pride when he could hardly breathe for laughter. The potion’s effect was quickly turning his annoyance to outright anger. Loki’s eyes began to slightly bulge and his face was starting to flush. He wondered if a child could better withstand the effects, and immediately shapeshifted into his kid-self to test and see. It was only mildly less uncomfortable.

Cosmos let out a screech, firing a large orange orb half the size of it's own body towards Danny. With the beating of massive wings, the bird conjured up strong winds to slow down the opponent before firing an beam at the ground just ahead of Danny; creating extremely cold 'flames' to block the creature off.
The beast's attention was then drawn to one of the black objects close by. He threw his head back, preparing a massive beam of energy at the object before firing. The object let off an ominous red glow before it was consumed by flames, but as the smoke cleared the object was still in one piece. Only a few scratches. The object had... protected itself?

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." "No! I have some respect. I put yours in the dark purple vial before brewing that one." Runa said actually seeming a little hurt that she was accused of ruining a potion. She though quickly forgot the wound to her pride as she watched him shift forms. "You know, children normally are more susceptible to the laughter." She added before petting Sabrina. She was also starting to wonder about how he'll react after she tells him what her Odin was planning.
Claudia chuckled at Athena's comment before noticing the black plates. "Darling, I thing I have a plan." She said to her before pointing her scythe at the restricters. |

Kiba and Damocles looked at the sandwiches as they were set down in front of them. The two quickly ate them and once they were done Kiba asked," so who are you really cause I know you aren't big sis Aurora."

Icarus gingerly set Alice down alongside Aurora and Peter. After checking all of their vitals, he darted back outside to contend with the winged monstrosity causing terror. He aimed and fired another laser-like blast at its back.
Peter and Aurora were conscious, but though they weren’t bleeding or burned too severely, they appeared to be in a medical state of shock. Neither of them spoke a word.
Loki was mildly surprised to hear that this -- Runa, was it? -- had taken care to see that his other potion wasn’t ruined or wasted. He was sure Morgan would not have shown the same kind of regards. It was because of her, after all, that he was having to rebuild his entire stock from scratch. The trickster was dismayed to learn that she was, for the most part, right about children and laughter, but at least he no longer sounded like a buffoon. It was perfectly natural for a child to laugh, after all. Loki wondered if the potion extended to his animal forms as well. He briefly transitioned between a few of them, but the effects were the same. Beginning to feel exhausted, he switched back to his young form. Though he continued to laugh, his eyes were immensely peeved. ’What is the purpose of this?’ He demanded.
Upon being petted, Sabrina made a soft warbling sound and arched their back like a cat.
“Huh? What do you mean by that?” She crossed her arms in front of her chest and gave a very Aurora-like frown at them. Surely she hadn’t slipped up? After all, few people could possibly know Aurora better than she did.

Athena looked down at the black plate, hm... strange. "What even is it?" She said as she turned to walk over and pick the object up. "Go ahead," She stated in response to Claudia.
As Alice was placed next to Peter and Aurora, she stirred slightly before blacking out again; she was in too much pain from the attack to barely move... and think.
Cosmos turned fired a blue energy beam back at Icarus, obliterating the laser the solider shot at it. Cosmos kept shooting beams of powerful energy, attempting to hit and completely destroy the 'armour' the solider had on.
It's gaze was drawn over to Claudia and Athena when the Goddess stepped forward to take the black object. It stepped in between the object and the two people, talons tearing up the ground below. One talon stepped onto the black object to prevent Claudia or Athena getting to it while trying to destroy it but as it did, the object began to glow red like it did before.
