Cosmos didn't respond, though there was a strong sense of guilt from the bird. It's entire body flashed white before starting to distintergrate into dust. The cosmic dust seeped out of Peter's hands - swirling three times around the groups before shooting up into the sky. Alice looked around as the body of dust circled around them, taken aback by the whole array of colours and beauty. She shook to her to bring her back, "I- I don't know... maybe." She put her hand into her pocket before gasping in alarm. "My book!"

Athena leaned back, chuckling lightly. "I know some of the gods and goddesses i know can back you up. They have got into maybe just a little bit of trouble when it came to their demigod children." As she picked up the tea cup and took a sip, her eyes tore away from Claudia and was focused on the portal up in the sky. Putting down her cup, she pointed up at it to Claudia. "I'm sure that's not normal. Is it?"

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you."  Claudia looked up before shaking her head. She quickly stood up and her first thought was to make sure no one in the castle could come out if it was something dangerous. "Let's take care of it. I'll deal with the castle first."
She said before summoning her scythe. |

Danny took a step back startled. In all his life, he has never seen this phenomenon happen. "Well, I guess it's true what they say. 'Something new can happen everyday.'" He attempted to quote a human saying, though he meant 'Anything can happen.'

Peter watched, shocked, as the bird suddenly appeared to disintegrate and join the cosmic dust in the sky. This was bad. Very, very bad. The shout from Alice was enough to make the boy briefly leap from the ground. “Book? Uh, what book?” He measured his words carefully but there was guilt in his eyes. Maybe he could just toss the book to the ground when she wasn’t looking, and claim he only just found it. Would she believe him? Surely it must be of great importance, if she was concerned about it with… this going on. Perhaps the containments for Cosmos were actually inside the book all along.
It was obvious by Aurora’s expression that had absolutely no idea what was going on. “Would someone please explain?”
Loki, seeing as Morgan was gone, finally began the trek back upstairs. As far as the situation unravelling outside went, the trickster was either entirely oblivious or just simply apathetic. It was hard to tell with him. He was still in the guise of a cat for the moment, and failed to notice either Runa or Sabrina as he padded past them.

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." Runa watched the black cat confused for a moment before deciding to just shrug the cat off not realizing that the cat was Loki. But she was nearly bouncing with anticipation for Loki to find her little 'gift'. |

As the cat rounded the corner, it paused in front of the hidden door. Seeing no one around, it suddenly shapeshifted back into Loki and opened the door to the potions room.
Sabrina noticed this happen and let out a very quiet warble. Seeing the cat change was unexpected, and the furry creature was a confused blend of shock, fear and curiosity.

Sabrina made soft chirps of inquiry to Runa, wondering what was going on with the cat, and how it had turned into a man. To be honest, the creature didn’t know what a cat was either.
Loki’s green eyes browsed around the potions room as he stepped in. Nothing appeared out of place, but why should it? He’d taken special measures to safeguard against Morgan getting back into the room, and Raja was the only other one he knew of that could access it without his help. The potion on his work table appeared to be reaching the end of its brewing stage. He crossed the room and lowered the heat, not yet realizing anything to be off.

Athena nodded, she stood up, clapping her hands as she switched into an armour like outfit; a sharpened spear appeared in her hand. Her aegis was strapped to her side. She looked up at the portal, whatever was happening. It was not good. She had to make sure everyone was safely inside. She turned to Claudia, worried on how to pregnant reaper was going to handle things. "We need to make sure everyone is safe inside. If the castle really is a safe place like I've heard..."

The dust swirled, in the centre a black silhouette of the small bird formed for a few moments before shifting in shape and size. The dust spun into shape, lining up the body of a massive four winged creature.
Alice turned to Peter making the shape of a book with her hands. "It was green coloured, about this big - with blue handwriting." She started to panic and looked up at the sky again. "I'm pretty sure there was some information on how to stop it if it ever happened!" She groaned in frustration. She glanced over at Danny and then at Aurora. "Cosmos! He's ... he's reverting... bac-" She tore her gaze back up as the thing forming in the sky let out a loud, echoing screech.

Peter was half tempted to distract Alice and toss the book on the ground, pretending to find it, but that didn’t seem like it would work. In the end, he decided to just tell the truth. Well, a partial truth. “Oh!” He drew said book from his pocket, “I thought someone dropped it. I was gonna take it to the library.” Peter held it out for Alice, pretending as though he hadn’t actually peered inside it. He glanced up at the sky with a worried look as the girl mentioned Cosmos reverting. “R-reverting to w-what?” Peter asked, going pale as he noticed the four-winged creature.
(Blood: I’ve got Dragon Girl in the castle, but most of my other characters are either busy, or wouldn’t be able to interact well.)

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." Claudia nodded in agreement before purposefully walking towards the front of the castle. She had been here long enough that when it came to being outside people would either be near the garden or the front door. While,
she was walking she did glance up again only to blink at the new creature.
Runa chuckled before whispering, "My father can do magic." She explained simply before slipping closer to the room to get a better angle. |

(Yeah, Dragon Girl wasn’t originally going to be a character I used very much, but she’s just too fun not to. I don’t mind. Gonna be slow though. I’m using a phone, as usual, and the connection isn’t very strong. Pages are loading slowly.)
Sabrina made an ‘ohhh’ type sound, followed by a chirp that resembled an odd, gutteral chuckle. They turned to watch Loki as Runa drew closer to the potions room, fluffy tail draped around Runa's neck.
Something about the potion seemed… off. The corner’s of Loki’s mouth drew downward into a frown. Had he used too much of an ingredient? Too little? Was the compound brewed for too long, or at too high of a temperature? Too low? Argh. There were so many things that could go wrong with potion making. If it wasn’t done perfectly, the results could be disastrous. This was particularly true with the potions that the trickster dabbled with. Carefully, he drew a stirring instrument and carefully prodded the dark, soupy material as it cooled.
Dragon Girl, in the guise of Aurora, strode down a hall on the castle’s second floor. She was getting better at mimicking other people, but the voices were still difficult to get exactly right. At least she had the tangibility part under better control now.

Kiba and Damocles ran up to what looked like Aurora and Kiba asked," hey big sis we have been looking around everywhere for you." Damocles then sniffed her and noticed raft she smelt different.

‘Aurora’ turned slowly on one foot and grinned down at the chimera brothers. “Hiya! I’ve been a little busy with castle leader stuff. Whatsup?” She managed to fake the voice, but of course she would smell different. In fact, there was no scent at all. It was as though she wasn’t even there.

Alice quickly took the book from Peter, she hastily flicked through the pages over the book. She shook her head, it was already too late to do anything. The beast let out another echoed cry, sending out massive shockwaves from it's body as the dust finished forming the body. It opened it's four wings and soared downwards, it's large talons tearing up the ground as it landed a few feet from the group. It towered above - staring down at Aurora, Peter, Alice and Danny; it's once black eyes had changed to a blank white. "That's Cosmos' origin forme..." Alice stated, staring up at the bird. It didn't seem to be hostile - not yet.

Athena followed, noticing the portal disappear and a creature form and fly down from the vortex of the dust. "We have to be careful," She warned Claudia, her little owl flying out from the forest and landed on her shoulder. Turning it's head so it was looking behind the goddess.

"It's not a natural creature is it?" Danny asked while staring at the large bird. He also noticed that Alice didn't mention anything about stopping the bird or changing it back, which he took as there wasn't a way. "Also, what's the plan now? Because I surely will not shift forms unless nothing else works." He added hoping that there might be something they could do.

Peter began to back away toward the castle entrance, but halted upon seeing Aurora take an emboldened step toward the creature. She failed to grasp how something so beautiful could be dangerous. As she extended a hand toward the giant, cosmic bird, Peter grabbed her by the arm and yanked her backward. “Don’t!” He hissed. The boy glanced at Danny but didn’t recognize him. It was clear by his expression that he had no idea what to do. He merely shrugged in dismay.
‘Aurora’ batted her eyelashes innocently and brought a hand to the side of her face. “What do you mean? Are you saying that I stink?” Upon asking the question, she looked a little hurt over it. She wasn’t entirely sure what they meant by that. Perhaps they were confused by her lack of a scent.

‘Aurora’ looked between the two of them before crossing her arms. “How is it different then?” She asked curiously. A thought crossed through her mind and she made a face. No, I’m not doing that. Shoo. Go away. She mentally replied to a voice that only she could hear.

(OH. Dragon Girl isn’t actually a dragon. She just wears a dragon mask when not pretending to be anyone else. X’D She’s a ghost, so she has no scent.)
‘Aurora’ tilted her head the other way. “Fried lizard? No, not recently.” She joked. It had actually been many years since she’d last eaten anything. Perhaps she’d accidentally brushed up against one of the castle’s dragons while walking around. (I’ll just say that’s where the smell came from.) “What about you guys? Did you have any fried lizard?” She pretended to take a wiff of the air, even though she was no longer capable of smelling anything.

“You accidentally burned the kitchen?” ‘Aurora’ was either very surprised, or very upset about that. Her resulting expression could be interpreted either way. She half wanted to ask Kiba how he’d managed to do that. It sounded fun.
