The raven-haired child managed an eyeroll between laughs. He loved pranks, yes, but only when they were inflicted on other people. At the next part spoken, however, Loki looked positively dumbfounded. When he’d first learned of Raja, he’d believed -- hoped -- that Odin and the rest were unaware of his existence. After reading Raja’s mind, the dream he’d seen proved otherwise, and yet… He’d still held onto the hope that they’d leave him out of it, at the very least. That was obviously not the case. Was that why Runa had traveled here? The child trickster was so shocked by the news, he hadn’t yet realized the effects from the potion were slowly beginning to subside. Finally, Loki shook his head. ’No… I cannot tell him. There is some other way to handle it, of this I am sure.’ Although, his mental voice didn’t sound so sure.
Icarus uttered a noise of frustration as the laser gun proved ineffective. Once more, he was stunned when the gun was suddenly obliterated. As the bird monster started shooting more beams at him, Icarus turned and shielded himself with his carbon wings. They were nearly indestructible themselves, but the circuit boards that made them work were left momentarily open and vulnerable. Still, temporarily losing the function of the wings was better than being fried, and Icarus was no coward. The Arcanian soldier was determined to stay and fight.

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you."  Runa frowned and decided to replay the new memory of what had happened though, she left out how she had gotten Sabrina and how she had gotten here. "If there was a way I wouldn't be worried about my family. And encase you have forgotten, Odin is crazier then a pirate falling in love with a mermaid." She added after the memory was finished.
"This thing wants those black things gone. It fears them for a reason." Claudia quickly explained to Athena before running around to the other side of Cosmo to serve as a distraction. |

Cosmos opened it's mouth, taking a few seconds to charge up a white energy ball before firing at Icarus as the solider used the wings to shield himself. Before the bird could attack for long, it let out a screech and stumbled away from the black, triangle plate it was trying to crush. The talon that had ahold of the plate let go and froze into place for a few seconds, letting out red sparks as though the object had... temporarily paralysed one of the beast's talons. It glared at Claudia before trying to aim an energy orb at her, though with one paralysed foot, it was slightly difficult.
"You're right!" Athena said as she ran foward and picked the object up, surprised by how heavy it actually was; despite only need to hold it in one hand.
There was a flash moving through the trees, towards the castle. Starting from the mountains, it might take some time before it reached the castle; but it was several times the speed of a normal human running anyway.

The creature seemed to almost frown when Cosmo redirected it's attention to someone else. After a few moments of staring at Claudia it dawned on him that she is pregnant and felt that she shouldn't be fighting. So, he went to stand between Cosmo and Claudia.

The child trickster cocked his head at Runa. “Heheh… heh… “ He coughed and squinted a few times. “A different Odin is after this Raja? Why?” Loki was equally curious and concerned now about how Runa got to the castle. If she got there so easily, what was stopping the others from coming too? One Odin was bad enough, but two? The very thought was appalling. He decided not to comment on the strange comparison. Odin was indeed out of his mind but this was no laughing matter. Finally, Loki seemed to surrender somewhat. Staring at the floor in a dejected manner, he agreed to tell Raja the truth, but he gave no promises on when he would do so.
Icarus winced as he heard a few electrical hisses and pops. The structural integrity of the wings was holding, at least. He waited until the energy seemed to dissipate before risking a glance over his shoulder. The bird’s attention seemed to be on two oddly clad women and a... creature. Icarus finally noticed the black triangles. The young soldier had no idea what those were. They looked… almost Arcanian? That couldn’t be so. He shook his head and produced another object, previously affixed at his side. A button was pressed, and a concentrated object of plasma formed from the tip. It hummed and resembled a sort of energy sword. Icarus raced toward the beast with it. (Oh dear. He has a light saber.)

(Just letting you guys know. The birds name is Cosmos not Cosmo X3 )
Athena recognised what Claudia was planning to do, it was too dangerous; espeically if she was pregnant. Bedore she could react, she noticed the strange creature step between Claudia and Cosmos. After studying the plate for a few seconds, something clicked in the wisdom goddess' mind. She turned to throw the plate towards Claudia but the beam had already been fired before she could do so.
Several shockwaves of energy began to pulse around Cosmos as it gather energy before firing the attack in a white and red beam straight at Claudia. But after the attack fired, the bird noticed Danny step between. It seemed to ignore Icarus, seeing the creature as more of a threat.

Odin didn't like that I found out I had a brother and killed him now he regrets it and is going to try to use this one." She explained carefully before looking down at her feet.
Claudia was about to swing her scythe like a baseball bat when Danny stepped in front of her. "Just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean I can't fight." She muttered |

The creature sat on its hind legs to catch any attacks with the scales on his stomach. While he was mostly covered in thick fur the placed that would have been considered soft or weak spots had scales instead. He was also trying to think of how to pin the bird.

Icarus took advantage of the creature distracting the bird. When Cosmos’ back was turned, the soldier crept up and struck at its right talon with the energized weapon. He’d noticed the weird reaction earlier and hoped that targeting the creature’s foot would at least catch it off guard. Icarus heard Claudia’s words and looked up curiously. Not only was a civilian fighting, but she was doing so while pregnant? Not a good idea. His opinion was plainly evident with the look he gave her.
‘Aurora’ raised an eyebrow. “Auras can change colors, you know. They don't always stay the same, all the time.” She said this with a smile. Crud. Crud. Crud. Crud. Crud! How much longer is this fight gonna last, anyway?! The girl thought frantically.

Damocles looked at Kiba and said," haven't you said before that you have seen her aura change before." Kiba blinked and said," oh yeah." Kiba then looked at 'Aurora' and said," I am sorry big sis I don't know what I was thinking."

Cosmos let out a roar-like cry as it was struck by Icarus' weapon, it lifted a talon into the air and swatted at the solider to try and pin it down. It then spread it's four wings and leaped backwards so that all the attacks were in front of it; before it opened it's mouth and wings creating a large orange orb growing to the size of it's own body.
It fired the massive orange orb at the group, not giving any time for the others to fight back. As the massive ball of energy moved towards the others, something flashed past the group and jumped up at the orb. Keldeo's eyes glowed as a massive glowing blade formed from it's horn - hitting the attack head on. Though it was unsure if it would stay that way.

Loki blanched at Runa’s words. He really had no words for that. Finally, he found his voice as he shifted forms to a young adult. “How… does he intend to travel here?” He wanted to ask the same about Runa, but figured he’d be enlightened to that by whatever explanation she gave about Odin’s method.
Aurora shrugged it off. “It’s fine. You probably just forgot.” She faked a yawn. “I was going to go up to the library for a while. You two want to come with me?” The fake Aurora was doing everything she could now to act and speak exactly like the real one. Surprisingly, she was doing a good job of it.
Icarus leaped back as the bird discharged more energy toward all of them. His wings went up around him protectively, in a last ditch effort to shield himself from the brunt of the attack.

Kiba and damocles looked at 'Aurora' and said," Sure big sis let's go." The two chimeras then started to run off towards the library. Once they were at the door of the libaray they sat down and waited for her to catch up.

'Aurora’ reached the library seconds after the chimera brothers had. She managed to cross distances rather quickly, although her movements were nearly silent. The girl walked into the library and had a look around. ‘Aurora’ wore the expression indicative of someone very familiar with their surroundings, although she was still relatively new to this ‘other’ castle library. For one thing, it seemed to contain a lot more books on a wider range of subjects. Fortunately, the really weird books seemed to be absent. Good. Yet another way this castle was better than the last. “Do either of you know how to read?”
Loki paused. “What was his… original plan, and how did you arrive?” He asked carefully. Little did he realize the answer to both questions lay in the furry, innocuous looking creature perched atop Runa’s shoulders. The trickster paid no attention to it. True, it was rather exotic and he had no idea what it was, but that mattered little to him.

Keldeo slasheed through the attack, splitting the orb into two and sending it loitering in differrent directions. Keldeo soared up into the air, slashing with a sharped blade against the crown of the massive bird's head. Cosmos let out an alarmed screech but reacted quickly though by grabbing a part of Keldeo's tail and smashing the creature into the ground with brute force. It then turned and started moving over towards Icarus, Danny, Claudia and Athena.

“Oh? That’s good. Everyone should know how to read. I’m sure Marcy would find it convenient too, that more people around here can read. She can only communicate through writing.” ‘Aurora’ mused with a light chuckle. She felt bad for the girl. At least this ‘new’ version of Marcy seemed to be better off than the last. Older, and a lot more sane.

"I’m not surprised you don’t know her by name. Marcy is mute, meaning she can’t talk, so it's hard for her to introduce herself. She has cherry red hair, and wears a hoody with black and white stripes. She’s been here a couple of months now, but... I think she stays to herself most of the time.” ‘Aurora’ rambled. “You guys should get to know more of the residents sometime. You know, make more friends, so you can interact with more people.” She suggested with a smile.

Danny shook his head while thinking to himself of a way to get the Cosmos away from all the human looking people. After a moment of thought he lept at Cosmos hoping to knock the bird like creature into the trees not knowing about the magic circling the clearing that the castle sat in.

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." “Well the creature looked pretty cool in my opinion, it was nearly as large as Fenrir and it didn’t have any noticeable skin or fur. Oh and its tail had lots of spikes.” Runa explained to make it seem like she didn’t even know what she had encountered. “I pretty much saved it from Odin and in return it saved me.” She added hoping that would explain how she got there.
Claudia blinked as Cosmos started in the direction of everyone. She glanced at Athena, “We need to get those black panels on the creature.” She said before bolting off towards one them hoping that the guy also heard her.

Icarus watched in shock as a horned creature suddenly leapt in to fight the bird beast. However, the distraction was short-lived as it seemed to finish the equine off, then move in on him and the others. The young man stepped in front of Claudia and Athena, his weapon held out defensively. “Stay behind me.” He advised the women. However, before he’d hardly got the words out of his mouth, the woman with the rounded belly and sharp scythe suddenly sprinted off. The soldier cursed beneath his breath and raced after her.
“Hmm… You’re right about one thing, I suppose. A lot of people do get brought in. It’s hard to keep up with who lives here, much less who knows who.” ‘Aurora’ shrugged. “Guess there are some imaginative people out there. Or they’re just bored.” She muttered cryptically. “I’m just lucky to have ended up with a good memory.” The girl said with a smirk.
Loki listened in utter silence as Runa described a creature. His features paled, his lips went taut and his hands flexed at his sides. Surely she wasn’t talking about them. No. It couldn’t be. They were ruthless. The idea of one helping someone was ludicrous. But… then how was she able to describe one in such perfect detail? The trickster suddenly felt very uneasy. “Are… you saying that Odin captured a… No, it cannot be.” He shook his head. “It must have been some other creature.” He muttered, mainly to himself.
Sabrina turned to look at Runa, then back to Loki with a short little squeak. Though, the god of mischief paid no attention at all to the furry creature.

She said and wondered if she should try to poke around Loki's thoughts. She didn't doubt her ability to find what she wanted. She just didn't want to find something that she didn't want to know. Plus if the king of the Asgardians couldn't detect her when she was really trying surely he wouldn't be able to if she just stuck to the surface. |

“I am sure it is nothing…” Loki muttered. “I thought you were describing a particular kind of creature, but that is obviously not the case.” The trickster made a face and suppressed a shudder. Though he’d never had to deal the beasts himself, he had bore witness to someone else being torn apart by them. He had only caught the briefest of glimpses of one, and the monsters were one of the few things in existence that truly frightened him.
Sabrina made an odd, purring type sound as they were petted. The creature’s back arched briefly before it lay down again across the young woman’s shoulders, eyeing Loki curiously.

And do you know what abilities it has? And what is its name?" She asked with a child like curiosity. |

It was clear by the expression on the trickster’s face that the questions made him deeply uncomfortable. Perhaps Loki was subject to some irrational fear, that should he mention anything about the beasts, it would be enough to summon them. He was unsure who the beasts targeted, or why. Loki was not willing to risk any chances with them. “The creatures are one of the most successful, lethal killing machines in existence. Their abilities are largely unknown, and I am unaware of their true name.” He firmly refused to speak another word about them, though, that didn’t stop him from thinking about them. Terrifying images, and brief snippets of information went through his mind unwittingly.
