That's horrible! I'm sorry to hear about your grandma and your cat babies <\3 Sending the best of vibes and hoping things look up for you soon.
(Also obvs I'm not happy that you're going through so much heck, but I'm glad/relived you're at least alive and somewhat well, since we hadn't heard from you in a little bit. Also I know it sounds dumb but please don't hurt yourself? You haven't done anything to deserve whatever nasty stuff the universe seems to be throwing your way ATM, you're a cool dude who deserves to push on and get a better outcome soon enough)

I'm sorry you are going through all of that. Stay strong and I hope things start to get better for you, I really do!

(I'll just post this here, since I know we discussed dreams not that far back)
I've been having a series of...I'm not sure if I can say unpleasant, but certainly uncomfortable and unsettling dreams. Objectively, nothing happens in them that would be harmful, but coming from my perspective, they're awful, considering a lot of their focal points seem to be around me spending time with people who, IRL, I consider to be toxic/don't even communicate with anymore because of this.
It sucks, because I've read/heard that dreams are basically a summary of your subconscious mind's thoughts the day previous? I'm beginning to have a love-hate relationship with my brain. I shouldn't be thinking of these people, most of them have done nothing but cause me pain and they aren't worth a second of my time. It's also unfortunate because when I wake up in the mornings I don't feel refreshed, I just feel confused and mentally exhausted thinking back on whatever the dream was.
Sorry for the rant, this has just really been bothering me lately.

I know I shouldn't be surprised considering tarot cards and spell books and the like are already available at B&N, but apparently they have Ouija boards available as well. What disturbs me though, more than they have them in stock at all, is that it's in the board game section of the store.

𝓣𝓲𝓷𝓾𝓿𝓲𝓮𝓵 Sounds to me like someone's asking for trouble O.O I can't imagine what would drive someone to market one of those as a board game? That could get really dangerous, esp. in a party setting where everyone's a skeptic/under the influence if you know what I mean. I feel like the spirits could just get provoked

Theyve almost always been in board games. Its marketing ploy, plus it is a board still.
Idk what to tell you about your dreams. Sounds exhausting. Drink chamomile?
I still feel like trash.

I Am In Your WallsTbh that might help? I have some really rockin chamomile tea I used to drink before bed all the time (it has natural relaxants in it as well). So I might dig that out and brew some. If all else fails I'm considering going to see a hypnosis therapist if it keeps up. Because rn I'm constantly tired and bitter. I'm sorry you're still feeling crummy :/

I know they've always been marketed as board games, but that doesn't make it any less disturbing.
And I hope you two feel better.

Small update:
The tea seems to have worked, at least for a night! I had a 10/10 sleep last night, I don't remember what I dreamt for the most part, but that's better than remembering uncomfortable details imo. So I should be fully functional today, yay

Classes start tomorrow, but I start school on Saturday (although I do have an online class for Math, so I guess I start Friday, but that can be taken anywhere since it's online).
I'm pretty nervous. Really, the only reason I even applied for college was to please my family and I'm kind of already regretting that decision. Sure, it might turn out to be a great experience for me, but I don't do well with stress.
I'm terrible at taking notes due to slow mobility, so I'm allowed to use my laptop for classes that don't require it. Only problem is, I'm not that fast of a typer (although it is faster then when writing in a notebook) and Microsoft Word won't let me type anything right now, but thank goodness for Google Docs.
Oh, and I just got a call from the school saying that they had to move me from one of my classes. I don't mind since it's now in the afternoon, but I'm still a little annoyed that they did it last minute. Oh well. At least they notified me at all.
And the night before, I had a dream about the family wanting me to go to Yale.

*pats Moth* It isn't as hard as you think. I stress, but that's me, not college. Have you tried asking your professors if you can record them in class? I don't take fast notes either, but ask if I can record and/or take pictures of the PowerPoints. Most of them have no problem with it, if it helps you get good grade. And it is just nice to have those recording or pictures to fall back on if the notes aren't catching everything. Also, sometimes, other students will share their notes with you if you ask. This way, you can check to see if they have written anything down that you might have missed. You can show them your notes as well, in case they missed something. These are just suggestions, which I use or know other people use. Hope that they help.

I'm not even sure if recording is allowed, but I could ask if I could take pictures of the notes if necessary. That's actually what I did in high school and I'll ask the school's Office of Accessibility if either one is possible. I tend to be really anxious when talking to new people, but I'll definitely ask for notes if I need them. The school also has an app where I can connect with fellow classmates, so I might get through them using that as well. Really though, I think the only thing I'm looking forward to for college are the clubs. Only problem is that I think I can only choose one since all of them are on the same day, at the same time. Here are the ones I'm interested in: Anime Club Drama Club Writers Guild Chorus Club Jewlery Making Club Video Game Club I also have the option of suggesting a club. If I were to do that, then I would at least suggest a Book Club (which I'm surprised they don't have) or maybe even a Paganism Club (heavy emphasis on maybe).

I've had to ask three professors so far and usually the rule of thumb is that they'll let you record through lectures and things, but if they tell you to stop recording, stop recording. They've yet to ever tell me to do this, but it's the 'rules'. I've always gotten the sense that most of my professors will try to make sure that you can pass the class. If that's recording it, then so be it. They also usually have office hours and some are willing to go over essay outlines or anything like that. And I'm rambling now. -.-
Seriously, the only perk to any sort of school is that it gets you further along when you actually start working. Or at least working in the job you want. I'd join the Anime Club or Writers. Honestly, I just want to state this now 'lucky'. I don't think my college has half of those clubs. @.@
I'm surprised they don't have a Book Club either. o.o Like, that would be the first choice if I was joining one.
I have a lot of outside activities away from college, so I'm not even sure what sorts of clubs mine has. And I'm to committed to those other activities to think about looking...

So, I'm beginning to get pre college jitters. Other than my laptop not working properly, I'm beginning to feel sick to my stomach. I don't feel ready for college at all, and I'm not sure if I ever will be. I did speak to my guidance counselor about it while I was still in high school, and he said to do at least one semester of college, but when I told my family about it, it was clear that they didn't approve. It's almost like nothing I do pleases them, no matter how hard I try.

Aw, I'm sorry you are going through that Moth. Have you had your first class yet? Have you talked to any of your professors or the other students? You'll get through it and your guidance counselor is probably right. You can try it for one semester, since you are already in.
And I know you want to please your family. I'm sure that you have, and I hope that you still do. <3

College starts tomorrow, but my first class doesn't actually start until Saturday at 8:30 (which means I'll have to get up and 6:00 and be out at 7:00 since it's a one hour train ride). And I think even Spotify understands my pain because the song Reflection just came up.
