[I just had a thought that it might be quite interesting if at first the blame is placed on Ingrid and Kaitlyn for the spell since they're generally troublemakers and stuff? Maybe they'll realise that the disease is more complex than they thought and it's not something the girls could have come up with

[Yeah, I like Fireclaw's idea too, maybe we could have them all as possible suspects.
I was thinking that possibly after the duel has happened, the teachers are checking the student's wands to see if anyone has cast any curses and they see some duelling spells on the wands of Kaitlyn, Ryker and possibly Ingrid and they think it's sort of out of place and stuff. I don't know, just spitballing here]

((Interesting idea. I was just thinking, Kaitlyn's particularly adept at creating her own original spells. Though most of the school doesn't, a few select faculty could. That's why she could be suspect, because they know she experiments with spell creation a lot and maybe something went wrong. At least, their suspicion could last up until she's hit by it too.))
