Elysia's blush of embarrassment quickly turned another shade deeper. She was so used to being formal with others it was just a habit as of now. Elysia ran her hand over the silk fabric and smiled shyly, "I've got plenty more dresses at home. This one is a bit simpler then the others." It was then that Elysia noticed the color of the girl's eyes. This was a light elemental. Elysia hadn't really met other elemental's, this one seemed quite friendly.

"Just strolling, I'm a blacksmith for the castle and there wasn't much to do today." He informed her, Blake was just as cautious around elementals as a sane person was but he didn't fear them. Blake knew that they were dangerous but when it came down to it they were still just people with all of the flaws and imperfections that entailed as much as they tried to hide them. "Are you out here for the same reason milady?" Blake asked, he wasn't sure if she was actually a noblewoman or not but he thought he remembered hearing the name Godfrey in passing once and it didn't hurt to assume nobility.

Thea was sort of surprised that he was a blacksmith. His body type matched that of someone who worked with tools but it was his color that still threw her off. Ice Elementals don't typically like anything that has to do with heat, and forging weapons has everything to do with heat. She was distracted from that though when she heard him call her by something only Nobility were called. Thea shook her head, "I'm not nobility. My distant cousin is, but not I." She went back to his previous question though, not wanting to appear rude and ignore it. "I was sick of the canyons, so I came to town." Most Fire Elementals were close knit groups and the Godfrey Clan lived close to the canyons. This way, they can't set anything ablaze on accident.

Demeter was so startled by the sudden voice she flinched, pressing herself towards the tree she was leaning on. The tree shook slightly from this small action. Oh no. I'm using my strange power again... She quickly looked around to find the source of the voice, and her fear spiked at the realization that no one was there. "H-hello?", she called. "Please...show yourself!" If whoever made that voice ended up being dangerous, she didn't know what she would do. I've got my weird power, she thought. But it hurts to use it. And I can't control it. How will I defend myself?

"Guess we're two birds of a feather today then. Its kind of nice to get away from home for a little isn't it? Just wish it was safe to do at night." Blake said indicating the wreckage from the street brawl. He internally cursed at himself after doing so. She apparently wasn't the only one who had been relaxing a bit. He didn't know whether her clan or if she herself had been involved in the fight here or how touchy she might be about it even if she hadn't. The elemental fighting wasn't exactly a bloodless affair.

That's so lucky- I have a few dresses that I save for nicer occassions, but none are as pretty as this one~! Plus, you said it was a simpler dress of yours- which is so hard for me to comprehend!" Emily giggled, not seeming upset in the least. Frankly she just enjoyed getting to talk to someone else, and from what she could tell this girl was probably a Nature elemental, which were always her favorites of the other groups. There was just something different about Nature elementals. "What brings you out to the marketplace today, Elysia~? Come to get more dresses maybe?" She beamed, seeming content to simply continue talking to this girl, whether she wanted to or not.

Sebastian let another curse fall from his mouth as he took in the reaction of the tree the girl touched. A Nature Elemental? They had to be joking. He rolled his eyes. He'd been saving his energy, but now it appeared he needed to use it. Taking a short breath, shadows burst from the trees, snatching the girl roughly and binding her in place. Sebastian took the shadows off himself to save some energy, but the use of his powers was already pushing him. He moved in front of her, his dagger pressed threateningly against her neck. "Don't lift a finger or your dead. Now tell me who sent you?" Or, again, you'll be dead." He said, his purple eyes flashing with irritation.
Elysia smiled lightly at the girl’s chatty nature. Sadly, she hadn’t come to the market for dresses. But she didn’t want to disappoint the girl, she felt almost guilty that she actually wasn’t shopping for dresses. Well, Nata needed dresses anyway. “Um, actually….my younger sister, Nata needed a few new dresses so I came looking for some fabric. And shopping for groceries as well.” Elysia lied, not out of ill-will of course. She simply felt horrible if she disappointed such a pleasurable friend and she hated to lose such cheerful company. Nata really did need a new selection of dresses anyway.

Thea felt herself ball up her hands into fists and undoing them again a few times as she tried not to appear angered by his comment. It was something commoners wouldn't have understood and she shouldn't be angered by it as much as she was. Thea really needed to learn how to control her temper, some days she flares up at little things and other days it would only be a few sparks. But either way, she needed to be calm in public. "Why? What's more dangerous about it than the day?" She asked a bit of her anger showing in her tone. Small sparks began to come out of her hands as she unclenched her fists, and then disappeared when she balled them again.

Her basket dropped to the ground, and small wild onions spilled out. Demeter stayed still, completely frozen in fear. What is this? What has this man done? She struggled hard to speak. "I was just...n-no one s-sent me," she stuttered. "I was just...curious. Wh-who are you?"

Emily seemed to brighten at the others words, practically bouncing on the balls of her feet as she clasped her hands together in excitement. "Really?? Could I go with you maybe?? I would love to watch you pick out the fabrics and whatnot- If that's ok with you of course! I wouldn't want to just invite myself along- my parents say I tend to do that a lot~" She giggled in obvious mirth, seeming to be overflowing with energy that just needed to be used. She was certainly energetic, and it was clear that there were probably very few people who could keep up with the girl.

Sebastian looked at her suspiciously and lowered his dagger. But he didn't release the shadow bonds. Not yet. His gaze tore over her face. By the look of pure terror and confusion on her face, he'd take a guess that she was being honest. He wasn't interested in answering questions, she didn't need to know who he was. Sebastian huffed and put his blades back. "What's it to you?" He took the shadows away from her and sat down by his fire, figuring the girl wouldn't stick around. He wasn't exactly an interesting character in his opinion.
Elysia was pleased that her small fib brought such pleasure to someone. It was worth it and definitely didn't do any harm. She smiled softly, warming up to this bright woman faster then she did most. "Absolutely. I'll need an extra hand to, Nata has a very pale complexion, but very dark hair. Finding a fabric that will match is very tricky." Elysia said with a warm smile as she started toward the fabric shop. The shop was simple and elegant in Elysia's opinion, that's why she liked it so much. Stepping up to the oaken door and swung it open and moved inside, waiting for Emily to enter as well as her eyes scanned the walls of fabric.

Crap. Think fast! "I just mean- well uh- Ok I'm sorry if that was callous but I know its easier for fights to start at night. You can't see as well and its a matter of life or death who gets the first hit and all. Didn't mean to imply anything." Blake said lamely, it was a pretty shabby recovery but he was hoping it would be enough to placate her anger. Especially considering the sparks that were flashing. He was especially hoping that this wouldn't be the part where an ice or fire elemental rounded the corner and got the wrong idea.

She waited a moment, giving herself time for the terror to die down. She was still a little wary, but could see that harming her wasn't this man's purpose. It seemed to her that he was just trying to pass through. "I...I don't know you. R...recognize you from town anyways," she stuttered a bit. "And I've never really met people in this forest. I...didn't surprise you, did I?" Her face was earnest when she asked, though her round green eyes still widened with fear.

Thea seemed to calm down a little, instead of sparks it was more like a bit of smoke. She bit back a smart comment and decided to go another route. "Alright then. I can understand where your logic would come from." She nodded thoughtfully. Thea was actually quite proud of herself that she hasn't threatened to set his hair ablaze, hopefully he wouldn't give her reason to. "But going back to what you were talking about, why do you like to 'get away' and go in town?"

Sebastian's forced relaxation quickly fell as the girl asked more questions. Why was it that a curious person had to find him? Why couldn't it have been someone a lot easier to scare off. Sebastian pulled his rabbit from the leather and quickly cut off a strip of meat with his dagger, popping it in his mouth and chewing painstakingly slow before finally swallowing and answering. "Surprise me? No. No one surprises me. I happen to do the majority of the surprising." He said flatly as he began to saw off another piece of meat.

"Well, you certainly surprised me", Demeter chuckled nervously. She had many questions to ask him, but was afraid that he might lash out. Instead, she tried to help him. "Um...you seem to be surviving well on your own, but...I can offer you a place to stay, if you like..." She looked down at her feet, hoping this offer would appease him. She had a feeling he would object to it, but she just wanted to show that she wasn't a threat. If it weren't that obvious already.

"Its just different from what I'm usually doing. Sure it can be fun to spend a day working metal but it can get a bit monotonous sometimes." Blake explained, glad for the shift back to regular conversation. "What about you and the canyons? Just needed a change of scenery for a little?" He asked, he hoped he wasn't prying into elemental matters but it was polite to return questions.

"I just got tired of talking to people there, and decided new faces might be a better option. If I don't start a fight first." Thea smirked, implying her mistake about believing Blake was an Ice Elemental. She crossed her arms over her chest in a more relaxed way and started to put more weight on her right leg.

"Pretty sure town guard would appreciate the latter not happening." He replied with a smirk of his own. The amusement came as a welcome change of pace from where their conversation had seemed to be going.

{I'll think of something} "Well anyway Blake, now that we're on a better note, would you like to come walk with me through town? I enjoy talking with someone new." Thea thought the offer was more generous than what she would normally do, but it was true. She would like to speak with someone new. Talking with only those in her Clan may be good company, but it was the same company

"I'd be happy to." It was sort of strange to him that he actually meant it, especially considering he'd known her for only a few minutes. She'd been good company so far however and there was nowhere else he had to be. He also figured that if she was going to accidently burn him it would have happened by now, and the fact that it hadn't meant that she likely had a reasonable control over her abilities. All of which made it safe to go for a walk with her.

Thea was quite surprised Blake agreed. She would have assumed he would decline, due to the fact that she could set something ablaze at her will. Given that her powers drain energy anyway. "I was hoping we could eat somewhere as well. I don't know about you but I'm starving, I'd you're not I'll by something to eat while we walk."

"I'm good for grabbing a bite. Do you have anywhere specific in mind?" He asked. He hadn't actually eaten anything since breakfast so the idea of lunch was highly appealing to him. He also didn't know every food institution in town so he considered this a good chance to find another one.

Emily nodded along with the others words, listening more eagerly to her than she ever had to her lessons. "I'm sure if we work together we'll find the perfect fabric!" She grinned, actually skipping behind the other girl as her glee overwhelmed her. Thanking Elysiaas she moved through the door, she nearly gasped at all the colors and patterns that assaulted them upon their entry. "This place is amazing-!!"

"I know of a small place on the edge of town. The food's not bad, and it's fairly priced. Which would be helpful on my wallet." Thea doesn't earn the money she has, her father did. He worked, but she didn't really know where. Not that it mattered, as long as everyone was taken care of, she wasn't very concerned. Thea really couldn't get a job, she was too busy playing with her powers to really even think about a job. "So does your father look like an Ice Elemental too, or...?" Thea wasn't for sure on how to continue her question so she sort of trailed off at the end.

Sebastian, for the first time since he sat down, looked over his shoulder at her. He was shocked, that was stated clearly on his face. But Sebastian recovered quickly and simply stared harshly at her. Going with her could cause many problems. He could easily be found. Then again the guards and knights wouldn't come looking for him in a Nature elements house. Sebastian hid a small smirk, it appeared staying with her would be benefital for himself. That was the only reason Sebastian even considered accepting. "Where do you live?" He asked shortly.
Elysia looked at Emily and smiled, "It is rather beautiful isn't it?" She said lightly, moving toward some of the darker fabrics. "Would dark look nice? It would go with her dark hair, but would it make her look even more pale?" Elysia asked thoughtfully, reaching up and runing her fingers over a midnight blue fabric.

Demeter looked at him in surprise. She didn't expect him to accept that offer. She gulped, then said, "Ah...very close to the edge of this forest. It's a small cabin, distant from town..." She then looked up at his face. "I grow a garden there, so there's food. And shelter. I think it could help you. Especially since you seem to want to avoid the townspeople." Her heart beat fast. She really hoped she didn't make a mistake, or say the wrong thing.

"Sounds good to me!" He agreed, Blake made a decent wage but he wasn't rolling in money so cheap but good food appealed to him. "Nah, he's a lot more heavyset than I am and he's got green eyes and black hair. My mother says that looking like this skips a generation in her family. So that's how I wound up like this" Blake's mother had blonde hair but it was more on the dirty blonde side of the spectrum, and her eyes were a different shade of blue than the typical ice elementals. Blake had wondered about that as well before they had explained the situation to him. He never bothered to learn enough about elementals biology to see why that could be considered strange.

"I suppose that makes sense. It's quite the opposite in my family. Most of my family looks the same. Then again, so do most Fire Elementals." She smiled at her joke towards her own race. Elementals were all unique yes, but your typical Fire Elemental was on the shorter side, had dark hair, and red eyes. So there wasn't a whole lot of variety in them. "And that would go for the other races as well wouldn't it?"

"For the most part. I have to admit its sometimes hard to tell a water elemental at a glance. Though you usually find out quick when the bucket of water splashes down on your head." Blake admitted smiling along with her. Normally elemental humor was best left for the privacy of the home where an errant word wouldn't get you into trouble but he felt pretty safe about it at the moment.
