(Hi everybody!! I'm trying to make it on more often, to days in a row yay me!! I'll try to be on in the evenings more since thats most of the roleplay time for everyone else. But since that is the time when I'm generally busy with friends/family/ and other, I don't know if I'll be very active at that time. But I'll post starters for my charries so you guys have something to reply to if you'd like.)
Sebastian crouched in front of the small fire he'd built for himself. The sun's glare was shining rather harshly through the thick wooded area, making the air hot and sticky. Even so, you can't eat raw rabbit meat. Not without some problems later anyways. Quickly pulling out one dagger, he sharpened a thick stick. Sebastian then turned to the freshly skinned rabbit and roughly sliced off a large peice of meat. Then stabbing the stick through the meat, he lowered it above the flames and slowly turned it, listening to the sizzle of the juices that dripped into the flames. Sebastian cast a quick glance over his shoulder. He'd been traveling for 12 days straight, a small knapsack was the only thing he took with him. He had some buisness to take care of in the village just outside this wood, but he was always cautious. If he was caught something could go horribly wrong and he just didn't want to deal with anything like that at the moment.
Elysia quickly slipped into the soft silk dress, it was simple, but elegant. A light, tulip yellow with soft pink roses curling up the bodice. Elysia pulled her messy hair into a neat braid and tied a matching ribbon around the end. After quickly stepping into her shoes, she made her way down the large staircase of the house. Her father, already gone, had left his morning mess on the table. Elysia frowned and quickly cleaned it up. She'd have to wake Nata up soon, but first, a trip to the marketplace. Her father had mentioned last night that they needed fresh eggs and cheese and Elysia was going to get it for him. She moved to a small hidden jar on the oaken shelves. It was full of sand. Pulling the lid off, she dug inside and her hand emerged with a bag. Elysia quickly opened the cloth sack and snatched out a few gold coins before closing it and hiding it underneath the sand in the jar. Elysia turned on her heel and grabbed a small basket on her way out the door. "I'll be back momentarily." She said softly to a passing maid before exiting the house and making her way down the cobblestone road to the marketplace.

Name: Demeter Vidale [pronounced Vee-Dahl-Uh] Gender: Female Age: 18 Elemental: Nature Physical Description: Demeter has a slightly smaller frame than most Nature elementals, with golden brown skin (kind of polynesian looking), and black wavy hair. Naturally, she has almond shaped green eyes. She normally wears gardening clothes, which includes a dark pair of overalls, but no shoes, because she normally likes to go barefoot. If she does need shoes however, there is a pair of small sandals in a pouch on her gardening belt. When gardening, she likes to keep her hair loosely tied back, but otherwise just lets it stay free. On colder days, she’ll wear a green hooded cloak to keep warm. Personality: Demeter is a very kind and gentle person, but when the goings get rough, she may be too soft-hearted to handle it. She is very quick to become attached to people, which may make her fall in love a little too easily. Despite this fact, she is not an outgoing person. She generally stays pretty calm, which can be a bad thing in tough situations. Being a sensitive woman, if someone insults her, she will most likely take it to heart. History: Her mother, Teja Vidale, was also a Nature elemental, but died of unknown circumstances (Which I’ll come up with later) when Demeter was a little girl. Without a father or anyone else to teach her, Demeter never learned to utilize or control her powers properly. She will need a lot of lessons to be an experienced Nature elemental. Growing up on her own and poor, Demeter lives in her own small wooden cabin at the edge of a forest, and as her favorite hobby, keeps up a garden of her own. Not really knowing how to use her powers, she mostly just tends to the garden using normal gardening tools. Family: Teja Vidale (mother, deceased) Screen name: SilverRose

Awesome ^.^ I guess I could start rping in the forest that Sebastian is in?)
Demeter picked carefully through the brambles and bushes, green cloak clasped around her shoulders, hood up over her head. She cradled a weaved basket in her left arm. Walking through the woods, she scanned the forest floor, looking for something. Every now and then she would look up to the tree tops that acted like a roof over the woods, and search for birds in the branches. Today, the birds were eerily silent.

(Got it, I'll write up a starter.)
Blake walked the streets of the town enjoying the cool air on his skin after a morning of working in the forge. There hadn't been much to do today so his father had decided to give him the afternoon off so that he could run some errands for his mother. Those hadn't taken long and now Blake was just wandering around town with not much to do.

If there was one thing Elementals (mostly Fire Elementals) and Commoners can't agree on, it was the town. There were basically districts for each of the Elemental races and then the commoners. If it was up to Thea, she would keep each race in separate towns. She would hate to get mixed up with those lowly Ice Elementals or Water Elementals. As for the others, she would just prefer to not be around them. She was raised in a household where it was strictly Fire Elementals. Every single last person. And she would prefer to keep it that way. The other Elementals only bring drama and the commoners were both getting caught and in the way of it all. Especially due to recent events. There have been many skirmishes between Clans and other small groups out in the open streets, and commoners were being hurt by it. That was why they just needed to leave, yet, the king does nothing except sit on his rear and watch his kingdom crumble. Of course, Thea never said such things aloud. It was a crime to disgrace the king's name. Or any royal for that matter.
That was really all Thea could think about as she surveyed the street she walked upon. There had been a fight here recently, and she could only focus on the destruction it left. The shopkeepers were still cleaning things up and it's been nearly four days since the fight broke out. However, it was her own thoughts that caused her to run into someone. She couldn't tell who it was at first she had shut her eyes when she felt the impact of a body but when she opened them she had stumbled back a few steps. Thea had to look up to identify the man, and when she did, she narrowed her eyes. An Ice Elemental was who he must have been. Only they have such pale skin and hair. Thea was tensed and ready for a fight herself, but she wasn't going to start it, and held her tongue from delivering a nasty comment.

Blake admittedly should have been paying more attention to where he was walking but he'd been paying too much attention to the clean up effort going on, weighing whether or not he should offer to lend a hand. He normally wouldn't have hesitated but he knew what he looked like wasn't sure which sides had taken part in this particular skirmish. It was while he was thinking about that when a girl crashed into him. The eyes immediately gave away her likely affiliation but considering his own appearance he wasn't about to make any assumptions. "Sorry about that, I wasn't watching where I was going." He apologized.

Thea started standing up a little straighter instead of standing like she was ready for a fight. Which, she may have been, but when he apologized it made her raise and eyebrow. What Ice Elemental acted civilly towards one of their enemies? He was just playing a mind game, so just before he strikes she would be completely unprepared. "What are you apologizing to me for?" There was a hint of bitterness in her tone but she kept what extra rudeness she would have liked to use back. "I didn't think Ice Elementals were so clumsy." She added, trying to keep herself from Clenching her jaw.

Emily Miller : Female : 17 : Light : Emily, like most light elementals, was blessed with a more petite form that she tends to curse on a normal basis. Standing at only 5'2, she finds herself standing on her tiptoes to reach a lot of things, and she hates it a lot. Her hair is a pretty caramel blonde color, and her tanned skin suggests that she spends a lot of her time outside. Her eyes are the typical golden shade that all light's possess, meaning there is no question as to who, and what, she is. : Practically a bundle of energy, it's very rare that this girl can't find something to talk about. She's usually pretty cheery, and is often very bad at reading body language and social cues. All she wants to do is make friends, and frankly she's not too keen on the war that's currently going on. If she could, she'd just hide out with all of her friends and completely avoid it. Unfortunatley, she can't just leave everyone to fend for themselves, and therefore ignores her better judgement so that she can stay with those she loves. : She had a relatively normal life, aside from the fact that she would avoid her responsibilities on a normal basis, and therefore is pretty behind on her light magic knowledge. Her parents are both currently still alive, and still atempt to get her caught up on her schooling, but it's proving to be quite the challenge. : » ѕυѕнι

"Well its normally polite to apologize when you run into someone. And I guess that ice elementals can be as clumsy as anyone. You'd probably have to ask one if you wanted that questioned answered." Blake said nonchalantly. With tensions heating up the way they were there was nothing to be gained from trying to rile her up by pretending to be an ice, especially considering she looked around his age. Fire Elemental+young+anger= Burned Blake after all.

{That math appears to be accurate} Thea was utterly confused. By the way he worded things, it sounded like he just said he wasn't an Ice Elemental. "So you're not an Ice Elemental?" She asked, her brows knit together as she tried to come up with her own answer to all of this.

"Common misconception, my old man tells me I get the looks from my mothers side." Blake explained, his parents were the type who conveniently left out the whole 'you're adopted' thing. His adopted parents had figured out who his family was and had realized why he'd been left out to die. They'd figured its not good for a child's development to hear that he'd been tossed out like trash because he couldn't make icicles so they had told him that his great great grandmother had been one to explain his appearance.

(Oh yay more people!! ^.^ I've got Elysia open for anyone who needs someone to roleplay with. She's in town.)
Sebastian tried to quiet his stomach as it growled. Growing impatient as the thick, sweet smell of cooked rabbit lifted back his nose. He continued to turn the meat, but it seemed to be almost done cooking. Sebastian pulled the stick out of the flames and pulled a small piece of leather out of his knapsack. After laying the rabbit on the leather, he pulled the stick out and tossed it aside. It was then that he heard movement. It wasn't exactly close enough for him to be seen, but he was positive he could be heard. Or even smelt, due to his freshly cooked meal. He was told no one came in this forest. Sebastian frowned sharply, he moved cautiously to his feet and covered himself with shadows as he moved stealthily under the trees toward the sound, his hand placed on his daggers as a precaution.

The woman stopped in her tracks, looking up around her. She then realized she could smell something cooking. It smelled delicious. Maybe someone is making their home in this forest. she thought. It made her uneasy though, especially since she noticed the birds weren't singing their usual songs that day. Maybe I could just take a peak, and run if there's any danger. Maybe there's someone who needs help. With those thoughts in mind, she moved forward, trying to find the source of the smell, walking as silently as she could manage.

Sebastian continued toward the sound. But he stopped when the sound disappeared. Muttering a rather rough curse under his breath he turned back. They must've smelt his rabbit. Which means they either rano r they came to investigate. He suspected the latter of the two. As running would've made much more noise then was being made now. Sebastian continued to use the shadows to hide himself as he made his way back to his camp, he crouched over a little bit to save some energy and hide himself more. The silence was unnerving and he pulled his daggers from his belt, twirling the blades in his fingers as his purple gaze pierced through the woods around him. Searching for any signs of movememt or a figure out of place.

{ I hope you don't mind that I decided to reply to your Elysia starter, Dime! ^.^ }
Emily had snuck out of her home earlier that morning before her parents had awoken that morning, and spent a majority of the time away simply taking a walk through the surrounding forest, a small little light in her hand to help light the way. After gettting bored of that, she decided to make her way towards the marketplace to see what they might be selling for the day. Not that she would really be buying anything, but it was fun to look. Dusting off the plain brown dress she wore whenever she was 'exploring', she made her way to the first stall she saw to peer at the wares. That was until she spotted probably the prettiest dress she'd seen in a long time. Not even taking a moment to think, Emily shot towards the other girl with wide eyes, practically gushing when she finally stopped in front of her. "I hope you don't find me rude or anything but I just couldn't stand by after seeing such a pretty dress- I've never seen anything like it! Oh right- manners- my name is Emily by the way, it's lovely to meet you!" She rambled, seeming to need to take a second to breathe after her barrage.

She stumbled through the forest until she came across what was left of a fire. So someone was cooking here! she thought excitedly. But where are they now? Fear began to creep into her chest, and her heart started to beat faster. Placing her hand on a nearby tree for support, she peeked around it to see if anyone was nearby. What if they're not friendly?

Thea looked him up and down, but more in a way as if she was studying instead of in a rude gesture. "Very common I assume." She knew the answer to that, and didn't need to ask that sort of question. She bet if he wanted, this man could pretend he was an Ice Elemental. They were so naive, in her opinion, that they wouldn't even notice the lack of powers. Thea began to relax a little, but Thea being Thea, was too proud to act as if her mistake was the most horrible things in the world and apologize over and over again. One apology would do. "I apologize for the misconception. I hope you see why I would think what I did." She kept her tone level, seeing as she could be civil now. He was merely a Commoner after all, and by no means a real threat to someone who could literally play with fire. Not in this situation anyway. In a street duel where Thea could see his next move it wouldn't help him.

Blake could see her relax now that she knew she didn't have a possible fight on her hands. He was tempted to try lunging at her to spook her but the previous mathematical equation was still sound. "Don't worry about it, even some of the real ones have made the same mistake." Blake informed her with a shrug. "I do appreciate you not roasting me on the spot. I know how things have been recently." He said, honestly it was a sign of the times that he actually did appreciate that fact. Not all fire elementals would have paused to ask questions before letting loose on him.

Thea shrugged, not finding her bit of 'kindness' very intresting or anything to be thankful for. "Your welcome I suppose." Fire Elementals were typically on the prideful side of things and may have been a bit humbled by the use of this man's manners, but she couldn't care much either way. It was just a mistake. Not that she would ever admit it was more than that. "What's your name anyway?" She inquired. He intruiged her a smidge, mainly because he wasn't an Ice Elemental but certainly looked the part. Thea couldn't pass herself off as a commoner, her eyes would give her away.

"My names Blake, yours?" He asked in kind. This was turning out to be an interesting meeting, he wasn't used to not just being immediately dismissed after explaining away his looks. Elementals didn't seem to care about commoners that much in his experience though one light elemental had tried to get him to consider spying for them before Blake's father had almost physically thrown her out of the forge for even suggesting it.

"Thea. Thea Godfrey." She introduced herself. Normally Thea would have walked straight passed commoners, and most would get out of her way, so this was new most definitely. Normally commoners would avoid Elementals completely, fearing for their safety, which Thea didn't mind. People were scared of what they could not understand. Also because Elementals outnumber commoners by a long shot, there wasn't a balanced ratio in any way. "What are you doing in town? Do you work here or just strolling?"

(I don't mind at all Sushi! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/6575102/images/lNtnPuxeCzkaKMNYVXVv.gif) ) Elysia twisted her fingers around her basket to avoid losing it as she stepped around people. As the girl suddenly appraoched her, Elysia stopped suddenly and her eyes widened a bit in surprise. She'd always enjoyed dressing sharply, but she'd never been approached about it. Much less with so much enthusiasm. Her lips turned upward in a shy smile and her cheeks quickly turned a light shade of crimson. "I'm Elysia, Elysia Loxy. It's a pleasure to meet your aquiantance." She said softly, dipping her head and givig a small curtsey. "You-you like dresses I assume?" Elysia asked gently. Sebastian peered around a tree, immediatly spotting the female poking about his camp. Cursed rabbit and it's delicious smell. He used the shadows to hide himself as he moved closer. She didn't seem dangerous, but most of the deadly peple seemed that way. Keeping himself hidden in the shadows he spoke ratherly roughly to the woman. "What are you doing here?" Sebastian said first, rather sharply. His gaze raking over the female, waiting quite impaiently for his answer.

{ Thank you~!}
Emily grinned as the other spoke, glad to see that she was more than happy to continue talking with her. "Nice to meet you, Elysia~!" She practically beamed, golden eyes glinting with excitement. "My name's Emily! And I love dresses~! Or anything pretty really-" She rambled, blinking at the curtsy before allowing a small giggle. "Oh you don't have to be so fancy, dear- we're both friends here~"
