Breezefoot headed back into camp along with the rest of the patrol. He supposed he should be the one to report even tho Dashclaw led it. He headed over to Swiftstar, hesitating a moment when he saw the tom talking to his mate.

Fallowmeadow turned, looking at Breezefoot with surprise "Oh! The moor runner's patrol is back." she mewed with a purr. "Was the territory okay then?" she asked with a tilt of her head.

Dashclaw returned to the camp and headed for a cave to sit by himself.

Breezefoot dipped his head lightly. “It was.. ok.” He spoke. “Most of it is burned, I suppose the fire had no trouble spreading on the grass. The camp is burned as well but luckily we have very few dens.”

Swiftstar flicked his ear thoughtful. "The camp is burned, but is it safe?" He turned his gaze to Breezefoot. "If so we could start moving home."

Harewhisker spotted the patrol returning and frowned lightly seeing that Dashclaw was sulking off by himself instead of reporting to Swiftstar. He sighed. Eventually, his brother would come around, but Dashclaw was so stubborn, it might take a while. Maybe being a moor-runner again would help him get back to his old self. Harewhisker flicked his tail. Before Rabbitdash died, Dashclaw was arrogant, full of himself, and confident, but afterwards and down in the tunnels, Dashclaw didn't know up from down. Maybe I should go talk to him? A bit of bitterness tightened in Harewhisker's chest at that thought. He still didn't want to deal with his brother.

“I believe so.” Breezefoot nodded. “There was no fire we could find.” He spoke. “So we should be safe to return.”

Allowing her mentors words to lift her spirits, Ploverpaw giddily bounced for a moment on her paws. Battle practice was her favorite part of being a warrior apprentice. The strategy and finesse needed was enamoring, and she always felt invigorated afterwards. “Well, can we get this rabbit back to the high stones camp and go right away?” She asked, working to keep her voice poised despite still finding it impossible to sit still.

Swiftstar broke into a soft purr. "Thank you for letting me know Breezefoot, that is incredible news." He rose to his paws, making sure not to bring on another coughing attack. "I'll address the clan and let them know."

Fallowmeadow purred, pressing against Swiftstar before moving to give the leader room. She padded away, ready to join the clan meeting when he called it.

Swiftstar padded over to the ledge he had addressed the clan on before, and glanced up at it uncertainly. Now that it seemed the cough the leader had wouldn't just go away, he was filled with doubt. If he jumped up there and had a coughing fit that would look terrible, but he couldn't address the clan from down here either. He took a deep breath and held it for a moment. The tightness in his chest didn't seem too terribly bad...maybe he could make it. Pressing his ears tightly to his head he braced himself and leaped up. He landed, and closed his eyes, taking in another breath. His chest was tighter now, but not as bad as he had expected. Turning, he addressed the clan.
"Let all those old enough to hunt gather beneath me for a clan meeting!"

Fallowmeadow settled beside Wolfstep, motioning for Fawnspots to join them.
Sagefoot hushed Larkkit and Juniperkit, corralling the kits to the back of the crowd. The queen looked at the leader hopefully.
Goldheart padded to the other side of the crowd, avoiding his siblings.
Sandfall and Jasmineheart joined the crowd.

Birchstep settles down next to Alderfur to look up at the leader.
Breezefoot moved over to settle down as well.
Heathersky and Fernheart looked up from the nursery area to see Swiftstar call the meeting.

Crowfrost joined the clan meeting, sighing as he sat down.
Frostblossom, Ashsong, and Whispersong also joined the clan.

Swiftstar waited for the clan to gather before continuing. "Cats of WindClan! Our patrols have returned and deemed the territory safe! We can go home!" He paused to clear his throat before continuing. "There will be much work to do when we return to camp. Breezefoot has informed me that the fire burned most of the camp, but that the camp is easily habitable. We don't have very many dens, thank StarClan, so most of our work will be in restocking the prey heap, rebuilding the border wall, and rebuilding the nursery and medicine cat's den." Glancing at the clan he realized he was getting ahead of himself, there wasn't much they could do from here.
"WindClan! Let's go home!"

Cinderscar glanced at Soulspirit for a moment. He had noticed how she seemed to be looking a bit off, compared to how she usually looked. He swallowed, wanting to ask her after the meeting.
Blacktail padded towards his leader, though he gave a small breath of discomfort. As much as he wanted to believe that he was perfectly fine, he had begun to realize that his age was starting to catch up to him. His legs were not as steady as they used to be, and he knew that the only thing hiding the grey around his muzzle was his white fur. Even so, he couldn't just state such things aloud...not at this moment, not when the clan needed him. He looked up at his leader.

Sagefoot picked up Juniperkit.
Sandfall hurried over to help his sister with Larkkit in Stonepath's absence.

"Thank Starclan!" Tinyflower exclaimed, more than impatient to get out of the strange camp. She nudged her brother along sharply, and Siltpath cuffed her ear before he puffed. "I'm going, I'm going! Can you wait for mother to catch up? Jeez!"
"Don't wait on my part." Mottledsong chuckled, padding towards her kits with relief and weariness in her eyes. "Behave, when we get back...they'll need all of us to help rebuild, and I don't want to see you two quarrel."
Thorndash quietly nodded, relieved to return home, but still pained that he was returning without Nettlefrost.
Meadowbrook stood to her paws, padding towards Brownleaf and Spottedclaw's side. The mottled she-cat flicked her ear in approval. Now they could return home, even if the tunnels she had worked on were probably damaged. The thought was aggravating, but it was not much of a set back. She felt a twinge of roiling in her belly, as she had felt the last day or so, and ignored it.

Breezefoot purred softly at the thought of going home. A thorn pierced his heart at not being able to go home with his mate. He wanted to find her body and bury her properly.

"I am as well...even if it's burnt to a crisp, it's better than not coming back at all." Cinderscar nodded in agreement to his mate. The grey tom hesitated for a moment as he walked with her, before he blurted out. "Are you alright? You seem a little off, I dunno...Are you getting sick?" He asked, a twinge of worry in his voice.

Swiftstar bounded down from the ledge, pleased that his chest didn't hurt. He bounded over to the entrance of their makeshift camp and began to pad towards the WindClan territory once most of the clan had assembled.
Silverspirit followed after Swiftstar. She had gathered most of Eclipsesky's herbs since he was still gone. Rolling them into bundles, her mind slipped once again to the medicine cat.
Dustfire scooped up Breezekit, excited to be going home, but nervous. He had gotten used to the clan's layout the way it was. It would be hard for him to re-learn the way things were.

Soulspirit looked at him in surprise, thinking he hadn’t noticed, “Oh, I’m not sure.” She said, looking down, this certainly wasn’t the time to get sick, “I.. I guess my stomach has been feeling a bit off the past couple days. I was going to go see Eclipsesky or Dawnshadow, but then the fire happened.

"Well, you should go see them anyway. What if you inhaled smoke or something and it made you sick?" Cinderscar fretted, nosing at Soulspirit's side with concern. He swallowed. "I'll pull them over myself if I have to, you're just as important as anyone else when it comes to getting checked by the medicine cats."
