Anime/Manga: Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV (wasn't sure if game characters were ok, so I just listed the anime prequel to the game)
Description: Noctis is thin, with lean muscle. His hair is black and spiked, with his bangs falling over his blue eyes. He is fair-skinned, and has a very monochrome wardrobe. He wears a solid black short-sleeved jacket over a black t-shirt. His pants are black and cutoff just below the knee, and he wears black boots. He has a black fingerless glove on his left hand, and the jacket has a very faint skull pattern on the back and is always left open.
Personality: Noctis tends to keep most of his emotions inside, though with his close friends he is a little more open and takes to teasing them from time to time. He has this "sense of ennui", shown by him dozing off all the time and other little things. Though he is royalty, the only way one could really tell is in how he carries himself. He tends to treat friends and the like equally.
Power: He can summon his weapons from thin air, usually switching between four main ones, and can wield the weapons of the past kings of his country in a flurry at once. He can also craft some elemental spells.
Age: 20
Other: Noctis has a soft spot for animals, but hates bugs and vegetables. Fishing is his favorite pastime.

Description: Prompto is shorter than Noctis by a few inches, and is more lean as well. He has blue eyes and light freckles. His hair is short and blond, being the longest in the front. His bangs are spiked off to the side, with a few strands sticking up. He wears a black denim vest with dark red flannel attached underneath over a black and grey tank top. The vest also has a very faint skull on the back. He wears black jeans with a faint leopard print and black combat boots, along with several thin belts around his waist and a pair of fingerless gloves.
Personality: Prompto has a playful personality, always light-hearted and trying to cheer people up. He likes it best when everyone is happy and is always moving, often overreacting or exaggerating things. Underneath all of this lies a young man who is deeper than he appears, with hidden fears and complexes he is battling to overcome. He is also claustrophobic and acrophobic, and is very good with technology. He's a bit of a scaredy-cat, but tries to stay positive anyway.
Power: Noctis has shared his ability with Prompto, allowing him to summon two weapons (in his case guns) and some spells.

Other: Prompto has been friends with Noctis for many years, and they are pretty close. He loves animals and taking pictures, and dislikes bugs.

(Really sorry for the poof everyone. (Refer to latest statues). Uh... >.< ) Hime and broken: Kid raised a hesitant hand. "I'm okay with long distance/non-lethal, but unless that thing can be killed by a bunch of playing cards, I think running would be a good idea." He was already ready to run, his legs bent so he could start at full speed almost at once. "And unless anyone has a crossbow or a real gun, I wont be much use." -- broken: Conan didn't like the stillness, but was satisfied that nothing was hiding in the shadows. He stepped through the market door and looked at a few of the fallen shelves. Nothing looked missing, so it probably hadn't been raided. Which made Conan wonder if any animals were in this city at all. "Hey!" he called softly. "Mikaela? Which row are you on?" (Broken and Clover: Last I remember, Monarch was just coming out of the alley and Ciel was getting ready to draw his pistol. And I'm wondering if flamerune is still come back. Are you still around, Flame?) |

Kuragehime, Mint "I-I uh... Blank could probably win if this were a video game, but I agree with running...it's probably best, huh?" Sora agreed, chuckling nervously as he backed up. Shiro looked back at them, shaking her head. "The creature wants us to run. Does no one from this group watch horror movies?" The little girl looked back, studying the creature. "I don't know how to fight, but we can distract it while Hozuki fights." -- mintedstar/furMikaela was in what used to be a canned good aisle when he heard the voice. He looked around, though he really couldn't figure out which direction Conan's voice came from. He continued walking through to the end of the aisle, then stopped. "I'm over here and I've found a few things," the vampire said, looking through the bag at the items he had collected. "And it should be enough until we are able to come back tomorrow."

"Then, I'll take care of this," Hozuki said. He took a few steps forward before stopping and winding up almost like a baseball pitcher. With a swift movement of his arm he threw the spiked metal club, aimed directly for the monster's head. His feet followed the club soon after, running straight for it should the club get knocked away.

(Here!  ) Hime and broken Kid smiled, drawing his gun. "Oh," he said. "I can do distraction." The flares were still loaded into the gun. He just had aim. At least finding the mouth on that thing isn't to hard, he thought. As Hozuki ran for it, Kid shot of a flare. It streaked for the Horsemen, hot and bright. It really didn't matter where it hit, because firing in itself was a distraction. 24 flares left, thought Katio. Then he pointed the gun into the air and fired another. He had said that if he was ever in trouble that he would fire off a flare for Conan and Mika to find him. And in this darkness, he thought it was a good chance they would see it. -- broken Conan nodded at Mika. "Thanks," he said. He came over and looked into the vampires bag as well. It seemed that what he had found was passably eatable. "We should head back to the bookstore now," said Conan, turning and walking back to the door. He looked out just in time, through the shattered window, to see Kid's flare. "Uh," he said, eyes wide. "What mess has that thief gotten himself into already?" |

(hi guys! also Mint, you probably should xD) Kuragehime , Mint Shiro just stood back and observed the creature, focusing on its movements that way she could see if they were able to be predicted or not whenever it attacked. On the other hand, Sora actually picked up a few items on the ground- rocks, stones, and whatever else he could find- and he tossed them away from the group and toward the trees, hoping to get it's attention off of them for a moment so Hozuki could do some damage. -- mintedstar/fur Mikaela closed the bag again and followed Conan out of the store. He sighed, seeing the flare himself. "Ah and I was hoping this would be an easy job...obviously not..." he grumbled as he looked in the direction the flare had come from. "And he's obviously not in town anymore. Huh, come on." He headed off in that direction. |

The club made impact, but only on the creature's arm as it blocked the heavy weapon. Hozuki frowned and clicked his tongue as he raced forward to catch it. Skidding to a stop, he gave a thankful nod to the others for their help in distracting the thing before giving it a hard stare. He raced forward, sparks flying as the metal club scraped over the ground, and once he was close he jumped up to strike the creature on the head.
Meanwhile, Shiro raced up after Hozuki and snapped his jaws shut on one leg of the monster... only to get thrown away quite easily.
Elsewhere:
Prompto Argentum opened his eyes to find himself leaning against a dead tree and faced with a dark forest. Glancing to his side he was slightly relieved to find he was still in the company of his best friend, who was still asleep against the same tree. "Oi, Noct! Noct, wake up! Something really weird happened!" He called out, gently shaking his friend's shoulder.
Noctis's eyes slowly fluttered open and he stretched. "Cut it out Prompto, I'm trying to sleep," he grumbled before shutting his eyes once more.
"But Noct! I really don't think we're in Lucis anymore - we're not even in the hotel room anymore!"
"Huh?" Noctis opened his eyes and looked around. "Oh, you're right." At that moment, the two of them saw a red flare fly up into the sky as they stood to move away from the tree. "Maybe that's Ignis and Gladio, let's head over," Noctis suggested. After Prompto sounded his approval, the two started walking to find the source of the flare.

(I've already got an idea. But it makes Kid and Conan sound like people in a video game. XD
For Kid I have: Hang-glider damage counter/34 small rips before unusable. 4 small rips = one large rip. 7 large rips before unusable (if placed over a wide area). Able to repair up to 3 large rips of damage if a needle and thread is found.)

Kid frowned, not knowing if he should fire off another flare. With any luck, Mika and Conan were coming. That would hopefully mean that they could fight this thing. Both had weapons that could do more damage then a couple of flares.
Instead, he decided that using himself as a distraction was better. He raised to the nearest tree, hoping Shiro and the others could provide enough distraction as he climbed.
When he got to a higher limb he was just in time to see Shiro the dog get shaken of by the Horseman. He cursed, hoping the talking dog was alright.
He unfurled the hang-glider and launched himself from the tree. He turned, flying around the Horseman.
"Hey," he screamed at it. "Look at me!"

Conan broke into a run. "I doubt he'd fire one off unless it was very serious. He probably found another group."
The detective really wished he had his solar powered skateboard. It would have saved time. He could tell that Mika could move a lot faster if Conan wasn't holding him back.
Conan growled in frustration. He didn't like Kid. He didn't like anyone who broke the law.
And yet... and yet, he was the only familiar face in this world. The only lifeline. And Conan would rather die then admit it, but he was glad that Kid was here. Apart from Heiji Hattori, he was the most capable. The most likely to survive.
"Mikaela," he said carefully. "Please go on ahead without me. I can't run as fast as you, and Kid - I mean the people with Kid - probably need all the help they can get. I'll catch up."

(Oh my it does sound like,a video game now but all right xD) Hime, Mint Sora continued to provide the distraction, well whatever he could do with just sticks and rocks. He continued throwing them, running back and forth. Shiro noticed the dog was thrown off and frowned, heading over to his side. "Shiro?" She whispered, then looked back at the creature. "Its moves are unpredictable, especially with so much going on, but if anyone has noticed it is accurate with its abilities. It could probably easily kill us if it wants." -- mintedstar/furMikaela continued to follow after Conan, nodding. "Yeah, plus we did tell him to shoot off a flare if he needed help," he said with a sigh, nodding at the suggestion. "I'll do that, but you better not get lost on your way there." With that, he ran ahead of Conan as he made his way to where the flare had been seen. Soon, he found himself in the forest and if he listened closely, he could definitely hear fighting. |

Unconnected, do to Mika leaving. Should catch up later.
Conan slowed down a little, his breathe coming in gasps. He was glad that Mika had done what he had asked.
He didn't need to worry about getting lost. But he still tried to hurry. He hoped that Mika would reach Kid in time to help...

Kid saw Mika before anyone else. But he was in really no position to do anything. He changed directions hurriedly, not wanting to become to predictable.
He tried to find something on him that could help, but nothing could really help. He just hoped that the Horseman wouldn't kill anyone before Mika or Hozuki could kill it.

Soon enough, Mikaela was able to see the creature the group was fighting. Then, he noticed they really weren't doing much damage, well at least Hozuki was was fighting.
He unsheathed his sword, standing back a few feet. How was it possible a Horseman was here? "My sword," he simply said, thorns appearing out of the hilt of the sword and wrapping around his hand before he took off toward the creature. The vampire aimed for the multiple legs of the creature, soon bringing it to the ground. He looked around for Hozuki- now the two of them could finish it off more easily.

Kid whistled, impressed by Mika's ability. He started to spiral down, confident that it was uses now to be in the air.
"Nice going," he called out to Mika. "Though you took your time about coming."
He landed in a tree, letting his hang-glider fold up under his cape. He knew that the Horseman was still alive, so he wasn't so reckless to put away his card gun.

Broken, Mint:
Hozuki glanced to the vampire and gave a quick nod, signaling he was ready to attack once more. He gave the arm holding the club a swing, also signaling he wasn't about to hold back at all on this final strike.
Shiro looked up at the young girl with a bright canine smile. "I'm ok!!" he barked before giving his pelt a good shake. The side that he fell on was dark with dust and crossed with a few scratches, but none were very deep.
Still Elsewhere, but Getting Closer to ^
Noctis and Prompto were running at full speed between trees and over rocks, only slowing every now and then to catch their breath. At one point, Prompto stopped and held his arm against a tree. "Hey Noct, why don't you try calling the chocobo? I'm done with running!" he whined.
Noctis nodded and reached into his pocket for the whistle. After a deep breath he blew into the whistle and waited until the high-pitched sound finished echoing through the area. When neither of their large feathered friends showed up he looked to Prompto with mild concern. "Looks like we're running," he said, though his face had even less enthusiasm than Prompto's.
"Wait... if they didn't come, then does this mean... we're not even in Lucis anymore???" Prompto wailed. His friend's only answer was a shrug before the two of them resumed their race to where they had seen the flare.

Kuragehime, mintedstar/furMikaela turned away from the monster. Now that it was injured, the Horseman was unable to do as much damage as it had been able to do earlier. "Shut up, human. We were on the other side of town when you fired the flare," he stated harshly, turning away from him and continued to help Hozuki fight. It took a few moments, but they both soon finished off the creature. Shiro looked at the dog with a faint grin coming onto her face. "Good. Herbs will be helpful so it doesn't get infected, but one problem: I don't know anything about them," she young girl admitted, getting back to her feet.

"Fine," said Katio, a little less arrogantly. "Thanks, Mikaela. And you too, Hozuki."
Then he noticed someone was missing. "Where's Kudo - I mean Conan?" He looked around as if expecting the detective to come out of the trees.
But he didn't.
Kid dropped down from the tree, card gun held loosely at his side. He was surprised to learn that he was concerned about the small boy. It would have been different if their hadn't been these creepy monsters hanging around, but the boy was alone out there.

About a half hours walk before Conan finds the group.
A stitch was in Conan's side and his ankle ached. He was now walking, and wondering if the vampire had made it in time to help the group.
It wasn't easy walking around in these deserted streets. Whatever had happened to Katio might just as easily happen to him.
And he had no way to shoot of a distress flare.

"Yeah, yeah," Mikaela waved his hand at Kid, then blinked at the question, looking over his shoulder. He shrugged. "Probably still trying to catch up. He told me to go ahead and help you." He said, looking back at the group again. "Kid, you don't need to worry about your little friend, he'll be here soon. And the Horsemen of John don't travel in packs."

"Ah," aid Kid. "So you knew what that thing was." He looked around. "I'm not so worried about more Horsemen. But if that thing is from your world.... well, it's safe to assume that other monsters, from other worlds are out there." And then, registering was Mika had said, he snapped, "That detective is not my friends!" But he still looked out into the night, waiting. (Keep saying that, Katio.  Just keep saying that.) |

He looked looked down at his sword, the thorny vines retracting back into the sword as he sheathed it. He let out a sigh, rolling his eyes. "And why should I believe that, Kiddo? "Yah, whatever," said Kid, crossing his arms. "Tell that to him. See if he'll stop trying to get in my way."
He put his card gun away want walked over to Shiro. The dog had a few shallow wounds that Kid could see, but he wasn't really sure how he could help the dog.
"Do you have any medical supplies on you?" he turned and asked the vampire, quite plainly changing the subject.

Mikaela shook his head. He didn't understand these two one bit, but he wasn't going to press that topic any farther. He then looked over st the dog, shaking his head. "Um no, sorry. I don't carry medical supplies on me," the vampire replied, looking back at Kid. "There might be a few things back at the city. We didn't get the chance to check everything, since it had gotten dark so fast."

Shiro watched the dog Shiro curiously, then nodded, standing back up. "Shiro is glad you're not injured," she said to the dog, talking about herself in third person, then looked to her side as Sora approached.
Mikaela blinked, tilting his head to the side at dog Shiro's question. "That was a Horsemen of John- a deadly creature created by a Sect to kill humans," he stated, glaring at the group. "It usually doesn't have an interest in animals, though."

The dog looked up at the young girl and grinned, pink tongue hanging out the side of his jaws
Hozuki stood and looked to Mikaela, nodding. "Interesting name," he murmured, rubbing his chin. "Shiro was only injured because he attacked the creature before you arrived to help," he explained. "And, now that that thing has been taken care of, allow me to properly introduce myself. I am Hozuki, and you are?" he asked, not having caught the vampire's name earlier.

Shiro let out a grin, scratching the dog behind the ears. "Hey Shiro, if the wounds begin to hurt, tell us alright?"
The vampire nodded. "Then perhaps you just startled it," he muttered, then nodded to Hozuki. "All right, nice to meet you, I guess. My name is Mikaela." He replied, taking a few steps backwards with a sigh, looking over at the group near the dog. "The rest of the group."
The taller teen looked over at them. "I am Sora and this is my step-sister, Shiro," he motioned to the little girl, then the dog. "And this is also Shiro."

He listened quietly as Mikaela introduced himself and then lowered his head. "He doesn't seem very nice," he mumbled. Hozuki raised an eyebrow. "A vampire? Interesting, I never knew they really existed," he murmured. "...but then I suppose some may say the same thing about myself," he added, but was speaking more to himself than anyone else. ~~~ Mint: [After many minutes of running] "Noct, I can't run anymore, I can't feel my legs," Prompto panted, his pace slowing greatly. He bent over, holding himself up with his hands on his knees as he caught his breath. The two had been following a road they stumbled upon for quite a ways now, it seemed to lead to where they had seen the flare. "Says the one who's always first to run from a fight," Noctis teased back, a faint smirk on his face. However, despite the teasing he stopped so the two of them could catch their breath. "Hey! That's totally different! Running from a giant monster is common sense!" Prompto retorted, one hand indignantly on his hip. As his pulse slowed he looked up the road, narrowing his eyes when he thought he saw something going down the middle of it. In this darkness, even with their flashlights, he was only able to see a dark silhouette. "Oi, Noct, you see that over there? Let me guess, you--" "Yeah, let's og check it out." "I knew it." |
