Mooncloud was just happening to do a border patrol when she saw something fall from the sky, after sending the patrol on their way Mooncloud ran towards the object. She came to a halt when she saw Cinderpaw laid out on the rocks along with the hawk. All she could do was blink and stare at Blacknose. Slowly, she approached the tom and Cinderpaw," Blacknose...I saw....What happened?" She asked softly, knowing very well the apprentice was heading to Starclan.
Larkpaw nodded as she followed him into the den," Of coarse I worry Lionpaw...Don't think I don't know what actually happened." She said lowly so only Lionpaw could hear her. Without waiting for a reply she turn to Berryleap," Will Poppypaw need a new mentor until Littlestar gets better?" She asked softly so she wouldn't wake Littlestar.

((Yes! Maybe they drift away and then one of them could get hurt or something and they come together again.))
"No, nothing..." Snowheart said with a sigh." This leaf-bare is the worst one I've seen in a while." The she-cat stilled, thinking she heard movement among the shrubs. --
Stonewhisker stretched out his paws before responding," I'd follow you Streampaw, if you were leader."

"Who cares if you're blind Streampaw. If it's meant to be, it's meant to be. Don't let your blindness get in the way of your dreams." Stonewhisker said gently to the young apprentice," Just don't give up. I think you'd make a wonderful leader."

(I'm so excited!)
Hawkstrike's bright attitude plummeted. Snowheart was right. This was probably the worst leaf-bare he has been through. He saw that Snowheart had tensed and soon knew what had done this. Hawkstrike's ears swiveled towards the source of the sound and flicked his tail to signal to Snowheart to be cautious. If it were prey, they couldn't let it escape. If it was something else, wary would be needed. However, he soon recognized the scent to be that of prey. Hawkstrike's muscles tightened as he fell into a crouch. With a wiggle of his rear, the tom pounced onto a rather thin mouse. With quick reflexes, he was able to snap it's neck with a swift motion of his paw. A sad sigh escaped his lips as he realized just how small the mouse really was. "At least it's something," Hawkstrike said after he dropped the corpse at Snowheart's front paws.

Blacknose knelt to the ground by Cinderpaw's side and curled his paws under his belly, his eyes glazed. "I-we...she caught a hawk." Blacknose didn't say anything else. Cinderpaw was a true warrior; she sacrificed herself to kill a hawk that would feed more than half the Clan. He pressed his nose against her fur, already feeling it grow cold already, his eyes glazed.
Lionpaw shuffled his paws. "Driftcloud!" he called, a bit louder this time. He licked his wound to cover his embarrassment of lying to Larkpaw. "We'll talk about this later," he whispered when he turned his head away from Berryleap.
Berryleap could tell there was something unspoken between the two apprentices, but he let it slide. He didn't want to intrude. "Perhaps a cat will step up to take her place as Poppypaw's mentor," he murmured. Berryleap imagined himself training Littlestar's apprentice, but shook his head to clear the thought. "Littlestar will decide that when she wakes up."

Cinderpaw like, just died, and Poppypaw, Hawkpaw, and Skypaw are hunting. Lionpaw, Larkpaw, Berryleap, Littlestar, and Driftcloud are in the medicine den, and Snowheart and Hawkstrike are hunting as well.))

She whispered more to herself than Blacknose before sighing," We should take her back to camp..Someone needs to tell Lionpaw.." "There's nothing to talk about Lionpaw." Larkpaw whispered before nodding to Berryleap," Okay, Poppypaw's been in a panic all morning. She's be slightly less stressed when she hears that." She dipped her head to the older warriror," Is Driftcloud not here right now? We need bile for Frostleaf's ticks."

"Really?" Streampaw smiled, "I won't give up then. Thanks Stonewhisker." The young she-cat purred, flicking her tail. She turned her head in the direction of the warrior. "Anytime Streampaw." The older tom purred softly to Streampaw. He saw a lot of hope in the she-cat and truly thought she would go far in this clan.

Snowheart nodded," It's better than nothing.Let's keep going, we might find something near the training cave. No one has been around there for a couple of days." She suggested to Hawkstripe with a smile.

Lionpaw looked at Larkpaw with pleading eyes, but she had already started talking with Berryleap. "I know where it is, I can go get it," Lionpaw volunteered. As he began walking away, he glanced back. "And we will talk about this, Larkpaw," he said, loud enough for Berryleap to hear. He turned away and padded deeper into the medicine den.
Berryleap caught on to Lionpaw's hinting. "Do you want to talk about it to me? I promise I won't say a word to Lionpaw." Berryleap hoped he had the she-cat's trust; it would make him a better mentor for when he got an apprentice.
Blacknose nodded dully. "Someone needs to restrain him from attacking me. He will take her death out on me, for letting Cinderpaw attack the hawk." Blacknose sighed. "i'll carry her." he nudged the limp Cinderpaw onto his back, his legs trembling under the weight. "Take the hawk, please." Blacknose pushed on ahead, going at a relatively fast pace, considering the extra weight.

(Sorry, was busy) Driftcloud spun around at the sound of his name, "yes?" Hopefully it wasn't his mother calling. She always nagged him about him being a disgrace to his family for not being a warrior. He felt the fur on his neck rising but quickly pushed it back down before. "Oh, hello Lionpaw. What can I do for you?" He almost sighed in relief out loud that it wasn't his mother.

Stoneheart leapt at the hawk, shocked when Cinderpaw joined in. "What are you doing?" She yowled as she slid back into the ground. Fear struck through her as Cinderpaw was lifted into the atmosphere. "Let go of it!" Hissed the plush she-cat. "It's for your own safety!" It was clear Cinderpaw wasn't going to listen to either her or Blacknose. With each passing breath, the fear for Cinderpaw's life became stronger and stronger as she was carried higher into the atmosphere. Then she saw that both the hawk and Cinderpaw were quickly falling towards the earth. A loud thump came from the rocks as Cinderpaw landed. "Cinderpaw?" She yelled, the fear in her voice strong. Stoneheart padded as fast as she could towards her, beckoning Blacknose to follow, but he was already there. "I'm so sorry..."

(No problem! I'm thinking about doing something to my siggie, so that may take time.)
Hawkstrike's slow nod soon quickened as he realized it was their best option of catching better, or at least, any prey at all. "Let's go," he said through the mouse in his mouth, knowing the ground was to hard to even bother to cover the catch.

Larkpaw shook her head slowly," Nothing Berryleap...I'm just worried about his side." She shifted paws and waited for Lionpaw, feeling as if Lionpaw was mad at her for something. Mooncloud nodded,"Okay." She worried about what Lionpaw would do as she picked up the hawk and followed behind Blacknose sadly, Cinderpaw was too young to go to Starclan. (( True haha but I like staying busy ))

"I've been trying to think of ways to hunt and attack.. It's kind of difficult, do you have any tips?" Streampaw flicked her tail, waiting for a reply from Stonewhisker. Stonewhisker thought for a moment," I wish I could help but I don't know... How about tomorrow I take you out hunting and we can try different ways for you to hunt? Maybe we'll come up with something in the process?" He suggested to Streampaw, wanting to help her.

((Okay!!)) Stonewhisker smiled at the young she-cat," Streamstar...That has a good ring to it." He purred. Whiteberry padded over to Heatherpool and purred," Hello Heatherpool." (Sorry Moon! I completely forgot about Heatherpool and Whiteberry! I was so preoccupied by Cinderpaw's death. Which, btw, Lionpaw will start screaming and will need a restraint by another cat. Possibly Whiteberry?) Heatherpool nuzzled her mate. "Whiteberry! How are warrior duties coming along?" Heatherpool missed being a warrior, but she loved her kits, and wouldn't trade her life with any other.

Larkpaw, Lionpaw can be dangerous, and if he did something to you or another apprentice, I need you to tell me so something can be done about it." He hoped he was getting through to her, but he could never be sure.

(I'm just going to make up names for the kits because no one has decided to make some) "Cloudkit is turning out to be quite a hunter," Heatherpool commented about her she-cat. "And Tallkit is very brave." Heatherpool leaned against Whiteberry, letting his scent lull her. "I've missed your visits to the nursery. The kits do too." Blacknose was out of breath by the time they reached the tunnel. Cinderpaw's weight must've really gotten to him, but he refused to set her down or give her to Mooncloud. He slowly padded into the camp, setting Cinderpaw down in the center of the clearing, settling down next to his apprentice and pushing his nose into her fur.

Driftcloud- "Oh, sure thing Lionpaw." He turned back to his store and went to the bile soaked moss balls on an outcrop that almost resembled a shelf. He hooked it with his claw and rolled it over to Lionpaw. He padded over to him and sniffed around for the wound, "Where's the wound?" He asked, almost sneezing with his nose so close to his paitent's fur.

He started thinking of ways she could be able to hunt without using sight. -- "Lionpaw would never hurt me Berryleap. Not intentionally at least." Larkpaw said to the older warrior before going on," Like I said, I'm just worried about his wound. It looked infected and it's leaf-bare. There is always a shortage of herbs around this time and I'm just worried about him." She voiced her worries out aloud.

Berryleap nodded slowly. "Alright. I just want to make sure you are safe." He sat back on his haunches, wetting a paw and drawing it over his ear.
Lionpaw turned a bit so Driftcloud could see his side. "Here." He kneaded the ground impatiently. "Is it infected?"
