Swiftstar nodded, feeling relieved as they neared camp and there was no blood or fear scent. Perhaps there was nothing wrong after all. He felt his fur begin to lie flat, and he realized it had been standing upright.
Silverspirit flicked her ear. "Okay so maybe you have a point"

Meadowbrook was about to respond to her mate, only to frown lightly as she scented something strange on the wind.
Stonepath nodded once. “I will admit that I may be too serious around them sometimes.” He sighed.

Stormfury raced across the WindClan moor, feeling a strange mix of emotions. He tried to push them all down, and carry on with the warning. WindClan may have banished him, but his family was still (mostly) there. "We're almost there!" he called back to Thistlestalk and Poppyflame. The camp is just through those brambles! He pointed ahead with his tail.

Fernheart padded out of the nursery with Cloudkit. He had just finished getting groomed and Cloudkit huffed before seeing his father and brother. He quickly scampered over.

Poppyflame ran after Stormfury, “How close is the fire?” She called out, hoping they had beat the fire there.

Thistlestalk huffed as he tried to keep up with Stormfury, he glanced beside him, making sure Poppyflame was still with them."I kinda forgot how fast Windclan cats are." he grumbled

Stormfury scented the air. "I think we beat it here, but we'll have to move quickly. As soon as the moor catches fire it's going to spread faster than a rabbit with a thorn in its tail." They were nearing the WindClan camp now, and he slowed slightly so they didn't go crashing through the camp entrance. Nervously, he glanced at his clanmates. "Uh..maybe one of you should go first."

Thistlestalk nodded as he caught his breath "Okay, I'll go first but it's going to be even more strange if you are found standing out here." he mewed, before tentatively walking towards the entrance of the camp.

Stormfury nodded. He didn't mind going in, but going first? Not something he wanted right now. He stepped aside to let Thistlestalk pass before stepping in behind to follow.

Silverspirit opened her mouth to reply to Eclipsesky, but her words caught in her throat as she scented the air. "Stormfury?" she murmured barely above a whisper.
Dustfire purred as he scented Cloudkit racing towards him, and his mate. "Hello beautiful" he said, glancing in Fernheart's general direction.

Meadowbrook narrowed her eyes suddenly, recognizing the scents and feeling a sudden twinge of opportunity. She looked at Brownleaf and mewed.
“We need to go back to camp. Now.”

Thistlestalk padded into camp looking around "Swiftstar?" he called.
Eclipsesky tensed "What..?" the medicine cat quickly got to his feet, padding out of the den.

Brownleaf nodded and started racing back to the camp, now grateful for the training he had received from the moor-runners. His stocky body still wasn’t good for speed, but he did build up quite a bit of stamina.

Stomfury followed after Thistlestalk hesitantly, trying to come off much more confident than he was. He glanced around the WindClan camp warily, trying to locate the leader or his family.
Silverspirit followed Eclipsesky out of the medicine cat's den and gasped softly when she saw her brother.
Swiftstar was still out of camp with his mate on a dat.

Thistlestalk turned towards Eclipsesky and Silverspirit as the leader was no where to be seen "Eclipsesky, where is Swiftstar? This is urgent." he mewed, his voice tense.
Eclipsesky was frozen as he stared at Stormfury, the small tom's eyes locked on the Shadowclan warrior.
Fallowmeadow frowned as she caught a new scent in the air "I-Is that Shadowclan scent?"

Blacktail’s ears flicked tightly as he turned, casting a sharp look at the Shadowclan cats. He quickly stepped down from the gorse wall, tail lashing as he signaled for the warriors to guard over the kits.
“Thistlestalk. Poppyflame...” He trained his gaze on Stormfury.
“Stormfury. What are you doing in Windclan?” He demanded firmly, though his eyes widened at their scorches and burns.

"What?!?" Swiftstar scented the air and his eyes widened. "It is ShadowClan! And it smells like they're close to camp!" He broke out into a sprint, hoping his mate would follow. What was ShadowClan doing in their camp?
Stormfury's eyes scanned the WindClan cats as he tried to hide how nervous he was. His gaze stopped when it reached Silverspirit and Eclipsesky. Warmth filled his eyes as he saw the medicine cat. His old friend looked healthy, better than he had looked in moons.

Fallowmeadow raced after Swiftstar, the she-cats fur already rising in panic.
Thistlestalk dipped his head to the deputy "Sorry for intruding Blacktail, we came to warn you. The twolegs started a fire and it's quickly spreading through every territory. I don't mean to sound harsh but I suggest you start evacuating camp as soon as possible."

Soulspirit bristled at the scent of ShadowClan. When she heard the word fire, her eyes widened.
Poppyflame nodded, “It’s spreading quickly.” She mewed to the WindClan deputy.

“Fire?” Blacktail’s eyes widened, though he could tell by the smell and the sight that the Shadowclan warriors were not lying. He looked between the three of them and called.
“Get the kits gathered, right now! Get all of our clanmates here!...How far has it spread thus far?” He demanded to the patrol, grateful for their warning. He would have to wait until Swiftstar returned, though worry sparked for his leader.

Thistlestalk shook his head "We're not sure, it swept through our territory already and we think Thunderclan's. Patrols were sent out to Skyclan and Riverclan to warn them as well. It's like no other fire we've ever seen."
Eclipsesky snapped out of his trance, turning to Silverspirit. "We need to save as many as my herbs as possible, if anyone gets burned we're going to need them. Dawnshadow! Grab help if you can!"
Sagefoot tensed at the deputy's voice looking at Stonepath with alarm. She quickly scooped up Juniperkit and exited the nursery.

Swiftstar burst through the camp entrance, eyes narrowing at the ShadowClan warriors. "What is going on here?" He asked, his eyes fixing on Stormfury. The former WindClan tom's gaze tore from Eclipsesky as Swiftstar burst in. Stormfurly blinked at Swiftstar. Would the WindClan leader listen to them?

Blacktail sighed in relief at the sight of Swiftstar, his eyes flickering quickly.
“They have come to warn of a fast spreading fire, Swiftstar. I do not think they would lie of something like this. Shall we evacuate?” He asked, awaiting Swiftstar’s orders.
Stonepath’s ears fell sharply as he scrambled to pick up one of their daughters.
