"Then you can stay, but I can't promise we will be talking to gods or fighting monsters all the time. In fact," He paused, unsure for a moment if he should continue. Before, he had been worried about upsetting the other male, but now, he frankly didn't care. He didn't like Saber's pain. "I think we should stop. Your memories seem to only bring you pain and as you said, they aren't home. I get wanting to know who you are, but maybe you don't need your memories." He looked over at Saber, hoping he had made sense. Saber tensed, nervously glancing up and meeting Bion's eyes. 'But... I won't know where I'm from.' He said. 'I won't know how I got there... I won't know who I am.' He chewed his bottom lip. 'You... you would be okay with that? I'm practically a stranger, Bion. I could be a murderer for all you know- for all /I/ know, in fact.'

Well, that's a good backstory for Saber. How are we going to play it out? What if Eres managed to get in one of the brother's heads and the brother is hunting Saber down? )

Bion sighed and shook his head. He looked away and into the amber liquid in his cup. "I don't think you're a murderer. I mean, you haven't kill me or anyone in the last couple of weeks. In fact, I think you saved me a couple of times and a little girl just a day after we met. I don't think you could be one of the bad guys, Saber." He looked back at the man. "I'll still follow you if you decide to continue. I just think there is more to a person than his home or his past."

((Ooh sounds good! ^.^ he's a triplet, so I can have the youngest one be the more susceptible to it. We could have Bion take him down and snap him out of it)) We could have it be tomorrow in rp time when Saber is out looking for jobs. Saber could maybe be trying to talk his younger brother out of it, but Bion, probably late or far away, thinks Saber is a danger and shoots the brother. Maybe the brother has good relaxes so it just hits him in a non-fatal place. We can have a tiny fight, with Saber and Bion eventually sedating the brother. Then the brother could tell S and B about the whole situation. )

Saber blinked slowly, then a deep blush spread across his cheeks and he swiftly lowered his eyes, sipping at his drink, feeling flustered, humbled and embarrassed all at the same time by Bion's admittance. 'Thankyou...' he softly said, feeling a little better about himself.

Bion smiled and went back to nursing his drink. He was pretty sure this warm feeling was not just coming from the drink now. He hummed lightly as he enjoyed the peace. "I like this." He said, knowing his was talking more than usual but couldn't help but to blurt his thoughts out.

He said, knowing his was talking more than usual but couldn't help but to blurt his thoughts out. Saber glanced up again and vaguely wondered for a moment what Bion might mean, before he realised he meant the comfortable atmosphere between the two. He smiled warmly and nodded in agreement. 'Me too.' He finished his glass, playing with a thread on his shirt. 'I'm... in really glad I met you, Bion. That you took the time to mend a broken man you found on the road.'

Bion snorted. He thought it was a simple task. "It really only took a couple of herbs and bandages. You seemed to have healed fairly well actually." He said, completely missing the fact the man probably meant more mentally rather than physically. "We have had pretty good luck until now. How is the tooth?" He asked before taking a sip of his drink.

He opened his mouth and touched the tip of his tongue to the canine he lost as a Saber-tooth. 'My human tooth is still there.' He said, before yawning tiredly and stretching. 'I can't feel any pain anymore.' He added, smiling at Bion, 'but I imagine when I turn back its going to be quite painful.' He glanced at Bion's drink. 'Are you done? Want to head up to the room?'

Bion nodded before finishing up the glass. It was going to be troublesome now that Saber's big cat form was hurt. It was very useful in battle. Bion would be lying if he didn't worry about that. but he pushed all of this away. He was tired and his mind was not up to worrying. He left his payment on the table as he stood up. "I almost wished we had kept one of the boars for ourselves. Those could have provided a nice pelt and some meat to sell." He muttered, mostly to himself.

'Sorry.' Saber apologised, feeling bad that he hadn't been able to cope with the pain enough to bring the actual boars back with them. He led the way up to their room and walked in, locking it behind them, before flipping down on the double bed and leaving plenty of room for Bion.

"Nah. It's not your fault. Neither one of us could have carried those beasts." Bion said with a shrug. The man made his way up the stairs to the bed fairly quickly. He set his bag down and quickly took off his bow and quiver. For a second he considered changing into something more comfortable, but then decided against it as it would take too much precious time. He took off his boots and got under the covers. His eyes closed quickly as he started to drift off.

Saber glanced at him and sighed slightly as Bion already began to drift off, feeling a little grumpy at the fact. He then paused, and spent a good half hour of silence wondering what to do with his tooth- then it clicked, and he sat up excitedly, rummaging through his bag for the items he would need. He sat at the desk in the room and removed a little of the inside of the tooth- he spent a good hour whittling some wood he found (after jumping out of the window and scaring some drunk passers-by) into a handle- he wrapped leather strips around the handle to strengthen the grip. He slid it inside of the tooth, firmly secured it with glue he'd also grabbed whilst he had leapt from the window; he then wrapped extra leather strips around the base of the tooth and the handle, so they almost looked like vines, and then he sharpened the already-sharp point, and then the sides, so it could cut and slash as well as stab. He then sat back and examined his work, smiling widely with pride. He hoped Bion would like it. He yawned, feeling exhaustion and the alcohol starting to overwhelm him, and promptly fell asleep where he was sitting at the desk.
The next morning he woke with the sun, and silently stayed where he was to soak in its rays as he impatiently waited for Bion to wake up, examining the demigod with a warm gaze, knowing that his feelings last night hadn't just been due to the alcohol.

Bion shifted and turned as he slept. In this case, he wasn't having bad dreams; he couldn't find a place that satisfied him. The man groaned as he managed to shift into the sun's path. The bright rays were enough to stir him awake. He blinked his eyes and grunted. His head wasn't too bad, but he could feel a twinge of a headache. He stretched with his arms reaching across the bed and his mouth open in a silent yawn. Slowly, his mind caught up and he remembered he was suppose to have another person beside him in this bed. He blinked some more before looking around. He quickly spotting Saber sitting at a desk. "Good morning." He said with his voice rough from just waking up. The man slowly sat up, not walking to remain in bed but not wanting to leave the warm covers.

'I trust you slept well?' He asked, tilting his head. Saber was extremely excited to give the man opposite him the dagger that he'd made from his tooth, and was severely hoping he would like the gift.

Bion blinked. He was a bit surprised at how good a mood Saber was in. He thought after yesterday...he brushed the thoughts away and put on the small smile. "Yeah. How about you?" He asked before looking over the man. like him, Saber seemed to have feel asleep in yesterday's clothing. Bion almost wondered if Saber had slept at all.

He held out his hand and made a come hither motion, eyes bright and sly as he gazed at the demigod. 'C'mere. Stop in front of me and close your eyes whilst holding out your dominant hand.'

Bion was about to grumble something about Saber coming to him instead of Bion leaving the warmth of the blankets, but decided against it. He left the warm covers and slowly approached Saber. He would like to keep Saber smiling. Plus, it was a simple task, if not one that made him incredibly nervous. He trusted Saber, but Bion felt odd closing his eyes in front of a man who very much like a trickster at the moment. His felt an odd mix of nervousness and excitement. He stopped a couple feet away from Saber. Shoving these feelings away, he slowly closed his eyes and held out his hand. He sighed, hoping to calm himself.

Saber grinned as Bion stopped in front of him and he got to his feet, suddenly resisting the urge to- no, no, task at hand. He flipped the knife so he held the sharp end and pressed the hilt into Bion's Palm, closing his fingers over it tightly so the male wouldn't drop it and get used to the weight. He again resisted the urge to lean forwards and instead stepped back, still grinning like a Cheshire Cat. 'You can open your eyes now.' He purred, excited to see Bion's reaction.

Bion had to resist opening his eyes. Whatever was placed into his palm, it felt like something leathery. He was not expecting something to actually appear in his hand. He thought this would be some kind of trick or Saber would go in for a...he stopped his thought when Saber spoke. His eyes slowly opened. There was no question of what this was. The dagger was expertly made and very beautiful. Bion opened his palm slightly to observe the hilt. A small smile grew on his face and his eyes lit up at the design and colors pf the hilt. His eyes moved back to the blade. There was doubting the origin. "This is your tooth." He said, looking up at Saber, "Did you make this?"

'I stayed up because I couldn't sleep- then I had the idea and got really excited, so I just spent the time making it into a dagger. I remembered you lost your other one throwing it at the manticore.' He explained, still grinning. 'Do you like it? I tried to balance the weight so it would feel right in your palm'

Bion nodded. "It's perfect. Thank you." He said with a large grin. He stood still for a second, unsure of what to do. He felt like he should hug Saber, but didn't know if he should. He had no clue where they stood on their relationship. Bion decided to move past these thoughts. Labels weren't needed and he didn't want to sully the moment. "Maybe you should stay here and rest. I'll try to get some money today." He said.

'I'll rest for an hour then I'll meet you back here in the morning.' He assured him, smiling lightly as he walked over to the bed and flopped down onto it, first sprawling out before curling around one of the pillows with a tired yawn, not bothering to tug the sheets over his body as he knew the heat would be rising soon.

Bion nodded and tucked the dagger in his belt. He wasn't sure what changed about Saber just then, but he wasn't going to ask. As long as the other man was happy, Bion wouldn't ask too much. After all, he had to think about what he would do today. He wouldn't let Saber earn all the money. He felt like hunting, but that was always a gamble. Though, he did feel lucky today. Bion grabbed his bow and quiver. He spared on glace at Saber before stepping out of the room. Lightly, he closed the door and sighed.

Later that night- extremely early into the morning- Saber silently entered their room and glanced at Bion in the bed. He tiredly limped over to a chair and winced as he sat down, silently undoing his sandals to slide them off sore, blistered feet. Thighs aching, he removed the coloured silks that he wore on his body, along with the golden bangles and jewellery he'd been showered in. Unfortunately, entertainment of the rich was a difficult but well-paying job, and with Saber's allure and beauty it wasn't a hard thing to get into. He gently touched a few of the bites on his neck, wincing at how tender they were, and slid his fingers over the long scratches over his hips and back. He felt a little sullen at his marred body, but said not a word to wake his... partner? He supposed? He didn't want to trouble Bion with his wounds. He glanced around, wondering if he couldn't find something to take the worst of the pain and aches off of them. He stood and flinched, grabbing a shelf tightly and hissing slightly as they twinged hard with pain. He'd been dancing most of the day and it took a harsh toll when he knew in his bones that he hadn't done it for a long time- memories or no memories.

Being a light sleeper from all the nights on the road(and from not having any drinks), Bion woke to the soft hissing and creaking of the floor. He reach for the dagger on the side table, while looking around for the intruder. He knew Saber was suppose to return now, but robbers also came late in the night. His green eyes scanned the room until they landed on Saber. Even in the low light, he could recognize Saber. His hard eyes softened and he smiled. "Hello." He said while sitting up. He caught Saber holding on to the shelf. "Are you okay?" He asked, already leaving the bed. The smile left his face and a grimace replaced it.

He said, trying to gentle his tone and make it sound soothing, but he couldn't hide the underlying pain. He lifted the silks to hide the bites and bruises that covered his neck, feeling a little embarrassed at his own trade and desperately not wanting Bion to see the only real thing he was good for other than fighting. 'I'm okay, honestly.' He said, shooting him a small reassuring smile.

Bion shook his head with a sigh. Saber was defiantly not okay and was not going to get away from this. He saw Saber trying to hide something with the clothing he was wearing. "If you hide your pain, it will only get worse. Sit down on the bed." He ordered before shuffling to go light a candle. He set the candle on the bedside table before fetching his bag. "Now, what kind of pain do you have? Sores? Burns? Blisters? Open wounds?" He asked, shifting through the bag for herbs and ointments.
