Bion shook his head with a sigh. Saber was defiantly not okay and was not going to get away from this. He saw Saber trying to hide something with the clothing he was wearing. "If you hide your pain, it will only get worse. Sit down on the bed." He ordered before shuffling to go light a candle. He set the candle on the bedside table before fetching his bag. "Now, what kind of pain do you have? Sores? Burns? Blisters? Open wounds?" He asked, shifting through the bag for herbs and ointments. Saber silently did as he was told, casting his gaze to the floor, suddenly feeling overwhelming shame, cheeks red. He flinched at Bion's question. '...blisters on my feet.' He mumbled. '... the rest are bites, bruises and scratches.' He kept his head low so his long hair could cover his face.

Bion picked up the cloth and wash bin as well as his ointments. He walked over to Saber and sat down in front of him. Carefully, he pick up the other man's and gently washed away the dirt. "I'm use to being lied to and tricked." Bion said, as he rung out the cloth. The man could only remember too well how many people in his town and on the road had lied to tried to deceive him and he hadn't been innocent either. there were plenty of times Bion had lied to travelers or people he had served. "Even I have lied." He set the cloth aside and began to pop blisters. He did this by gently poking the blisters with a needle then letting the pus leak out. He blotted on the ointment and wrapped the foot in a bandage. The blisters were in clumps so he didn't bother cutting the bandage. He repeated this process with the other foot. When he thought about it, he found he was upset about Saber lying to him. It wasn't just the fact that something lied to him. It was Saber lying to him. "However, I don't like being lied to by someone close to me, especially with their health and something I can easily fix. I'm fine with helping you." he said, finally looking up at Saber face. Though, in this case, he was looking at Saber's hair. Gods, he hoped he wasn't assuming anything about their relationship. He just thought after yesterday night's drinking and Saber's gift, they were closer? Maybe he had assumed too much. "Where are your bruises and wounds?"

He hissed slightly with pain as Bion worked on the blisters, and felt an even greater overwhelming guilt and shame at what Bion said to him. 'I'm sorry.' He said softly. '...my line of work isn't exactly as... honourable as yours.' He finally lifted his hair into its usual bun, taking it away from his ravaged neck, and allowed the silks on his upper torso to drop away, revealing further abuse over his chest, shoulders and collar bones. He couldn't look Bion in the eyes. 'Entertainment is highly sought after, and highly looked down upon.' He continued. 'I didn't want you to think of me in that way.'

Bion blinked. Now Bion did not expect this. Not that he should be surprised. There must have been a reason Saber was so comfortable flirting and sleeping next to a man. No one could be born with the ability to be as smooth as Saber. At least, that was what Bion told himself. "I'm not an old man you know." Bion said before making a turning motion with his finger. He would need to wash Saber's wounds, scratch and bite marks from excited people easily could get infected, and he wasn't going to bring the wash bin on the bed. "I'm not scandalized by entertainers. I honestly don't see the reason everyone acts like they are better than them when those same high strung people are going to visit the entertainers later." He sighed. "I mean, as long as both parties are happy, what's the problem? I'm not a big fan of slaves though." He winced as he spotted a particularly deep cut. "However, you might want to tell some of them to be less enthusiastic." He said in a half-joking tone.

He murmured, no longer flinching as Bion cleaned his wounds and touched him, feeling more at ease. 'I was scared you'd think of me as- as less than dirt.' He tucked some loose hair behind his ear, then chuckled lightly at his last comment. 'Would you believe me if I said I prefer it?' He said, gaze a little sly and flirty as he glanced back at Bion.

Bion shook his head as he started to clean. He hummed as if in thought. He had no doubt Saber would be able to push anyone away if he didn't like what they were doing. "Yes, I think I would believe you. Though I'm also worried for you. Bruises and red marks are okay, but anything more is going to be troublesome. Also less of them please." He made sure to keep his tone light, he didn't want to upset Saber further. Though his ointment was starting to run out. He finished dabbing on the ointment and double checked to make sure he had gotten everything. He started to wrap the man or put patches over the more troublesome bites.

'Sorry.' He said, fiddling with his silks. 'I'll try and find less... aggressive clients.' He said, after trying to find the correct word to explain what he meant. He sighed slightly with relief as the pain slowly faded from his wounds, and smiled warmly at Bion. 'Thankyou for the care. Also, I should have gotten enough money to last us a decent trip.'

Bion wanted to tell Saber he wasn't trying to stop him from doing what he liked. It was just the wounds were troubling. He smiled back at Saber. Bion could feel sleep tugging at him now that the adrenaline had disappeared. He nodded. "That's good. I got some money but less than what I expected." He said before standing up and flopping down on his side of the bed.

'I hate that this is the only thing I can do and that it pays so ridiculously well.' He sighed. 'I feel like a slave half the time.' He looked at the ceiling, before suddenly leaning forwards and pressing a chaste kiss to Bion's cheek, and rolling so his back was to him, blushing deeply. 'Thankyou again, Bion. Goodnight.'

Bion blinked at Saber's quick transition. If he had the time between, he would have promised to not have him work that way anymore. Bion could bring him along on the hunting trips. With Saber's nose, he could be of use. He nodded before turning away from the man. "Good night." He said before shutting his eyes.

The next morning, Saber was glad to see that Bion's care had hurried the healing along in his feet and that the blisters were all but healed. He smiled and got dressed in his silks, pulling his cloak around his body to hide it, and then looked at Bion with a gentle smile. He then headed out, stretching. As he turned a corner, he froze to see a massive white Saber-tooth prowling down the alley. A pain entered his head and he gripped it as one of the faceless shadows in his memory finally became real. 'Talon,' he gasped, the name throwing itself upon his tongue. The white cat looked up and narrowed glowing-golden eyes on Saber, hissing and pulling back his lips to further show his teeth. His claws were huge- his given name to represent this- and hooked like that of an eagle. They scratched the ground painfully as he stalked towards Saber, who fearfully began to back out of the alley and attempt to return to his Bion- he'd protect him, he always did. People on the street began to scream as they saw the beast, running away, and chaos ensued. Saber dived as Talon pounced at him, barely missing being gored by his huge claws, and began to run down the street back to the inn.

Bion yawned. He blinked his eyes as he heard a faint screaming. It didn't sound good, but gods, did Bion wish it was just going to be a false alarm. He shuffled to the window and opened it. He sighed. Saber was being chased by a large, white cat. What did peak his interest was, it was amazingly similar to the other man's cat form. Brother? Father? Mother? "Whatever. It's too early for this." He dismissed his thoughts as he ran to get his bow and an arrow. If only the monsters would wait until a reasonable time to terrorize the town, then Bion could get some sleep. He hoped his power was working properly today and they wouldn't have another incident like the boar. The saber cat did not look like it would forgive an arrow in its side. He quickly nocked the bow. Now back at the window, Bion pulled back the arrow. he took a deep breath as he followed the large cat with the tip of his bow. He decided, at this distance and awkward window opening, he would aim for the neck. His eyes narrowed and his body tensed before he let the arrow fly.

Just as he shot it the cat moved further forwards in an attempt to trip Saber; it clawed his ankle and held on, and he yelled as he crashed to the ground and span on his back to face him, ready to transform. The cat released a loud, growly-yowl as the arrow thudded into its shoulder, and began to run in circles in an attempt to reach to remove it, looking panicked. 'Talon! Please!!' It stopped and swung to face Saber, panting heavily and baring its fangs again. 'It's me- your brother. Please.' Saber breathed, holding his hands up to show he was unarmed. 'Please.' The cat blinked slowly, the golden colour in his eyes flickering- then melting away, replaced with albino-pink. He released a low moan and looked at his shoulder. 'Thankyou, Bion.' Saber breathed, knowing the pain had helped. He stood and looked up at the window, smiling gratefully, before he carefully tugged out the arrow and pointed at a nearby alley, quickly pushing the cat into it to hide from the crowd.

Bion swore under his breath when the arrow landed in the cat's shoulder. Maybe his power was broken in some way or he had used it all. At least it gave Saber time to run away. Bion looked at Saber to see he was not running away. Instead, he was talking to the cat. Bion sighed. This was defiantly someone who was family. At least, he hoped it was family. Hopefully it was not another God or Goddess. Bion smiled at Saber before leaving the window to collect the rest of the arrows and his dagger. He also collected his bag just because the cat would need treatment. He left quietly out the backdoor of the tavern and entered the alley. "So who is this?" He asked.

'This is my younger triplet brother, Talon.' Saber told him. 'Remember when I said I was one of three?' He added, just in case Bion couldn't remember. Talon whined and looked at Bion with a mixture of a grumpy expression and a grateful one. 'He says he doesn't know how he got here, and that he last remembers he was out hunting.' Saber explained, as he worked on carefully trying to slide the arrow out of the cats shoulder. Talon hissed as Saber successfully removed it, then became immediately mild again and looked at his wound as it healed within seconds, before their very eyes. Saber stared with his mouth half-open. 'Holy...'

Bion nodded. He remembered the brothers part, not the triplet part. He nodded as Saber spoke, always keeping an eye on Talon. Bion still didn't trust the male, even if he had calmed down. Saber had recalled that his memory of home wasn't warm or happy, so Bion figured anyone from the home couldn't really be trusted. He frowned as the wound healed in mere seconds. Talon was either a really powerful demigod or some kind of monster. He threw out the god idea since Saber didn't have the quick healing factor and that would be passed on if they were gods. At least, he thought it would be that way. if they were demigods, the power could be dueled out differently, but if they were gods, they would have the same powers, right? Bion sighed. He looked up at Saber to see what the man would do next. Talon was the answer to all his questions. Talon would know everything about Saber.

Saber seemed very reluctant to further engage with the patiently waiting cat, who was blinking at him complacently. 'Can you... take on your human form, please? It'll be less...... alarming.' Saber finally said. The cat blinked then stood, before transforming swiftly before them. He was much paler than Saber and had pinkish coloured eyes with white hair; albino. 'Better?' He asked, voice impossibly soft. 'Better.' Saber agreed, blinking at his brother before drowning. 'Why were your eyes gold?' 'What?' 'Your eyes were gold when you were attacking me.' 'I attacked you?' Saber frowned, not understanding as he looked at Bion. 'He doesn't remember.'

Bion sat down on a nearby crate. He watched the brothers quietly and kept his mouth shut. He didn't know if it would be right to interfere. Saber didn't look comfortable while Talon was just waiting. He was starting to feel antsy. He frowned when the new male didn't have any memory of what happened, or he wasn't talking about something. It seemed like the albino was telling the truth, but he wasn't just going to trust him, even if Saber seemed to. He threw the whole no interfering rule out the window. "What do you remember about Saber?" Bion asked. He figured Saber was here for some reason. A man doesn't just get stabbed and then wander into a forest for no reason. Maybe they needed to find who stabbed Saber; they could be out for the whole family. "Who stabbed him?"

'Me and you were quite close; we used to get picked on by Dagger, our middle brother, who was much bigger than the both of us.' He said, smiling slightly as he leant against a wall and folded his arms. 'Runt.' Saber murmured. 'He used to call me Runt.' Talon nodded. 'You were banished about two months ago. You slaughtered half the pantheon and nearly killed dad and dagger as well.' Saber froze, his eyes slowly widening. 'what?' He whispered. 'The pantheon, Saber; you were banished for murdering half of the gods and goddesses. Come to think of it... your eyes were golden too, when you did it. You weren't yourself. You hadn't been yourself for about a year actually; not after you met that bit- that goddess, Eris. She had you wrapped around her little finger. We thought maybe you'd had a fight with her and you were taking it out on the pantheon.' Saber stared at Talon in shock, his legs shaking and weak- they gave and he leaned heavily against a wall, slowly sliding down it. 'I- I don't-'

Bion was glad he was sitting down. This was...unexpected. Now there was no doubting it, Saber was some sort of god. A demigod defiantly wouldn't be able to kill gods and goddesses. He must be weakened, he thought, remember the temple and boars. Plus, Saber could have killed all the monsters with one blow in his powerful form. He had to remind himself that this Saber, the one Talon was talking about, wasn't in control of himself. He wouldn't do those things normally, at least to the whole pantheon. Bion wouldn't blame Saber for attacking Dagger. But they would have to go after this Eris first.
He glanced at Saber to see how he was dealing with the news. Worry instantly flooded into him as Saber broke down. He felt instantly guilty for thinking to himself before checking on Saber. He walked to the man and crouched besides him. If they were alone, Bion might have hugged Saber, but he didn't want to reveal any weakness to the god standing next to them. Yes, Talon had said that Saber and him were close, but Bion wasn't quite ready to trust the man that had attacked them and was a god. Instead, he placed a hand on Saber's shoulder avoiding any of his wounds. "You weren't you. This is just like what happened at the temple a couple of days ago. You can't blame yourself for something that you couldn't control."

'But I don't remember it.' Saber whispered, eyes wide and filled with horror. 'How can I not remember... killing people, Bion?' Talon examined them and cast his gaze away, giving them a little privacy as Bion comforted his brother. 'And I'm not a- I'm a-' Saber brought his fingers to his mouth, chewing anxiously on his thumbnail. 'Who... who is this Eris?' 'She was beautiful.' Talon sighed, looking up at the sky. 'She was as radiant as the sun; her hair sunbeam gold, her eyes shining the same colour. Pale skin. Utterly ethereal, even to us gods. We couldn't work out how you of all people managed to seduce her. As handsome and charming as you were, you were never the best when it came to people, unless you were dancing.' Saber nodded, relieved to hear where /that/ part of his skills had come from. 'we need to find her. This Eris.' Saber murmured. 'Maybe she has the answers.'

Bion frowned. Well, that one seemed easy. Going on a rampage caused him to be banished. Bion wouldn't be surprised if Saber's dad was pissed enough to lock away the memories and hope to never see his son again. Godly dads seemed to be that way. However, the more likely answer was, Eris was involved. With the matching eye color when attacking, the fact that Saber doesn't attack for no good reason, and that Eris was close to Saber, he could guess Eris play some part. It would be easily to manipulate someone she was close to, especially if you're someone as impressive and beautiful as Eris. He was almost hesitant when it came to hunting down Eris, but if she sent Saber's brother, who knows who she would manipulate and send next. "The only problem is, she doesn't have a temple. At least, if we are talking about the goddess of discord. No one really wants to pay tribute to her." Bion said.

'That's her.' Talon confirmed, nodding at Bion. 'And yes.. that would be a problem.' He chewed his bottom lip, deep in thought. 'Look... why don't I just come find you both in a weeks time? I'll see if I can pinpoint her location.' Saber nodded. 'That sounds good to me, Talon. We'll do that. Right, Bion?' He looked at his partner and smiled at him warmly, head tilted slightly to the side as he hoped he'd agree with the decision.

Bion nodded, looking up at Talon. if Saber trusted the albino god, then Bion would do his best to as well. It would mean they would have to stay in the same town for a while. That part made Bion nervous. The whole monsters being attracted to them would be bad for both the town and their health. But he sighed. "Yes. We will wait here." He said, giving vocal agreement. He smiled at Saber. At least it couldn't be that bad. Saber would be here will him. Bion could show him around, if he already didn't dance his way around the city.

Bion groaned before sitting on the ground. He leaned against the opposite wall so he was facing Saber. He looked up at the sky as he rested his head against the stone wall. "Just a little. You know, it may be just me, but it's a little early for this. Just once," He held up one finger before dropping it, "I would like to sleep in before weird stuff happens." He sighed then looked at Saber with a small smile. "How are you holding up though? I know you are overwhelmed, but are you really okay?" He asked.

Bion sighed and hung his head. He looked back up at Saber after a couple seconds of gathering his thoughts. "No. Saber, if you didn't kill my at Ares' temple, I'm sure you wouldn't kill me now." He stood up and stretched. He offered a hand to the other man. "Anyways, something fishy is going on. I doubt you were yourself when you attacked." He finished with a small smile. "Some food will make things better."

Bion raised an eyebrow but he wore a small smile at the same time. "Real food." He said back. He could only guess what the other male was implying. Normally, he would try to play along, but he was hungry. "The hunters yesterday told me of the best places to eat. What food you like?"
